હે સર્વોત્કૃષ્ટ સુખના હેતુભુત સમ્યગ્દર્શન!
O, the reason for highest happiness, samyak darshan!

તને અત્યંત ભક્તિથી નમસ્કાર હો.
I bow to you with utmost devotion.

આ અનાદિ સંસારમાં અનંત-અનંત જીવો તારા આશ્રય વિના અનંત-અનંત દુઃખને અનુભવે છે.
In this beginningless world, without your support, infinite infinite lives are experiencing infinite-infinite unhappiness.

તારા પરમ અનુગ્રહથી સ્વ-સ્વરૂપમાં રુચિ થઈ;
Because of your supreme help, I developed a faith and interest in the (inherent) nature of my self (object).

પરમ વીતરાગ સ્વભાવ પ્રત્યે નિશ્ચય આવ્યો;
I became determined of my (object's inherent) supreme attachment-free nature.

કૃતકૃત્ય થવાનો માર્ગ ગ્રહણ થયો.
I grasped the path of achieving everything worth achieving.

હે જિન વીતરાગ! તમને અત્યંત ભક્તિથી નમસ્કાર કરું છું.
O Jin Vitrag! I bow to you with utmost devotion.

તમે આ પામર પ્રત્યે અનંત-અનંત ઉપકાર કર્યો છે.
You have showered infinite-infinite help on this lowly person.

હે કુન્દકુન્દાદિ આચાર્યો! તમારાં વચનો પણ સ્વરુપનુસંધાનને વિષે આ પામરને પરમ ઉપકારભુત થયાં છે. તે માટે તમને અત્યંત ભક્તિથી નમસ્કાર કરું છું.
O Kundkund and other acharyas! Your words have also been supremely helpful to this lowly person for researching the nature of his self. For that reason, I bow to you with utmost devotion.

સમ્યગ્દર્શનની પ્રાપ્તિ વિના જ્ન્માદિ દુઃખની આત્યંતિક નિવૃત્તિ બનવા યોગ્ય નથી.
Without attainment of samyak darshan, it is not possible to be completely free of all unhappiness of birth etc.
