वृद्धिकरम्] uttam tap tathA svAdhyAyanI vRuddhi karanAr chhe [तत् एव] te ja [देयं] devA yogya chhe.

TIkA– ‘यत् (वस्तु) रागद्वेष असंयम मद दुःख भयादिकं न कुरुते तत् एव मुतपः स्वाध्यायवृद्धिकरं द्रव्यं देयम्।’–artha–je vastu rAg, dveSh, asanyam, mad, dukh ane bhay utpattinun kAraN nathI ane je vastu tap ane shAstranA svAdhyAyane vadhAranAr chhe tenun ja dAn karavun joIe.
