chhe, rAgAdinI mukhyatA nathI. jIv potAnI kramabaddhaparyAyapaNe Upaje chhe, temAn gnAn, shraddhA vagere badhA guNonun
pariNaman bhegun ja chhe. te pariNAmapaNe koN Upaje chhe? –ke jIv Upaje chhe. te jIv kevo? –ke gnAyakasvabhAvI.
Avo nirNay karanAr potAnA gnAyakasvabhAvanA avalambane gnAnabhAve ja (eTale ke shraddhA, gnAn, Anand vagere
guNonA nirmaL anshapaNe ja) Upaje chhe, paN rAgapaNe Upajato nathI. shraddhA, gnAn, Anand vagerenI
kramabaddhaparyAyopaNe ‘rAg’ nathI Upajato paN gnAyakasvabhAvI ‘jIv’ Upaje chhe. mATe gnAyakasvabhAv upar jenI

जीवो चरितदंसणणाणट्ठिउ तं हि ससमयं जाण।
पुग्गलकम्मपदेसट्ठियं च तं जाण परसमयं।।

te parasamay chhe; te kharekhar jIvanun svarUp nathI. tyAn jene ‘svasamay’ kahyo tene ja ahIn ‘akartA’ kahIne varNavyo
chhe. gnAyakasvabhAvanI sanmukh thaIne potAnA samyak shraddhA–gnAnane vItarAgabhAvanI paryAyapaNe je Upajyo te
‘svasamay’ chhe, ne te rAgAdino ‘akartA’ chhe.
[7] ‘nimittano prabhAv’ mAnanAr bAhyadraShTimAn aTakyA chhe.
atyAre to, A mULabhUt antaranI vAtane bhUlIne ghaNA loko nimittanA ne vyavahAranA jhaghaDAmAn aTakyA
chhe. nimittono AtmA upar prabhAv paDe–em mAnIne jeo nimittAdhInadraShTimAn ja aTakI gayA chhe temane to
gnAyakasvabhAv taraph vaLavAno avakAsh nathI. nimittano prabhAv paDe eTale kumbhArano ghaDA upar prabhAv paDe,
karmano AtmA upar prabhAv paDe, em je mAne chhe tene to hajI mithyAtvarUpI dArUno prabhAv laIne mithyAdraShTi ja
rahevun chhe. gnAyakasvabhAv taraph vaLatAn mArI paryAyamAn gnAyakabhAvano prabhAv paDe–em na mAnatAn, nimittano
prabhAv paDe em mAne chhe to, he bhAI! nimitta taraphanun valaN chhoDIne tun svabhAv taraph kyAre vaLIsh? nimitta
taraph ja na jotAn gnAyakasvabhAv taraph vaLe to karmanun nimittapaNun rahetun nathI. agnAnIne tenA guNanI UndhAImAn
karmanun nimitta bhale ho, paN te to paragneyamAn jAy chhe; ahIn to gnAnInI vAt chhe ke, gnAnI pote gnAyak taraph vaL‌yo
chhe eTale te gnAtApaNe ja Upajyo chhe, rAgapaNe–Asrav ke bandhapaNe te Upajato nathI, tethI tene karmanun nimittapaNun
paN nathI. A rIte, kramabaddhaparyAyanI pratIt karIne gnAyak taraph jhUkelo jIv, kramabaddhaparyAyamAn rAgapaNe nathI
Upajato paN gnAnapaNe ja Upaje chhe, ane e ja kramabaddhanI yathArtha pratItanun phaL chhe.
[8] gnAtAnA kramamAn gnAnanI vRuddhi ne rAganI hAni.
prashna:– jo paryAy kramabaddha chhe, hIn–adhik thatI nathI, to ochhA gnAnane vadhArI to na shakAy? ne rAgane
ghaTADI to na shakAy?
uttar:– are bhAI! hajI tun A vAt nathI samajyo, tArun valaN gnAyak taraph nathI gayun. bhAI, gnAnane
vadhAravAno ne rAgane ghaTADavAno upAy to kyAy bahAramAn chhe? –ke antaranA gnAyakasvabhAvanA avalambanamAn
chhe? ‘hun gnAyak chhun ne mArA gnAyakanI paryAy to kramabaddha svapar prakAshak ja thAy chhe’ evo nirNay karIne gnAyakanun
avalamban lIdhun chhe, tyAn paryAye paryAye gnAnanI vishuddhatA vadhatI ja jAy chhe ne rAg ghaTato ja jAy chhe; hun gnAn
