vah jIv is upadeshase pUjanAdi kArya Cho.D.h.h de aur hi.nsArahit sAmAyikAdi dharmame.n lage nahI.n
tab usakA to burA hI hogA. isIprakAr anyatra jAnanA.
tathA jaise koI auShadhi guNakArI hai; parantu apaneko jab tak us auShadhise hit
ho tab tak usakA grahaN kare; yadi shIt miTAne par bhI uShNa auShadhikA sevan karatA hI
rahe to ulTA rog hogA. usIprakAr koI dharmakArya hai; parantu apaneko jab tak us dharmakAryase
hit ho tab tak usakA grahaN kare; yadi uchcha dashA hone par nichalI dashA sambandhI dharmake
sevaname.n lage to ulTA vikAr hI hogA.
yahA.N udAharaNjaise pAp miTAneke artha pratikramaNAdi dharmakArya kahe hai.n; parantu
AtmAnubhav hone par pratikramaNAdikA vikalpa kare to ulTA vikAr ba.DhegA; isIse samayasArame.n
pratikramaNAdikako viSh kahA hai. tathA jaise avratIko karane yogya prabhAvanAdi dharmakArya kahe
hai.n, unhe.n vratI hokar kare to pAp hI bA.NdhegA. vyApArAdi Arambha Cho.Dkar chaityAlayAdi kAryo.nkA
adhikArI ho yah kaise banegA? isIprakAr anyatra bhI jAnanA.

isI prakAr aur bhI sachche vichArase upadeshako yathArtha jAnakar a.ngIkAr karanA. bahut
vistAr kahA.N tak kahe.n; apaneko samyagj~nAn hone par svaya.n hI ko yathArtha bhAsit hotA hai.
upadesh to vachanAtmak hai tathA vachan dvArA anek artha yugapat nahI.n kahe jAte; isaliye upadesh
to ek hI arthakI mukhyatAsahit hotA hai.
