— इत्थं मतिज्ञानादिज्ञानोपयोगाष्टकं व्याख्यातम् ।।४१।।
ā ātmā, manaḥparyayagnānāvaraṇano kṣhayopasham hotān, paramanogat mūrta vastune je pratyakṣhapaṇe jāṇe chhe te manaḥparyayagnān chhe. r̥̄ujumati ane vipulamati evā bhedo vaḍe manaḥparyayagnān be prakāranun chhe. tyān, vipulamati manaḥparyayagnān paranā manavachanakāy sambandhī padārthane, vakra tem ja avakra bannene, jāṇe chhe ane r̥̄ujumati manaḥparyayagnān to r̥̄ujune (avakrane) ja jāṇe chhe. nirvikār ātmānī upalabdhi ane bhāvanā sahit charamadehī munione vipulamati manaḥparyayagnān hoy chhe. ā banne manaḥparyayagnāno vītarāg ātmatattvanān samyak shraddhān-gnān-anuṣhṭhānanī bhāvanā sahit, pandar pramād rahit apramatta munine upayogamān — vishuddha pariṇāmamān
utpādakāḷe ja apramattapaṇāno niyam chhe, pachhī pramattapaṇāmān paṇ te sambhave chhe.
je gnān ghaṭapaṭādi gney padārthone avalambīne ūpajatun nathī te kevaḷagnān chhe. te shrutagnānasvarūp paṇ nathī. joke divyadhvanikāḷe tenā ādhāre gaṇadharadev vagerene shrutagnān pariṇame chhe topaṇ te shrutagnān gaṇadharadev vagerene ja hoy chhe, kevaḷībhagavantone to kevaḷagnān ja hoy chhe. vaḷī, kevaḷībhagavantone shrutagnān nathī eṭalun ja nahi, paṇ temane gnān-agnān paṇ nathī arthāt temane koī viṣhayanun gnān ane koī viṣhayanun agnān hoy em paṇ nathī — sarva viṣhayonun gnān ja hoy chhe; athavā, temane matignānādi anek bhedavāḷun gnān nathī — kevaḷagnān ek ja chhe.
ahīn je pāñch gnāno varṇavavāmān āvyān te vyavahārathī varṇavavāmān āvyān chhe. nishchayathī to vādaḷān vinānā sūryanī māphak ātmā akhaṇḍ-ek-gnānapratibhāsamay ja chhe.
have agnānatray viṣhe kahevāmān āve chheḥ —
mithyātva dvārā arthāt bhāv-āvaraṇ dvārā agnān ( – kumatignān, kushrutagnān tathā vibhaṅgagnān) ane aviratibhāv hoy chhe tathā gneyane avalambatān ( – gney sambandhī vichār athavā gnān karatān) te te kāḷe duḥnay ane duḥpramāṇ hoy chhe. (mithyādarshananā sadbhāvamān vartatun matignān te kumatignān chhe, shrutagnān te kushrutagnān chhe, avadhignān te vibhaṅgagnān chhe; tenā sadbhāvamān vartatā nayo te duḥnayo chhe ane pramāṇ te duḥpramāṇ chhe.) māṭe em bhāvārtha samajavo ke nirvikār shuddha ātmānī anubhūtisvarūp nishchay samyaktva upādey chhe.
