nanu ko‘yamātmā kathan chāvāpyat iti chet, abhihitametat punarapyabhidhīyate . ātmā hi tāvachchaitanyasāmānyavyāptānantadharmādhiṣhṭhātrekan dravyamanantadharmavyāpakānantanayavyāpyekashrut- gnānalakṣhaṇapramāṇapūrvakasvānubhavapramīyamāṇatvāt . tattu dravyanayen paṭamātravachchinmātram 1 . paryāyanayen tantumātravaddarshanagnānādimātram 2 . astitvanayenāyomayaguṇakārmukāntarālavarti- sanhitāvasthalakṣhyonmukhavishikhavat svadravyakṣhetrakālabhāvairastitvavat 3 . nāstitvanayenānayomayā- guṇakārmukāntarālavartyasanhitāvasthālakṣhyonmukhaprākta navishikhavat paradravyakṣhetrakālabhāvairnāsti-
atrāh shiṣhyaḥ — paramātmadravyan yadyapi pūrvan bahudhā vyākhyātam, tathāpi saṅkṣhepeṇ punarapi kathyatāmiti . bhagavānāh — kevalagnānādyanantaguṇānāmādhārabhūtan yattadātmadravyan bhaṇyate . tasya cha nayaiḥ
[ab ṭīkākār shrī amr̥utachandrāchāryadev parishiṣhṭarūpase kuchh kahate hain : — ]
‘yah ātmā kaun hai (-kaisā hai) aur kaise prāpta kiyā jātā hai’ aisā prashna kiyā jāy to isakā uttar (pahale hī) kahā jā chukā hai aur (yahān̐) punaḥ kahate hain : —
pratham to, ātmā vāstavamen chaitanyasāmānyase vyāpta ananta dharmoṅkā adhiṣhṭhātā (svāmī) ek dravya hai, kyoṅki ananta dharmommen vyāpta honevāle jo ananta nay hain unamen vyāpta honevālā jo ek shrutagnānasvarūp pramāṇ hai, us pramāṇapūrvak svānubhavase (vah ātmadravya) pramey hotā hai (-gnāt hotā hai) .
vah ātmadravya dravyanayase, paṭamātrakī bhān̐ti, chinmātra hai (arthāt ātmā dravyanayase chaitanyamātra hai, jaise vastra vastramātra hai tadanusār .) 1.
ātmadravya paryāyanayase, tantumātrakī bhān̐ti, darshanagnānādimātra hai (arthāt ātmā paryāyanayase darshanagnānachāritrādimātra hai, jaise vastra tantumātra hai .) 2.
ātmadravya astitvanayase svadravya – kṣhetra – kāl – bhāvase astitvavālā hai; — lohamay, ḍorī aur dhanuṣhake madhyamen sthit, sandhānadashāmen rahe hue aur lakṣhyonmukh bāṇakī bhān̐ti . (jaise koī bāṇ svadravyase lohamay hai, svakṣhetrase ḍorī aur dhanuṣhake madhyamen sthit hai, svakālase sandhān – dashāmen hai, arthāt dhanuṣh par charḥākar kheñchī huī dashāmen hai, aur svabhāvase lakṣhyonmukh hai arthāt nishānakī or hai, usīprakār ātmā astitvanayase svachatuṣhṭayase astitvavālā hai .) 3.
ātmadravya nāstitvanayase paradravya – kṣhetra – kāl – bhāvase nāstitvavālā hai; — alohamay, ḍorī aur dhanuṣhake madhyamen nahīn sthit, sandhānadashāmen na rahe hue aur alakṣhyonmukh aise pahaleke bāṇakī bhān̐ti . (jaise pahalekā bāṇ anya bāṇake dravyakī apekṣhāse alohamay hai, anya bāṇake kṣhetrakī apekṣhāse ḍorī aur dhanuṣhake madhyamen sthit nahīn hai, anya bāṇake kālakī apekṣhāse sandhānadashāmen nahīn rahā huā aur anya bāṇake bhāvakī apekṣhāse alakṣhyonmukh hai,
