
to bhūp paṇ sukhajanak vidhavidh bhogane āpe nahi;
to karma paṇ sukhajanak vidhavidh bhogane detān nathī.
tene sukh utpanna karanārā anek prakāranā bhogo āpe chhe. (paṇ te sārān nathī em ahīn kahevun chhe.)
tyāgī thāy ke sādhu thāy paṇ ‘ā kriyā rāganī chhe ke rāg vinānī chhe? dayādi te shubh rāganī chhe. tathā
hinsādi tīvra–rāganī–pāpanī chhe, te rāganī kriyāthī ātmāne lābh thāy nahi’ em jeṇe rāgarahit ātmānī
shraddhā–ruchi nathī te je kāī vrat, tap, dān, pūjā, bhakti ādi kare chhe temān mand kaṣhāyathī je puṇya thāy te puṇyane
te sansāranā sukhane māṭe seve chhe. arthāt tene puṇyanī ruchi chhe. paṇ puṇyanun phaḷ–sansār sukh bhogavavāno je
jaḍanī ruchi chhe, puṇya–pāp rahit ātmānī ruchi nathī.
kriyā ātmāne bandhan chhe. jene ātmānā pavitra gnānasvabhāvanun bhān nathī te puṇyano bhāv temān sukh mānīne
kare chhe. je bhāve puṇya bandhan thāy te bhāvane sāro māne to samajavun ke tene jaḍanī ruchi chhe, ātmānī nathī.
sansāranā sukh sāmagrī male chhe evā puṇya bhāvanī ruchi paṇ ṭaḷavī ja joīe, ane je bhāve te ruchi ṭaḷe e
bhāv sevavo joīe. je ‘sādhu’ ‘ke dharmī’ evun nām mātra dharāve chhe, paṇ puṇya–pāp rahit ātmānā
svarūpanī khabar nathī tene puṇyanī ruchi rahe chhe. ahīn puṇya karavān chhoḍī do em nathī kahevun, pāpathī bachavā
puratā puṇya barābar chhe, paṇ tenī ruchi na hovī joīe; jene puṇyanī ruchi chhe tene jaḍamān sukh buddhi chhe
eṭale jaḍanī ruchi chhe.
ātmānun sukh jaḍamān nathī. ātmāmān je shubharāg thāy te jo ruche to samajavun ke tene sansār–sukhanī
puṇya–pāpanā bhāvanī ruchi nathī tyān samajavun ke tene sansār sukhanī paudgalik sukhanī ruchi nathī–īchchhā nathī
ane ātmānī ruchi chhe.
je sāro māne chhe tene pratham ja sansārik sukhanī īchchhā chhe, ane tenī ruchi chhe. jīv je puṇya ke pāpanā rāg
bhāv kare chhe temān pāp to duḥkhanun kāraṇ chhe ja tenī to vāt
