he jīv! atr̥uptakārī viṣhayomānthī sukhabuddhi chhoḍ.
ānandanun pūr tārā ātmāmān vahe chhe
agnānī jīv lakṣhmī vagerethī sukh thavānun māne chhe ne temān ja udyam kare chhe paṇ ātmānā hitano udyam
karato nathī tene ahīn hitano upadesh āpīne samajāve chhe :
are bhāī, tun lakṣhmīmān sukh mānī rahyo chhe paṇ sāmbhaḷ! pratham to te dhan meḷavavāmān anek prakāranī
ākuḷatā ne ātāp chhe, kadāchit te maḷī jāy to paṇ tene pharīpharīne bhogavavānī ākuḷatā thayā kare chhe ne
chittamān tene sāchavavāno gabharāṭ rahyā ja kare chhe; ane antamān teno tyāg thatān paṇ mahā duḥkh thāy chhe. ā
rīte jenī ādimān madhyamān ne antamān duḥkh ja chhe–evā ahitakar viṣhayabhogone kyo buddhimān ‘sukhabuddhithī’
sevan karashe? gnānīne bhog taraph jarāk vr̥utti hoy topaṇ tene temān sukhabuddhi nathī, eṭale sukhabuddhithī tene
viṣhayonun sevan nathī. agnānīne to viṣhayomān sukhabuddhi chhe. bhale kadāchit bahārathī teṇe viṣhayono tyāg hoy,
paṇ abhiprāyamān rāganī shubhavr̥uttinā vedanamān sukh māne chhe to tenā viṣhayomān sukhabuddhi to ūbhī ja chhe; ne
gnānīne viṣhayabhoganā prasaṅg vakhate ya temān sukhabuddhi jarāy nathī, viṣhayo taraphanī vr̥uttine te duḥkhamay jāṇe chhe.
mārun sukh to mārā chaitanyanā vedanamān chhe.
ahīn āchāryadev kahe chhe ke are bhāī! viṣhayono upabhog tane kadī tr̥upti āpavā samartha nathī. anant
kāḷanā viṣhayonā upabhog chhatān tun tr̥upti na pāmyo, tane atr̥upti ja rahī. māṭe eṭalo to vichār kar ke ā
viṣhayomān mārun sukh nathī; chaitanyasvarūpamān ja mārī shānti chhe, chaitanya sanmukh thatān param tr̥upti vedāy chhe, tyān
bahāranā viṣhayonī jarūr paḍatī nathī. hajī bhogano bhāv sarvathā chhūṭī gayā pahelānn tāro abhiprāy to
badalāvī nāṅkh.–are, mārun sukh bahāramān nahi, mārun sukh to mārāmān ja chhe.–āvo abhiprāy thatān ākhā
jagatamān viṣhayomānthī sukhabuddhi chhūṭī jashe, eṭale abhiprāyamān ākhā jagatanā viṣhayono tyāg thaī jashe.
juo, ātmā sarvagnasvabhāvī chhe, sarvane jāṇavāno teno svabhāv chhe, ne te jāṇavānā svabhāvamān je
ānand chhe te atīndriy chhe. āvā gnān–ānand svabhāvane chūkīne jeṇe ek paṇ paraviṣhayamān sukh mānyun tene
ākhā jagatanā viṣhayo bhogavavānī buddhi ūṇḍeūṇḍe paḍī ja chhe. ām gnānasvabhāvanā vedanano ānand jene nathī
bhāsato tene īndriyaviṣhayomān ānand bhāse chhe. paṇ are bhāī! tārī tr̥uṣhṇāno dāh viṣhayo vaḍe kadī shānt nahi
thāy, viṣhayo taraphanā valaṇathī to ulaṭo tāro tr̥uṣhṇā–agni vadhāre phāṭashe. viṣhayo taraphanā valaṇamān pahelānn–pachhī
ke ant kyāy sukh nathī, kyāy tr̥upti nathī. jem jagatamān lākaḍānthī agni tr̥upta thato nathī chhatān kadāch te to
lākaḍāthī tr̥upta thaī jāy, dariyo nadīonān pāṇīthī tr̥upta thato nathī chhatān kadāch te to tr̥upta thaī jāy, parantu
jagatamān jīvonī viṣhay–tr̥uṣhṇā viṣhayonā upabhog vaḍe kadī paṇ tr̥upta thatī nathī. asaṅkhya varṣha sudhī svarganā
bhogopabhog vaḍe paṇ jīvane tr̥upti thatī nathī. bhoganī jene tr̥uṣhṇā chhe te kadī tene chhoḍato nathī, ek
viṣhayamānthī bījā viṣhayamān, ne bījāmānthī trījā viṣhayamān agnānīnī vr̥utti vaḷ‌yā ja kare chhe, paṇ viṣhayomānthī
tenī vr̥utti virām pāmatī nathī. viṣhayo to kadāchit tene chhoḍīne chālyā jāy chhe chhatān paṇ tenī tr̥uṣhṇā mūḍhane
chhūṭatī nathī. viṣhayo maḷe toy duḥkh, ne viṣhayo na maḷe toy mahāduḥkh,
