nijasvarUpamen ahambuddhi dharatA hai. chidAnanda hUn, shuddha hUn, siddha hUn, ityAdi vichAr hone par
sahaj hI Ananda tarang uThatI hai, romAnch ho AtA hai; tatpashchAt aisA vichAr to chhUT jAy,
keval chinmAtrasvarUp bhAsane lage; vahAn sarva pariNAm us rUpamen ekAgra hokar pravartate hain; darshan-
gnAnAdikakA va nay-pramANAdikakA bhI vichAr vilay ho jAtA hai.
chaitanyasvarUp jo savikalpase nishchay kiyA thA, usahImen vyApta-vyApakarUp hokar isaprakAr
pravartatA hai jahAn dhyAtA-dhyeyapanA dUr ho gayA. so aisI dashAkA nAm nirvikalpa anubhav
hai. baDe nayachakra granthamen aisA hI kahA hai :

arthatattvake avalokan (anveShaN) kA jo kAl usamen samay arthAt shuddhAtmAko
yukti arthAt nay-pramAN dvArA pahale jAne. pashchAt ArAdhanasamay jo anubhavakAl usamen nay-
pramAN nahIn hain, kyonki pratyakSha anubhav hai.
jaiseratnako kharIdanemen anek vikalpa karate hain, jab pratyakSha use pahinate hain, tab vikalpa
nahIn haipahinanekA sukh hI hai. isaprakAr savikalpake dvArA nirvikalpa anubhav hotA hai.
tathA jo gnAn pAnch indriyon va chhaThaven manake dvArA pravartatA thA, vah gnAn sab orase
simaTakar is nirvikalpa anubhavamen keval svarUpasanmukh huA. kyonki vah gnAn kShayopashamarUp
hai, isaliye ek kAlamen ek gneyako hI jAnatA hai, vah gnAn svarUp jAnaneko pravartit huA
tab anyakA jAnanA sahaj hI rah gayA. vahAn aisI dashA huI ki bAhya anek shabdAdik
vikAr hon to bhI svarUpadhyAnIko kuchh khabar nahIn
isaprakAr matignAn bhI svarUpasanmukh huA.
tathA nayAdikake vichAr miTane par shrutagnAn bhI svarUpasanmukh huA.
aisA varNan samayasArakI TIkA AtmakhyAtimen hai tathA AtmAvalokanAdimen hai. isIliye
nirvikalpa anubhavako atIndriy kahate hain. kyonki indriyonkA dharma to yah hai ki sparsha, ras,
gandh, varNa, shabdako jAnen, vah yahAn nahIn hai; aur manakA dharma yah hai ki anek vikalpa
kare, vah yahAn nahIn hai; isaliye yadyapi jo gnAn indriy
manamen pravartatA thA, vahI gnAn anubhavamen
pravartatA hai; tathApi is gnAnako atIndriy kahate hain.
tathA is svAnubhavako man dvArA huA bhI kahate hain, kyonki is anubhavamen matignAn-
shrutagnAn hI hain, anya koI gnAn nahIn hai.

mati-shrutagnAn indriy-manake avalamban binA nahIn hotA, so yahAn indriyakA to abhAv
hI hai, kyonki indriyakA viShay mUrtik padArtha hI hai. tathA yahAn managnAn hai, kyonki manakA
viShay amUrtik padArtha bhI hai, isaliye yahAn man-sambandhI pariNAm svarUpamen ekAgra hokar anya
chintAkA nirodh karate hain, isaliye ise man dvArA kahate hain. ‘‘ekAgrachintAnirodho dhyAnam’’
aisA dhyAnakA bhI lakShaN aise anubhav dashAmen sambhav hai.
tathA samayasAr nATakake kavittamen kahA hai
vastu vichArat dhyAvatain, man pAvai vishrAma.
ras svAdat sukh Upajai, anubhav yAkau nAma..
isaprakAr man binA jude hI pariNAm svarUpamen pravartit nahIn hue, isaliye svAnubhavako
manajanit bhI kahate hain; ata atIndriy kahanemen aur manajanit kahanemen kuchh virodh nahIn hai,
vivakShAbhed hai.
tathA tumane likhA ki ‘‘AtmA atIndriy hai, isaliye atIndriy dvArA hI grahaN kiyA
jAtA hai;’’ so (bhAIjI) man amUrtikakA bhI grahaN karatA hai, kyonki mati-shrutagnAnakA viShay
sarvadravya kahe hain. uktan cha tattvArtha sUtre
‘‘matishrutayornibandho dravyeShvasarvaparyAyeShu.’’ (126)
tathA tumane pratyakShaparokShakA prashna likhA so bhAIjI, pratyakShaparokSha to samyaktvake bhed
hain nahIn. chauthe guNasthAnamen siddhasamAn kShAyik samyaktva ho jAtA hai, isaliye samyaktva to keval
yathArtha shraddhAnarUp hI hai. vah (jIv) shubhAshubhakArya karatA bhI rahatA hai. isaliye tumane jo
likhA thA ki ‘‘nishchayasamyaktva pratyakSha hai aur vyavahArasamyaktva parokSha hai’’, so aisA nahIn hai.
samyaktvake to tIn bhed hain
vahAn upashamasamyaktva aur kShAyikasamyaktva to nirmal hain, kyonki ve
mithyAtvake udayase rahit hain aur kShayopashamasamyaktva samal hai, kyonki samyaktvamohanIyake udayase
sahit hai. parantu is samyaktvamen pratyakSha
parokSha koI bhed to nahIn hain.
kShAyik samyaktvIke shubhAshubharUp pravartate hue va svAnubhavarUp pravartate hue samyaktvaguN
to samAn hI hai, isaliye samyaktvake to pratyakSha-parokSha bhed nahIn mAnanA.
tathA pramANake pratyakSha-parokSha bhed hain, so pramAN samyaggnAn hai; isaliye matignAn-shrutagnAn
to parokShapramAN hain, avadhi-manaparyay-kevalagnAn pratyakShapramAN hain. ‘‘Adye parokShan pratyakShamanyat’’

bhI gneyako sampUrNa nahIn jAn sakatA, isaliye parokSha kahe aur avadhi
manaparyayagnAnake viShay
thoDe hain; tathApi apane viShayako spaShTa bhalIbhAnti jAnate hain, isaliye ekadesh pratyakSha hain aur
kevalagnAn sarva gneyako Ap spaShTa jAnatA hai isaliye sarvapratyakSha hai.
tathA pratyakShake do bhed hainek paramArtha pratyakSha, dUsarA sAmvyavahArik pratyakSha. vahAn
avadhi, manaparyay aur kevalagnAn to spaShTa pratibhAsarUp hain hI, isaliye pAramArthik pratyakSha
hain. tathA netrAdikase varNAdikako jAnate hain vahAn vyavahArase aisA kahate hain
‘isane varNAdik
pratyakSha jAne’, ekadesh nirmalatA bhI pAI jAtI hai, isaliye inako sAmvyavahArik pratyakSha kahate
hain; parantu yadi ek vastumen anek mishra varNa hain ve netra dvArA bhalIbhAnti nahIn grahaN kiye
jAte hain, isaliye isako paramArtha-pratyakSha nahIn kahA jAtA hai.
tathA parokSha pramANake pAnch bhed hainsmRuti, pratyabhignAn, tarka, anumAn, aur Agama.
vahAn pUrva kAlamen jo vastu jAnI thI use yAd karake jAnanA, use smRuti kahate hain.
dRuShTAnt dvArA vastukA nishchay kiyA jAye use pratyabhignAn kahate hain. hetuke vichArayukta jo
gnAn use tarka kahate hain. hetuse sAdhya vastukA jo gnAn use anumAn kahate hain. Agamase
jo gnAn ho use Agam kahate hain.
aise pratyakSha-parokSha pramANake bhed kahe hain.
vahAn is svAnubhavadashAmen jo AtmAko jAnA jAtA hai so shrutagnAn dvArA jAnA jAtA
hai. shrutagnAn hai vah matignAnapUrvak hI hai, ve matignAn-shrutagnAn parokSha kahe hain, isaliye yahAn
AtmAkA jAnanA pratyakSha nahIn hai. tathA avadhi-manaparyayakA viShay rUpI padArtha hI hai aur
kevalagnAn chhadmasthake hai nahIn, isaliye anubhavamen avadhi-manaparyay-keval dvArA AtmAkA jAnanA
nahIn hai. tathA yahAn AtmAko spaShTa bhalIbhAnti nahIn jAnatA hai, isaliye pAramArthik pratyakShapanA
to sambhav nahIn hai.
tathA jaise netrAdikase varNAdik jAnate hain vaise ekadesh nirmalatA sahit bhI AtmAke
asankhyAt pradeshAdik nahIn jAnate hain, isaliye sAmvyavahArik pratyakShapanA bhI sambhav nahIn hai.

gnAn hai vahAn-vahAn AtmA hai
jaise siddhAdik hain; tathA jahAn AtmA nahIn hai vahAn gnAn bhI nahIn
haijaise mRutak kalevarAdik hain.’’ isaprakAr anumAn dvArA vastukA nishchay karake usamen
pariNAm magna karatA hai, isaliye anumAn parokShapramAN kahA jAtA hai. athavA Agam-
anumAnAdik dvArA jo vastu jAnanemen AyI usIko yAd rakhakar usamen pariNAm magna karatA
hai, isaliye smRuti kahI jAtI hai;
ityAdi prakArase svAnubhavamen parokShapramAN dvArA hI AtmAkA
jAnanA hotA hai. vahAn pahale jAnanA hotA hai, pashchAt jo svarUp jAnA usImen pariNAm magna
hote hain, pariNAm magna hone par kuchh visheSh jAnapanA hotA nahIn hai.
yahAn phi ra prashnayadi savikalpa-nirvikalpamen jAnanekA visheSh nahIn hai to adhik Ananda
kaise hotA hai?
usakA samAdhAnasavikalpa dashAmen gnAn anek gneyonko jAnanerUp pravartatA thA,
nirvikalpadashAmen keval AtmAkA hI jAnanA hai; ek to yah visheShatA hai. dUsarI visheShatA
yah hai ki jo pariNAm nAnA vikalpommen pariNamit hotA thA vah keval svarUpase hI tAdAtmyarUp
hokar pravRutta huA. dUsarI yah visheShatA huI.
aisI visheShatAen hone par koI vachanAtIt aisA apUrva Ananda hotA hai jo ki viShay-
sevanamen usakI jAtikA ansh bhI nahIn hai, isaliye us Anandako atIndriy kahate hain.
yahAn phi ra prashnaanubhavamen bhI AtmA parokSha hI hai, to granthommen anubhavako pratyakSha kaise
kahate hain? UparakI gAthAmen hI kahA hai ‘pachchakho aNuhavo jamhA’ so kaise hai?
usakA samAdhAnaanubhavamen AtmA to parokSha hI hai, kuchh AtmAke pradesh AkAr to
bhAsit hote nahIn hain; parantu svarUpamen pariNAm magna honese jo svAnubhav huA vah svAnubhavapratyakSha
hai. svAnubhav svAd kuchh Agam
anumAnAdik parokShapramAN dvArA nahIn jAnatA hai, Ap hI
anubhavake rasasvAdako vedatA hai. jaise koI andh-puruSh mishrIko AsvAdatA hai; vahAn mishrIke
AkArAdi to parokSha hain, jo jihvA se svAd liyA hai vah svAd pratyakSha hai
vaise svAnubhavamen
AtmA parokSha hai, jo pariNAmase svAd AyA vah svAd pratyakSha hai;aisA jAnanA.
athavA jo pratyakShakI hI bhAnti ho use bhI pratyakSha kahate hain. jaise lokamen kahate
hain ki ‘‘hamane svapnamen athavA dhyAnamen amuk puruShako pratyakSha dekhA’’; vahAn kuchh pratyakSha dekhA
nahIn hai, parantu pratyakShakI hI bhAnti pratyakShavat yathArtha dekhA, isaliye use pratyakSha kahA jAtA

dononke hI pariNAm nAmamen hain; vahAn ekako to magnatA visheSh hai aur ekako thoDI hai

phi ra prashnayadi nirvikalpa anubhavamen koI vikalpa nahIn hai to shukladhyAnakA pratham bhed
pRuthaktvavitarkavichAr kahA, vahAn ‘pRuthaktvavitarka’nAnA prakArake shrutakA ‘vichAr’artha-vyanjan-
yogsankramaNaisA kyon kahA?
samAdhAnakathan do prakAr haiek sthUlarUp hai, ek sUkShmarUp hai. jaise sthUlatAse
to chhaThaven hI guNasthAnamen sampUrNa brahmacharya vrat kahA aur sUkShmatAse navaven guNasthAn tak maithun
sangnA kahI; usIprakAr yahAn anubhavamen nirvikalpatA sthUlarUp kahate hain. tathA sUkShmatAse
pRuthaktvavitarka vichArAdik bhed va kaShAyAdik dasaven guNasthAn tak kahe hain. vahAn apane jAnanemen
va anyake jAnanemen Aye aise bhAvakA kathan sthUl jAnanA, tathA jo Ap bhI na jAne aur
kevalI bhagavAn hI jAnen
aise bhAvakA kathan sUkShma jAnanA. charaNAnuyogAdikamen sthUlakathanakI
mukhyatA hai aur karaNAnuyogamen sUkShmakathanakI mukhyatA hai;aisA bhed anyatra bhI jAnanA.
isaprakAr nirvikalpa anubhavakA svarUp jAnanA.
tathA bhAIjI, tumane tIn dRuShTAnta likhe va dRuShTAntamen prashna likhA, so dRuShTAnta sarvAng
milatA nahIn hai. dRuShTAnta hai vah ek prayojanako batalAtA hai; so yahAn dvitIyAkA vidhu
(chandramA), jalabindu, agnikaNikA
yah to ekadesh hain aur pUrNamAsIkA chandra, mahAsAgar tathA
agnikuNDayah sarvadesh hain. usIprakAr chauthe guNasthAnamen AtmAke gnAnAdiguN ekadesh pragaT

kevalarUp samyaggnAn hai. tathA ekadesh sarvadeshakA antar to itanA hI hai ki mati-shrutagnAnavAlA
amUrtik vastuko apratyakSha aur mUrtik vastuko bhI pratyakSha va apratyakSha, kinchit anukramase jAnatA
hai tathA sarvathA sarva vastuko kevalagnAn yugapat jAnatA hai; vah parokSha jAnatA hai, yah pratyakSha
jAnatA hai itanA hI visheSh hai. aur sarvaprakAr ek hI jAti kahen to jisaprakAr kevalI
yugapat pratyakSha aprayojanarUp gneyako nirvikalparUp jAnate hain, usIprakAr yah bhI jAne

hai so aur nahIn hai.
tathA tumane nishchayasamyaktvakA svarUp aur vyavahArasamyaktvakA svarUp likhA hai so satya
hai, parantu itanA jAnanA ki samyaktvIke vyavahArasamyaktvamen va anya kAlamen antarangganishchayasamyaktva
garbhit hai, sadaiv gamanarUp rahatA hai.
tathA tumane likhAkoI sAdharmI kahatA hai ki AtmAko pratyakSha jAne to karmavargaNAko
pratyakSha kyon na jAne?
so kahate hain ki AtmAko to pratyakSha kevalI hI jAnate hain, karmavargaNAkau avadhignAnI

gnAnase gnAnakI shuddhatA, kriyAse kriyAkI shuddhatA hai. yadi vishuddhatAmen shuddhatA hai to
yathAkhyAtarUp hotI hai. yadi vishuddhatAmen vah nahIn hotI to kevalImen gnAnaguN shuddha hotA,
kriyA ashuddha rahatI; parantu aisA to nahIn hai. usamen shuddhatA thI, usase vishuddhatA huI hai.
yahAn koI kahe ki gnAnakI shuddhatAse kriyA shuddha huI so aisA nahIn hai. koI guN
kisI guNake sahAre nahIn hai, sab asahAyarUp hain.
aur bhI sunyadi kriyApaddhati sarvathA ashuddha hotI to ashuddhatAkI itanI shakti nahIn
hai ki mokShamArgako chale, isaliye vishuddhatAmen yathAkhyAtakA ansh hai, isaliye vah ansh kram-
kramase pUrNa huA.
he bhAI prashnavAle, tUne vishuddhatAmen shuddhatA mAnI yA nahIn? yadi tUne vah mAnI, to
kuchh aur kahanekA kAm nahIn hai; yadi tUne nahIn mAnI to terA dravya isIprakAr pariNat huA
hai ham kyA karen? yadi mAnI to shAbAsh!
yah dravyArthikakI chaubhangI pUrNa huI.
nimitta-upAdAn shuddhAshuddharUp vichAra
ab paryAyArthikakI chaubhangI sunoek to vaktA agnAnI, shrotA bhI agnAnI; vahAn to
nimitta bhI ashuddha, upAdAn bhI ashuddha. dUsarA vaktA agnAnI, shrotA gnAnI; vahAn nimitta
ashuddha aur upAdAn shuddha. tIsarA vaktA gnAnI, shrotA agnAnI; vahAn nimitta shuddha aur upAdAn
ashuddha. chauthA vaktA gnAnI, shrotA bhI gnAnI; vahAn to nimitta bhI shuddha, upAdAn bhI shuddha.
yah paryAyArthikakI chaubhangI siddha kI.
iti nimitta-upAdAn shuddhAshuddharUp vichAr vachanikA.
