tathA jo yah tattvArthashraddhAn lakShaN kahA, so asambhavI bhI nahIn hai; kyonki samyaktvake
pratipakShI mithyAtvakA yah nahIn hai; usakA lakShaN isase viparItatAsahit hai.
isaprakAr avyApti, ativyApti, asambhavapanese rahit sarva samyagdRuShTiyommen to pAyA jAye
aur kisI mithyAdRuShTimen na pAyA jAyeaisA samyagdarshanakA sachchA lakShaN tattvArthashraddhAn hai.
samyaktvake vibhinna lakShaNonkA samanvay
phi ra prashna hotA hai ki yahAn sAton tattvonke shraddhAnakA niyam kahate ho so nahIn banatA.
kyonki kahIn parase bhinna apane shraddhAnako hI samyaktva kahate hain. samayasAramen1 ‘ekatve niyatasya’
ityAdi kalash haiusamen aisA kahA hai ki is AtmAkA paradravyase bhinna avalokan vahI niyamase
samyagdarshan hai; isaliye navatattvakI santatiko chhoDakar hamAre yah ek AtmA hI hoo.
tathA kahIn ek AtmAke nishchayako hI samyaktva kahate hain. puruShArthasiddhyupAy2 men
‘darshanamAtmavinishchiti’ aisA pad hai, so usakA yahI artha hai. isaliye jIv-ajIvakA hI
va keval jIvakA hI shraddhAn hone par samyaktva hotA hai, sAtonke shraddhAnakA niyam hotA to
aisA kisaliye likhate?
samAdhAnaparase bhinna apanA shraddhAn hotA hai, so AsravAdikake shraddhAnase rahit hotA
hai yA sahit hotA hai? yadi rahit hotA hai, to mokShake shraddhAn binA kis prayojanake artha
aisA upAy karatA hai? samvar-nirjarAke shraddhAn binA rAgAdik rahit hokar svarUpamen upayog
lagAnekA kisaliye udyam rakhatA hai? Asrav-bandhake shraddhAn binA pUrva-avasthAko kisaliye
chhoDatA hai? isaliye AsravAdikake shraddhAnarahit ApAparakA shraddhAn karanA sambhavit nahIn hai.
tathA yadi AsravAdikake shraddhAn sahit hotA hai, to svayamev hI sAton tattvonke shraddhAnakA
niyam huA. tathA keval AtmAkA nishchay hai, so parakA pararUp shraddhAn hue binA AtmAkA

keval jAnanese hI mAnako baDhAtA hai; rAgAdik nahIn chhoDatA, tab usakA kArya kaise siddha
hogA? tathA navatattva santatikA chhoDanA kahA hai; so pUrvamen navatattvake vichArase samyagdarshan huA,
pashchAt nirvikalpa dashA honeke artha navatattvonke bhI vikalpa chhoDanekI chAh kI. tathA jisake
pahale hI navatattvonkA vichAr nahIn hai, usako vah vikalpa chhoDanekA kyA prayojan hai? anya
anek vikalpa Apake pAye jAte hain unhInkA tyAg karo.
is prakAr ApAparake shraddhAnamen va AtmashraddhAnamen sAtatattvonke shraddhAnakI sApekShatA pAyI
jAtI hai, isaliye tattvArthashraddhAn samyaktvakA lakShaN hai.
phi ra prashna hai ki kahIn shAstrommen arahanta dev, nirgrantha guru, hinsArahit dharmake shraddhAnako
samyaktva kahA hai, so kis prakAr hai?
samAdhAnaarahanta devAdikake shraddhAnase kudevAdikakA shraddhAn dUr honeke kAraN
gRuhItamithyAtvakA abhAv hotA hai, us apekShA isako samyaktva kahA hai. sarvathA samyaktvakA
lakShaN yah nahIn hai; kyonki dravyalingI muni Adi vyavahAradharmake dhArak mithyAdRuShTiyonke bhI aisA
shraddhAn hotA hai.
athavA jaise aNuvrat, mahAvrat hone par to deshachAritra, sakalachAritra ho yA na ho;
parantu aNuvrat, mahAvrat hue binA deshachAritra, sakalachAritra kadAchit nahIn hotA; isaliye in
vratonko anvayarUp kAraN jAnakar kAraNamen kAryakA upachAr karake inako chAritra kahA hai.
usI prakAr arahanta devAdikakA shraddhAn hone par to samyaktva ho yA na ho; parantu
arahantAdikakA shraddhAn hue binA tattvArthashraddhAnarUp samyaktva kadAchit nahIn hotA; isaliye
arahantAdikake shraddhAnako anvayarUp kAraN jAnakar kAraNamen kAryakA upachAr karake is
shraddhAnako samyaktva kahA hai. isIse isakA nAm vyavahAr-samyaktva hai.
athavA jisake tattvArthashraddhAn ho, usake sachche arahantAdikake svarUpakA shraddhAn hotA
hI hotA hai. tattvArthashraddhAn binA pakShase arahantAdikakA shraddhAn kare, parantu yathAvat svarUpakI
pahichAn sahit shraddhAn nahIn hotA. tathA jisake sachche arahantAdikake svarUpakA shraddhAn ho,
usake tattvashraddhAn hotA hI hotA hai; kyonki arahantAdikakA svarUp pahichAnanese jIv-ajIv-
AsravAdikakI pahichAn hotI hai.

hai, aisA niyam sambhav nahIn hai?
samAdhAnasaptatattvonke shraddhAnamen arahantAdikakA shraddhAn garbhit hai; kyonki tattvashraddhAnamen
mokShatattvako sarvotkRuShTa mAnate hain, vah mokShatattva to arahanta-siddhakA lakShaN hai. jo lakShaNako
utkRuShTa mAne vah usake lakShyako utkRuShTa mAne hI mAne; isaliye unako bhI sarvotkRuShTa mAnA
aurako nahIn mAnA; vahI devakA shraddhAn huA. tathA mokShake kAraN samvar-nirjarA hain, isaliye
inako bhI utkRuShTa mAnatA hai; aur samvar-nirjarAke dhArak mukhyata muni hain, isaliye muniko
uttam mAnA aurako nahIn mAnA; vahI gurukA shraddhAn huA. tathA rAgAdik rahit bhAvakA
nAm ahinsA hai, usIko upAdey mAnate hain aurako nahIn mAnate; vahI dharmakA shraddhAn huA.
is prakAr tattvashraddhAnamen garbhit arahantadevAdikakA shraddhAn hotA hai. athavA jis nimittase
isake tattvArthashraddhAn hotA hai, us nimittase arahantadevAdikakA bhI shraddhAn hotA hai. isaliye
samyaktvamen devAdikake shraddhAnakA niyam hai.
phi ra prashna hai ki kitane hI jIv arahantAdikakA shraddhAn karate hain, unake guN
pahichAnate hain aur unake tattvashraddhAnarUp samyaktva nahIn hotA; isaliye jisake sachchA
arahantAdikakA shraddhAn ho, usake tattvashraddhAn hotA hai

isakA artha yah haijo arahantako dravyatva, guNatva, paryAyatvase jAnatA hai vah AtmAko
jAnatA hai; usakA moh vilayako prApta hotA hai.
isaliye jisake jIvAdik tattvonkA shraddhAn nahIn hai, usake arahantAdikakA bhI sachchA
shraddhAn nahIn hai. mokShAdik tattvake shraddhAn binA arahantAdikakA mAhAtmya yathArtha nahIn jAnatA.

tathA jahAn ApAparakA bhinna shraddhAn kahA hai, vahAn tattvArthashraddhAnakA prayojan jisase siddha
ho, us shraddhAnako mukhya lakShaN kahA hai. jIv-ajIv shraddhAnakA prayojan ApAparakA bhinna
shraddhAn karanA hai. tathA AsravAdikake shraddhAnakA prayojan rAgAdik chhoDanA hai, so ApAparakA
bhinna shraddhAn hone par paradravyamen rAgAdi na karanekA shraddhAn hotA hai. isaprakAr tattvArthashraddhAnakA
prayojan ApAparake bhinna shraddhAnase siddha hotA jAnakar is lakShaNako kahA hai.
tathA jahAn AtmashraddhAn lakShaN kahA hai, vahAn ApAparake bhinna shraddhAnakA prayojan itanA
hI hai kiApako Ap jAnanA. Apako Ap jAnane par parakA bhI vikalpa kAryakArI
nahIn hai. aise mUlabhUt prayojanakI pradhAnatA jAnakar AtmashraddhAnako mukhya lakShaN kahA hai.
tathA jahAn dev-guru-dharmakA shraddhAn kahA hai, vahAn bAhya sAdhanakI pradhAnatA kI hai; kyonki
arahantadevAdikakA shraddhAn sachche tattvArthashraddhAnakA kAraN hai aur kudevAdikakA shraddhAn kalpit
tattvashraddhAnakA kAraN hai. so bAhya kAraNakI pradhAnatAse kudevAdikakA shraddhAn chhuDAkar
sudevAdikakA shraddhAn karAneke artha dev-guru-dharmake shraddhAnako mukhya lakShaN kahA hai.
is prakAr bhinna-bhinna prayojanonkI mukhyatAse bhinna-bhinna lakShaN kahe hain.
yahAn prashna hai ki yah chAr lakShaN kahe, unamen yah jIv kis lakShaNako angIkAr kare?

lakShaN AbhAsamAtra hote hain, sachche nahIn hote. jinamatake jIvAdik tattvonko mAnatA hai, anyako
nahIn mAnatA, unake nAm-bhedAdikako sIkhatA hai
aisA tattvashraddhAn hotA hai; parantu unake yathArtha-
bhAvakA shraddhAn nahIn hotA. tathA ApAparake bhinnapanekI bAten kare, chintavan kare; parantu jaise
paryAyamen ahambuddhi hai aur vastrAdikamen parabuddhi hai, vaise AtmAmen ahambuddhi aur sharIrAdimen parabuddhi
nahIn hotI. tathA AtmAkA jinavachanAnusAr chintavan kare; parantu pratItirUp ApakA AparUp
shraddhAn nahIn karatA hai. tathA arahantadevAdikake sivA anya kudevAdikako nahIn mAnatA; parantu
unake svarUpako yathArtha pahichAnakar shraddhAn nahIn karatA
isaprakAr yah lakShaNAbhAs mithyAdRuShTike hote
hain. inamen koI hotA hai, koI nahIn hotA; vahAn inake bhinnapanA bhI sambhavit hai.
tathA in lakShaNAbhAsommen itanA visheSh hai ki pahale to devAdikakA shraddhAn ho, phi ra
tattvonkA vichAr ho, phi ra ApAparakA chintavan kare, phi ra keval AtmAkA chintavan kareis
anukramase sAdhan kare to paramparA sachche mokShamArgako pAkar koI jIv siddhapadako bhI prApta kar

jisake devAdikakI mAnyatAkA to kuchh ThikAnA
nahIn hai aur buddhikI tIvratAse tattvavichArAdimen pravartatA hai, isaliye apaneko gnAnI jAnatA
hai; athavA tattvavichAramen bhI upayog nahIn lagAtA, ApAparakA bhedavignAnI huA rahatA hai; athavA
ApAparakA bhI ThIk nirNay nahIn karatA aur apaneko AtmagnAnI mAnatA hai. so sab chaturAIkI
bAten hain, mAnAdik kaShAyake sAdhan hain, kuchh bhI kAryakArI nahIn hain. isaliye jo jIv apanA
bhalA karanA chAhe, use jab tak sachche samyagdarshanakI prApti na ho, tab tak inako bhI anukramase
hI angIkAr karanA.
vahI kahate hainpahale to AgnAdise va kisI parIkShAse kudevAdikakI mAnyatA chhoDakar
arahantadevAdikakA shraddhAn karanA; kyonki yah shraddhAn hone par gRuhItamithyAtvakA to abhAv
hotA hai, tathA mokShamArgake vighna karanevAle kudevAdikakA nimitta dUr hotA hai, mokShamArgakA sahAyak
arahantadevAdikakA nimitta milatA hai; isaliye pahale devAdikakA shraddhAn karanA. phi ra jinamatamen

darshanamoh manda hotA jAye tab kadAchit sachche samyagdarshanakI prApti hotI hai. parantu aisA niyam
to hai nahIn; kisI jIvake koI prabal viparIt kAraN bIchamen ho jAye to samyagdarshanakI prApti
nahIn hotI; parantu mukhyarUpase bahut jIvonke to is anukramase kAryasiddhi hotI hai; isaliye inako

putrakA arthI vivAhAdi kAraNonko milAye, pashchAt bahut puruShonke

samAdhAnatuchchhabuddhiyonko anya lakShaNamen prayojan bhAsit nahIn hotA va bhram utpanna hotA
hai. aur is tattvArthashraddhAn lakShaNamen pragaT prayojan bhAsit hotA hai, kuchh bhram utpanna nahIn

aurako nahIn mAnanA, itanA hI samyaktva hai. vahAn jIv-ajIvakA va bandha-mokShake kAraN-kAryakA
svarUp bhAsit na ho, tab mokShamArga prayojanakI siddhi na ho; va jIvAdikakA shraddhAn hue
binA isI shraddhAnamen santuShTa hokar apaneko samyaktvI mAne; ek kudevAdikase dveSh to rakhe,
anya rAgAdi chhoDanekA udyam na kare;
aisA bhram utpanna ho.
tathA ApAparake shraddhAnamen tuchchhabuddhiyonko yah bhAsit ho ki ApAparakA hI jAnanA
kAryakArI hai, isIse samyaktva hotA hai. vahAn AsravAdikakA svarUp bhAsit na ho, tab mokShamArga
prayojanakI siddhi na ho; va AsravAdikakA shraddhAn hue binA itanA hI jAnanemen santuShTa hokar

aisA artha pragaT karaneke artha samyaktvamArgaNAmen mithyAtva
kahA hai. isIprakAr sAsAdan, mishra bhI samyaktvake bhed nahIn hain. samyaktvake bhed tIn hI
hain, aisA jAnanA.
yahAn karmake upashamAdikase upashamAdi samyaktva kahe, so karmake upashamAdik isake karanese
nahIn hote. yah to tattvashraddhAn karanekA udyam kare, usake nimittase svayamev karmake upashamAdik
