ādhyātmashrutapraṇetā r̥uṣhishchar shrī kundakundāchāryadev dvārā praṇīt rachanāommen shrī samayasār, shrī pravachanasār, shrī pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah, shrī niyamasār aur shrī aṣhṭaprābhr̥ut – ye pān̐ch paramāgam mukhya haĩn. ye pāchon paramāgam hamāre ṭrasṭa dvārā gujarātī evan hindī bhāṣhāmen anek bār prasiddha ho chuke haĩn. ṭīkākār shrīmad–amr̥utachandrāchāryadevakī ‘samayavyākhyā’ nāmak ṭīkā sahit ‘pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah’ ke shrī himmatalāl jeṭhālāl shāh kr̥ut gujarātī anuvādake hindī rūpāntarakā yah pañcham sanskaraṇ ādhyātmavidyāpremī jignāsuoṅke hāthamen prastut karate hue ānanda anubhūt hotā hai.
shrī kundakundabhāratīke ananya param bhakta, ādhyātmayugapravartak, paramopakārī pūjya sadgurudev shrī kānajīsvāmīne is paramāgam shāstra par anek bār pravachanon dvārā usake gahan rahasyoṅkā udghāṭan kiyā hai. vāstavamen is shatādbīmen ādhyātmaruchike navayugakā pravartan kar muumuukṣhusamāj par unhonne asādhāraṇ mahān upakār kiyā hai. is bhautik viṣham yugamen, bhāratavarṣha evan videshommen bhī, ādhyātmake prachārakā jo āndolan pravartatā hai vah pūjya gurudevashrīke chamatkārī prabhāvanāyogakā hī sundar phal hai.
pūjya gurudevashrīke punīt pratāpase hī jain ādhyātmashrutake anek paramāgamaratna mumukṣhujagatako prāpta hue haĩn. yah sanskaraṇ jisakā hindī rūpāntar hai vah [pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah paramāgamakā] gujarātī gadyapadyānuvād bhī, shrī samayasār ādike gujarātī gadyapadyānuvādakī bhān̐ti, prashamamūrti pūjya bahinashrī champābenake bhāī ādhyātmatattvarasik, vidvadvar, ādaraṇīy pt. shrī himmatalāl jeṭhālāl shāhane, pūjya gurudev dvārā diye gaye shuddhātmadarshī upadeshāmr̥utabodh dvārā shāstroṅke gahan bhāvoṅko kholanekī sūjh prāpta kar, ādhyātma– jinavāṇīkī agādh bhaktise saral bhāṣhāmen – ābālavr̥uddhagrāhya, rochak evan sundar ḍhaṅgase – kar diyā hai. anuvādak mahānubhav ādhyātmarasik vidvān honeke atirikta gambhīr, vairāgyashālī, shānta evan vivekashīl sajjan hai, tathā unamen ādhyātmaras syandī madhur kavitva bhī hai. ve bahut varṣho tak pūjya gurudevake samāgamamen rahe hain, aur pūjya gurudevake ādhyātmapravachanoṅke gahan manan dvārā unhonne apanī ātmārthitā kī bahut puṣhṭi kī hai. tattchārthake mūl rahasyon par unakā manan ati gahan hai. shāstrakār evan ṭīkākār āchāryabhagavantoṅke hr̥udayake gahan bhāvoṅkī gambhīratāko yathāvat surakṣhit rakhakar unhonne yah shadbashaḥ gujarātī anuvād kiyā hai; taduparānta mūl gāthāsutroṅkā bhāvapūrṇa madhur gujarātī padyānuvād bhī (harigītachhandamen) unhonne kiyā hai, jo is anuvādakī madhuratā men atīv adhikatā lātā hai aur svādhyāy premiyoṅko bahutahī

is prakār bhagavān shrī kundakundāchāryadevake samayasārādi uttamottam paramāgamoṅke anuvādakā param saubhāgya adaraṇīy shrī himmatabhāīko milā hai tadartha ve vāstavamen abhinandanīy haĩn. pūjya gurudevashrīkī preraṇā jhelakar atyanta parishramapūrvak aisā sundar anuvād kar deneke badalemen sansthā unakā jitanā upakār māne utanā kam hai. yah anuvād amūlya hai, kyoṅki mātra, kundakundabhāratī evan gurudevake prati param bhaktise prerit hokar apanī ādhyātmarasikatā dvārā kiye gaye is anuvādakā mulya kaise ān̐kā jāye? is anuvādake mahān kāryake badalemen unako abhinandanake rūpamen kuchh kīmatī bheṇṭ denekī sansthāko atīv utkaṇṭhā thī, aur use svīkār karaneke liye unako bārambār āgrahayukta anurodhabhī kiyā gayā thā, parantu unhonne use svīkār karaneke liye spaṣhṭa inakār kar diyā thā. unakī yah nispr̥uhatā bhī atyannta prashansanīy hai. pahale pravachanasārake anuvādake samay jab unako bheṇṭakī svīkr̥utike liye anurodh kiyā gayā thā tab unhonne vairāgyapūrvak aisā pratyuttar diyā thā ki ‘‘merā ātmā is sansār paribhramaṇase chhūṭe itanā hī paryāpta, ––dūsarā mujhe kuchh badalā nahīn chāhiye’’. upodghātamen bhī apanī bhāvanā vyakta karate hue ve likhate hain kiḥ ‘‘ yah anuvād maine shrīpañchāstikāyasaṅgrah prati bhaktise aur pūjya gurudevakī preraṇāse prerit hokar, nij kalyāṇake liye, bhavabhayase ḍarate ḍarate kiyā hai’’.

shrutaskandh’ ke sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa āgamommense ek hai.
‘dvitīy shrutaskandh’ kī utpatti kis prakār huī, yah ham paṭṭāvaliyoṅke ādhārase saṅkṣhepamen dekheḥ––
ājase 2483 varṣha pūrva is bharatakṣhetrakī puṇyabhūmimen jagatapūjya paramabhaṭṭārak bhagavān shrī mahāvīrasvāmī mokṣhamārgakā prakāsh karaneke liye samasta padārthoṅkā svarūp apanī sātishay divyadhvani dvārā pragaṭ kar rahe the. unake nirvāṇake pashchāt pān̐ch shrutakevalī hue, jinamen antim shrutakevalī shrī bhadrabāhusvāmī the. vahān̐ tak to dvādashāṅgashāstrakī prarūpaṇāse nishchayavyavahārātmak mokṣhamārga yathārtha– rūpamen pravartamān rahā. tatpashchāt kāladoṣhase kramashaḥ aṅgoke gnānakī vyuchchhitti hotī gaī. is prakār apār gnānasindhukā bahubhāg vichchhedako prāpta honeke pashchāt dūsare bhadrabāhusvāmī āchāryakī paripāṭīmen do samartha munivar hue– ek shrī dharasenāchārya aur dūsare shrī guṇadharāchārya. unase prāpta gnānake dvārā unakī paramparāmen honevāle āchāryone shāstroṅkī rachanā kī aur vīr bhagavānake upadeshakā pravāh achchhinna rakhā.
shrī dharasenāchāryane āgrāyaṇīpūrvake pañcham vastu adhikārake mahākarmaprakr̥iti nāmak chaturtha prābhr̥utakā gnān thā. us gnānāmr̥utase kramashaḥ unake bād honevāle āchāryonne ṣhaṭkhaṇḍāgam, dhaval, mahādhaval, jayadhaval, gommaṭasār, labdhisār, kṣhapaṇāsār ādi shāstroṅkī rachanā kī. is prakār pratham shrutaskandhakī utpatti huī. usamen mukhyataḥ jīv aur karmake sanyogase utpanna honevālī ātmākī sansāraparyāyakā –guṇasthān, mārgaṇāsthān ādikā –varṇan hai, paryāyārthik nayako pradhān karake kathan hai. is nayako ashuddhadravyārthik bhī kahate hai aur adhyātmabhāṣhāmen ashuddhanishchayanay athavā vyavahār kahā jātā hai.
shrī guṇadharāchāryako gnānapravādapūrvake dasham vastuke tr̥utīy prābhr̥utakā gnān thā. us gnānamense unake pashchāt honevāle āchāryonne kramashaḥ siddhānta–rachanā kī. is prakār sarvagna bhagavān mahāvīrase chale ānevālā gnān āchārya – paramparā dvārā bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevako prāpta huā. unhonne pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah, pravachanasār, samayasār, niyamasār, aṣhṭapāhuṛ ādi shāstroṅkī rachanā kī. is prakār dvitīy shrutaskandhakī utpatti huī. usamen mukhyatayā gnānakī pradhānatāpūrvak shuddhadravyārthik nayase kathan hai, ātmāke shuddha svarūpakā varṇan hai.

bhagavān kundakundāchāryadev vikram samvatake prārambhame hue haĩn. digambar jain paramparāmen bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevakā sthān sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa hai. ‘maṅgalan bhagavān vīro maṅgalan gautamo gaṇī. maṅgalan kundakundāryo jainadharmo‘stu maṅgalamm..’– yah shlok pratyek digambar jain shāstrapaṭhanake prārambhamen maṅgalācharaṇarūpase bolatā hai. isase siddha hotā hai ki sarvagna bhagavān shrī mahāvīrasvāmī aur gaṇadhar bhagavān shrī gautamasvāmīke pashchāt turta hī bhagavān kundakundāchāryakā sthān ātā hai. digambar jain sādhu apaneko kundakundāchāryakī paramparākā kahalānemen gaurav mānate haĩn. bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevake shāstra sākṣhāt gaṇadharadevake vachanon jitane hī pramāṇabhūt māne jāte haĩn. unake pashchāt honevāle granthakār āchārya apane kisī kathanako siddha karaneke liye kundakundāchāryadevake shāstroṅkā pramāṇ dete hain jisase vah kathan nirvivād siddha ho jātā hai. unake pashchāt likhe gaye granthommen unake shāstrommense bahut avataraṇ lie gaye haĩn. vāstavamen bhagavān kundakundāchāryane apane paramāgamommen tīrthaṅkaradevon dvārā prarūpit uttamottam siddhāntoṅko surakṣhit karake mokṣhamārgako sthir rakhā hai. vi0 san0 990 men honevāle shrī devasenāchāryavar apane darshanasār nāmak granthamen kahate hain ki ‘‘videhakṣhetrake vartamān tīrthaṅkar shrī sīmandharasvāmīke samavasaraṇamen jākar shrī padmanandināth (kundakundāchāryadev) ne svayam prāpta kiye hue gnān dvārā bodh na diyā hotā to munijan sachche mārgako kaise jānate?’’ ham ek dūsarā ullekh bhī dekhe, jisamen kundakundāchāryadevako kalikālasarvagna kahā gayā haiḥ ‘‘padmanandi, kundakundāchārya, vakragrīvāchārya, elāchārya, gr̥idhrapichchhāchārya – in pān̐ch nāmonse vibhūṣhit, jinhen chār aṅgul ūpar ākāshamen gaman karanekī r̥uddhi prāpta thī, jinhonne pūrva videhamen jākar sīmandharabhagavānakī vandanā kī thī aur unase prāpta hue shrutagnānake dvārā jinhonne bhāratavarṣhake bhavya jīvoṅko pratibodhit kiyā hai aise jo jinachandrasuribhaṭṭārakake paṭṭake ābharaṇarūp kalikālasarvagna (bhagavān kundakundāchāryadev) unake dvārā rache gaye is ṣhaṭprābhr̥ut granthamẽn.... sūrīshvar shrī shrutasāgar rachit mokṣhaprābhr̥utakī ṭīkā samāpta huī.’’ aisā ṣhaṭprābhr̥utakī shrī shrutasāgarasūrikr̥ut ṭīkāke antamen likhā hai. 1 bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevakī mahattā darashānevāle aise anekānek ullekh jain sāhityamen milate hain; shilālekh2 bhī anek haĩn. is prakār ham dekhate hain ki sanātan jain sampradāyamen kalikālasarvagna bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevakā sthān advitīy hai. ----------------------------------------------------- mūl shlokake liye dekhiye āge ‘bhagavān shrī kundakundāchāryadev sambandhī ullekh’. 1 bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevake videh gaman sambandhī ek ullekh (lagabhag vikram samvat kī terahavīn shatābdīmen honevāle) shrī jayasenāchāryane bhī kiyā hai. us ullekhake liye is shāstrake tīsare pr̥uṣhṭhakā padaṭippaṇ dekhe. 2 shilālekhoṅke liye dekhiye āge ‘bhagavān shrī kundakundāchāryadev sambandhī ullekh’.

bhagavān kundakundāchārya dvārā rachit anek shāstra hain, jinamense kuchh vartamānamen vidyamān haĩn. trilokanāth sarvagnadevake mukhase pravāhit shrutāmr̥ut saritāmense bhar liye gaye amr̥utabhājan āj bhī anek ātmārthiyoṅko ātmajīvan pradān kar rahe haĩn. unake samayasār, pravachanasār, niyamasār aur pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah nāmak uttamottam paramāgamommen hajāron shāstroṅkā sār ājātā hai. bhagavān kundakundāchāryake pashchāt likhe gaye anek granthoṅke bīj in paramāgamommen vidyamān hain aisā sūkṣhma draṣhṭise abhyās karane par gnāt hotā hai. shrī samayasār is bharatakṣhetrakā sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa paramāgam hai. usamen nav tattvoṅkā shuddhanayakī draṣhṭise nirūpaṇ karake jīvakā shuddha svarūp sarva prakārase–āgam, yukti, anubhav aur paramparāse–ati vistārapūrvak samajhāyā hai. shrī pravachanasāramen usake nāmānusār jinapravachanakā sār saṅgr̥uhit kiyā hai tathā use gnānatattva, gneyatattva aur charaṇānuyogake tīn adhikārommen vibhājit kar diyā hai. shrī niyamasāramen mokṣhamārgakā spaṣhṭa satyārtha nirūpaṇ hai. jis prakār samayasāramen shuddhanayase nav tattvonṅkā nirūpaṇ kiyā hai usī prakār niyamasāramen mukhyataḥ shuddhanayase jīv, ajīv, shuddhabhāv, pratikramaṇ, pratyākhyān, ālochanā, prāyashchit, samādhi, bhakti, āvashyak, shuddhopayog ādikā varṇan hai. shrī pañchāstikāyasaṅgrahamen kāl sahit pān̐ch astikāyoṅkā (arthāt chhah dravyoṅkā) aur nav padārthapūrvak mokṣhamārgakā nirūpaṇ hai.
is pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah paramāgamako prārambha karate hue shāstrakartāne ise ‘sarvagna mahāmunike mukhase kahe gaye padārthoṅkā pratipādak, chaturgatināshak aur nirvāṇakā kāraṇ’ kahā hai. isamen kahe gaye vastutattvakā sār is prakār haiḥ–
vishva arthāt anādi–anant svayansiddha sat aisī anantānanta vastuoṅkā samudāya. usameṅkī pratyek vastu anutpanna evan avināshī hai. pratyek vastumen anant shaktiyān̐ athavā guṇ hain, jo traikālik nitya hai. pratyek vastu pratikṣhaṇ apanemen apanā kārya karatī hone par bhī arthāt navīn dashāain– avasthāyen–paryāyen dhāraṇ karatī hain tathāpi ve paryāyen aisī maryādāmen rahakar hotī hain ki vastu apanī jātiko nahīn chhoṛatī arthāt usakī shaktiyommense ek bhī kam–adhik nahīn hotī. vastuoṅkī [– dravyoṅkī] bhinnabhinna shaktiyoṅkī apekṣhāse unakī [–dravyoṅkī] chhah jātiyān̐ haiḥ jīvadravya, pudgaladravya, dharmadravya, adharmadravya, ākāshadravya aur kāladravya. jisamen sadā gnān, darshan, chāritra, sukh ādi anant guṇ [–shaktiyān̐] ho vah jīvadravya hai; jisamen sadā varṇa, gandh, ras, sparsha ādi anant guṇ ho vah pudgaladravya hai; sheṣh chār dravyoṅke vishiṣhṭa guṇ anukramase gatihetutva, sthitihetutva, avagāhahetutva tathā vartanāhetutva haie. in chhah dravyommense pratham pān̐ch dravya sat honese tathā shakti athavā vyakti– apekṣhāse vishāl kṣhetravāle honese ‘astikāy’ hai; kāladravya ‘asti’ hai ‘kāy’ nahīn hai. jinendrake gnānadarpaṇamen jhalakate hue yah sarva dravya – anant jīvadravya, anantānanta pudgaladravya, ek dharmadravya, ek adharmadravya, ek ākāshadravya, tathā asaṅkhya kāladravya,–svayam paripūrṇa hain aur anya dravyonse bilakul svatantra hain; ve paramārthataḥ kabhī ek dūsarese milate nahīn hain, bhinna hī rahate haĩn. dev, manuṣhya, tiryaññcha, nārak, ekendriy, dvīndriy, ādi jīvommen jīv–pudgal māno mil gaye hon aisā lagatā hain kintu vāstavamen aisā nahīn hai. ve bilakul pr̥uthak haĩn. sarva jīv ananta gnānasukhakī nidhi hai tathāpi, par dvārā unhen kuchh sukhaduḥkh nahīn hotā tathāpi, sansārī agnānī jīv anādi kālase svataḥ agnānaparyāyarūp pariṇamit hokar apane gnānānandasvabhāvako, paripūrṇatāko, svātaṅkryako evan

astitvako bhī bhūl rahā hai aur par padārthoṅko sukhaduḥkhakā kāraṇ mānakar unake prati rāgadveṣh karatā rahatā hai; jīvake aise bhāvoṅke nimittase pudgal svataḥ gnānāvaraṇādikarmaparyāyarūp pariṇamit hokar jīvake sāth sanyogamen āte hain aur isaliye anādi kālase jīvako paudgalik dehakā sanyog hotā rahatā hai. parantu jīv aur dehake sanyogamen bhī jīv aur pudgal bilakul pr̥uthak hain tathā unake kārya bhī ek dūsarese bilakul bhinna evan nirapekṣha hain–– aisā jinendronne dekhā hai, samyaggnāniyone jānā hai aur anumānagamya bhī hai. jīv keval bhrāntike kāraṇ hī dehakī dashāse tathā iṣhṭa–aniṣhṭa par padārthonse apane ko sukhī duḥkhī mānatā hai. vāstavamen apane sukhaguṇakī vikārī paryāyarūp pariṇamit hokar vah anādi kālase duḥkhī ho rahā hai.
jīv dravya–guṇase sadā shuddha hone par bhī, vah paryāy–apekṣhāse shubhāshubhabhāvarūpamen, ānshikashuddhirūpamen, shuddhikī vr̥uddhirūpamen tathā pūrṇashuddhirūpamen pariṇamit hotā hai aur un bhāvoṅke nimittase shubhāshubh pudgalakarmoṅkā āsravaṇ evan bandhan tathā unakā rukanā, khiranā aur sarvathā chhūṭanā hotā hai. in bhāvoṅko samajhāneke liye jinendrabhagavantoane nav padārthohakā upadesh diyā hai. in nav padārthoṅko samyakrūpase samajhanepar, jīvako kyā hitarūp hai, kyā ahitarūp hai, shāshvat param hit pragaṭ karaneke liye jīvako kyā karanā chāhiye, par padārthoṅke sāth apanā kyā sambandha hai–ityādi bāte yathārtharūpase samajhamen ātī hai aur apanā sukh apanemen hī jānakar, apanī sarva paryāyomen bhī gnānānandasvabhāvī nij jīvadravyasāmānya sadā ekarūp jānakar, te anādi–aprāpta aise kalyāṇabīj samyagdarshanako tathā samyaggnānako prāpta karatā hai. unakī prāpti honepar jīv apaneko dravya–apekṣhāse kr̥utakr̥utya mānatā hai aur us kr̥utakr̥utya dravyakā paripūrṇa āshray karanese hī shāshvat sukhakī prāpti– mokṣha–hotī hai aisā samajhatā hai.
samyagdarshanakī prāpti hone par jīvako shuddhātmadravyakā jo alpa ālamban thayun ho jātā hai usase vr̥uddhi hone par kramashaḥ deshavirat shrāvakatva evan munitva prāpta hotā hai. shrāvakako tathā muniko shuddhātmadravyake madhyam ālambanarūp ānshik shuddhi hotī hai vah karmoṅke aṭakane khiranemen nimitta hotī hai aur jo ashuddhirūp ansh hotā hai vah shrāvakake deshavratādirūpase tathā munike mahāvratādirūpase dekhāī detā hai, jo karmabandhakā nimitta hotā hai. anukramase vah jīv gnānānandasvabhāvī shuddhātmadravyakā ati ugrarūpase avalamban karake, sarva vikalponse chhūṭakar, sarva rāgadveṣh rahit hokar, kevalagnānako prāpta karake, āyuṣhya pūrṇa hone par dehādisanyogase vimukta hokar, sadākāl paripūrṇa gnānadarshanarūpase aur atīndriy ananta avyābādh ānandarūpase rahatā hai.
–yah, bhagavān kundakundāchāryadevane pañchāstikāyasaṅgrah shāstramen param karuṇābuddhi–pūrvak prasiddha kiye gaye vastutattvakā saṅkṣhipta sār hai. isamen jo rīt batalāī hai usake atirikta anya kisī prakār jīv anādikālīn bhanyakar duḥkhase chhūṭ nahīn sakatā. jab tak jīv vastusvarūpako nahīn samajh pātā tab tak anya lākh prayatnonse bhī mokṣhakā upāy usake hāth nahīn lāgatā. isaliye is shāstramen sarva pratham pañchāstikāy aur nav padārthakā svarūp samajhāyā gayā hai jisase ki jīv vastusvarūpako samajhakar mokṣhamārgake mūlabhūt samyagdarshanako prāpta ho.

astikāyon aur padārthoṅke nirūpaṇake pashchāt shāstramen mokṣhamārgasūchak chūlikā hai. yah antim adhikār, shāstrarūpī mandir par ratnakalash bhān̐ti shobhā detā hai. adhyātmarasik ātmārthī jīvoṅkā yah ati priy adhikār hai. is adhikārakā rasāsvādan karate hue mānon unhen tr̥upti hī nahīn hotī. isamen mukhyataḥ vītarāg chāritrakā–svasamayakā–shuddhamunidashākā–pāramārthik mokṣhamārgakā bhāvavāhī madhur pratipādan hai, tathā muniko sarāg chāritrakī dashāmen ānshik shuddhike sāth sāth kaise shubh bhāvoṅkā sumel avashya hotā hī hai usakā bhī spaṣhṭa nirdesh hai. jinake hr̥udayamen vītarāgatākī bhāvanā kā manthan hotā rahatā hai aise shāstrakār aur ṭīkākār munīndronne is adhikāramen mānon shānt vītarāg rasakī saritā pravāhit kī hai. dhīr gambhīr gatise bahatī huī us shāntarasakī adhyātmagaṅgāmen snān karanese tattvajignāsu bhāvuk jīv shītalatābhībhūt hote hain aur unakā hr̥uday shānt–shānt hokar muniyoṅkī ātmānubhavamūlak sahajashuddha udāsīn dashāke prati bahumānapūrvak namit ho jātā hai. is adhikār par manan karanese supātra mumukṣhu jīvon ko samajhamen ātā hai ki ‘shuddhātmadravyake āshrayase sahaj dashākā ansh pragaṭ kiye binā mokṣhake upāyakā ansh bhī prāpta nahīn hotā.

is anuvādamen, ādaraṇīy vakīl shrīrāmajībhāī māṇekachand doshī tathā bālabrahmachārī bhāīshrī chandulāl khīmachand jhobāliyākī hārdik sahāyatā hai. ādaraṇīy shrī rāmajībhāīne apane vyasta dhārmik vyavasāyommense samay nikālakar samasta anuvādakī sukṣhmatāse jān̐chakī hai, yathochit sūchanāyen dī hai aur anuvādamen ānevālī chhoṭī–baṛī kaṭhināīyoṅkā apane vishāl shāstragnānase nirākaraṇ kiyā hai. unakī sūchanāen̐ mere liye ati upayogī siddha huī hai. bramhachārī bhāīshrī chandulālabhāīne samasta anuvādako ati sūkṣhmatāse jān̐chakar upayogī sūchanāain dī hai, bahut parīshramapūrvak hastalikhit pratiyoṅke ādhārase sanskr̥it ṭīkā sudhārī hai, anukramaṇikā, gāthāsūchī, shuddhipatra ādi taiyār kiye hain, tathā atyant sāvadhānīse ‘prūph’ sanshodhan kiyā hai––is prakār ati parishram evan sāvadhānīpūrvak sarvatomukhī sahāyatā kī haie. donon sajjanoṅkī sahāyatāke liye main unakā antaḥkaraṇapūrvak ābhār mānatā hū̃n. unakī hārdik sahāyatāke binā is anuvādamen anek truṭiyān̐ rah jātī. jin– jin ṭīkāon tathā shāstroṅkā maine ādhār liyā hai un sabake rachayitāoṅkā bhī main r̥uṇī hū̃n.
yah anuvād maine pañchāstikāyasaṅgrahake prati bhakti evan gurudevakī preraṇāse prerit hokar, nijakalyāṇake hetu , bhavabhayase ḍarate ḍarate kiyā hai . anuvād karate samay is bātakī maine sāvadhānī rakhī hai ki shāstrake mūl āshayommen koī parivartan na ho jāye. tathāpi alpagnatāke kāraṇ isamen kahī āshay–parivartanathayo huā ho yā bhūlo rah gaī ho to usake liye main shāstrakār shrī kundakundāchārya–bhagavān, ṭīkākār shrī amr̥utachandrāchāryadev, paramakr̥upālu shrī sadgurudev evan mumukṣhu pāṭhakonse hārdik kṣhamā yāchanā karatā hūn̐ .
jinendrashāsanakā saṅkṣhepamen pratipādan karanevāle is pavitra shāstrakā adhyayan karake yadi jīv isake āshayoṅko bhalībhān̐ti samajhale to vah avashyahī chār gatike anant duḥkhonakā nāsh karake nirvāṇako prāpta ho. isake āshayako samyak prakārase samajhaneke liye nimnokta bātoṅko lakṣhamen rakhanā āvashyak haiḥ– is shāstramen katipay kathan svāshrit nishchayanayake hain (–jo svakā parase pr̥uthakrūp nirūpaṇ karate hain) aur katipay kathan parāshrit vyavahāranayake hain (–jo svakā parake sāth mishritarūpase nirūpaṇ karate hain); tathā katipay kathan abhinnasādhyasādhan–bhāvāshrit nishchayanayake hain aur katipay bhinnasādhyasādhanabhāvashrit vyavahāranayake haĩn. vahān̐ nishchayakathanoṅkā to sīdhā hī artha karanā chahiye aur vyavahārakathanoṅkā abhūtārtha samajhakar unakā sachchā āshay kyā hai vah nikālanā chāhiye. yadi aisā na kiyā jāyagā to viparīt samajh honese mahā anartha hogā. ‘pratyek dravya svatantra hai. vah apane hī guṇaparyāyoṅko tathā utpādavyayadhrauvyako karatā hai. paradravyakā vah grahaṇ– tyāg nahīn kar sakatā tathā paradravya vāstavamen use kuchh lābh–hāni yā sahāy nahīn kar sakatā . ––jīvakī shuddha paryāy samvar–nirjarā–mokṣhake kāraṇabhūt hai aur ashuddha paryāy āsrav–bandhake kāraṇabhūt hai.’– aise mūlabhūt siddhāntoṅko kahīn bādhā na pahun̐che is prakār sadaiv shāstrake kathanoṅkā artha karanā chāhiye. punashcha is shāstramen kuchh paramaprayojanabhūt bhāvoṅkā nirūpaṇ ati saṅkṣhepamen hī kiyā gayā hai

vyavahār kā shraddhān chhoṛakar nishchayakā shraddhān karanā yogya hai. vyavahāranay svadravya aur paradravyako tathā unake bhāvoṅko tathā kāraṇ–kāryādi ko kisīko kisīmen milākar nirūpaṇ karatā hai, ataḥ aise hī shraddhān se mithyātva hai; isaliye usakā tyāg karanā. tathā nishchayanay unhīno yathāvat nirūpaṇ karatā hai, kisī ko kisī men nahīn milātā, ataḥ aise hī shraddhānase samyaktva hotā hai, isaliye usakā shraddhān karanā. prashnaḥ––––yadi aisā hai, to jinamārga men donon nayon ko grahaṇ karanā kahā hai––––vah kis prrakār kahā hai? uttaraḥ––––jinamārga men kahīn to nishchayanayakī mukhyatāse vyākhyān hai, use to ‘satyārtha aisā hī hai’ ––––aisā jānanā; tathā kahīn vyavahāranayakī mukhyatāse vyākhyān hai, use ‘aisā nahīn, nimittādikī apekṣhāse upachār kiyā hai’ aisā jānanā. is prakār jānanekā nām hī donon nayoṅkā grahaṇ hai. parantu donon nayoṅke vyākhyānako samān satyārtha jānakar ‘aisā bhī hai aur aisā bhī hai ’ aisā bhramarūp pravartanese to donon nayoṅkā grahaṇ karanā nahīn kahā hai.
prashnaḥ– yadi vyavahāranay asatyārtha hai, to usakā upadesh jinamārgamen kisaliye diyā? ek nishchayanayakā hī nirūpaṇ karanā thā?
uttaraḥ– aisā hī tarka shrī samayasāramen kiyā hai; vahān̐ yah uttar diyā haiḥ–
tah vavahāreṇ viṇā paramatthuvaesaṇamasakkan..
arthaḥ– jis prakār anāryako –mlechchhako mlechchhabhāṣhāke binā artha grahaṇ karānā shakya nahīn hai, usī prakār vyavahārake binā paramārthakā upadesh ashakya hai. isaliye vyavahārakā upadesh haie.
tathā isī sūtrakī vyākhyāmen aisā kahā hai ki – vyavahāranayo nānusartavyaḥ’ arthāt nishchayako aṅgīkār karāneke liyee vyavahār dvārā upadesh diyā jātā hai, parantu vyavahāranay hai vah aṅgīkār karane yogya nahīn hai.

uttaraḥ– [1] nishchayanayase to ātmā paradravyase bhinna, svabhāvonse abhinna svayansiddha vastu hai. use jo na pahichānee, unasee aisā hī kahate rahe to ve nahīn samajheṅge. isaliye unhen samajhāneke liye vyavahāranayase sharīrādik paradravyoṅkī sāpekṣhatā dvārā nar–nārak–pr̥ithvīkāyādirūp jīvake bhed kiye, tab ‘manuṣhya jīv hai,’ nārakī jīv hai’ ityādi prakārase unhen jīvakī pahichān huī; athavā abhed vastumen bhed utpanna karake gnān–darshanādi guṇaparyāyarūp jīvake bhed kiye, tab ‘jānanevālā jīv hai,’ ‘dekhanevālā jīv hai’ ityādi prakārase unhenn jīvakī pahichān huī. aur nishchayase to vītarāgabhāv mokṣhamārga hai; kintu use jo nahīn jānate, unasee aisā hī kahate rahen to ve nahīn samajheṅge ; isaliye unhen samajhāneke liye, vyavahāranayase tattvārthashraddhān gnānapūrvak paradravyakā nimitta miṭānekī sāpekṣhatā dvārā vrat–shīl–sanyamādirūp vītarāgabhāvake visheṣh darshāye, tab unhen vītarāgabhāvakī pahichān huī. isī prakār, anyatra bhī vyavahār binā nishchayakā upadesh na honā samajhanā.
[2] yahān̐ vyavahārase nar–nārakādi paryāyako hī jīv kahā. isaliye kahīn us paryāyako hī jīv na mān lenā. paryāy to jīv–pudgalake sanyogarūp hai. vahān̐ nishchayase jīvadravya prathak hai; usīko jīv mānanā. jīvake sanyogase sharīrādikako bhī jīv kahā vah kathanamātra hī hai. paramārthase sharīrādik jīv nahīn hote. aisā hī shraddhān karanā. ḍūsarabh, abhed ātmāmen gnān–darshanādi bhed kiye isaliye kahīn unhen bhedarūp hī na mān lenā; bhed to samajhāneke liye hai. nishchayase ātmā abhed hī hai; usīko jīvavastu mānanā. sañgnā–saṅkhyādi bhed kahe ve kathanamātra hī hai ; paramāthase ve pr̥uthak– pr̥uthak nahīn haĩn. aisā hī shraddhān karanā. punashcha, paradravyakā nimitta miṭānekī apekṣhāse vrat– shīl–sanyamādikako mokṣhamārga kahā isaliye kahīn unhīṅko mokṣhamārga na mān lenā; kyoṅki paradravyake grahaṇ–tyāg ātmāko ho to ātmā paradravyakā kartā–hartā ho jāye, kintu koī dravya kisī dravyake ādhīn nahīn haĩn. ātmā to apane bhāv jo rāgādik hai unhen chhoṛakar vītarāgī hotā hai, isaliye nishchayase vītarāgabhāv hī mokṣhamārga hai. vītarāgabhāvoṅko aur vratādikako kadāchit kāryakāraṇapanā hai isaliye vratādikako mokṣhamārga kahā kintu vah kathanamātra hī hai. paramārthase bāhyakriyā mokṣhamārga nahīn hai. aisā hī shraddhān karanā. isī prakār, anyatra bhī vyavahāranayako aṅgīkār na karanekā samajh lenā.
