karanemen donon nayommen virodh hai, tathāpi karen kyā? donon nayoṅkā sachchā svarūp to bhāsit huā nahīn
hai aur jinamatamen do nay kahe hain unamense kisīko chhoṛā bhī nahīn jātā. isaliye bhramapūrvak donon
nayokān sādhan sādhate haĩn. un jīvoṅko bhī mithyādraṣhṭi jānanā.
kahīn do hain nahīn, mokṣhamārgakā nirūpaṇ do prakārase hai. jahān̐n sachche mokṣhamārgako mokṣhamārga nirūpaṇ
kiyā hai vah nishchayamokṣhamārga hai, aur jahān̐nn mokṣhamārga to hai nahīn kintu mokṣhamārgakā nimitta haie athavā
sahachārī hai, use upachārase mokṣhamārga kahen vah vyavahāramokṣhamārga hai; kyoṅki nishchay–vyavahārakā sarvatra
aisā hī lakṣhaṇ hai. sachchā nirūpaṇ so nishchay, upachār nirūpaṇ so vyavahāra. isaliye nirūpaṇakī
apekṣhāse do prakāse mokṣhamārga jānanā. parantu ek nishchayamokṣhamārga hai tathā ek vyavahāramokṣhamārga hai is
prakār do mokṣhamārga mānanā mithyā hai.

‘jinakī vāṇī arthāt divyadhvani tīn lokako –ūrdhva–adho–madhya lokavartī samasta jīvasamuhako–
nirbādh vishuddha ātmatattvakī upalabdhikā upāy kahanevālī honese hitakar hai, paramārtharasik janoṅke
manako haranevālī honese madhur hai aur samasta shaṅkādi doṣhoṅke sthān dūr kar denese vishad [nirmal,
spaṣhṭa] hai’ ––– aisā kahakar [jinadev] samasta vastuke yathārtha svarūpake upadeshak honese
vichāravant buddhimān puruṣhoṅke bahumānake yogya hain [arthāt jinakā upadesh vichāravant buddhimān puruṣhoṅko
bahumānapūrvak vichāranā chāhiye aise hain] aisā kahā. ‘ananta–kṣhetrase anta rahit aur kālase anta
rahit–––paramachaitanyashaktike vilāsasvarūp guṇ jinako vartatā hai’ aisā kahakar [jinoṅko] param
adabhut gnānātishay pragaṭ honeke kāraṇ gnānātishayako prāpta yogandronse bhī vandya hai aisā kahā. ‘bhav
arthāt sansār par jinhonne vijay prāpta kī hai’ aisā kahakar kr̥utakr̥utyapanā pragaṭ ho jānese ve
hī [jin hī] anya akr̥utakr̥utya jīvoṅko sharaṇabhūt hain aisā upadesh diyā.– aisā sarva padoṅkā tātparya
hai.
kyoṅki devon tathā asurommen yuddha hotā hai isalie [devādhidev jinabhagavānake atirikta] anya koī bhī
dev sau indronse vandit nahīn hai. [2] dūsare, jinabhagavānakī vāṇī tīnalokako shuddha ātmasvarūpakī
prāptikā upāy darshātī hai isalie hitakar hai; vītarāg nirvikalpa samādhise utpanna sahaj –apūrva
paramānandarūp pāramārthik sukharasāsvādake rasik janoṅke manako haratī hai isalie [arthāt param
samarasībhāvake rasik jīvoṅko mudit karatī hai isalie] madhur hai;

isaprakār jinabhagavānakī vāṇī hī pramāṇabhūt hai; ekāntarūp apauruṣhey vachan yā vichitra kathārūp
kalpit purāṇavachan pramāṇabhūt nahīn hai. [3] tīsare, ananta dravya–kṣhetra–kāl–bhāvakā jānanevālā
ananta kevalagnānaguṇ jinabhagavantoṅko vartatā hai. isaprakār buddhi ādi sāt r̥uddhiyān̐ tathā
matignānādi chaturvidh gnānase sampanna gaṇadharadevādi yogandronse bhī ve vandya haĩn. [4] chauthe, pān̐ch prakārake
sansārako jinabhagavantonne jītā hai. isaprakār kr̥utakr̥utyapaneke kāraṇ ve hī anya akr̥utakr̥utya jīvoṅko
sharaṇabhūt hai, dūsarā koī nahī̃n.–

ātmanirvr̥uttāḥ. ananyamayatve‘pi teṣhāmastitvaniyatatvan nayaprayogāt. dvau hi nayau bhagavatā praṇītau–
dravyārthikaḥ paryāyārthikashcha. tatra na khalvekanayāyattādeshanā kintu tadubhayāyatā. tataḥ
paryāyārthādeshādastitve svataḥ kathañchidbhinna‘pi vyavasthitāḥ dravyārthādeshātsvayamev santaḥ sato‘nanyamayā
bhavantīti. kāyatvamapi teṣhāmaṇumahattvāt. aṇavo‘tra pradeshā mūrto‘mūrtāshcha nirvibhāgānshāstaiḥ
mahānto‘ṇumahāntaḥ pradeshaprachayātmakā iti siddhan teṣhān kāyatvam. aṇubhyā̃n. mahānta itiḥ vyatpattyā
ṭīkāḥ– yahān̐ [is gāthāmen] pān̐ch astikāyoṅkī visheṣhasañgnā, sāmānya visheṣh–astitva tathā
[jisaprakār bartanamen rahanevālā ghī bartanase anyamay hai usīprakār] astitvase anyamay nahīn hai;
kyoṅki ve sadaiv apanese niṣhpanna [arthāt apanese sat] honeke kāraṇ [astitvase] ananyamay hai
[jisaprakār agni uṣhṇatāse ananyamay hai usīprakār]. ‘astitvase ananyamay’ hone par bhī unakā
‘astitvamen niyatapanā’ nayaprayogase hai. bhagavānane do nay kahe hai – dravyārthik aur paryāyārthika. vahān̐
kathan ek nayake ādhīn nahīn hotā kintu un donon nayoṅke ādhīn hotā hai. isaliye ve
paryāyārthik kathanase jo apanese kathañchit bhinna bhī hai aise astitvamen vyavasthit [nishchit sthit] hain
aur dravyārthik kathanase svayamev sat [–vidyamān] honeke kāraṇ astitvase ananyamay haĩn.
