vaLI, ‘समन्तात् ज्वलतु’ kahyun chhe te sarva kShetre tathA sarva kALe prakAsh karavAnun jaNAve chhe; chandramA Avo nathI.
ahA! traN kAL traN lokane jANe evo AtmAno prakAsh chhe; jyAre chandrano prakAsh to thoDo kAL ane thoDA kShetramAn ja hoy chhe. A pramANe chandra sAthe bhagavAn AtmAnI upamA lAgu paDatI nathI.

shlokArtha– [यस्मात्] jenAthI (arthAt je parasanyogarUp bandhaparyAyajanit agnAnathI) [पुरा] pratham [स्व–परयोः द्वैतम् अभूत्] potAnun ane paranun dvait thayun (arthAt potAnA ane paranA bheLaseLapaNArUp bhAv thayo), [यतः अत्र अन्तरं भूतं] dvaitapaNun thatAn jenAthI svarUpamAn antar paDayun (arthAt bandhaparyAy ja potArUp jaNAyo, [यतः राग–द्वेष–परिग्रहे सति] svarUpamAn antar paDatAn jenAthI rAgadveShanun grahaN thayun, [क्रिया–कारकैः जातं] rAgadveShanun grahaN thatAn jenAthI kriyAnA kArako utpanna thayA (arthAt kriyAno ane kartA–karma Adi kArakono bhed paDayo), [यतः च अनुभूतिः क्रियायाः अखिलं फलं भुञ्जाना खिन्ना] kArako utpanna thatAn jenAthI anubhUti kriyAnA samasta phaLane bhogavatI thakI khinna thaI (–khed pAmI), [तत् विज्ञान–घन–ओघ–मग्नम्] te agnAn have vignAnaghananA oghamAn magna thayun (arthAt gnAnarUpe pariNamyun) [अधुना किल किञ्चित् न किञ्चित्] tethI have te badhun kharekhar kAI ja nathI.
bhAvArtha– parasanyogathI gnAn ja agnAnarUpe pariNamyun hatun, agnAn kAI judI vastu nahotI; mATe have jyAn te gnAnarUpe pariNamyun tyAn te (agnAn) kAI ja na rahyun, agnAnanA nimitte rAg, dveSh, kriyAnun kartApaNun, kriyAnA phaLanun (–sukhadukhanun) bhoktApaNun ityAdi bhAvo thatA hatA te paN vilay pAmyA; ek gnAn ja rahI gayun. mATe have AtmA sva–paranA traNakALavartI bhAvone gnAtA–draShTA thaIne jANyA–dekhyA ja karo. 277.
