atra śrāmaṇyaparyāyasahakārikāraṇatvenāpratiṣidhyamāne‘tyantamupāttedehe‘pi paradravyatvāt parigraho‘yaṁ na nāmānugrahārhaḥ kintūpekṣya evetyapratikarmatvamupadiṣṭavanto bhagavanto‘rhaddevāḥ . ath tatra śuddhātmatattvopalambhasambhāvanarasikasya puṁsaḥ śeṣo‘nyo‘nupāttaḥ parigraho varākaḥ kiṁ nām syāditi vyakta ev hi teṣāmākūtaḥ . ato‘vadhāryate utsarga ev vastudharmo, na punarapavādaḥ . idamatra tātparyaṁ, vastudharmatvātparamanairgranthyamevāvalambyam ..224.. ṇippaḍikammattamuddiṭṭhā niḥpratikarmatvamupadiṣṭavantaḥ . śuddhopayogalakṣaṇaparamopekṣāsaṁyamabalen dehe‘pi niḥpratikāritvaṁ kathitavanta iti. tato jñāyate mokṣasukhābhilāṣiṇāṁ niścayen dehādisarvasaṅgaparityāg evocito‘nyastūpacār eveti ..224.. evamapavādavyākhyānarūpeṇ dvitīyasthale gāthātrayaṁ gatam . athaikādaśagāthāparyantaṁ strīnirvāṇanirākaraṇamukhyatven vyākhyānaṁ karoti . tadyathā — śvetāmbaramatānusārī śiṣyaḥ pūrvapakṣaṁ karoti —
anvayārtha : — [ath ] jab ki [jinavarendrāḥ ] jinavarendroṁne [apunarbhavakāminaḥ ] mokṣābhilāṣīke, [saṁgaḥ iti ] ‘deh parigrah hai’ aisā kahakar [dehe api ] dehameṁ bhī [apratikarmatvam ] apratikarmapanā (saṁskārarahitapanā) [uddiṣṭavantaḥ ] kahā (upadeśā) hai, tab [kiṁ kiṁcanam iti tarkaḥ ] unakā yah (spaṣṭa) āśay hai ki usake anya parigrah to kaise ho sakatā hai ?..224..
ṭīkā : — yahān̐, śrāmaṇyaparyāyakā sahakārī kāraṇ honese jisakā niṣedh nahīṁ kiyā gayā hai aise atyanta 1upātta śarīrameṁ bhī, ‘yah (śarīr) paradravya honese parigrah hai, vāstavameṁ yah anugrahayogya nahīṁ, kintu upekṣā yogya hī hai’ aisā kahakar, bhagavanta arhaṁntadevoṁne apratikarmapanekā upadeś diyā hai, tab phi ra vahān̐ śuddhātmatattvopalabdhikī saṁbhāvanāke rasik puruṣoṁke śeṣ anya āśay vyakta hī hai . isase niścit hotā hai ki — utsarga hī vastudharma hai, apavād nahīṁ .
