vantaḥ pravishantyapi tiṣhṭhantyapi gachchhantyapi cha . asti chejjīvasya moharāgadveṣharūpo bhāvo badhyante‘pi cha . tato‘vadhāryate dravyabandhasya bhāvabandho hetuḥ ..178..
yato rāgapariṇat evābhinaven dravyakarmaṇā badhyate, na vairāgyapariṇataḥ; abhinaven lakṣhaṇayogānusāreṇ yathāyogyam . na kevalan pravishanti chiṭṭhanti hi praveshānantaran svakīyasthitikālaparyantan tiṣhṭhanti hi sphu ṭam . na kevalan tiṣhṭhanti janti svakīyodayakālan prāpya phalan datvā gachchhanti, bajjhanti kevalagnānādyanantachatuṣhṭayavyaktirūpamokṣhapratipakṣhabhūtabandhasya kāraṇan rāgādikan labdhvā punarapi dravyabandha- rūpeṇ badhyante cha . at etadāyātan rāgādipariṇām ev dravyabandhakāraṇamiti . athavā dvitīy- vyākhyānam — pravishanti pradeshabandhāstiṣhṭhanti sthitibandhāḥ phalan datvā gachchhantyanubhāgabandhā badhyante prakr̥u tibandhā iti ..178.. evan trividhabandhamukhyatayā sūtradvayen tr̥utīyasthalan gatam . ath dravya- bandhakāraṇatvānnishchayen rāgādivikalparūpo bhāvabandha ev bandha iti pragnāpayati — ratto bandhadi kamman rakto prakārase hotā hai, us prakārase karmapudgalake samūh svayamev parispandavāle hote hue pravesh bhī karate hain, rahate bhī hain, aur jāte bhī hain; aur yadi jīvake moh – rāg – dveṣharūp bhāv hon to bandhate bhī hain . isaliye nishchit hotā hai ki dravyabandhakā hetu bhāvabandh hai ..178..
ab, aisā siddha karate hain ki — rāg pariṇāmamātra jo bhāvabandh hai so dravyabandhakā hetu honese vahī nishchayabandha hai : —
anvayārtha : — [raktaḥ ] rāgī ātmā [karma badhnāti ] karma bān̐dhatā hai, [rāgarahitātmā ] rāgarahit ātmā [karmabhiḥ muchyate ] karmonse mukta hotā hai; — [eṣhaḥ ] yah [jīvānān ] jīvoṅke [bandhasamāsaḥ ] bandhakā saṅkṣhep [nishchayataḥ ] nishchayase [jānīhi ] jāno ..179..
ṭīkā : — rāgapariṇat jīv hī navīn dravyakarmase ban̐dhatā hai, vairāgyapariṇat nahīn ban̐dhatā;
