yo hi nāmāpratiṣhiddho‘sminnupadhirapavādaḥ, sa khalu nikhilo‘pi shrāmaṇyaparyāy- sahakārikāraṇatvenopakārakārakatvādupakaraṇabhūt ev, na punaranyaḥ . tasya tu visheṣhāḥ sarvāhārya- varjitasahajarūpāpekṣhitayathājātarūpatven bahiraṅgaliṅgabhūtāḥ kāyapudgalāḥ, shrūyamāṇatatkālabodhak- puruṣhāṇān kin na bhavantīti chet . evan na vaktavyan, strīṣhu bāhulyen bhavanti . na chāstitvamātreṇ samānatvam . ekasya viṣhakaṇikāsti, dvitīyasya cha viṣhaparvato‘sti, kin samānatvan bhavati . kintu puruṣhāṇān prathamasanhananabalen doṣhavināshako muktiyogyavisheṣhasanyamo‘sti . tāsin kah sañjamo hodi tataḥ kāraṇāttāsān kathan sanyamo bhavatīti ..“26.. ath strīṇān tadbhavamuktiyogyān sakalakarmanirjarān niṣhedhayati —
jadi dansaṇeṇ suddhā yadyapi darshanen samyaktven shuddhā, suttajjhayaṇe chāvi sañjuttā ekādashāṅga- sūtrādhyayanenāpi sanyuktā, ghoran charadi va chariyan ghoran pakṣhopavāsamāsopavāsādi charati vā chāritran, itthissa ṇa ṇijjarā bhaṇidā tathāpi strījanasya tadbhavakarmakṣhayayogyā sakalanirjarā na bhaṇiteti bhāvaḥ . kiñch yathā prathamasanhananābhāvātstrī saptamanarakan na gachchhati, tathā nirvāṇamapi . ‘‘pumvedan vedantā purisā je khavagaseḍhimārūḍhā . sesodayeṇ vi tahā jhāṇuvajuttā ya te du sijjhanti’’ iti gāthākathitārthābhiprāyeṇ bhāvastrīṇān kathan nirvāṇamiti chet . tāsān bhāvastrīṇān prathamasanhananamasti, dravyastrīvedābhāvāttadbhavamokṣha- pariṇāmapratibandhakatīvrakāmodreko‘pi nāsti . dravyastrīṇān prathamasanhananan nāstīti kasminnāgame kathitamāsta iti chet . tatrodāharaṇagāthā – ‘‘antimatigasaṅghaḍaṇan ṇiyameṇ ya kammabhūmimahilāṇan . ādimatigasaṅghaḍaṇan ṇatthi tti jiṇehin ṇiddiṭṭhan’’.. ath matam – yadi mokṣho nāsti tarhi bhavadīyamate kimarthamarjikānān mahāvratāropaṇam . parihāramāh – tadupachāreṇ kulavyavasthānimittam . na chopachāraḥ sākṣhādbhavitumarhati, agnivat krūro‘yan devadatta ityādivat . tathāchoktam – mukhyābhāve sati prayojane nimitte chopachāraḥ pravartate . kintu yadi tadbhave mokṣho bhavati strīṇān tarhi shatavarṣhadīkṣhitāyā arjikāyā adyadine dīkṣhitaḥ sādhuḥ kathan vandyo bhavati . saiv prathamataḥ kin na vandyā bhavati sādhoḥ . kintu bhavanmate
ṭīkā : — isamen jo aniṣhiddha upadhi apavād hai, vah sabhī vāstavamen aisā hī hai ki jo shrāmaṇyaparyāyake sahakārī kāraṇake rūpamen upakār karanevālā honese upakaraṇabhūt hai, dūsarā nahīn . usake visheṣh (bhed) isaprakār hain : — (1) sarva āhārya rahit sahajarūpase apekṣhit (sarva āhārya rahit) yathājātarūpapaneke kāraṇ jo bahiraṅg liṅgabhūt hain aise
