evamvidhāhārasevanavyaktāntarashuddhitvānna cha yuktasya . arasāpekṣha evāhāro yuktāhāraḥ, tasyaivāntaḥ- shuddhisundaratvāt . rasāpekṣhastu antarashuddhayā prasahya hinsāyatanīkriyamāṇo na yuktaḥ, antar- shuddhisevakatven na cha yuktasya . amadhumāns evāhāro yuktāhāraḥ, tasyaivāhinsāyatanatvāt . samadhumānsastu hinsāyatanatvānna yuktaḥ, evamvidhāhārasevanavyaktāntarashuddhitvānna cha yuktasya . madhumānsamatra hinsāyatanopalakṣhaṇan, ten samastahinsāyatanashūnya evāhāro yuktāhāraḥ..229.. vikalpopādhirahitā yā tu nishchayanayenāhinsā, tatsādhakarūpā bahiraṅgaparajīvaprāṇavyaparopaṇanivr̥uttirūpā dravyāhinsā cha, sā dvividhāpi tatra yuktāhāre sambhavati . yastu tadviparītaḥ sa yuktāhāro na bhavati . kasmāditi chet . tadvilakṣhaṇabhūtāyā dravyabhāvarūpāyā hinsāyāḥ sadbhāvāditi ..229.. ath visheṣheṇ mānsadūṣhaṇan kathayati —
bhikṣhācharaṇase āhār hī yuktāhār hai, kyoṅki vahī ārambhashūnya hai . (1) abhikṣhācharaṇase (-bhikṣhācharaṇ rahit) jo āhār usamen ārambhakā sambhav honese hinsāyatanapanā prasiddha hai, ataḥ vah āhār yukta (-yogya) nahīn hai; aur (2) aise āhārake sevanamen (sevan karanevālekī) antaraṅg ashuddhi vyakta (-pragaṭ) honese vah āhār yukta (yogī) kā nahīn hai .
dinakā āhār hī yuktāhār hai, kyoṅki vahī samyak (barābar) dekhā jā sakatā hai . (1) adivas (dinake atirikta samayamen) āhār to samyak nahīn dekhā jā sakatā, isaliye usake hinsāyatanapanā anivārya honese vah āhār yukta (-yogya) nahīn hai; aur (2) aise āhārake sevanamen antaraṅg ashuddhi vyakta honese āhār yukta (-yogī) kā nahīn hai .
rasakī apekṣhāse rahit āhār hī yuktāhār hai . kyoṅki vahī antaraṅg shuddhise sundar hai . (1) rasakī apekṣhāvālā āhār to antaraṅg ashuddhi dvārā atyantarūpase hinsāyatan kiyā jāneke kāraṇ yukta (-yogya) nahīn hai; aur (2) usakā sevan karanevālā antaraṅg ashuddhi pūrvak sevan karatā hai isaliye vah āhār yukta (-yogī) kā nahīn hai .
madhu – māns rahit āhār hī yuktāhār hai, kyoṅki usīke hinsāyatanapanekā abhāv hai . (1) madhu – māns sahit āhār to hinsāyatan honese yukta (-yogya) nahīn hai; aur (2) aise āhārase sevanamen antaraṅg ashuddhi vyakta honese vah āhār yukta (-yogī) kā nahīn hai . yahān̐ madhu – māns hinsāyatanakā upalakṣhaṇ hai isaliye (‘madhu – māns rahit āhār yuktāhār hai’ is kathanase aisā samajhanā chāhiye ki) samasta hinsāyatanashūnya āhār hī yuktāhār hai ..229..
