vedodaye vidyamāne‘pi mandamohodayen strīviṣhayabādhā nāsti, tathā bhagavatyasadvedyodaye vidyamāne‘pi niravasheṣhamohābhāvāt kṣhudhābādhā nāsti . yadi punaruchyate bhavadbhi ::::: — mithyādr̥uṣhṭayādisayog- kevaliparyantāstrayodashaguṇasthānavartino jīvā āhārakā bhavantītyāhārakamārgaṇāyāmāgame bhaṇitamāste, tataḥ kāraṇāt kevalināmāhāro‘stīti . tadapyayuktam . ‘‘ṇokamma -kammahāro kavalāhāro ya leppamāhāro . ojamaṇo vi ya kamaso āhāro chhavviho ṇeyo’’ .. iti gāthākathitakrameṇ yadyapi ṣhaṭprakār āhāro bhavati tathāpi nokarmāhārāpekṣhayā kevalināmāhārakatvamavaboddhavyam . na cha kavalāhārāpekṣhayā . tathāhi — sūkṣhmāḥ surasāḥ sugandhā anyamanujānāmasambhavinaḥ kavalāhāran vināpi kiñchidūnapūrvakoṭiparyantan sharīrasthitihetavaḥ saptadhāturahitaparamaudārikasharīranokarmāhārayogyā lābhānta- rāyakarmaniravasheṣhakṣhayāt pratikṣhaṇan pudgalā āsravantīti navakevalalabdhivyākhyānakāle bhaṇitan tiṣhṭhati . tato gnāyate nokarmāhārāpekṣhayā kevalināmāhārakatvam . ath matam – bhavadīyakalpanayā āhārānāhārakatvan nokarmāhārāpekṣhayā, na cha kavalāhārāpekṣhayā cheti kathan gnāyate . naivam . ‘‘ekan dvau trīn vānāhārakaḥ’’ iti tattvārthe kathitamāste . asya sūtrasyārthaḥ kathyate — bhavāntaragamanakāle vigrahagatau sharīrābhāve sati nūtanasharīradhāraṇārthan trayāṇān sharīrāṇān ṣhaṇṇān paryāptīnān yogyapudgalapiṇḍagrahaṇan nokarmāhār uchyate . sa cha vigrahagatau karmāhāre vidyamāne‘pyekadvitrisamayaparyantan nāsti . tato nokarmāhārāpekṣhayā‘‘hārā- nāhārakatvamāgame gnāyate . yadi punaḥ kavalāhārāpekṣhayā tarhi bhojanakālan vihāy sarvadaivānāhārak ev, samayatrayaniyamo na ghaṭate . ath matam – kevalinān kavalāhāro‘sti manuṣhyatvāt vartamānamanuṣhyavat . tadapyayukta m . tarhi pūrvakālapuruṣhāṇān sarvagnatvan nāsti, rāmarāvaṇādipuruṣhāṇān cha visheṣhasāmarthyan nāsti vartamānamanuṣhyavat . na cha tathā . kiñch chhadmasthatapodhanā api saptadhāturahitaparamaudārikasharīrābhāve ‘chhaṭṭho tti paḍhamasaṇṇā’ iti vachanāt pramattasanyataṣhaṣhṭhaguṇasthānavartino yadyapyāhāran gr̥uhṇanti tathāpi gnānasanyam- dhyānasiddhayarthan, na cha dehamamatvārtham . uktan cha — ‘‘kāyasthityarthamāhāraḥ kāyo gnānārthamiṣhyate . gnānan karmavināshāy tannāshe paraman sukham’’ .. ‘‘ṇa balāusāhaṇaṭṭhan ṇa sarīrassa ya chayaṭṭha tejaṭṭhan . ṇāṇaṭṭha sañjamaṭṭhan jhāṇaṭṭhan chev bhuñjanti ..’’ tasya bhagavato gnānasanyamadhyānādiguṇāḥ svabhāvenaiv tiṣhṭhanti na chāhārabalen . yadi punardehamamatvenāhāran gr̥uhṇāti tarhi chhadmasthebhyo‘pyasau hīnaḥ prāpnoti . athochyate — tasyātishayavisheṣhātprakaṭā bhuktirnāsti prachchhannā vidyate . tarhi paramaudārikasharīratvādbhuktirev nāstyayamevātishayaḥ kin na bhavati . tatra tu prachchhannabhuktau māyāsthānan dainyavr̥uttiḥ, anye‘pi piṇḍashuddhikathitā doṣhā bahavo bhavanti . te chānyatra tarkashāstre gnātavyāḥ . atra
anvayārtha : — [kevalagnāninaḥ ] kevalagnānīke [dehagatan ] sharīrasambandhī [saukhyan ] sukh [vā punaḥ duḥkhan ] yā duḥkh [nāsti ] nahīn hai, [yasmāt ] kyoṅki [atīndriyatvan jātan ] atīndriyatā utpanna huī hai [tasmāt tu tat gneyam ] isaliye aisā jānanā chāhiye ..20..
