‘दर्शनपूताः’ दर्शनेन पूताः पवित्रिताः । दर्शनं वा पूतं पवित्रं येषां ते । ‘भवन्ति’ । ‘मानवतिलकाः’ मानवानां मनुष्याणां तिलका मण्डनीभूता मनुष्यप्रधाना इत्यर्थः । पुनरपि कथंभूता इत्याह ‘ओज’ इत्यादि ओज उत्साहः तेजः प्रतापः कान्तिर्वा, विद्या सहजा अहार्या च बुद्धिः, वीर्यं विशिष्टं सामर्थ्यं, यशो विशिष्टा ख्यातिः वृद्धिः कलत्रपुत्रपौत्रादिसम्पत्तिः, विजयः पराभिभवेनात्मनो गुणोत्कर्षंः, विभवो vishiṣhṭa bhedagnānanā baḷathī narakagatinā kāraṇabhūt tīvra saṅkalesh pariṇāmono abhāv hoy chhe.’’ 35

धनधान्यद्रव्यादिसम्पत्तिः, एतैः सनाथा सहिताः । तथा ‘माहाकुला’ महच्च तत् कुलं च माहाकुलं तत्र भवाः । ‘महार्था’ महान्तोऽर्था धर्मार्थकाममोक्षलक्षणा येषाम् ।।३६।। ‘विभवः’ dhan, dhānya, dravyādi sampatti – e sarvathī yukta chhe jeo evā tathā ‘माहाकुलाः’ jeo uchcha kuḷamān utpanna thāy chhe evā ane ‘महार्थाः’ jemane dharma, artha, kām ane mokṣharūp mahān artho sādhya chhe evā (arthāt jeo dharma, artha, kām ane mokṣhanā sādhak chhe evā) — samyagdraṣhṭi jīvo manuṣhyanā tilak thāy chhe.
bhāvārtha : — shuddha samyagdraṣhṭi jīvo (marīne) utsāh, pratāp, kānti, baḷ, vidyā, kīrti, unnati, vijay ane sampatti sahit uchcha kuḷavān ane dharma – arthādi puruṣhārthonā sādhak manuṣhyonā shiromaṇi – rājā thāy chhe.
samyagdraṣhṭine shuddhatānī sāthe sahachararūpe shubhabhāv paṇ hoy chhe. te shubhabhāvane ahīn vyavahāradharma samajavo. tenā phaḷarūpe tene lakṣhmī vagereno sanyog thāy chhe, parantu tene puṇyabhāvanun ke tenā phaḷarūp sanyogī padārthanun svāmitva hotun nathī, shraddhāmān – abhiprāyamān teno svīkār nathī.
chāritranī nabaḷāīnā kāraṇe tenun sanyogī padārtha taraph lakṣha jāy chhe, parantu te sanyogī bhāvanī sāthe paṇ te ekatā karato nathī, tethī mokṣhano puruṣhārtha chālu rākhī, te badhāno abhāv karī mokṣha prāpta kare chhe. tenun nām dharma – artha – kām ane mokṣhano puruṣhārtha chhe em samajavun. ā draṣhṭie ja samyagdraṣhṭi jīvone ‘माहार्थाः’ arthāt dharma – artha – kām ane mokṣhanā sādhak kahyā chhe.
jem kheḍūt anāj māṭe khetī kare chhe, parantu tene anāj sāthe anāyāse khaḍanī (ghāsanī) paṇ prāpti thāy chhe, tem samyagdraṣhṭine mokṣha māṭe puruṣhārtha vachche sahajapaṇe – anāyāse chakravartīpadādi puṇyanī sāmagrī maḷyā vagar rahetī nathī. कथंभूताः ? अष्टगुणपुष्टितुष्टाः’ अष्टगुणा अणिमा, महिमा, लघिमा, प्राप्ति, प्राकाम्यं, ईशित्वं, वशित्वं, कामरूपित्वमितल्लक्षणास्ते च पुष्टिः स्वशरीरावयवानां सर्वदोषचितत्वं तेषां वा पुष्टिः परिपूर्णत्वं तया तुष्टाः सर्वदा प्रमुदिताः । तथा ‘प्रकृष्टशोभाजुष्टा’ इतरदेवेभ्यः प्रकृष्टा उत्तमा शोभा तया जुष्टा सेविताः इन्द्राः सन्त इत्यर्थः ।।३७।।
तथा चक्रवर्तीत्वमपि त एव प्राप्नुवन्तीत्याह —
नवनिधिसप्तद्वयरत्नाधीशाः सर्वभूमिपतयश्चक्रम् ।
वर्तयितुं प्रभवन्ति स्पष्टदृशः क्षत्रमौलिशेखरचरणाः ।।३८।। ‘रमन्ते’ rame chhe – krīḍā kare chhe. kevā thaīne? ‘अष्टगुणपुष्टितुष्टाः’ āṭh guṇo – arthāt aṇimā, mahimā, laghimā, prāpti, prākāmya, ishitva, vashitva ane kāmarupitva — e rūp āṭh r̥̄iddhio – temanī pūrṇatāthī santuṣhṭa arthāt sarvadā pramudit (ānandit) athavā te āṭh r̥̄iddhio rūp guṇothī temanā sharīranā avayavonī sarvadā puṣhṭi – vr̥uddhi thāy chhe, tenāthī sadā santuṣhṭa tathā ‘प्रकृष्टशोभाजुष्टाः’ bījā devonā karatān utkr̥uṣhṭa – uttam shobhāyukta thaīne arthāt anya devothī sevit indro thaīne.
bhāvārtha : — samyagdraṣhṭi jīv mr̥utyu pachhī svargamān indra paṇ thāy chhe. tyān aṇimādi āṭh r̥̄iddhionī pūrṇatāthī ānandit thaī visheṣh sundar vaikriyik sharīr prāpta karī, dev ane apsarāonī sabhāmān lāmbā samay sudhī rame chhe ane anya devo tenī sevā kare chhe.
ā gāthā sūchave chhe ke samyaktvanī bhūmikāmān heyabuddhie karelā shubh bhāvonā phaḷarūpe uparokta darshāvelī aṇimādi āṭh r̥̄iddhionī prāpti thāy chhe. sarve samyagdraṣhṭio jinendranā bhakto hoy chhe. 37.

ये ‘स्पष्टदृशो’ निर्मलसम्यक्त्वाः । त एव ‘चक्रं’ चक्ररत्नं । ‘वर्तयितुं’ आत्माधीनतया तत्साध्यनिखिलकार्येषु प्रवर्तयितुं । ‘प्रभवन्ति’ ते समर्था भवन्ति । कथंभूताः ? सर्वभूमिपतयः सर्वा चासौ भूमिश्च षट्खण्डपृथ्वी तस्याः पतयः चक्रवर्तिनः । पुनरपि कथंभूताः ? ‘नवनिधिसप्तद्वयरत्नाधीशा’ नवनिधयश्च सप्तद्वयरत्नानि सप्तानां द्वयं तेन संख्यातानि रत्नानि चतुर्दश तेषामधीशाः स्वामिनः । क्षत्रमौलिशेखरचरणाः क्षताद्दोषात् त्रायन्ते रक्षन्ति प्राणिनो ये ते क्षत्रा राजानस्तेषां मौलयो१ मुकुटानि तेषु शेखरा आपीठास्तेषु चरणानि येषां ।।३८।। [क्षत्रमौलिशेखरचरणाः ] jemanān charaṇone rājāonā mugaṭanī kalagīo sparshe chhe arthāt jemanā charaṇomān rājāonān mastako jhūke chhe evā [सर्वभूमिपतयः ] samasta bhūminā (chha khaṇḍanā) mālik thayā thakā (arthāt chakravartī thayā thakā) [चक्रम् ] chakra (arthāt āgnā) [वर्तयितुम् ] vartāvavāne (chalāvavāne) [प्रभवन्ति ] samartha thāy chhe.

तथा धर्मचक्रिणोऽपि सद्दर्शनमाहात्म्याद् भवन्तीत्याह —
‘दृष्टया’ सम्यग्दर्शनमाहात्म्येन । ‘वृषचक्रधरा भवन्ति’ वृषो धर्मः तस्य चक्रं वृषचक्रं तद्धरन्ति ये ते वृषचक्रधरास्तीर्थकराः । किंविशिष्टाः ? ‘नूतपादाम्भोजाः’ पादावैवाम्भोजे, नूते स्तुते पादाम्भोजे येषां । कैः ? ‘अमरासुरनरपतिभिः’ अमरपतयः ऊर्ध्वलोकस्वामिनः सौधर्मादयः, असुरपतयोऽधोलोकस्वामिनो धरणेन्द्रादयः, नरपतयः तिर्यग्लोकस्वामि- नश्चक्रवर्तिनः । न केवलमेतैरेव नूतपादाम्भोजा, किन्तु ‘यमधरपतिभिश्च’ यमं व्रतं धरन्ति ये ते यमधरा मुनयस्तेषां पतयो गणधरास्तैश्च । पुनरपि कथंभूतास्ते ? ‘सुनिश्चितार्था’ शोभनो
anvayārtha : — [दृष्टया ] jīv samyagdarshananā māhātmyathī [अमरसुरनरपतिभिः ] devendra, dharaṇendra ane chakravartī dvārā [च ] tem ja [यमधरपतिभिः ] munionā svāmī gaṇadharo dvārā [नूतपादाम्भोजाः ] jemanān charaṇakamaḷonī stuti karavāmān āve chhe evā, [सुनिश्चितार्थाः ] jemane dharmādi padārthono sārī rīte (sampūrṇapaṇe) nishchay thayo chhe evā tathā [लोकशरण्याः ] traṇ lokanā sharaṇabhūt evā [वृषचक्रधराः ] dharmachakranā dhārak tīrthaṅkaro [भवन्ति ] thāy chhe.

निश्चितः परिसमाप्ति गतोऽर्थो धर्मादिलक्षणो येषां । तथा ‘लोकशरण्याः’ अनेकविध- दुःखदायिभिः कर्मारातिभिरुपद्रुतानां लोकानां शरणे साधवः ।।३९।।
तथा मोक्षप्राप्तिरपि सम्यग्दर्शनशुद्धानामेव भवतीत्याह —
vaḷī teo kevā chhe? ‘सुनिश्चितार्थाः’ jemane dharmādirūp artha sārī rīte nishchit thayo chhe arthāt parisamāptie (pūrṇatāe) pāmyo chhe, (arthāt jemane dharmādi padārthono samyak prakāre sampūrṇapaṇe nishchay thayo chhe – shraddhān thayun chhe) tevā tathā ‘लोकशरण्याः’ anek prakāranā duḥkhadāyī karma – shatruo dvārā upadrav pāmelā lokonā jeo sharaṇabhūt chhe evā.
bhāvārtha : — samyagdraṣhṭi jīv mr̥utyu bād samyaktvanā māhātmyathī devendra, dharaṇendra, chakravartī tathā gaṇadharo dvārā pūjanīy thāy chhe tathā traṇ lokanā sharaṇabhūt, dharmachakranā dhārak tīrthaṅkar paṇ thāy chhe.
tīrthaṅkaradev traṇ lokanā adhipatio dvārā pūjanīy chhe – e batāve chhe ke traṇ lokamān tīrthaṅkaradevanun puṇya – phaḷ sauthī utkr̥uṣhṭa chhe. vaḷī gnānīo ane tyāgīomān gaṇadhar sauthī moṭā chhe, teo paṇ shrotāonī koṭimān besī dharma shravaṇ kare chhe, te batāve chhe ke dharmamān paṇ tīrthaṅkaradev sauthī uttam chhe. vihārakāḷe temanī mahattāsūchak ek dharmachakra tīrthaṅkar bhagavānanī āgaḷ chāle chhe.
ā pramāṇe traṇ lokanā rājā – mahārājāo, indro, gnānīo, tyāgīo, dharmātmāo – sarve jemane pūje chhe, jemanun sharaṇ le chhe – evā sāmarthyashāḷī alaukik puruṣh – tīrthaṅkaradev – samyagdarshananā ja māhātmyathī thāy chhe. 39.
tathā mokṣhanī prāpti paṇ shuddha samyagdraṣhṭine ja thāy chhe te kahe chhe —
anvayārtha : — [दर्शनशरणाः ] samyagdarshan jemanun sharaṇ chhe evā jīvo [अजरम् ] ghaḍapaṇarahit, [अरुजम् ] rogarahit, [अक्षयम् ] kṣhayarahit, [अव्याबाधम् ]

‘दर्शनशरणाः’ दर्शनं शरणं१ संसारापायपरिरक्षकं येषां, दर्शनस्य वा शरणं रक्षणं यत्र ते । ‘शिवं’ मोक्षं । भजन्त्यनुभवन्ति । कथंभूतं ? ‘अजरं’ न विद्यते जरा वृद्धत्वं यत्र । ‘अरुजं’ न विद्यते रुग्व्याधिर्यत्र । ‘अक्षयं’ न विद्यते लब्धानन्तचतुष्टयक्षयो२ यत्र । ‘अव्याबाधं’ न विद्यते दुःखकारणेन केनचिद्विविधा विशेषेण वा अबाधा यत्र । ‘विशोकभयशङ्कं’ विगता शोकभयशङ्का यत्र । ‘काष्ठागतसुखविद्याविभवं’ काष्ठां परमप्रकर्षं गतः प्राप्तः सुखविद्ययोर्विभवो विभूतिर्यत्र । ‘विमलं’ विगतं मलं द्रव्यभावरूपकर्म३ यत्र ।।४०।। bādhārahit, [विशोकभयशंकम् ] shok, bhay tathā shaṅkā rahit [काष्ठागतसुखविद्याविभवम् ] jyān sukh ane gnānano vaibhav parākāṣhṭhāe pahoñchyo chhe tevā – arthāt sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa sukh ane sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa gnānasahit, [विमलं ] malarahit, arthāt dravyakarma, bhāvakarma ane nokarmarūp malarahit [शिवम् ] mokṣhane [भजन्ति ] pāme chhe.
ṭīkā : — ‘दर्शनशरणाः’ jemane samyagdarshan sharaṇ chhe – arthāt samyagdarshan jemanun sansāranān duḥkhamānthī rakṣhaṇ karanār chhe – athavā jemane samyagdarshananun sharaṇ chhe – rakṣhaṇ chhe, teo ‘शिवं भजन्ति’ mokṣha pāme chhe – anubhave chhe. kevā (mokṣhane)? ‘अजरं’ jyān jarā eṭale ghaḍapaṇ nathī, ‘अरुजम्’ jyān ruj eṭale rog – vyādhi nathī, ‘अक्षयम्’ jyān prāpta thayelā anant chatuṣhṭayano kṣhay nathī, ‘अव्याबाधम्’ jyān koī duḥkh paḍavāthī athavā vividh prakārathī bādhā nathī, ‘विशोकभयशंकम्’ jyān shok, bhay ane shaṅkāno nāsh thaī gayo chhe, ‘काष्ठागतसुखविद्याविभवम्’ jyān sukh ane gnānano vibhav – vibhūti parākāṣhṭhāe pahoñchī chhe tathā ‘विमलं’ jyān dravyakarma, bhāvakarma ane nokarmarūp maḷano nāsh thayo chhe tevā (mokṣhane pāme chhe.)

यत्प्राक् प्रत्येकं श्लोकैः सम्यग्दर्शनस्य फलमुक्तं तद्दर्शनाधिकारस्य समाप्तौ संग्रहवृत्तेनोपसंहृत्य प्रतिपादयन्नाह —
राजेन्द्रचक्रमवनीन्द्रशिरोर्चनीयम् ।
लब्ध्वा शिवं च जिनभक्तिरुपैति भव्यः ।४१।
‘शिवं’ मोक्षं । ‘उपैति’ प्राप्नोति । कोऽसौ ? ‘भव्यः’ सम्यग्दृष्टिः । कथंभूतः ? ‘जिनभक्तिः’ जिने भक्तिर्यस्य । किं कृत्वा ? ‘लब्ध्वा’ । कं ? ‘देवेन्द्रचक्रमहिमानं’ देवानामिन्द्रा देवेन्द्रास्तेषां चक्रं संघातस्तत्र तस्य वा महिमानं विभूतिमाहात्म्यं । कथंभूतं ? ‘अमेयमानं’ अमेयोअपर्यन्तं मानं पूजा ज्ञानं वा यस्य तममेयमानं । तथा ‘राजेन्द्रचक्रं’
pūrve pratyek shlok dvārā je samyagdarshananun phaḷ kahyun te samyagdarshanano adhikār samāpta karatān saṅgrah vr̥uttithī (saṅkṣheparūpe) upasanhār karī pratipādan karatān kahe chhe —
anvayārtha : — [जिनभक्तिः ] jinendranī bhaktivāḷo jinabhakta [भव्यः ] bhavya (samyagdraṣhṭi jīv) [अमेयमानम् ] aparimit pratiṣhṭhā athavā gnān sahit [देवेन्द्रचक्रमहिमानम् ] devendronā samūhanā mahimāne (aishvaryane), [अवनीन्द्रशिरोर्चनीयम् ] rājāonā mastak dvārā pūjanīy [राजेन्द्रचक्रम् ] chakravartīnā chakraratnane [च ] ane [अधरीकृतसर्वलोकम् ] sarva lokane jeṇe nīchān karī dīdhān chhe arthāt sarva lokamān je uttam chhe tevā [धर्मेन्द्रचक्रम् ] dharmendranā (tīrthaṅkaranā) chakrane (padane) [लब्ध्वा ] prāpta karī [शिवम् ] mokṣha [उपैति ] pāme chhe.

लब्ध्वा राज्ञामिन्द्राश्चक्रवर्तिनस्तेषां चक्रं चक्ररत्नं । किं विशिष्टं ? ‘अवनीन्द्रशिरोऽर्चनीयं’ अवन्यां निजनिजपृथिव्वां इन्द्रा मुकुटबद्धा राजानस्तेषां शिरोभिरर्चनीयं । तथा ‘धर्मेन्द्रचक्रं’ लब्ध्वा धर्मस्तस्योत्तमक्षमादिलक्षणस्य चारित्रलक्षणस्य वा इन्द्रा अनुष्ठातारः प्रणेतारो वा तीर्थकरादयस्तेषां चक्रं संघातं धर्मेन्द्राणां वा तीर्थकृतां सूचकं चक्रं धर्मचक्रं । कथंभूतं ? ‘अधरीकृतसर्वलोकं’ अधरीकृतो भृत्यतां नीतः सर्वलोकस्त्रिभुवनं येन तत् । एतत्सर्वं१ लब्ध्वा पश्चाच्छिवं चोपैति भव्य इति ।।४१।। aparimit (amāp) hoy chhe, tathā ‘राजेन्द्रचक्रम्’ rājāonā indro te rājendro – chakravartīo, chakravartīonā chakraratnane prāpta kare chhe. ‘अवनींद्रशिरोऽर्चनीयम्’ ke je potapotānī pr̥ithvīonā adhipati mukuṭabaddha rājāonān mastako dvārā pūjanīy hoy chhe, tathā ‘धर्मेन्द्रचक्रम्’ dharmendrachakrane – uttam kṣhamādirūp athavā chāritrarūp dharmanā indronā anuṣhṭhātā athavā praṇetā – tīrthaṅkar ādinā samūhane athavā dharmendronā – tīrthaṅkaronā sūchak dharmachakrane prāpta kare chhe. ‘अधरीकृतसर्वलोकम्’ ke jeṇe sarva lokane (traṇ bhuvanane) dāsarūp banāvyā chhe (potānā mahimā āgaḷ traṇ bhuvanane jeṇe tuchchha (halakā) karī dīdhā chhe – nīche pāḍī dīdhā chhe) — e badhun prāpta karīne pachhī samyagdraṣhṭi jīv mokṣha pāme chhe.
bhāvārtha : — ā antim shlokamān āchārya shlok 36 thī 41 sudhīno upasanhār karatān kahe chhe ke – samyaktvanā prabhāve samyagdraṣhṭi jīv uttam sānsārik sukh heyabuddhie bhogavī – arthāt uttam manuṣhyapaṇun, indranī aparimit vibhūti, batrīs hajār mukuṭabaddha rājāo dvārā pūjanīy chakravartīpad ane trailokya pūjya tīrthaṅkarapad prāpta karīne ante mokṣha pāme chhe.
samyaktva ātmāno shuddha pariṇām chhe, tenāthī samvar – nirjarā pūrvak mokṣhanī prāpti thāy chhe. ahīn je samyaktvanun phaḷ laukik sukh batāvyun chhe te upacharit kathan chhe; vāstavamān te samyaktvanun phaḷ nathī paṇ bhūmikānusār vartatā tenā sahachararūp prashasta shubh rāganun te phaḷ chhe, em samajavun.
samyagdraṣhṭine darshanamohano abhāv hovāthī temane satyārtha shraddhān, satyārtha gnān pragaṭ hoy chhe ane mithyātva sāthe anantānubandhī kaṣhāyano paṇ abhāv hovāthī tene svarūpācharaṇachāritra paṇ anshe hoy chhe. १. तत्सर्वं लब्ध्वा पश्चाच्च शिवमुपैति भव्य इति घ० ।

joke apratyākhyānāvaraṇanā udayane līdhe tene deshachāritra ane pratyākhyānāvaraṇanā udayane līdhe sakalachāritra pragaṭyun nathī, topaṇ tene dehādik paradravya tathā rāg – dveṣhādi karmajanit parabhāvamān evun draḍh bhedagnān thayun chhe ke te potānā gnān-darshanarūp gnān- svabhāvamān ja ātmabuddhi rākhe chhe ane paryāyamān ātmabuddhi svapnamān paṇ rākhato nathī.
samyagdraṣhṭi chintavan kare chhe ke – ‘bhagavān ane paramāgamanun sharaṇ grahī, antarmukh thaī, gnānadraṣhṭithī avalokan kar. sparsha, ras, gandh, varṇādi – e tārun svarūp nathī, te pudgalanun svarūp chhe. krodhādi kaṣhāy – bhāv karmajanit vikār chhe, te tārā svarūpathī bhinna chhe. dev, manuṣhyādik paryāy tathā manuṣhyādik chār gati ātmānun svarūp nathī, te karmajanit chhe, vināshik chhe.’
vaḷī te chintave chhe ke – ‘hun goro ke shyām nathī, rājā ke raṅk nathī, baḷavān ke nirbaḷ nathī, svāmī ke sevak nathī, rūpavān ke kurūp nathī, brāhmaṇ, kṣhatriy, vaishya nathī, strī ke puruṣh nathī, hun deh, indriyo ke man nathī; kāraṇ ke e sarve karmanā udayajanit pudgalanā vikār chhe. e rūp ātmānun nathī, mārun svarūp to gnātā – draṣhṭā chhe vagere.’
samyagdraṣhṭine āvun bhedagnān hovāthī tene paramān ātmabuddhi, paryāyabuddhi, nimittabuddhi, vyavahārabuddhi ane kartābuddhi chhūṭī jāy chhe, tethī parabhāvothī vimukh thaī te svasanmukh thāy chhe ane satya shraddhā – gnānanā baḷathī yā gnān – vairāgya shaktinā prabhāvathī te ātmasvarūpamān sthir thavāno nirantar abhyās kare chhe ane nirvikār – atīndriy ānandano anubhav kare chhe.
āvo atīndriy ānandano anubhav karavo te paṇ samyaktvano ja mahimā chhe, māṭe mokṣhārthīe pratham tene ja dhāraṇ karavun joīe. ātmārthīne sānsārik sukh to dhānya sāthe ghāsanī jem sahaj prāpya chhe. 41.

anvayārtha : — [यत् ] je (vastusvarūpane) [अन्यूनम् ] nyūnatā rahit, [अनतिरिक्तं ] adhikatārahit, [विपरीतात् विना ] viparītatā vinā – viparītatā rahit, [च ] ane [निःसंदेहम् ] sandeharahit [याथातथ्यं ] jem chhe tem [वेद ] jāṇe chhe, [तत् ] tene [आगमिनः ] gaṇadharo yā shrutakevalīo [ज्ञानं ] samyaggnān [आहुः ] kahe chhe.
ṭīkā : — ‘यद् वेद तद् आगमिनः ज्ञानं आहुः’ je (nīchenī rīte) jāṇe chhe tene āgamanā jāṇanārā (gaṇadharo athavā shrutakevalīo) bhāvashrutarūp gnān kahe chhe. kevī rīte jāṇe chhe? ‘निःसंदेहं’ niḥsanshayapaṇe ‘विना च विपरीतात्’ viparyay rahit ja – viparyayanā vyavachchhed pūrvak – evo artha chhe. tathā ‘अन्यूनं’ paripūrṇa – sakal vastusvarūpane nahi ke nyūn – vikal vastusvarūpane.

यद्वेद ‘तद्ज्ञानं’ न१ न्यूनं विकलं तत्स्वरूपं यद्वेद । तर्हि२ जीवादिवस्तुस्वरूपेऽविद्यमानमपि सर्वथानित्यत्वक्षणिकत्वाद्वैतादिरूपं कल्पयित्वा यद्वेत्ति तदधिकार्थंवेदित्वात्३ ज्ञानं भविष्यतीत्यहत्राह — ‘अनतिरिक्तं’ वस्तुस्वरूपादनतिरिक्तमनधिकं यद्वेद तज्ज्ञानं न पुनस्तद्वत्स्वरूपादधिकं कल्पनाशिल्पिकल्पितं यद्वेद । एवं चैतद्विशेषणचतुष्टय- सामर्थ्याद्यथाभूतार्थवेदकत्वं तस्य संभवति तद्दर्शयति — ‘यथातथ्यं’ यथावस्थितवस्तुस्वरूपं यद्वेद तद्ज्ञानं भावश्रुतं । तद्रूपस्यैव ज्ञानस्य जीवाद्यशेषार्थानामशेषविशेषतः केवलज्ञानवत् साकल्येन स्वरूपप्रकाशनसामर्थ्यसम्भवात् । तदुक्तं —
prashnaḥ — to pachhī jīvādi vastusvarūpamān avidyamān hovā chhatān sarvathā nityatva, sarvathā kṣhaṇikatva ane sarvathā advait ityādirūp kalpīne je jāṇe te adhikārthanun jāṇanārun hovāthī gnān chhe ne?
uttaraḥ — vastusvarūpathī anadhikapaṇe je jāṇe chhe te gnān chhe, parantu te vastusvarūpathī adhik kalpanārūp shilpīthī kalpit karāyelun je jāṇe chhe te gnān nathī. e rīte ā chār visheṣhaṇonā sāmarthyathī te yathābhūt padārthanun jāṇanārun hoy chhe, em have darshāve chhe —
‘याथातथ्यम्’ yathāsthit vastusvarūpane je jāṇe chhe te bhāvashrutarūp gnān chhe; kāraṇ ke evā rūpavāḷā gnānane ja kevaḷagnānanī māphak jīvādi samasta padārthonā svarūpane samasta visheṣho sahit prakāshavānun sāmarthya chhe. tethī (āptamīmānsāmān) kahyun chhe ke —

अतस्तदेवात्र धर्मत्वेनाभिप्रेतं तस्यैव मुख्यतो मूलकारणभूततया स्वर्गापवर्गसाधन- सामर्थ्यसंभवात् ।।१।।
sarva tattvonun prakāshan karavāmān, syādvād (shrutagnān) ane kevaḷagnānamān parokṣha ane pratyakṣhanī apekṣhāe ja bhed chhe, tenāthī bījun (gnān) avasturūp chhe. tethī te ja (bhāvashrutarūp samyaggnān ja) dharma chhe – evo abhiprāy chhe; kāraṇ ke mukhyapaṇe mūḷ kāraṇ hovāthī tenāmān svarga ane mokṣhanā sādhananun sāmarthya chhe.
bhāvārtha : — je vastunā svarūpane, nyūnatā, adhikatā, viparītatā ane sandeh rahit jem chhe tem jāṇe chhe, tene gaṇadharo yā shrutakevalīo ‘samyaggnān’ kahe chhe; arthāt je vastusvarūpane sanshay (sandeh), viparyay ane anadhyavasāy rahit jem chhe tem jāṇe chhe tene samyaggnān kahe chhe. ā pramāṇ – gnānanun lakṣhaṇ chhe. nitya – anityarūp, sāmānya – visheṣharūp evun vastusvarūp jem chhe tem je gnān jāṇe tene ja satyārthagnān – pramāṇagnān – samyaggnān kahe chhe.1
ā shlokanī ṭīkāmān samyaggnānane (1) bhāvashrutarūp gnān, (2) yathābhūt ane (3) jīvādi samasta padārthonā svarūpane kevaḷagnānavat sampūrṇapaṇe prakāshan karavānā sāmarthyavāḷun kahyun chhe; kāraṇ ke —
(1) bhāvashrutagnān jenun svarūp chhe evā gnānīne, abhedarūp bhāvashrutagnānasvarūp shuddhātmānun gnān hovāthī, te parathī atyant virakta hoy chhe. tethī te gnānī, karmanā udayanā svabhāvane svayam ja chhoḍī de chhe. (shrī samayasār gāthā 318nī ṭīkā)
(2) yathābhūt – ‘याथातथ्यं’ je vastusvarūp chhe tem jāṇe te gnān bhāvashrutarūp chhe.
(3) kevaḷagnānavat — chothā – pāñchamā guṇasthānavartī jīvo paṇ samyaggnānī hovāthī, 1.sanshay (sandeh) – ‘विरुद्धानेककोटिस्पर्शिज्ञानं संशयः’ — ‘ā pramāṇe chhe ke ā pramāṇe chhe’ – evun je

temane bhāvashrutagnān hoy chhe ane te gnān sakaḷ padārthone prakāshavāne samartha hovāthī tene kevaḷagnānavat kahyun chhe.
āvun gnān bhūtārtha – trikāḷī dhruvasvātmānā āshray vinā koīne pragaṭ thaī shake nahi.
jyān samyaggnān hoy tyān ātmik sukh abhinna hoy chhe, kem ke gnān ane sukhanun abhinnapaṇun chhe. (juo shrī pravachanasār gāthā 53nī shrī amr̥utachandrāchāryakr̥ut bhūmikā).
‘‘.......prayojanabhūt jīvādi tattvomān sanshay, viparyay ane anadhyavasāyarūp je jāṇavun thāy chhe tenun nām mithyāgnān chhe, paṇ aprayojanabhūt padārthone yathārtha jāṇe athavā ayathārtha jāṇe tenī apekṣhāe kāī mithyāgnān – samyaggnān nathī; jem mithyādraṣhṭi doraḍīne doraḍī jāṇe tethī (tenun gnān) kāī samyaggnān nām pāme nahi tathā samyagdraṣhṭi doraḍīne sāp jāṇe tethī (tenun gnān) kāī te mithyāgnān nām pāme nahi.
‘‘........ahīn to sansār – mokṣhanā kāraṇabhūt satya – asatya jāṇavāno nirdhār karavo chhe, eṭale doraḍī – sarpādikanun yathārtha vā anyathā gnān kāī sansār – mokṣhanun kāraṇ nathī, māṭe enī apekṣhāe ahīn mithyāgnān – samyaggnān kahyun nathī; paṇ prayojanabhūt jīvādi tattvone jāṇavānī apekṣhāe ja mithyāgnān – samyaggnān kahyun chhe ane e ja abhiprāyathī siddhāntamān mithyādraṣhṭinā sarva jāṇavāne mithyāgnān ja kahyun tathā samyagdraṣhṭinā sarva jāṇavāne samyaggnān kahyun.
‘‘kāraṇ ke mithyādraṣhṭi jāṇe chhe tyān tene sattā – asattāno visheṣh (bhed) nathī, tethī te kāraṇ viparītatā, svarūp viparītatā vā bhedābhed viparītatā upajāve chhe.......e pramāṇe mithyādraṣhṭinā jāṇavāmān viparītatā hoy chhe.
‘‘jem dārūno kephī manuṣhya mātāne potānī strī māne tathā strīne mātā māne, tem mithyādraṣhṭimān anyathā jāṇavun hoy chhe. vaḷī jem koī kāḷamān e kephī manuṣhya mātāne mātā vā strīne strī paṇ jāṇe, topaṇ tene nishchayarūp nirdhār vaḍe shraddhānapūrvak jāṇavun na hovāthī tene yathārtha gnān kahetā nathī. tem mithyādraṣhṭi koī kāḷamān koī padārthane satya paṇ jāṇe, topaṇ tenā nishchayarūp nirdhārathī shraddhān sahit jāṇato nathī, tethī tene samyaggnān kahetā nathī; athavā satya jāṇe chhatān e vaḍe potānun ayathārtha ja prayojan

तस्य विषयभेदाद्भेदान् प्ररूपयन्नाह —
sādhe chhe, tethī tene samyaggnān kahevātun nathī. e pramāṇe mithyādraṣhṭinā gnānane mithyāgnān kahīe chhīe.
prashnaḥ — e mithyāgnānanun kāraṇ shun chhe?
uttaraḥ — mohanā udayathī je mithyātvabhāv thāy chhe – samyagbhāv thato nathī e ja mithyāgnānanun kāraṇ chhe. jem viṣhanā sanyogathī bhojanane paṇ viṣharūp kahevāmān āve chhe, tem mithyātvanā sambandhathī gnān paṇ mithyāgnān nām pāme chhe.
e ja pramāṇe jīvane prayojanabhūt jīvādi tattva tathā aprayojanabhūt anya padārthone yathārtha jāṇavānī shakti hoy, paṇ tyān jene mithyātvano uday hoy te to aprayojanabhūt hoy tene ja vede chhe – jāṇe chhe, paṇ prayojanabhūtane jāṇato nathī. jo te prayojanabhūtane jāṇe to samyaggnān banī jāy, paṇ mithyātvano uday hovāthī tem banī shakatun nathī. māṭe tyān prayojanabhūt – aprayojanabhūt padārtho jāṇavāmān gnānāvaraṇanun nimitta nathī, parantu mithyātvano uday – anuday ja kāraṇabhūt chhe.’’1 42.
tenā (samyaggnānanā) viṣhay – bhedathī prathamānuyogarūp bhedanun prarūpaṇ karatān kahe chhe —
anvayārtha : — [समीचीनः बोधः ] samyaggnān chhe te [अर्थाख्यानम् ] jemān paramārtharūp viṣhayanun vyākhyān chhe evā, [चरितं ] jemān koī ek mahāpuruṣhanā charitranun vyākhyān āve chhe evā, [पुराणम् अपि ] jemān tresaṭh shalākāpuruṣhonī kathā āve chhe evā, [पुण्यम् ] jene sāmbhaḷavāthī puṇya ūpaje chhe evā ane [बोधिसमाधिनिधानम् ] je bodhi ane samādhi e banne viṣhayonun nidhān chhe evā (arthāt tene sāmbhaḷavāthī bodhi ane samādhi prāpta thāy chhe evā) [प्रथमानुयोगम् ] prathamānuyogane [बोधति ] jāṇe chhe. 1. juo, mokṣhamārga prakāshak, gujarātī āvr̥utti, adhyāy 4, pr̥uṣhṭha 88 thī 90.

‘बोधः समीचीनः’ सत्यं श्रुतज्ञानं । ‘बोधति’ जानाति । कं ? प्रथमानुयोगं । किं पुनः प्रथमानुयोगशब्देनाभिधीयते इत्याह — ‘चरितं पुराणमपि’ एकपुरुषाश्रिता कथा चरितं त्रिषष्टिशलाकापुरुषाश्रिता कथा पुराणं तदुभयमपि प्रथमानुयोगशब्दाभिधेयं । तस्य प्रकल्पितत्वव्यवच्छेदार्थमर्थाख्यानमिति विशेषणं, अर्थस्य परमार्थस्य विषयस्याख्यानं प्रतिपादनं यत्र येन वा तं । तथा ‘पुण्यं’ प्रथमानुयोगं हि श्रृण्वंता पुण्यमुत्पद्यते इति पुण्यहेतुत्वात्पुण्यं तदनुयोगं । तथा ‘बोधिसमाधिनिधानं’ अप्राप्तानां हि सम्यग्दर्शनादीनां प्राप्तिर्बोधिः, प्राप्तानां तु पर्यन्तप्रापणं समाधिः, ध्यानं वा धर्म्यं शुक्लं च समाधिः तयोर्निधानं । तदनुयोगं हि श्रृण्वतां सद्दर्शनादेः प्राप्त्यादिकं धर्म्यध्यानादिकं च भवति ।।४३।।
ṭīkā : — ‘समीचीनः बोधः प्रथमानुयोगम् बोधति’ satya shrutagnān prathamānuyogane jāṇe chhe. vaḷī ‘prathamānuyog’ shabdathī shun kahevāmān āve chhe? te kahe chhe — ‘चरितं पुराणमपि’ – ek puruṣhane āshrit kathā te ‘charit’ ane tresaṭh shalākā puruṣhone āshrit kathā te ‘purāṇ’ – te bannene (charit ane purāṇane) prathamānuyog shabdathī kahevāy chhe. tenā (prathamānuyoganā) prakalpitapaṇānā vyavachchhed (nāsh) māṭe ‘अर्थाख्यानम्’ evun visheṣhaṇ chhe. arthanun arthāt paramārtharūp viṣhayanun ākhyān1 eṭale pratipādan jemān thāy chhe athavā jenāthī thāy chhe evo (prathamānuyog chhe) tathā ‘पुण्यम्’ prathamānuyogane sāmbhaḷanārāone puṇya ūpaje chhe evā puṇya – hetupaṇāne līdhe te anuyog (prathamānuyog) puṇyarūp chhe; tathā ‘बोधिसमाधिनिधानं’ kharekhar nahi prāpta thayelān samyagdarshanādinī prāpti te ‘bodhi’ ane prāpta thayelānnun (samyagdarshanādinun) ante (pūrṇatāe) pahoñchavun te ‘samādhi’ athavā dharmadhyān ane shukladhyān – te samādhi. te bannenā (bodhi ane samādhinā) nidhānarūp (khajānārūp) evā prathamānuyoganā sāmbhaḷanārāone samyagdarshanādinī prāpti ādi ane dharmadhyānādik thāy chhe.
bhāvārtha : — kathā, charitra ane purāṇarūp granthone prathamānuyog kahe chhe. paramārthanā ane tenā sādhak puruṣhonun jemān varṇan (kathan) hoy te ākhyān grantho chhe, jemān koī ek puruṣhane āshrit varṇan hoy te charitra grantho chhe ane jemān 2tresaṭh shalākā puruṣhone āshrit varṇan hoy te purāṇ grantho chhe. 1. dharma, artha, kām ane mokṣha — e chār puruṣhārthonun tathā temanā sādhak puruṣhonun kathan te arthākhyān. 2. tresaṭh shalākā puruṣho – 9 nārāyaṇ, 9 pratinārāyaṇ, 9 baḷabhadra, 12 chakravartī ane 24 tīrthaṅkaro.

ā prathamānuyoganān shāstronān shravaṇ, paṭhan, manan ane chintanādithī puṇya, bodhi (ratnatray) ane samādhinī prāpti thāy chhe, kāraṇ ke teo puṇyarūp tathā puṇyanun kāraṇ chhe ane bodhi tathā samādhino khajāno chhe; arthāt je samyaggnān, ākhyān, charitra ane purāṇorūp shāstrone jāṇe chhe te bhāvashrut gnānane āchārya prathamānuyog kahe chhe. ā anuyog samyaggnānano viṣhay chhe.
1‘‘jainamatamān upadesh chār anuyogano āpyo chhe. prathamānuyog, karaṇānuyog, charaṇānuyog ane dravyānuyog — e chār anuyog chhe. tyān tīrthaṅkar – chakravartī ādi mahān puruṣhonān charitra jemān nirūpaṇ karyān hoy te ‘prathamānuyog’ chhe, guṇasthān – mārgaṇādirūp jīvanun, karmonun vā trilokādinun jemān nirūpaṇ hoy te ‘karaṇānuyog’ chhe, gr̥uhastha – muninā dharma ācharaṇ karavānun jemān nirūpaṇ hoy te ‘charaṇānuyog’ chhe tathā chha dravya, sāt tattvādik ane sva – par bhedavignānādikanun jemān nirūpaṇ hoy te ‘dravyānuyog’ chhe.’’
‘‘प्रथमानुयोगः प्रथमं मिथ्यादृष्टिमव्रतिकमव्युत्पन्नं वा प्रतिपाद्यमाश्रित्य प्रवृत्तोऽनुयोगोऽधिकारः प्रथमानुयोगः। ’’२
arthaḥ — pratham arthāt mithyādraṣhṭi – avratī, visheṣh gnān rahit shiṣhyane uddeshī pravr̥utta thayelo anuyog arthāt adhikār te prathamānuyog chhe.
‘‘prathamānuyogamān to sansāranī vichitratā, puṇya – pāpanān phaḷ tathā mahāpuruṣhonī pravr̥utti ityādi nirūpaṇathī jīvone dharmamān lagāvyā chhe. je jīv tuchchha buddhivān hoy te paṇ ā anuyogathī dharmasanmukh thāy chhe, kāraṇ ke jīv sūkṣhma nirūpaṇane samajato nathī, paṇ laukik vārtāone ja jāṇe chhe tathā tyān teno upayog paṇ lāge chhe. prathamānuyogamān paṇ laukik pravr̥uttirūp nirūpaṇ hovāthī tene te barābar samajī shake chhe. 1. ane 3. mokṣhamārga prakāshak gujarātī āvr̥utti pr̥uṣhṭha 271, 272, vadhu māṭe juo pr̥uṣhṭha 274

‘‘vaḷī lokamān to rājādikanī kathāomān pāp chhoḍavānun vā puṇyanun poṣhaṇ chhe. tyān rājādik mahāpuruṣhonī kathā sāmbhaḷe chhe, parantu tenun prayojan jyān – tyānthī pāpane chhoḍī dharmamān lagāvavānun pragaṭ karyun chhe. tethī te jīv kathāonī lālach vaḍe paṇ tene vāñche – sāmbhaḷe to pāchhaḷathī pāpane būrun tathā dharmane bhalo gaṇī dharmamān ruchivān thāy chhe. e pramāṇe tuchchha buddhivānone samajāvavā māṭe ā anuyog chhe......
‘‘vaḷī je jīvone tattvagnān thayun hoy teo ā anuyog vāñche – sāmbhaḷe to temane ā udāharaṇarūp bhāse chhe. jem ke jīv anādinidhan chhe tathā sharīrādi sanyogī padārtha chhe – em jāṇato hato. have purāṇādikamān jīvonān bhavāntaranun nirūpaṇ karyun chhe te e jāṇavāmān udāharaṇarūp thayun.
‘‘vaḷī ā shubh – ashubh – shuddhopayogane jāṇato hato, vā tenā phaḷane jāṇato hato. have purāṇomān te upayogonī pravr̥utti tathā tenun phaḷ jīvone je thayun hoy tenun nirūpaṇ karyun chhe. e ja ā jāṇavāmān udāharaṇarūp thayun,.......
‘‘.......dharmātmā chhe te, dharmīonī prashansā ane pāpīonī nindā jemān hoy evī koī purāṇ puruṣhonī kathā sāmbhaḷavāthī dharmamān ati utsāhavān thāy chhe. e pramāṇe ā prathamānuyoganun prayojan jāṇavun.’’ 43.

‘तथा’ तेन प्रथमानुयोगप्रकारेण, ‘मति’र्मननं१ श्रुतज्ञानं । अवैति जानाति । कं ? ‘करणानुयोगं’ लोकालोकविभागं पंचसंग्रहादिलक्षणं । कथंभूतमिव ? ‘आदर्शमिव’ यथा आदर्शो दर्पणो मुखादेर्यथावत्स्वरूपप्रकाशकस्तथा करणानुयोगोऽपि स्वविषयस्यायं प्रकाशकः । ‘लोकालोकविभक्तेः’ लोक्यन्ते जीवादयः पदार्था यत्रासौ लोकस्त्रिचत्वारिं- शदधिकशतत्रयपरिमितरज्जुपरिमाणः, — तद्विपरीतोऽलोकोऽनन्तमानावच्छिन्नशुद्धाकाश- स्वरूपः तयोर्विभक्ति-र्विभागो भेदस्तस्याः आदर्शमिव । तथा ‘युगपरिवृत्तेः’ युगस्य कालस्योत्सर्पिण्यादेः परिवृत्तिः परावर्तनं तस्या आदर्शमिव । तथा ‘चतुर्गतीनां च’ lok – alokanā vibhāganā – svarūpanā [युगपरिवृत्तेः ] yugonā (arthāt kālanā parivartananā) svarūpanā [च ] ane [चतुर्गतीनाम् ] chār gationā svarūpanā prakāshak evā [करणानुयोगम् च ] karaṇānuyogane paṇ [अवैति ] jāṇe chhe.
ṭīkā : — ‘तथा’ te prathamānuyoganā prakāre ‘मतिः मनिनं श्रुतज्ञानं’ mati eṭale manan – shrutagnān, ‘अवैति’ jāṇe chhe. kone (jāṇe chhe)? ‘करणानुयोगं’ karaṇānuyogane arthāt pañchasaṅgrahādirūp lok – alokanā vibhāgane; konī māphak? ‘आदर्शमिव’ jem ādarsha eṭale darpaṇ mukhādinā yathāvat svarūpane prakāshe chhe, tem karaṇānuyog paṇ potānā viṣhayane prakāshe chhe.
‘लोकालोकविभक्तेः’ jemān jīvādi padārtho jaṇāy te lok, te traṇaso tentālīsh (343)thī adhik ghan rāju pramāṇ chhe. tenāthī viparīt svarūpavāḷo alok chhe, te anant pramāṇ ane avachchhinna shuddha ākāshasvarūp chhe. te bannenā vibhāgane (bhedane) ādarshanī jem prakāshe chhe, tathā ‘युगपरिवृत्तेः’ yuganā – kālanā – utsarpiṇī ādinā parivartanane darpaṇanī jem prakāshe chhe. ane ‘चतुर्गतिनाम् च’ narak, tiryañch, manuṣhya ane devagatirūp chār gationā (svarūpane) darpaṇanī jem prakāshe chhe – varṇave chhe.
bhāvārtha : — jem darpaṇ mukhādi vastuone jem chhe tem batāve chhe, tem je shāstra pāñch dravyonā (jīv, pudgal, dharma, adharma ane kālanā) samūharūp lok ane tenāthī viparīt svarūpavāḷā shuddha anant alokanā vibhāgane, utsarpiṇī – avasarpiṇīrūp kalpakālanā parivartanane ane narakādi chār gationā svarūpane, jem chhe tem batāve tene karaṇānuyog kahe chhe. ā anuyog paṇ samyaggnānano viṣhay chhe, arthāt karaṇānuyog, lok – alokanā vibhāgane, yuganā parivartanane ane chaturgationā svarūpane yathāvat १. मतिज्ञानं न श्रुतज्ञानम् इति ग पुस्तके ।
