प्रासुकमपि शिष्टलोकानामास्वादनायोग्यं एतदपि जह्यात् व्रतं कुर्यात् । कुत एतदित्याह – १
पूर्विका या विरतिः सा यतो व्रतं भवति ।।८६।। pAn khAIne bahAr kADhelI lAL, mUtra, viShTA, lInT Adi prAsuk hovA chhatAn shiShTajanone (sajjanone) svAd karavA yogya na hoy – evI anupasevya (nahi sevan karavA yogya) vastuono paN tyAg karavo joIe — tenAthI nivRutti karavI joIe. shA mATe? te kahe chhe — ‘अभिसन्धीत्यादि’ aniShTa ane anupasevya hovAthI chhoDavA yogya viShayathI abhiprAyapUrvak je virati (nivRutti) thAy chhe, te vrat chhe.
bhAvArtha : — je vastu shArIrik prakRitine viruddha hoy, rogAdikane vadhAranArI hoy, prakRitine mAphak AvatI na hoy, (jem khAnsIvALA daradIne khAnD vagere mAphak na hoy tem) te aniShTa chhe ane shiShTajanone je sevan karavA yogya nathI tevI chIjo jevI ke gomUtra, viShTA, lInT Adi anupasevya chhe. te banne prakAranI aniShTa ane anupasevya chIjono tyAg karavo joIe, kAraN ke sevan karavA yogya pAnch indriyonA viShayono pratignApUrvak tyAg karavo, tene ja vrat kahe chhe.
AvA vrato samyagdraShTi sahit pancham guNasthAne hoy chhe. e vratomAn ‘paravastune chhoDavAnun kathan’ teno artha evo nathI ke paravastu grahI yA chhoDI shakAy chhe; paN gnAnIne te bhUmikAmAn akaShAyasvabhAvanA Alamban anusAr e vastuno rAg utpanna thato nathI; tethI upacharit asadbhUt vyavahAranayathI ‘parano tyAg karyo’ em kahevAmAn Ave chhe.
je chIjo khAvA yogya hoy ane temAn jIvahinsAno paN abhAv hoy, parantu koI kAraNavashAt potAne anukUL na hoy, hAnikArak hoy to tevI chIjo aniShTa chhe, jem ke khAnsInA rogIne ghI – dUdh hAnikArak chhe, aniShTa chhe. vAtanA daradIne bhAt, aDadanI dAL vagere aniShTa chhe, kaphanA daradIne khAnDanI chIjo aniShTa chhe tathA je padArtha khAvAthI pramAd, Alasya, nidrA vagere utpanna thAy; svAdhyAy, sAmAyik Adi dharmadhyAnamAn bAdhA Ave te sarva padArtho bhakShya hovA chhatAn potAne mATe aniShTa chhe.
je chIjo aniShTa na hoy tathA chintAjanak paN na hoy, parantu anantakAy ane १. ‘अभिसन्धीत्यादिअनिष्टतया अनुपसेव्यतया च व्यावृत्तेर्योग्याद् विषयाद्’ इति पंक्तिः घ प्रतौ नास्ति ।
