ā prathamānuyoganān shāstronān shravaṇ, paṭhan, manan ane chintanādithī puṇya, bodhi (ratnatray) ane samādhinī prāpti thāy chhe, kāraṇ ke teo puṇyarūp tathā puṇyanun kāraṇ chhe ane bodhi tathā samādhino khajāno chhe; arthāt je samyaggnān, ākhyān, charitra ane purāṇorūp shāstrone jāṇe chhe te bhāvashrut gnānane āchārya prathamānuyog kahe chhe. ā anuyog samyaggnānano viṣhay chhe.
1‘‘jainamatamān upadesh chār anuyogano āpyo chhe. prathamānuyog, karaṇānuyog, charaṇānuyog ane dravyānuyog — e chār anuyog chhe. tyān tīrthaṅkar – chakravartī ādi mahān puruṣhonān charitra jemān nirūpaṇ karyān hoy te ‘prathamānuyog’ chhe, guṇasthān – mārgaṇādirūp jīvanun, karmonun vā trilokādinun jemān nirūpaṇ hoy te ‘karaṇānuyog’ chhe, gr̥uhastha – muninā dharma ācharaṇ karavānun jemān nirūpaṇ hoy te ‘charaṇānuyog’ chhe tathā chha dravya, sāt tattvādik ane sva – par bhedavignānādikanun jemān nirūpaṇ hoy te ‘dravyānuyog’ chhe.’’
‘‘प्रथमानुयोगः प्रथमं मिथ्यादृष्टिमव्रतिकमव्युत्पन्नं वा प्रतिपाद्यमाश्रित्य प्रवृत्तोऽनुयोगोऽधिकारः प्रथमानुयोगः। ’’२
arthaḥ — pratham arthāt mithyādraṣhṭi – avratī, visheṣh gnān rahit shiṣhyane uddeshī pravr̥utta thayelo anuyog arthāt adhikār te prathamānuyog chhe.
‘‘prathamānuyogamān to sansāranī vichitratā, puṇya – pāpanān phaḷ tathā mahāpuruṣhonī pravr̥utti ityādi nirūpaṇathī jīvone dharmamān lagāvyā chhe. je jīv tuchchha buddhivān hoy te paṇ ā anuyogathī dharmasanmukh thāy chhe, kāraṇ ke jīv sūkṣhma nirūpaṇane samajato nathī, paṇ laukik vārtāone ja jāṇe chhe tathā tyān teno upayog paṇ lāge chhe. prathamānuyogamān paṇ laukik pravr̥uttirūp nirūpaṇ hovāthī tene te barābar samajī shake chhe. 1. ane 3. mokṣhamārga prakāshak gujarātī āvr̥utti pr̥uṣhṭha 271, 272, vadhu māṭe juo pr̥uṣhṭha 274
