dravyānuyogano abhyās karyā kare to te tattvagnān ṭakī rahe, na kare to bhūlī paṇ jāy, athavā saṅkṣhepatāthī tattvagnān thayun hatun te ahīn nānā yukti – hetu – draṣhṭāntādi vaḍe spaṣhṭa thaī jāy to pachhī temān shithilatā thaī shake nahi ane tenā abhyāsathī rāgādik ghaṭavāthī alpakāḷamān mokṣha sadhāy. e pramāṇe dravyānuyoganun prayojan jāṇavun......’’2
‘‘shaṅkāḥ — dravyānuyogarūp adhyātma upadesh chhe, te utkr̥uṣhṭa chhe ane te uchcha dashāne prāpta hoy tene ja kāryakārī chhe paṇ nīchalī dashāvāḷāone to vrat – sanyamādino ja upadesh āpavo yogya chhe.’’
‘‘samādhānaḥ – jinamatamān to evī paripāṭī chhe ke pahelān samyaktva hoy, pachhī vrat hoy; have samyaktva to sva – paranun shraddhān thatān thāy chhe tathā te shraddhān karī samyagdraṣhṭi thāy ane tyār pachhī charaṇānuyog anusār vratādik dhāraṇ karī vratī thāy. e pramāṇe mukhyapaṇe to nīchalī dashāmān ja dravyānuyog kāryakār chhe tathā gauṇapaṇe jene mokṣhamārganī prāpti thatī na jaṇāy tene pahelān koī vratādikano upadesh āpavāmān āve chhe māṭe uchcha dashāvāḷāone adhyātma upadesh abhyās karavā yogya chhe — em jāṇī nīchalī dashāvāḷāoe tyānthī parāṅmukh thavun yogya nathī.’’3 46.
