paṇ pahelā prakāranun bhedagnān karavā mātrathī ja samyagdarshanagnān thatun nathī. anādithī jīvano paryāy ashuddha chhe. tene potāmān thato hovānī apekṣhāe ‘nishchayanay’no viṣhay kahe chhe, to paṇ te paranā āshraye thato hovāthī tene vyavahāranayano paṇ viṣhay kahevāy chhe. vaḷī shuddha paryāyo paṇ jīvanun trikālī svarūp nathī, tem ja tenā āshraye tathā guṇabhedanā āshraye vikalpa utpanna thāy chhe tethī teno āshray chhoḍāvavā māṭe tene paṇ vyavahār kahevāmān āve chhe ane jīv dravyanun trikālī shuddhasvarūp ke je dhruv chhe tene ‘nishchay’ kahevāmān āve chhe kem ke tene āshraye ja dharmanī sharūāt – tenun ṭakavun
‘‘.......siddha bhagavanto siddhapaṇāne līdhe, sādhya je ātmā tenā pratichchhandanā (pratibimbanā) sthāne chhe – jemanā svarūpanun sansārī bhavya jīvo chintavan karīne, te samān potānā svarūpane dhyāvīne, temanā jevā thaī jāy chhe.....’’

अथोक्तप्रकारसिद्धस्वरूपस्य तत्प्राप्त्युपायस्य चोपदेष्टारं सकलात्मानमिष्टदेवताविशेषं स्तोतुमाह — svābhāvik bhāvanun vignān thāy chhe, je vaḍe potāne siddha samān thavānun sādhan thāy chhe. tethī sādhavā yogya potānun shuddha svarūp, tene darshāvavā māṭe je pratibimb samān chhe tathā je kr̥utakr̥utya thayā chhe tethī e ja pramāṇe anantakāḷ paryant rahe chhe evī niṣhpannatāne pāmelā shrī siddha bhagavānane amārā namaskār ho......’’
prashnaḥ pañchaparameṣhṭhīmān pahelā arihant dev chhe; to temanā badale ahīn siddha bhagavānane pratham namaskār kem karyā?
uttaraḥ siddha dashā te ātmānun param dhyey chhe. te ja ātmāne iṣhṭa chhe. granthakartā vyākhyātā, shrotā ane anuṣhṭhātāne siddhasvarūp prāpta karavānī bhāvanā chhe, tethī siddha bhagavānane namaskār karī kartāe granthanī sharūāt karī chhe. jene je guṇanī prāptinī bhāvanā hoy te te guṇadhārīnun bahumān karī tene namaskār kare e svābhāvik chhe. jem dhanurvidyānī prāptino abhilāṣhī puruṣh dhanurvidyā jāṇanāranun bahumān kare chhe, tem siddhapadanī prāptinī bhāvanāvāḷo jīv, siddhapadane pāmelā siddha bhagavānane namaskār karīne shuddhātmāno ādar kare chhe.
vaḷī ā adhyātma shāstra chhe tethī temān pratham siddha bhagavānane namaskār karavā te uchit chhe.1
shrī kundakundāchārye paṇ shrī samayasāranī sharūāt karatān pratham ‘‘वंदित्तु सव्वसिद्धे.......’ kahīne sarva siddhone namaskār karyā chhe.
arahantādine ekadesh siddhapaṇun pragaṭ thayun chhe, māṭe siddha bhagavānone namaskār karatān pañchaparameṣhṭhī bhagavantone paṇ temān namaskār āvī jāy chhe.

टीका — यस्य भगवतो जयन्ति सर्वोत्कर्षेण वर्तन्ते । काः ? भारतीविभूतयः भारत्याः वाण्याः विभूतयो बोधितसर्वात्महितत्वादिसम्पदः । कथंभूतस्यापि जयन्ति ? अवदतोऽपि ताल्वोष्ठपुटव्यापारेण वचनमनुच्चारयतोऽपि । उक्तं च –
नो वांछाकलितं न दोषमलिनं न श्वासरुद्धक्रमं ।
anvayārtha : — (यस्य अनीहितुः अपि) jemane ichchhā paṇ nathī, (अवदतः अपि) jemane tālu, oṣhṭhādidvārā shabdochchāraṇ paṇ nathī, (तीर्थकृतः) jeo tīrthanā karanār chhe ane jemanī (भारतीविभूतयः) vāṇīnī (sarva prāṇīone hit upadeshavārūp) vibhūtio (जयन्ति) jayavant varte chhe, (तस्मै) te (शिवाय) shivane (धात्रे) vidhātāne – brahmāne, (सुगताय) sugatane, (विष्णवे) viṣhṇune, (जिनाय) jinane ane (सकलात्मने) sasharīr shuddhātmāne (arahant paramātmāne) (नमः) namaskār ho.
ṭīkā : je bhagavānanī jayavant varte chhe arthāt sarvotkarṣharūpe varte chhe – shun (jayavant varte chhe)? bhāratīnī vibhūtio – bhāratīnī eṭale vāṇīnī ane vibhūtio eṭale sarva ātmāone hitano upadesh devo ityādirūp sampadāo – (jayavant varte chhe).
kevā hovā chhatān (temanī vāṇīnī vibhūtio) jayavant varte chhe? nahi bolatā hovā chhatān arthāt tālu – oṣhṭhanā sampuṭarūp (sanyogasam) vyāpāradvārā vachanochchār karyā vinā paṇ (temanī vāṇī pravarte chhe).

तन्नः सर्वविदः प्रणष्टविपदः पायादपूर्वं वचः’’ ।।१।।
अथवा भारती च विभूतयश्च छत्रत्रयादयः । पुनरपि कथम्भूतस्य ? तीर्थकृतोऽप्यनीहितुः ईहा वाञ्छा मोहनीयकर्मकार्यं, भगवति च तत्कर्मणः प्रक्षयात्तस्याः सद्भावानुपपत्तिरतोऽनीहितुरपि तत्करणेच्छारहितस्यापि, तीर्थकृतः संसारोरत्तणहेतुभूतत्त्वात्तीर्थमिव तीर्थमागमः तत्कृतवतः । किं नाम्ने तस्मै सकलात्मने ? शिवाय शिवं परमसौख्यं परमकल्याणं निर्वाणं चोच्यते तत्प्राप्ताय । धात्रे असिमषिकृष्यादिभिः सन्मार्गोपदेशकत्वेन च सकललोकाभ्युद्धारकाय । सुगताय शोभनं गतं ज्ञानं यस्यासौ सुगतः, सुष्ठु वा अपुनरावर्त्यगतिं गतं सम्पूर्णं वा अनन्तचतुष्टयं गतः प्राप्तः सुगतस्तस्मै । (halanachalanarūp vyāpārathī) rahit chhe, vāñchhārahit chhe, koī doṣhathī malin nathī, tenā (uchchāraṇamān) shvāsanun rūndhan nahi hovāthī akram (ek sāthe) chhe ane jene shānta tathā krodharūpī viṣhathī rahit (munigaṇ) sāthe pashugaṇe paṇ karṇadvārā (potānī bhāṣhāmān) sāmbhaḷī chhe te duḥkhavināshak sarvagnanī apūrva vāṇī amārī rakṣhā karo.’’
athavā ‘भारतीविभूतयः’no artha ‘bhāratī eṭale vāṇī ane vibhūtio eṭale traṇ chhatrādi’ em paṇ thāy.
vaḷī kevā bhagavānanī? tīrthanā kartā hovā chhatān ichchhā – rahitanī – ihā eṭale vāñchhā je mohanīyakarmanun kārya chhe, te karmano bhagavānane kṣhay hovāthī temanāmān teno (vāñchhāno) asadbhāv (abhāv) chhe; tethī teo ichchhārahit hovā chhatān – te karavānī ichchhā rahit hovā chhatān ‘tīrthakr̥ut’ chhe arthāt sansārathī tāravānā (pār karāvavānā) kāraṇabhūtapaṇāne līdhe tīrtha samān arthāt tīrtha eṭale āgam – tenā karanār chhe – temanī (vāṇī jayavant varte chhe).
kevā nāmavāḷā temane (namaskār)? sakalātmāne, ‘shiv’ne1 – shiv eṭale param sukh, param kalyāṇ ane je nirvāṇ kahevāy chhe te jemaṇe prāpta karyun tevāne, ‘dhātāne’ – asi – masi- kr̥uṣhi ādidvārā sanmārganā upadeshak hovānā kāraṇe jeo sakal lokanā abhyuddhārak (tāraṇahār) temane, ‘sugatane’ – sārun chhe gat eṭale gnān jemanun athavā je sārī rīte apunarāvartyagatine (mokṣhane) pāmyā chhe temane, athavā sampūrṇa ke anantachatuṣhṭayane jemaṇe prāpta १. शिवं परमकल्याणं निर्वाणं शान्तमक्षयं ।

विष्णवे केवलज्ञानेनाशेषवस्तुव्यापकाय । जिनाय अनेकभवगहनप्रापहेतून् कर्मारातीन् जयतीति जिनस्तस्मै । सकलात्मे सह कलया शरीरेण वर्तत इति सकलः सचासावात्मा च तस्मै नमः ।।२।। karyun chhe tevā sugatane, ‘viṣhṇune1 – jeo kevaḷagnān dvārā asheṣh (samasta) vastuomān vyāpak chhe evāne, ‘jine’2 – anek bhavarūpī araṇyane (vanane) prāpta karāvavānā kāraṇabhūt karmashatruone jemaṇe jītyā chhe te jinane – evā sakalātmāne – kal eṭale sharīr sahit je varte chhe te sakal; ane sakal arthāt sasharīr ātmā te ‘sakalātmā’ – temane namaskār ho! bhāvārtha : jeo tīrthaṅkar chhe, shiv chhe, vidhātā chhe, sugat chhe, viṣhṇu chhe tathā samavaraṇādi vaibhav sahit chhe ane bhavya jīvone kalyāṇarūp jemanī divya vāṇī (divya dhvani) mukhethī nahi paṇ sarvāṅgethī ichchhā vagar chhūṭe chhe ane jayavant varte chhe te sasharīr shuddhātmāne arthāt jīvanamukta arahant paramātmāne ahīn namaskār karyā chhe.
ā paṇ māṅgalik shlok chhe. temān granthakāre shrī arahant bhagavānane ane temanī divya dhvanine namaskār karyā chhe.
tāḷu – oṣhṭha vagerenī kriyārahit ane ichchhārahit temanī vāṇī jayavant varte chhe, teo tīrthanā kartā chhe arthāt jīvone mokṣhano mārga batāvanārā chhe – hitopadeshī chhe, temane mohanā abhāvane līdhe koī paṇ prakāranī ichchhā sheṣh rahī nathī arthāt teo vītarāg chhe ane gnānāvaraṇādi chār ghātiyān karmono nāsh thavāthī temane anantagnānādi guṇo pragaṭ thayā chhe arthāt teo ‘sarvagna’ chhe.
vaḷī teo shiv chhe, dhātā chhe, sugat chhe, viṣhṇu chhe, jin chhe ane sakalātmā chhe. ā badhān temanān guṇavāchak nāmo chhe.
te divya vāṇī chhe. te bhagavānanā sarvāṅgethī ichchhā vinā chhūṭe chhe, sarva prāṇīone hitarūp chhe ane nirakṣharī chhe.
vaḷī bhagavānanā divyadhvanine dev, manuṣhya, tiryañchādi sarva jīvo potapotānī bhāṣhāmān १. विश्वं हि द्रव्यपर्यायं विश्वं त्रैलोक्यगोचरम् ।
२. रागद्वेषादयो येन जिताः कर्म-महाभटाः ।

ननु निष्कलेतररूपमात्मानं नत्वा भवान् किं करिष्यतीत्याह —
श्रुतेन लिंगेन यथात्मशक्ति समाहितान्तः करणेन सम्यक् ।
समीक्ष्य कैवल्यसुखस्पृहाणां विविक्तमात्मानमथाभिधास्ये ।।३।। potānā gnānanī yogyatānusār samaje chhe. te nirakṣhar dhvanine ‘omkār dhvani’ kahe chhe. shrotāonā karṇapradesh sudhī te dhvani na pahoñche tyān sudhī te anakṣhar ja chhe ane jyāre te shrotāonā karṇo viṣhe prāpta thāy chhe tyāre te akṣhararūp thāy chhe.1
‘‘.......jem sūryane evī ichchhā nathī ke hun mārga prakāshun parantu svābhāvik ja tenān kiraṇo phelāy chhe, jethī mārganun prakāshan thāy chhe. te ja pramāṇe shrī vītarāg kevalī bhagavānane evī ichchhā nathī ke ame mokṣhamārgane prakāshit karīe, parantu svābhāvikapaṇe ja aghātikarmanā udayathī temanān sharīrarūp pudgalo divyadhvanirūp pariṇame chhe, jenāthī mokṣhamārganun sahaj prakāshan thāy chhe.....’’2
bhagavānanī divya dhvani dravyashrut vachanarūp chhe. te sarasvatīnī mūrti chhe, kāraṇ ke vachanodvārā anek dharmavāḷā ātmāne te parokṣha batāve chhe. kevaḷagnān anant dharmasahit ātmatattvane pratyakṣha dekhe chhe, tethī te paṇ sarasvatīnī mūrti chhe. ā rīte sarva padārthonān tattvane jaṇāvanārī gnānarūp ane vachanarūp anekāntamayī sarasvatīnī mūrti chhe. sarasvatīnān vāṇī, bhārat, shāradā, vāgdevī ityādi ghaṇān nām chhe.3 2.
niṣhkalathī anyarūp ātmāne (niṣhkal nahi evā sakal ātmāne) namaskār karīne āp shun karasho? te kahe chhe –

इत्याद्यागमेन । तथा लिंगेन हेतुना । तथा हि – शरीरादिरात्मभिन्नोभिन्नलक्षणलक्षितत्त्वात् । ययोर्भिन्नलक्षणलक्षितत्वं तयोर्भेदो यथाजलानलयोः । भिन्नलक्षणलक्षितत्वं चात्मशरीरयोरिति । न चानयोर्भिन्नलक्षणलक्षितत्वमप्रसिद्धम् । आत्मनः उपयोगस्वरूपोपलक्षितत्वात् – शरीरादेस्तद्विपरीतत्त्वात् । समाहितान्तः करणेन समाहितमेकाग्रीभूतं तच्च तदन्तःकरणं च मनस्तेन । सम्यक् – समीक्ष्य āchārya (विविक्तं आत्मानं) parathī bhinna evā ātmānā shuddhasvarūpane (श्रुतेन) shrutadvārā (लिंगेन) anumān ane hetudvārā, (समाहितान्तः करणेन) ekāgra manadvārā (सम्यक्समीक्ष्य) samyak prakāre jāṇīne – anubhavīne (कैवल्यसुखस्पृहाणां) kevalyapad – viṣhayak athavā nirmal atīndriyasukhanī bhāvanāvāḷāone (यथाशक्ति) shakti anusār (अभिधास्ये) kahīsh.
ṭīkā : have iṣhṭadevatāne namaskār karyā pachhī hun kahīsh. shun (kahīsh)? vivikta ātmāne arthāt karmamalarahit jīvasvarūpane (kahīsh). kevī rīte kahīsh? yathāshakti – ātmashaktinun ullaṅghan karyā vagar – kahīsh. shun karīne (kahīsh)? samīkṣhā karīne arthāt tevā ātmāne (vivikta ātmāne) samyak prakāre jāṇīne (kahīsh). shā vaḍe (kayā sādhan vaḍe)? shrutadvārā –
‘‘gnānadarshanalakṣhaṇavāḷo shāshvat ek ātmā māro chhe; bākīnā badhā sanyogalakṣhaṇavāḷā bhāvo mārāthī bāhya chhe.’’ ityādi āgamadvārā tathā liṅg arthāt hetudvārā (kahīsh). te ā pramāṇeḥ –
sharīrādi ātmāthī bhinna chhe, kāraṇ ke teo bhinna lakṣhaṇothī lakṣhit chhe. jeo bhinna lakṣhaṇothī lakṣhit chhe, teo banne (ekabījāthī) bhinna chhe; jem jal ane agni (ek bījāthī) bhinna chhe tem. ātmā ane sharīr (banne) bhinna lakṣhaṇothī lakṣhit chhe ane te bannenun bhinna lakṣhaṇothī lakṣhitapaṇun aprasiddha nathī (arthāt prasiddha chhe). kāraṇ ke ātmā upayogasvarūpathī upalakṣhit chhe ane sharīrādik tenāthī viparīt lakṣhaṇavāḷān chhe.

सम्यग्ज्ञात्वा अनुभूयेत्यर्थः । केषां तथा भूतमात्मानमभिधास्ये ? कैवल्यसुखस्पृहाणां कैवल्ये सकलकर्मरहितत्त्वे सति सुखं तत्र स्पृहा अभिलाषो येषां, कैवल्ये विषयाप्रभवे वा सुखे; कैवल्यसुखयो स्पृहा येषाम् ।।३।। man – ekāgra thayelā man vaḍe, samyakprakāre samīkṣhā karīne – (vivikta ātmāne) jāṇīne – anubhavīne (kahīsh) evo artha chhe. hun kone tevā prakāranā ātmāne kahīsh? kaivalya sukhanī spr̥uhāvāḷāone – kaivalya arthāt sakal karmothī rahit thatān je sukh (ūpaje) tenī spr̥uhā (abhilāṣhā) karanārāone – (kahīsh). kaivalya arthāt viṣhayothī utpanna nahi thayelā evā sukhanī – athavā kaivalya ane sukhanī – spr̥uhāvāḷāone (kahīsh). bhāvārtha : shrī pūjyapād svāmī pratignārūpe kahe chhe ke, ‘hun shrut vaḍe, yuktianumān vaḍe ane chittanī ekāgratā vaḍe shuddhātmāne yathārtha jāṇīne tathā teno anubhav karīne, nirmaḷ atīndriy sukhanī bhāvanāvāḷā bhavya jīvone mārī shakti anusār shuddha ātmānun svarūp kahīsh.
kahyun chhe keḥ —
kāī anya te mārun jarī paramāṇumātra nathī are!
darshan – gnān – chāritrarūp pariṇamelo ātmā jāṇe chhe ke – ‘nishchayathī hun ek chhun, shuddha chhun, darshanagnānamay chhun, sadā arūpī chhun; kāī paṇ anya par dravya – paramāṇumātra paṇ mārun nathī. e nishchay chhe.’1
sharīr ane ātmā ekabījāthī bhinna chhe kāraṇ ke te bannenān lakṣhaṇ2 bhinna bhinna chhe. ātmā gnān – darshan lakṣhaṇavāḷo chhe ane sharīrādi tenāthī viruddha lakṣhaṇavāḷān chhe – arthāt achetan jaḍ chhe. jemanān lakṣhaṇ bhinna bhinna hoy chhe te badhān ekabījāthī bhinna hoy 1. shrī samayasār – gu. āvr̥utti – gāthā 38 2. ghaṇā maḷelā padārthomānthī koī padārthane judo karanār hetune lakṣhaṇ kahe chhe. कतिभेदः पुनरात्मा भवति ? येन विविक्तमात्मानमिति विशेष उच्यते । तत्र कुतः chhe; jem ke jalanun lakṣhaṇ shītalapaṇun ane agninun lakṣhaṇ uṣhṇapaṇun chhe. em bannenā lakṣhaṇ bhinna chhe, tethī jalathī agni bhinna chhe.
jem sonā ane chāndīno ek piṇḍ hovā chhatān temān sonun tenān pīḷāshādi lakṣhaṇ vaḍe ane chāndī tenā shuklādi lakṣhaṇ vaḍe – banne judān chhe – em jāṇī shakāy chhe, tem jīv ane karma – nokarma (sharīr) ekakṣhetre hovā chhatān temanān lakṣhaṇo vaḍe teo ekabījāthī bhinna jāṇī shakāy chhe.1
vaḷī antaraṅg rāg – dveṣhādi vikārī pariṇāmo paṇ vāstavamān ātmānā gnān lakṣhaṇathī bhinna chhe, kāraṇ ke rāg – dveṣhādi bhāvo kṣhaṇik ane ākuḷatā lakṣhaṇavāḷā chhe; te sva – parane jāṇatā nathī; jyāre gnānasvabhāv to nitya ne shānta-anākuḷ chhe, sva – parane jāṇavāno teno svabhāv chhe. ā rīte bhinna lakṣhaṇadvārā gnānamay ātmā rāgādikathī bhinna chhe – em nakkī thāy chhe.2 māṭe ātmā paramārthe par – bhāvothī arthāt sharīrādik bāhya padārthothī tathā rāg – dveṣhādi antaraṅg pariṇāmothī vivikta chhe – bhinna chhe.
āgam ane yukti dvārā ātmānun shuddha svarūp jāṇī potānā trikāḷ shuddhātmānī sanmukh thatān āchāryane je shuddhātmāno anubhav thayo te anubhavathī teo vivikta ātmānun svarūp batāvavā māge chhe.
āchārya ātmānun svarūp kone batāvavā māge chhe? ātmānā atīndriy sukhanī ja jene spr̥uhā chhe – indriy – viṣhayasukhanī jene spr̥uhā nathī, tevā (jignāsu) bhavya jīvone ja āchārya vivikta ātmānun (shuddhātmānun) svarūp kahevā māge chhe.

कस्योपादानं कस्य वा त्यागः कर्तव्य इत्याशंक्याह —
टीका — बहिर्बहिरात्मा, अन्तः अन्तरात्मा, परश्च परमात्मा इति त्रिधा आत्मा त्रिप्रकार आत्मा । क्वा ? सर्वदेहिषु सकलप्राणिषु । ननु अभव्येषु बहिरात्मन एव सम्भवात् कथं सर्वदेहिषु त्रिधात्मा स्यात् ? इत्यप्यनुपपन्नं, तत्रापि द्रव्यरूपतया त्रिधात्मसद्भावोपपत्तेः कथं पुनस्तत्र e ātmānā bhedomān shā vaḍe konun grahaṇ ane kono tyāg karavā yogya chhe? evī āshaṅkā karī kahe chhe –
anvayārtha : (सर्वदेहिषु) sarva prāṇīomān (बहिः) bahirātmā, (अन्त) antarātmā (च परः) ane paramātmā (इति) em (त्रिधा) traṇ prakāre (आत्मा अस्ति) ātmā chhe. (तत्र) temān (मध्योपायात्) antarātmānā upāyadvārā (परमं) paramātmāne (उपेयात्) aṅgīkār karavo joīe ane (बहिः) bahirātmāne (त्यजेत्) chhoḍavo joīe.
ṭīkā : bahiḥ eṭale bahirātmā, antaḥ eṭale antarātmā ane paraḥ eṭale paramātmā – em tridhā eṭale traṇ prakāre ātmā chhe. te (prakāro) shāmān chhe? sarva dehīomān – sakal prāṇīomān.
abhavyomān bahirātmāno ja sambhav hovāthī sarva dehīomān traṇ prakārano ātmā chhe em kevī rīte hoī shake?
em kahevun paṇ yogya nathī kāraṇ ke tyān paṇ (abhavyamān paṇ) dravyarūpapaṇāthī traṇ prakāranā ātmāno sadbhāv ghaṭe chhe. vaḷī tyān pāñch gnānāvaraṇ (karmo)nī upapatti kevī ✾तिपयारो सो अप्पा परमंतरबाहिरो हु देहीणं ।

पंचज्ञानावरणान्युपपद्यन्ते ? केवलज्ञानाद्याविर्भावसामग्री हि तत्र कदापि न भविष्यतित्यभव्यत्वं, न पुनः तद्योग्यद्रव्यस्याभावादिति । भव्यराश्यपेक्षया वा सर्वदेहिग्रहणं । आसन्नदूरदूरतरभव्येषु भव्यसमानअभव्येषु च सर्वेषु त्रिधाऽऽत्मा विद्यत इति । तर्हि सर्वज्ञे परमात्मन एव सद्भावाद्बहिरन्तरात्मोरभावात्त्रिधात्मनो विरोध इत्यप्ययुक्तम् । भूतपूर्वप्रज्ञापननयापेक्षया तत्र तद्विरोधासिद्धेः घृतघटवत् । यो हि सर्वज्ञावस्थायां परमात्मा सम्पन्नः स पूर्वबहिरात्मा अन्तरात्मा चासीदिति । घृतघटवदन्तरात्मनोऽपि बहिरात्मत्वं परमात्मत्वं च भूतभाविप्रज्ञापन – नयापेक्षया दृष्टव्यम् । तत्र कुतः कस्योपादानं कस्य वात्यागः कर्तव्य इत्याह – उपेयादिति । तत्र तेषु त्रिधात्मसु मध्ये उपेयात् स्वीकुर्यात् । परमं परमात्मानं । कस्मात् ? मध्योपायात् मध्योऽन्तरात्मा स एवोपायस्तस्मात् । तथा बहिः बहिरात्मानं मध्योपायादेव त्यजेत् ।।४।। rīte ghaṭī shake? kevalagnānādinā pragaṭ thavārūp sāmagrī ja temane kadāpi thavānī nathī tethī temanāmān abhavyapaṇun chhe, paṇ nahi ke tadyogya dravyanā abhāvathī (abhavyapaṇun chhe); athavā bhavyarāshinī apekṣhāe sarva dehīonun grahaṇ samajavun. āsanna bhavya, dūr bhavya, dūratar bhavyamān tathā abhavya jevā bhavyomān – sarvemān traṇ prakārano ātmā chhe.
to sarvagnamān paramātmāno ja sadbhāv hovāthī ane (temān) bahirātmāno ane antarātmāno asadbhāv hovāthī temān (siddhamān) traṇ prakāranā ātmāno virodh āvashe?
em kahevun paṇ yogya nathī, kāraṇ ke bhūtapūrva1 pragnāpan – nayanī apekṣhāe temān ghr̥utaghaṭavat te virodhanī asiddhi chhe (temān virodh āvato nathī). je sarvagna avasthāmān paramātmā thayā, te pūrve bahirātmā tathā antarātmā hatā.
ghr̥utaghaṭanī jem bhūt – bhāvi pragnāpan – nayanī apekṣhāe antarātmāne paṇ bahirātmapaṇun ane paramātmapaṇun samajavun.
e traṇemānthī konun shā vaḍe grahaṇ karavun ke kono tyāg karavo te kahe chhe. grahaṇ karavun eṭale temān te traṇ prakāranā ātmāone viṣhe paramātmāno svīkār (grahaṇ) karavo. kevī rīte? madhya upāyathī – madhya eṭale antarātmā te ja upāy chhe te dvārā (paramātmānun grahaṇ karavun) tathā madhya (antarātmārūp) upāyathī ja bahirātmāno tyāg karavo. uttaraḥ je jīv agnānī bahirātmā chhe temān paṇ antarātmā ane paramātmā thavānī shakti chhe. bhavya ane abhavya jīvomān paṇ kevalagnānādirūp paramātmashakti chhe. jo te shakti temanāmān na hoy, to tene pragaṭ na thavāmān nimittarūp kevaḷagnānāvaraṇādi karma paṇ na hovān joīe, paṇ bahirātmāne (abhavyane paṇ) kevalagnānāvaraṇādi karma to chhe; tethī spaṣhṭa chhe ke bahirātmāmān (bhavya ke abhavyamān) kevalagnānādi shaktipaṇe chhe. abhavyane te shakti pragaṭ karavā jeṭalī yogyatā nathī.
anādithī badhā jīvomān kevalagnānādirūp paramasvabhāv shaktirūpe chhe. te svabhāvanān shraddhāgnān karī temān līn thāy to te kevalagnānādi shaktio pragaṭ thaī jāy ane kevalagnānāvaraṇādi karmo svayam chhūṭī jāy.
shrīmad rājachandre kahyun chhe ke –
badhāy jīvo shaktipaṇe paripūrṇa siddha bhagavān jevā chhe, paṇ je potānī trikāl shuddha chaitanyasvarūp svabhāvashaktine samyak prakāre samaje, tenī pratīt kare ane temān sthiratā kare, te paramātmadashā pragaṭ karī shake.
vartamānamān je dharmī antarātmā chhe tene pūrve agnān dashāmān bahirātmapaṇun hatun ne have alpa kāḷamān paramātmapaṇun pragaṭ thashe.
paramātmapadane prāpta thayelā shrī arihant ane siddha bhagavānane paṇ pūrve bahirātmadashā hatī. teo potānī svābhāvik shaktinī pratīti karī je samaye svabhāvasanmukh thayā te samaye temanun bahirātmapaṇun ṭaḷī gayun ane antarātmadashā pragaṭ thaī ane pachhī ugra puruṣhārtha karī svabhāvamān līn thaī paramātmā thayā.

bāhya sharīrādi, vibhāvabhāv tathā apūrṇadashāmān je ātmabuddhi kare chhe arthāt tenī sāthe ekatānī buddhi kare chhe te bahirātmā chhe. te ātmānun vāstavik svarūp bhūlī bahāramān kāyā ane kaṣhāyomān mārāpaṇun māne chhe, tene bhāvakarma ane dravyakarma sāthe ekatābuddhi chhe; tenāthī ja potāne lābh – hāni māne chhe. te mithyādraṣhṭi jīv anādikālathī sansāraparibhramaṇanān duḥkhothī piḍāy chhe. antarātmā
jene sharīrādithī bhinna gnānānandasvarūp ātmānun bhān chhe te antarātmā chhe. tene sva – paranun bhedagnān chhe. tene evo vivek varte chhe ke ‘hun gnān – darshanarūp chhun; ek shāshvat ātmā ja māro chhe, bākīnā sanyogalakṣhaṇarūp arthāt vyavahārarūp je bhāvo chhe te badhā mārāthī bhinna chhe – mārāthī bāhya chhe.’ āvo samyagdraṣhṭi ātmā mokṣhamārgamān sthit chhe. paramātmā
jeṇe anantagnān – darshanādirūp chaitanya – shaktione pūrṇapaṇe vikās karī sarvagnapad prāpta karyun chhe te paramātmā chhe. 4.

टीका — शरीरादौ शरीरे आदिशब्दाद्वाङ्मनसोरेव ग्रहणं तत्र जाता आत्मेतिभ्रान्तिर्यस्य स बहिरात्मा भवति । आन्तरः अन्तर्भवः । तत्र भव इत्यणष्टेर्भमात्रे टि लोपमित्यस्याऽनित्यत्वं येषां च विरोधः शाश्वतिक इति निर्देशात् अन्तरे वा भव आन्तरोऽन्तरात्मा । स कथं भूतो भवति ? चित्तदोषात्मविभ्रान्तिः चित्तं च विकल्पो, दोषाश्च रागादयः, आत्मा च शुद्धं चेतनाद्रव्यं तेषु विगता विनष्टा भ्रान्तिर्यस्य । चित्तं चित्तत्वेन बुध्यते दोषाश्च दोषत्वेन आत्मा आत्मत्वेनेत्यर्थः । चित्तदोषेषु वा विगता आत्मेति भ्रान्तिर्यस्य । परमात्मा भवति किं विशिष्टः ? अतिनिर्मलः प्रक्षीणाशेषकर्ममलः ।।५।। utpanna thaī chhe te ‘bahirātmā’ chhe; (चित्तदोषात्मविभ्रातिः अन्तरः) chitta (vikalpo), rāgādi doṣho ane ātmā (shuddha chetanādravya)nā viṣhayamān jene bhrānti nathī (arthāt je chittane chittarūpe, doṣhone doṣharūpe ane ātmāne ātmārūpe jāṇe chhe) te ‘antarātmā’ chhe; (अतिनिर्मलः परमात्मा) je sarva karmamalathī rahit atyant nirmaḷ chhe te ‘paramātmā’ chhe.
ṭīkā : sharīr ādimān – sharīramān ane ‘ādi’ shabdathī vāṇī ane mananun ja grahaṇ samajavun, temān jene ‘ātmā’ evī bhrānti utpanna thaī chhe te bahirātmā chhe. antarbhav athavā antare bhav te āntar arthāt antarātmā. te (antarātmā) kevo chhe? te chitta, doṣh ane ātmā sambandhī bhrānti vināno chhe – chitta eṭale vikalpa, doṣh eṭale rāgādi ane ātmā eṭale shuddha chetanā dravya – temān jenī bhrānti nāsh pāmī chhe te – arthāt je chittane chittarūpe, doṣhane doṣharūpe ane ātmāne ātmārūpe jāṇe chhe te antarātmā chhe, athavā chitta ane doṣhomān ‘ātmā’ mānavārūp bhrānti jene jatī rahī chhe te (antarātmā) chhe.
paramātmā kevā hoy chhe? ati nirmaḷ chhe arthāt jeno asheṣh (samasta) karmamal nāsh pāmyo chhe te (paramātmā) chhe. (5)
bhāvārtha : je sharīrādi bāhya padārthomān ātmānī bhrānti kare chhe – tene ja ātmā māne chhe – te ‘bahirātmā’ chhe; vikalpo, rāgādi doṣho ane chaitanyasvarūp ātmānā viṣhayamān jene bhrānti nathī, arthāt je vikārane vikārarūpe ane ātmāne ātmārūpe – ekabījāthī bhinna samaje chhe te ‘antarātmā’ chhe; je rāgādi doṣhothī sarvathā rahit chhe – atyant nirmaḷ chhe ane sarvagna chhe te ‘paramātmā’ chhe.

vaḷī ā sharīrādi jaḍ padārtho pragaṭapaṇe ātmāthī judā chhe, te koī padārtho ātmānā nathī – ātmāthī par (bhinna) ja chhe, chhatān tene potānā mānavā, temaj sharīranī bolavāchālavā vagerenī kriyā hun karun chhun, mane tenāthī lābh – alābh thāy chhe; ā sharīr mārun, hun puruṣh, hun strī, hun rājā, hun raṅk, hun rāgī, hun dveṣhī, hun dhoḷo, hun kāḷo – em bāhya padārthothī potānā ātmāne bhinna nahi jāṇato te par padārthone ja ātmā māne chhe ane mokṣhamārgamān prayojanabhūt jīv ajīvādi tattvonā svarūpamān bhrāntithī pravarte chhe te jīv ‘bahirātmā’ chhe.
par padārthomān ātmabhrāntine līdhe ā agnānī jīv viṣhayonī chāharūp dāvānalamān rātadin jalato rahe chhe, ātmashānti khoī bese chhe, atīndriy chaitanya ātmāne bhūlī bāhya indriy – viṣhayomān mūrchhāī jāy chhe ane ākulatā rahit mokṣha – sukhanī prāpti māṭe koī prayatna karato nathī.
chaitanya lakṣhaṇavāḷo jīv chhe ane tenāthī viparīt lakṣhaṇavāḷo ajīv chhe; ātmāno svabhāv gnātā – draṣhṭā chhe, amūrtik chhe ane sharīrādik paradravya chhe, pudgalapiṇḍarūp chhe, jaḍ chhe, vināshīk chhe; te mārān nathī ane hun teno nathī – evun bhedagnān karanār samyagdraṣhṭi ‘antarātmā’ chhe.
vaḷī te jāṇe chhe ke, ‘hun dehathī bhinna chhun, dehādik mārā nathī, māro to ek gnānadarshan lakṣhaṇarūp shāshvat ātmā ja chhe, bākīnā sanyog lakṣhaṇavāḷā (vyāvahārik bhāvo) je koī bhāvo chhe te badhāy mārāthī bhinna chhe; ātmānā āshraye je gnān – vairāgyarūp bhāv pragaṭe chhe te samvar – nirjarā – mokṣhanun kāraṇ hoī mane hitarūp chhe ane bāhya padārthone āshraye je rāgādi bhāvo thāy chhe te āsrav – bandharūp hoī sansāranun kāraṇ chhe, mane te ahitarūp chhe.’ ā rīte jīvādi tattvone jem chhe tem jāṇīne tenī sāchī pratīti karīne je potānā gnānānand – svarūp ātmāmān ja antarmukh thaīne varte chhe te ‘antarātmā’ chhe.

antarātmānā traṇ bhed chhe – uttam antarātmā, madhyam antarātmā ane jaghanya antarātmā.
antaraṅg – bahiraṅg parigrahothī rahit shuddhopayogī ātmadhyānī digambar muni ‘uttam antarātmā’ chhe. ‘ā mahātmā soḷ kaṣhāyonā abhāvadvārā kṣhīṇamoh padavīne prāpta karīne sthit chhe.’
chothā guṇasthānavartī vratarahit samyagdraṣhṭi ātmā ‘jaghanya antarātmā’ kahevāy chhe. ā benī (jaghanya antarātmā ane uttam antarātmānī) madhyamān rahelā sarve ‘madhyam antarātmā’ chhe, arthāt pāñchamānthī agiyāramā guṇasthānavartī jīvo madhyam antarātmā chhe.1
jemaṇe anantagnān – darshanādirūp chaitanya shaktiono pūrṇapaṇe vikās karī sarvagnapad prāpta karyun chhe te ‘paramātmā’ chhe.
paramātmānā be prakār chhe — sakal paramātmā ane nikal paramātmā.
arahant paramātmā te sakal paramātmā chhe ane siddha paramātmā te nikal paramātmā chhe, teo kevalagnānādi anantachatuṣhṭayathī sahit chhe.
arahant paramātmāne chār aghāti karmo bākī chhe. teno kṣhaṇe kṣhaṇe kṣhay thato jāy chhe. temane bahāramān samavasaraṇādi divya vaibhav hoy chhe. temane ichchhā vinā bhavya jīvone kalyāṇarūp divya dhvani chhūṭe chhe. teo param hitopadeshak chhe. param audārik sharīranā sanyog sahit hovāthī teo sakal (kal – sharīr sahit) paramātmā kahevāy chhe.
je gnānāvaraṇādi dravyakarma, rāgādi bhāvakarma ane sharīrādi nokarmathī rahit chhe, shuddhagnānamay chhe, audārik sharīr (kal) rahit chhe, te nirdoṣh ane param pūjya siddha parameṣhṭhī ‘nikal paramātmā’ kahevāy chhe. teo anantakāḷ sudhī anant sukh bhogave chhe.

स्थानशीलः । परात्मा संसारिजीवेभ्य उत्कृष्ट आत्मा । इति शब्दः प्रकारार्थे । एवंप्रकारा ये शब्दास्ते परमात्मनो वाचकाः । परमात्मेत्यादिना तानेव दर्शयति । परमात्मा सकलप्राणिभ्य उत्तम आत्मा । ईश्वर इंद्राद्यसम्भविना अन्तरङ्गबहिरङ्गेण परमैश्वर्येण सदैव सम्पन्नः । जिनः सकलकर्मोन्मूलकः ।।६।।
इदानीं बहिरात्मनो देहस्यात्मत्वेनाध्यवसाये कारणमुपदर्शयन्नाह — vandya – evun moṭun pad – temān je rahe chhe te sthānashīl parameṣhṭhī, parātmā eṭale sansārī jīvothī utkr̥uṣhṭa ātmā – evā prakāranā je shabdo chhe te paramātmānā vāchak chhe,
‘paramātmā’ ityādithī temane ja darshāvāy chhe. paramātmā eṭale sarva prāṇīomān uttam ātmā, īshvar eṭale indrādine asambhavit evā antaraṅg – bahiraṅg param aishvaryathī sadāy sampanna; jin – sarvakarmono mūlamānthī nāsh karanār — (ityādi paramātmānān anant nām chhe).
bhāvārtha : nirmaḷ, kevaḷ, shuddha, vivikta, prabhu, avyay, parameṣhṭhī, paramātmā, īshvar, jin vagere nāmo paramātmā – vāchak chhe.
ā nāmo paramātmānā svarūpane batāve chhe. te svarūpane oḷakhīne potānā ātmāne paṇ tevā svarūpe chintavavo te paramātmā thavāno upāy chhe.
ātmāmān shaktirūpe rahelā guṇonun jīvane bhān thāy teṭalā māṭe bhinna bhinna guṇavāchak nāmothī paramātmānī oḷakhāṇ karāvī chhe.
ātmā chaitanyādi anant guṇono piṇḍ chhe. ā guṇo bhagavānamān pūrṇapaṇe vikasit thaī gayā chhe, tethī te guṇonī apekṣhāe teo anek nāmothī oḷakhāy chhe.
paramātmāne guṇ apekṣhāe jeṭalān nām lāgu paḍe chhe te badhāy nāmo ā ātmāne paṇ svabhāv apekṣhāe lāgu paḍe chhe, kāraṇ ke shakti apekṣhāe banne ātmāo samān chhe; temān kāī pher nathī. je paramātmānā guṇone1 barābar oḷakhe chhe te potānā ātmānā svarūpane jāṇyā vagar rahe nahi. jeṭalā guṇo paramātmāmān chhe teṭalā ja guṇo darek ātmāmān chhe. potānā trikālī ātmānī sanmukh thaīne temano pūrṇapaṇe vikās karīne ā ātmā paṇ paramātmā thaī shake chhe. 6.

टीका — इन्द्रियद्वारैरिन्द्रियमुखैः कृत्वा स्फु रितो बहिरर्थग्रहणे व्यापृतः सन् बहिरात्मा मूढात्मा । आत्मज्ञानपराङ्मुखो जीवस्वरूपज्ञानाद्वहिर्भूतो भवति । तथाभूतश्च सन्नसौ किं करोति ? स्वात्मनो देहमात्मत्वेनाध्यवस्यति आत्मीयशरीरमेवाहमिति प्रतिपद्यते ।।७।।
anvayārtha : (बहिरात्मा) bahirātmā (इन्द्रियद्वारैः) indriy dvārothī (स्फु रित) bāhya padārthone ja grahaṇ karavāmān pravr̥utta hovāthī (आत्मज्ञानपराङ्मुखः) ātmagnānathī parāṅmukh – vañchit hoy chhe; tethī te (आत्मनः देह) potānā sharīrane (आत्मत्वेन अध्यवस्यति) mithyā abhiprāyapūrvak ātmārūp samaje chhe.
ṭīkā : indriyorūp dvārothī arthāt indriyorūp mukhathī bahāranā padārthonā grahaṇamān rokāyelo hovāthī te bahirātmā – mūḍhātmā chhe. te ātmagnānathī parāṅmukh arthāt jīvasvarūpanā gnānathī bahirbhūt chhe. tevo thayelo te (bahirātmā) shun kare chhe? potānā dehane ātmārūpe māne chhe arthāt potānun sharīr je ‘hun chhun’ evī mithyā mānyatā kare chhe.
bhāvārtha : bahirātmā indriyodvārā je bāhya mūrtik padārtho grahaṇ kare chhe tene mohavashāt potānā māne chhe. tene andar ātmatattvanun kāī paṇ gnān nathī; tethī te potānā sharīrane ja ātmā samaje chhe – arthāt sharīr, man ane vāṇīnī kriyā je jaḍanī kriyā chhe tene pote karī shake chhe ane teno pote svāmī chhe em māne chhe.
jīv trikālī gnānasvarūp chhe. tene bahirātmā agnānavash jāṇato nathī ane bāhya indriyagochar padārtho je mātra gneyarūp chhe temān iṣhṭa – aniṣhṭanī kalpanā karī potāne sukhī – duḥkhī, dhanavān – nirdhan, balavān – nirbal, surūp – kurūp, rājā – raṅk vagere hovānun māne chhe. ✽

mithyā abhiprāyavash agnānī māne chhe ke, ‘sharīr utpanna thavāthī māro janma thayo, sharīrano nāsh thavāthī hun marī jaīsh, sharīranī uṣhṇa avasthā thatān mane tāv āvyo, sharīranī bhūkh, taras, ādirūp avasthā thatān mane bhūkh – taras lāgī, sharīr kapāī jatān hun kapāī gayo, vagere.’ e rīte ajīvanī avasthāne te potānā ātmānī avasthā māne chhe.
‘‘........āpane āparūp jāṇī temān parano ansh paṇ na meḷavavo tathā potāno ansh paṇ paramān na meḷavavo – evun sāchun shraddhān karato nathī. jem anya mithyādraṣhṭi nirdhār vinā paryāyabuddhithī jāṇapaṇāmān vā varṇādimān ahambuddhi dhāre chhe, tem ā paṇ ātmāshrit gnānādimān tathā sharīrāshrit upadesh – upavāsādi kriyāomān potāpaṇun māne chhe...... vaḷī paryāyamān jīv – pudgalanā paraspar nimittathī anek kriyāo thāy chhe te sarvene be dravyonā meḷāpathī nīpajī māne chhe, paṇ ā jīvanī kriyā chhe temān pudgal nimitta chhe tathā ā pudgalanī kriyā chhe temān jīv nimitta chhe – em bhinna bhinna bhāv bhāsato nathī.......’’1
‘jenī mati agnānathī mohit chhe ane je moh, rāg, dveṣh ādi ghaṇā bhāvothī sahit chhe evā jīv em kahe chhe ke ā sharīrādi baddha tem ja dhan – dhānyādi abaddha pudgal dravya mārun chhe.’2
vaḷī sharīrādi bāhya padārthomān ekatābuddhi karavāthī agnānīne bhram thāy chhe ke ras, rūp, gandh, sparsha ane shabdanun je gnān thāy chhe te indriyothī thāy chhe tathā ghaṭapaṭādinun je gnān thāy chhe te bāhya padārthothī thāy chhe, paṇ tene khabar nathī ke jīvane je gnān thāy chhe te potānā gnānaguṇarūp upādān shaktithī thāy chhe. indriyo ane ghaṭ – paṭādi padārtho to jaḍ chhe. tenāthī gnān thāy nahi. te to gnān thavāmān nimittamātra chhe.
