टीका — अथवा आत्मानमेव चित्स्वरूपमेव चिदानन्दमयमुपास्य आत्मा परमः परमात्मा जायते । अमुमेवार्थं दृष्टान्तद्वारेण समर्थयमानः प्राह – मथित्वेत्यादि । यथाऽऽत्मानमेव मथित्वा घर्षयित्वा तरुरात्मां (?) तरुरूषः स्वभावः स्वत एवाग्निर्जायते ।।९८।।
anvayArtha : — (अथवा) athavA (आत्मा) AtmA (आत्मानं एव) potAnA AtmAnI ja (उपास्य) upAsanA karI (परमः) paramAtmA (जायते) thaI jAy chhe; (यथा) jem (तरुः) vAnsanun jhAD (आत्मानं) potAne (आत्मा एव) pote ja (मथित्वा) mathIne – ragaDIne (अग्निः) agnirUp (जायते) thaI jAy chhe tem.
