kyoṁki kāl acetan hai; isaliye jñānake aur kālake vyatirek hai. ākāś (ākāśadravya)
jñān nahīṁ hai, kyoṁki ākāś acetan hai; isaliye jñānake aur ākāśake vyatirek hai. adhyavasān
jñān nahīṁ hai, kyoṁki adhyavasān acetan hai; isaliye jñānake aur (karmodayakī pravr̥ttirūp)
adhyavasānake vyatirek hai
. isaprakār yoṁ jñānakā samasta paradravyoṁke sāth vyatirek niścayasādhit
dekhanā cāhie (arthāt niścayase siddha huā samajhanāanubhav karanā cāhie).
ab, jīv hī ek jñān hai, kyoṁki jīv cetan hai; isaliye jñānake aur jīvake avyatirek
(abhed) hai. aur jñānakā jīvake sāth vyatirek kiṁcitmātra bhī śaṁkā karane yogya nahīṁ hai
(arthāt jñānakī jīvase bhinnatā hogī aisī jarā bhī śaṁkā karane yogya nahīṁ hai), kyoṁki jīv svayaṁ
hī jñān hai
. aisā (jñān jīvase abhinna) honese, jñān hī samyagdr̥ṣṭi hai, jñān hī saṁyam hai, jñān
hī aṁgapūrvarūp sūtra hai, jñān hī dharma-adharma (arthāt puṇya-pāp) hai, jñān hī pravrajyā (dīkṣā,
niścayacāritra) haiisaprakār jñānakā jīvaparyāyoṁke sāth bhī avyatirek niścayasādhit dekhanā
(arthāt niścay dvārā siddha huā samajhanāanubhav karanā) cāhie.
ab, isaprakār sarva paradravyoṁke sāth vyatirekake dvārā aur sarva darśanādi
jīvasvabhāvoṁke sāth avyatirekake dvārā ativyāptiko aur avyāptiko dūr karatā huā,
anādi vibhram jisakā mūl hai aise dharma-adharmarūp (puṇya-pāparūp, śubh-aśubharūp,)
parasamayako dūr karake, svayaṁ hī pravrajyārūpako prāpta karake (arthāt svayaṁ hī niścayacāritrarūp
dīkṣābhāvako prāpta karake), darśan-jñān-cāritrameṁ sthitirūp svasamayako prāpta karake,
mokṣamārgako apanemeṁ hī pariṇat karake, jisane sampūrṇa vijñānaghanasvabhāvako prāpta kiyā hai
aisā, tyāgagrahaṇase rahit, sākṣāt samayasārabhūt paramārtharūp śuddhajñān ek avasthit

hānopādānaśūnyaṁ sākṣātsamayasārabhūtaṁ paramārtharūpaṁ śuddhaṁ jñānamekamavasthitaṁ draṣṭavyam .
(niścal) dekhanā (arthāt pratyakṣa svasaṁvedanase anubhav karanā) cāhie.
bhāvārtha :yahān̐ jñānako samasta paradravyoṁse bhinna aur apanī paryāyoṁse abhinna batāyā
hai, isalie ativyāpti aur avyāpti nāmak lakṣaṇ-doṣ dūr ho gaye. ātmākā lakṣaṇ upayog
hai, aur upayogameṁ jñān pradhān hai; vah (jñān) anya acetan dravyoṁmeṁ nahīṁ hai, isaliye vah
ativyāptivālā nahīṁ hai, aur apanī sarva avasthāoṁmeṁ hai; isalie avyāptivālā nahīṁ hai
. isaprakār
jñānalakṣaṇ kahanese ativyāpti aur avyāpti doṣ nahīṁ āte.
yahān̐ jñānako hī pradhān karake ātmākā adhikār hai, kyoṁki jñānalakṣaṇase hī ātmā
sarva paradravyoṁse bhinna anubhavagocar hotā hai. yadyapi ātmāmeṁ ananta dharma haiṁ, tathāpi unameṁse
kitane hī to chadmasthake anubhavagocar hī nahīṁ haiṁ. un dharmoṁke kahanese chadmastha jñānī
ātmāko kaise pahicān sakatā hai ? aur kitane hī dharma anubhavagocar haiṁ, parantu unameṁse
kitane hī to
astitva, vastutva, prameyatva ādi toanya dravyoṁke sāth sāmānya arthāt
samān hī haiṁ, isaliye unake kahanese pr̥thak ātmā nahīṁ jānā jā sakatā, aur kitane hī
(dharma) paradravyake nimittase huye haiṁ unheṁ kahanese paramārthabhūt ātmākā śuddha svarūp kaise jānā
jā sakatā hai ? isalie jñānake kahanese hī chadmastha jñānī ātmāko pahicān sakatā hai
.
yahān̐ jñānako ātmākā lakṣaṇ kahā hai itanā hī nahīṁ, kintu jñānako hī ātmā kahā
hai; kyoṁki abhedavivakṣāmeṁ guṇaguṇīkā abhed honese, jñān hai so hī ātmā hai. abhedavivakṣāmeṁ
cāhe jñān kaho yā ātmākoī virodh nahīṁ hai; isaliye yahān̐ jñān kahanese ātmā hī
samajhanā cāhie.
ṭīkāmeṁ antameṁ yah kahā gayā hai kijo, apanemeṁ anādi ajñānase honevālī
śubhāśubh upayogarūp parasamayakī pravr̥ttiko dūr karake, samyagdarśan-jñān-cāritrameṁ pravr̥ttirūp
svasamayako prāpta karake, aise svasamayarūp pariṇamanasvarūp mokṣamārgameṁ apaneko pariṇamit
karake, sampūrṇavijñānaghanasvabhāvako prāpta huā hai, aur jisameṁ koī tyāg-grahaṇ nahīṁ hai, aise
sākṣāt samayasārasvarūp, paramārthabhūt, niścal rahā huā, śuddha, pūrṇa jñānako (pūrṇa
ātmadravyako) dekhanā cāhie
. yahān̐ ‘dekhanā’ tīn prakārase samajhanā cāhie. (1) śuddhanayakā
jñān karake pūrṇa jñānakā śraddhān karanā so pratham prakārakā dekhanā hai. vah avirat ādi
avasthāmeṁ bhī hotā hai. (2) jñān-śraddhān honeke bād bāhya sarva parigrahakā tyāg karake
usakā (pūrṇa jñānakā) abhyās karanā, upayogako jñānameṁ hī sthir karanā, jaisā śuddhanayase

apane svarūpako siddha samān jānā-śraddhān kiyā thā vaisā hī dhyānameṁ lekar cittako

sthir karanā, aur punaḥ punaḥ usīkā abhyās karanā, so dūsare prakārakā dekhanā hai.
isaprakārakā dekhanā apramattadaśāmeṁ hotā hai. jahān̐ tak us prakārake abhyāsase kevalajñān
utpanna na ho vahān̐ tak aisā abhyās nirantar rahatā hai. yah, dekhanekā dūsarā prakār huā.
yahān̐ tak to pūrṇa jñānakā śuddhanayake āśrayase parokṣa dekhanā hai. aur (3) jab kevalajñān
utpanna hotā hai tab sākṣāt dekhanā hai, so yah tīsare prakārakā dekhanā hai. us sthitimeṁ jñān
sarva vibhāvoṁse rahit hotā huā sabakā jñātā-draṣṭā hai, isalie yah tīsare prakārakā dekhanā
pūrṇa jñānakā pratyakṣa dekhanā hai

ab, is arthakā kalaśarūp kāvya kahate haiṁ :
ślokārtha :[anyebhyaḥ vyatiriktam ] anya dravyoṁse bhinna, [ātma-niyataṁ ] apanemeṁ
hī niyat, [pr̥thak-vastutām-bibhrat ] pr̥thak vastutvako dhāraṇ karatā huā (vastukā
svarūp sāmānyaviśeṣātmak honese svayaṁ bhī sāmānyaviśeṣātmakatāko dhāraṇ karatā huā),
[ādān-ujjhan-śūnyam ] grahaṇatyāgase rahit, [etat amalaṁ jñānaṁ ] yah amal (
rāgādik
malase rahit) jñān [tathā-avasthitam yathā ] isaprakār avasthit (niścal) anubhavameṁ ātā
hai ki jaise [madhya-ādi-aṁt-vibhāg-mukta-sahaj-sphār-prabhā-bhāsuraḥ asya śuddha-jñān-ghanaḥ

ādi-madhya-antarūp vibhāgoṁse rahit aisī sahaj phai lī huī prabhāke dvārā dedīpyamān
aisī usakī śuddhajñānaghanasvarūp mahimā [nitya-uditaḥ-tiṣṭhati ] nitya-udit rahe (

jñānakī puṁjarūp mahimā sadā udayamān rahe).
bhāvārtha :jñānakā pūrṇa rūp sabako jānanā hai. vah jab pragaṭ hotā hai tab sarva
viśeṣaṇoṁse sahit pragaṭ hotā hai; isalie usakī mahimāko koī bigāṛ nahīṁ sakatā, vah
sadā udit rahatī hai

‘aise jñānasvarūp ātmākā ātmāmeṁ dhāraṇ karanā so yahī grahaṇ karane yogya sab kuch

bhāvārtha :pūrṇajñānasvarūp, sarva śaktiyoṁkā samūharūp jo ātmā hai use ātmāmeṁ dhāraṇ
kar rakhanā so yahī, jo kuch tyāgane yogya thā us sabako tyāg diyā aur grahaṇ karane yogya
jo kuch thā use grahaṇ kiyā hai
. yahī kr̥takr̥tyatā hai.236.
‘aise jñānako deh hī nahīṁ hai’is arthakā, āgāmī gāthākā sūcak ślok kahate haiṁ :
ślokārtha :[evaṁ jñānam paradravyāt vyatiriktaṁ avasthitam ] isaprakār (pūrvokta rītise)
jñān paradravyase pr̥thak avasthit (niścal rahā huā) hai; [tat āhārakaṁ katham syāt yen asya
dehaḥ śaṁkyate ] vah (jñān) āhārak (arthāt karma-nokarmarūp āhār karanevālā) kaise ho sakatā
hai ki jisase usake dehakī śaṁkā kī jā sake ? (jñānake deh ho hī nahīṁ sakatī, kyoṁki usake
karma-nokarmarūp āhār hī nahīṁ hai

ṭīkā :jñān paradravyako kiṁcitmātra bhī na to grahaṇ karatā hai aur na choṛatā hai,
kyoṁki prāyogik (arthāt par nimittase utpanna) guṇakī sāmarthyase tathā vaisrasik (arthāt
svābhāvik) guṇakī sāmarthyase jñānake dvārā paradravyakā grahaṇ tathā tyāg karanā aśakya hai
. aur,
(karma-nokarmādirūp) paradravya jñānakāamūrtik ātmadravyakāāhār nahīṁ hai, kyoṁki vah
mūrtik pudgaladravya hai; (amūrtikake mūrtik āhār nahīṁ hotā). isaliye jñān āhārak nahīṁ hai.
isaliye jñānake dehakī śaṁkā na karanī cāhie.
(yahān̐ ‘jñān’ se ‘ātmā’ samajhanā cāhie; kyoṁki, abhed vivakṣāse lakṣaṇameṁ hī
lakṣyakā vyavahār kiyā jātā hai. is nyāyase ṭīkākār ācāryadev ātmāko jñān hī kahate
āye haiṁ.)
bhāvārtha :jñānasvarūp ātmā amūrtik hai aur āhār to karma-nokarmarūp pudgalamay
mūrtik hai; isalie paramārthataḥ ātmāke pudgalamay āhār nahīṁ hai. aur ātmākā aisā hī
svabhāv hai ki vah paradravyako kadāpi grahaṇ nahīṁ karatā;svabhāvarūp pariṇamit ho yā
vibhāvarūp pariṇamit ho,apane hī pariṇāmakā grahaṇ-tyāg hotā hai, paradravyakā grahaṇ-tyāg
to kiṁcitmātra bhī nahīṁ hotā.
isaprakār ātmāke āhār na honese usake deh hī nahīṁ hai..404 se 407..
jab ki ātmāke deh hai hī nahīṁ, isaliye pudgalamay dehasvarūp liṁg (veṣ, bāhya

niścay huā ki
dehamay liṁg mokṣamārga nahīṁ hai, paramārthataḥ darśanajñānacāritrarūp ātmā hī mokṣakā

bhāvārtha :jo mokṣa hai so sarva karmoke abhāvarūp ātmapariṇām (ātmāke pariṇām)
haiṁ, isaliye usakā kāraṇ bhī ātmapariṇām hī honā cāhie. darśan-jñān-cāritra ātmāke pariṇām
haiṁ; isaliye niścayase vahī mokṣakā mārga hai. jo liṁg hai so dehamay hai; aur jo deh hai vah
pudgaladravyamay hai; isaliye ātmāke liye deh mokṣamārga nahīṁ hai. paramārthase anya dravyako anya
dravya kuch nahīṁ karatā aisā niyam hai..410..
jab ki aisā hai (arthāt yadi dravyaliṁg mokṣamārga nahīṁ hai aur darśanajñānacāritra hī mokṣamārga
hai) to isaprakār (nimnaprakār) se karanā cāhieyah upadeś haiḥ
yoṁ choṛakar sāgār yā anagār-dhārit liṁgako.
cāritra-darśan-jñānameṁ tū joḍ re ! nij ātmako..411..
gāthārtha :[tasmāt ] isaliye [sāgāraiḥ ] sāgāroṁ dvārā (gr̥hasthoṁ dvārā) [anagārakaiḥ
vā ] athavā aṇagāroṁke dvārā (muniyoṁke dvārā) [gr̥hītāni ] grahaṇ kiye gaye [liṅgāni ]
liṁgoṁko [jahitvā ] choṛakar, [darśanajñānacāritre ] darśanajñānacāritrameṁ[mokṣapathe ] jo ki
mokṣamārga hai usameṁ[ātmānaṁ yuṁkṣva ] tū ātmāko lagā.
ṭīkā :kyoṁki dravyaliṁg mokṣamārga nahīṁ hai, isalie samasta dravyaliṁgakā tyāg karake

sāmānya paramārtha vacan hai. koī yah samajhegā ki yah muni-śrāvakake vratoṁke chuṛānekā upadeś

dravyaliṁgakā pakṣa chuṛānekā upadeś diyā hai kibhekhamātrase (veśamātrase, bāhyavratamātrase) mokṣa
nahīṁ hotā. paramārtha mokṣamārga to ātmāke pariṇām jo darśan-jñān-cāritra haiṁ vahī hai. vyavahār
ācārasūtrake kathanānusār jo muni-śrāvakake bāhya vrat haiṁ, ve vyavahārase niścayamokṣamārgake sādhak
haiṁ; un vratoṁko yahān̐ nahīṁ chuṛāyā hai, kintu yah kahā hai ki un vratoṁkā bhī mamatva choṛakar paramārtha
mokṣamārgameṁ laganese mokṣa hotā hai, keval veśamātrase
vratamātrase mokṣa nahīṁ hotā..411..

hai); [mumukṣuṇā mokṣamārgaḥ ekaḥ ev sadā sevyaḥ ] isaliye mokṣake icchuk puruṣako (yah
darśanajñānacāritrasvarūp) mokṣamārga ek hī sadā sevan karane yogya hai

(buddhike) doṣase paradravyameṁrāgadveṣādimeṁ nirantar sthit rahatā huā bhī, apanī prajñāke guṇ dvārā
hī usameṁse pīche haṭākar use ati niścalatā pūrvak darśan-jñān-cāritrameṁ nirantar sthāpit kar, tathā
samasta anya cintāke nirodh dvārā atyanta ekāgra hokar darśan-jñān-cāritrakā hī dhyān kar; tathā
samasta karmacetanā aur karmaphalacetanāke tyāg dvārā śuddhajñānacetanāmay hokar darśan-jñān-cāritrako
hī cet
anubhav kar; tathā dravyake svabhāvake vaśase (apaneko) pratikṣaṇ jo pariṇām utpanna
hote haiṁ unake dvārā [arthāt pariṇāmīpaneke dvārā tanmay pariṇāmavālā (darśanajñānacāritramay
pariṇāmavālā) hokar ] darśan-jñān-cāritrameṁ hī vihār kar; tathā jñānarūpako ekako hī acalatayā
avalamban karatā huā, jo jñeyarūp honese upādhisvarūp haiṁ aise sarva orase phai late hue samasta
paradravyoṁmeṁ kiṁcit mātra bhī vihār mat kar
.
bhāvārtha :paramārtharūp ātmāke pariṇām darśan-jñān-cāritra haiṁ; vahī mokṣamārga hai.
usīmeṁ (darśanajñānacāritrameṁ hī) ātmāko sthāpit karanā cāhie, usīkā dhyān karanā cāhie,
usīkā anubhav karanā cāhie aur usīmeṁ vihār (pravartan) karanā cāhie, anya dravyoṁmeṁ pravartan
nahīṁ karanā cāhie
. yahān̐ paramārthase yahī upadeś hai kiniścay mokṣamārgakā sevan karanā cāhie,
mātra vyavahārameṁ hī mūrḥ nahīṁ rahanā cāhie..412..
ab, isī arthakā kalaśarūp kāvya kahate haiṁ :

prāpta karatā hai arthāt sthit rahatā hai, [tam aniśaṁ dhyāyet ] usīkā nirantar dhyān karatā hai, [taṁ
cetati ]
usīko cetatā hai
usīkā anubhav karatā hai, [ca dravyāntarāṇi aspr̥śan tasmin ev
nirantaraṁ viharati ] aur anya dravyoṁko sparśa na karatā huā usīmeṁ nirantar vihār karatā hai [saḥ
nitya-udayaṁ samayasya sāram acirāt avaśyaṁ vindati ]
vah puruṣ, jisakā uday nitya rahatā hai
aise samayake sārako (arthāt paramātmāke rūpako) alpa kālameṁ hī avaśya prāpta karatā hai arthāt
usakā anubhav karatā hai
.
bhāvārtha :niścayamokṣamārgake sevanase alpa kālameṁ hī mokṣakī prāpti hotī hai, yah niyam
hai.240.
‘jo dravyaliṁgako hī mokṣamārga mānakar usameṁ mamatva rakhate haiṁ, unhoṁne samayasārako arthāt
śuddha ātmāko nahīṁ jānā’isaprakār gāthā dvārā kahate haiṁ.
yahān̐ pratham usakā sūcak kāvya kahate haiṁ :
ślokārtha :[ye tu enaṁ parihr̥tya saṁvr̥ti-path-prasthāpiten ātmanā dravyamaye liṁṅge mamatāṁ
vahanti ] jo puruṣ is pūrvokta paramārthasvarūp mokṣamārgako choṛakar vyavahāramokṣamārgameṁ sthāpit
apane ātmāke dvārā dravyamay liṁgameṁ mamatā karate haiṁ (arthāt yah mānate haiṁ ki yah dravyaliṁg hī
hameṁ mokṣa prāpta karā degā), [te tattva-avabodh-cyutāḥ adya api samayasya sāram na paśyanti ]
ve puruṣ tattvake yathārtha jñānase rahit hote hue abhī tak samayake sārako (arthāt śuddha ātmāko)
nahīṁ dekhate
anubhav nahīṁ karate. vah samayasār arthāt śuddhātmā kaisā hai ? [nitya-udyotam ]
nitya prakāśamān hai (arthāt koī pratipakṣī hokar usake udayakā nāś nahīṁ kar sakatā),
[akhaṇḍam ] akhaṇḍa hai (arthāt jisameṁ anya jñey ādike nimitta khaṇḍa nahīṁ hote), [ekam ]
ek hai (arthāt paryāyoṁse anek avasthārūp hone par bhī jo ekarūpatvako nahīṁ choṛatā),
[atul-ālokaṁ ] atul (
upamārahit) prakāśavālā hai, (kyoṁki jñānaprakāśako sūryādike
prakāśakī upamā nahīṁ dī jā sakatī), [svabhāv-prabhā-prāgbhāraṁ ] svabhāvaprabhākā puṁj hai (arthāt
caitanyaprakāśakā samūharūp hai), [amalaṁ ] amal hai (arthāt rāgādi-vikārarūpī malase rahit hai)

(isaprakār, jo dravyaliṁgameṁ mamatva karate haiṁ unhe niścay-kāraṇasamayasārakā anubhav nahīṁ
hai; tab phi ra unako kāryasamayasārakī prāpti kahān̐se hogī ?).241.

bahubhāṁtike muniliṁg jo athavā gr̥hasthīliṁg jo.

gāthārtha :[ye ] jo [bahuprakāreṣu ] bahut prakārake [pāṣaṇḍiliṅgeṣu vā ] muniliṁgoṁmeṁ
[gr̥hiliṅgeṣu vā ] athavā gr̥hasthaliṁgoṁmeṁ [mamatvaṁ kurvanti ] mamatā karate haiṁ (arthāt yah mānate haiṁ
ki yah dravyaliṁg hī mokṣakā dātā hai), [taiḥ samayasāraḥ na jñātaḥ ] unhoṁne samayasārako nahīṁ jānā
.
ṭīkā :jo vāstavameṁ ‘maiṁ śramaṇ hūn̐, maiṁ śramaṇopāsak (śrāvak) hūn̐’ isaprakār
dravyaliṁgameṁ mamatvabhāvake dvārā mithyā ahaṁkār karate haiṁ, ve anādirūrḥ (anādikālase samāgat)
vyavahārameṁ mūrḥ (mohī) hote hue, praurḥ vivekavāle niścay (
niścayanay) par ārūrḥ na hote hue,
paramārthasatya (jo paramārthase satyārtha hai aise) bhagavān samayasārako nahīṁ dekhateanubhav nahīṁ
karate.
bhāvārtha :anādikālīn paradravyake saṁyogase honevāle vyavahār hī meṁ jo puruṣ mūrḥ
arthāt mohit haiṁ, ve yah mānate haiṁ ki ‘yah bāhya mahāvratādirūp veś hī hameṁ mokṣa prāpta karā degā’,
parantu jisase bhedajñān hotā hai aise niścayako ve nahīṁ jānate
. aise puruṣ satyārtha, paramātmarūp,
śuddhajñānamay samayasārako nahīṁ dekhate..413..

(buddhi) vyavahārameṁ hī mohit hai aise puruṣ paramārthako nahīṁ jānate, [ih tuṣ-bodh-vimugdha-
buddhayaḥ tuṣaṁ kalayanti, na taṇḍulam ]
jaise jagatameṁ jinakī buddhi tuṣake jñānameṁ hī mohit hai
(
mohako prāpta huī hai) aise puruṣ tuṣako hī jānate haiṁ, taṁdul (cāval) ko nahīṁ jānate.
bhāvārtha :jo dhānake chilakoṁ par hī mohit ho rahe haiṁ, unhīṁko kūṭate rahate haiṁ,
unhoṁne cāvaloṁko jānā hī nahīṁ hai; isīprakār jo dravyaliṁg ādi vyavahārameṁ mugdha ho rahe haiṁ
(arthāt jo śarīrādikī kriyāmeṁ mamatva kiyā karate haiṁ), unhoṁne śuddhātmānubhavanarūp paramārthako
jānā nahīṁ hai; arthāt aise jīv śarīrādi paradravyako hī ātmā jānate haiṁ, ve paramārtha ātmāke
svarūpako jānate hī nahīṁ

ab, āgāmī gāthākā sūcak kāvya kahate haiṁ :
ślokārtha :[dravyaliṅga-mamakār-mīlitaiḥ samayasāraḥ ev na dr̥śyate ] jo dravyaliṁgameṁ
mamakārake dvārā aṁdhvivek rahit haiṁ, ve samayasārako hī nahīṁ dekhate; [yat ih dravyaliṁgam
kil anyataḥ ] kyoṁki is jagatameṁ dravyaliṁg to vāstavameṁ anya dravyase hotā hai, [idam
jñānam ev hi ekam svataḥ ]
mātra yah jñān hī nijase (ātmadravyase) hotā hai

bhāvārtha :jo dravyaliṁgameṁ mamatvake dvārā aṁdh hai unheṁ śuddhātmadravyakā anubhav hī

bhāvāt; yadev śramaṇaśramaṇopāsakavikalpātikrāntaṁ
draśijñaptipravr̥ttavr̥ttimātraṁ śuddhajñānamevaikamiti
nistuṣasaṁcetanaṁ paramārthaḥ, tasyaiv svayaṁ śuddhadravyānubhavanātmakatve sati paramārthatvāt . tato ye
vyavahāramev paramārthabuddhayā cetayante, te samayasāramev na saṁcetayante; ya ev paramārthaṁ paramārthabuddhayā
‘vyavahāranay hī muniliṁgako aur śrāvakaliṁgakodonoṁko mokṣamārga kahatā hai, niścayanay
kisī liṁgako mokṣamārga nahīṁ kahatā’yah gāthā dvārā kahate haiṁ :
vyavahāranay, in liṁg dvayako mokṣake pathameṁ kahe.

gāthārtha :[vyāvahārikaḥ nayaḥ punaḥ ] vyavahāranay [dve liṅge api ] donoṁ liṁgoṁko
[mokṣapathe bhaṇati ] mokṣamārgameṁ kahatā hai (arthāt vyavahāranay muniliṁg aur gr̥hīliṁgako mokṣamārga
kahatā hai); [niścayanayaḥ ] niścayanay [sarvaliṅgāni ] sabhī liṁgoṁko (arthāt kisī bhī liṁgako)
[mokṣapathe na icchati ] mokṣamārgameṁ nahīṁ mānatā

ṭīkā :śramaṇ aur śramaṇopāsakake bhedase do prakārake dravyaliṁg mokṣamārga haiṁ
isaprakārakā jo prarūpaṇ-prakār (arthāt isaprakārakī jo prarūpaṇā) vah keval vyavahār hī hai,
paramārtha nahīṁ, kyoṁki vah (prarūpaṇā) svayaṁ aśuddha dravyakī anubhavanasvarūp hai, isaliye usako
paramārthatākā abhāv hai; śramaṇ aur śramaṇopāsakake bhedoṁse atikrānta, darśanajñānameṁ pravr̥tta
pariṇatimātra (
mātra darśan-jñānameṁ pravartit huī pariṇatirūp) śuddha jñān hī ek haiaisā jo niṣtuṣ
(nirmal) anubhavan hī paramārtha hai, kyoṁki vah (anubhavan) svayaṁ śuddha dravyakā anubhavanasvarūp
honese usīke paramārthatva hai. isaliye jo vyavahārako hī paramārthabuddhise (paramārtha mānakar)
anubhav karate haiṁ, ve samayasārakā hī anubhav nahīṁ karate; jo paramārthako paramārthabuddhise anubhav karate
