bhAvArtha : — kShaNikavAdI kartA-bhoktAmen bhed mAnate hain, arthAt ve yah mAnate hain ki — pratham kShaNamen jo AtmA thA, vah dUsare kShaNamen nahIn hai . AchAryadev kahate hain ki — ham use kyA samajhAyen ? yah chaitanya hI usakA agnAn dUr kar degA — ki jo (chaitanya) anubhavagochar nitya hai . pratham kShaNamen jo AtmA thA, vahI dvitIy kShaNamen kahatA hai ki ‘main jo pahale thA vahI hUn’; isaprakArakA smaraNapUrvak pratyabhignAn AtmAkI nityatA batalAtA hai . yahAn bauddhamatI kahatA hai ki — ‘jo pratham kShaNamen thA, vahI main dUsare kShaNamen hUn’ aisA mAnanA vah to anAdikAlIn avidyAse bhram hai; yah bhram dUr ho to tattva siddha ho, aur samasta klesh miTe . usakA uttar dete huye kahate hain ki — ‘‘he bauddha ! tU yah jo tarka ( – dalIl) karatA hai, us sampUrNa tarkako karanevAlA ek hI AtmA hai yA anek AtmA hain ? aur tere sampUrNa tarkako ek hI AtmA sunatA hai aisA mAnakar tU tarka karatA hai yA sampUrNa tarka pUrNa hone tak anek AtmA badal jAte hain, aisA mAnakar tarka karatA hai ? yadi anek AtmA badal jAte hain, to tere sampUrNa tarkako to koI AtmA sunatA nahIn hai; tab phi ra tarka karanekA kyA prayojan hai ? 1yon anek prakArase vichAr karane par tujhe gnAt hogA ki AtmAko kShaNik mAnakar pratyabhignAnako bhram kah denA vah yathArtha nahIn hai . isaliye yah samajhanA chAhiye ki — AtmAko ekAntata nitya yA ekAntata anitya mAnanA vah donon bhram hain, vastusvarUp nahIn; ham (jain) kathanchit nityAnityAtmak vastusvarUp kahate hain vahI satyArtha hai .’’ .206.

shlokArtha : — [vRutti-ansh-bhedata ] vRuttyanshonke arthAt paryAyonke bhedake kAraN [atyantan vRuttimat-nAsh-kalpanAt ] ‘vRuttimAn arthAt dravya atyanta (sarvathA) naShTa ho jAtA hai’ aisI ka lpanAke dvArA [anya karoti ] ‘anya ka ratA hai aur [anya bhunkte ] anya bhogatA hai’ [iti ekAnta mA chakAstu ] aisA ekAnta prakAshit mat ka ro .

nahIn hai; yadi AtmA naShTa ho jAye to AdhArake binA sanskAr kaise rah sakatA hai ? aur yadi kadAchit
ek AtmA sanskAr chhoDatA jAye, to bhI us AtmAke sanskAr dUsare AtmAmen praviShTa ho jAyen, aisA
niyam nyAyasangat nahIn hai .
