shlokArtha : — [vastu ] ek vastu [svayam pariNAmina anya-vastuna ] svayam pariNamit hotI huI anya vastukA [kinchan api kurute ] kuchh bhI ka ra sakatI hai — [yat tu ] aisA jo mAnA jAtA hai, [tat vyAvahArik-daRushA ev matam ] vah vyavahAradRuShTise hI mAnA jAtA hai . [nishchayAt ] nishchayase [ih anyat kim api na asti ] is lok men anya vastuko anya vastu kuchh bhI nahIn (arthAt ek vastuko anya vastuke sAth kuchh bhI sambandha nahIn) hai .
bhAvArtha : — ek dravyake pariNamanamen anya dravyako nimitta dekhakar yah kahanA ki ‘anya dravyane yah kiyA’, vah vyavahAranayakI dRuShTise hI (ka hA jAtA) hai; nishchayase to us dravyamen anya dravyane kuchh bhI nahIn kiyA hai . vastuke paryAyasvabhAvake kAraN vastukA apanA hI ek avasthAse dUsarI avasthArUp pariNaman hotA hai; usamen anya vastu apanA kuchh bhI nahIn milA sakatI .
isase yah samajhanA chAhiye ki — paradravyarUp gney padArtha unake bhAvase pariNamit hote hain aur gnAyak AtmA apane bhAvarUp pariNaman karatA hai; ve ek-dUsarekA paraspar kuchh nahIn kar sakate . isaliye yah vyavahArase hI mAnA jAtA hai ki ‘gnAyak paradravyonko jAnatA hai’; nishchayase gnAyak to bas gnAyak hI hai .214.
