steṣvapyayamek ev bhūtārthaḥ . pramāṇaṁ tāvatparokṣaṁ pratyakṣaṁ ca . tatropāttānupāttaparadvāreṇ pravartamānaṁ parokṣaṁ, kevalātmapratiniyatatven pravartamānaṁ pratyakṣaṁ ca . tadubhayamapi pramātr̥pramāṇaprameyabhedasyānubhūy- mānatāyāṁ bhūtārtham, ath ca vyudastasamastabhedaikajīvasvabhāvasyānubhūyamānatāyāmabhūtārtham . nayastu dravyārthikaḥ paryāyārthikaśca . tatra dravyaparyāyātmake vastuni dravyaṁ mukhyatayānubhāvayatīti dravyārthikaḥ, paryāyaṁ mukhyatayānubhāvayatīti paryāyārthikaḥ . tadubhayamapi dravyaparyāyayoḥ paryāyeṇānubhūyamānatāyāṁ bhūtārtham, ath ca dravyaparyāyānālīḍhaśuddhavastumātrajīvasvabhāvasyānubhūyamānatāyāmabhūtārtham . nikṣepastu nām sthāpanā dravyaṁ bhāvaśca . tatrātadguṇe vastuni saṁjñākaraṇaṁ nām . so‘yamityanyatra pratinidhi- vyavasthāpanaṁ sthāpanā . vartamānatatparyāyādanyad dravyam . vartamānatatparyāyo bhāvaḥ . taccatuṣṭayaṁ abhūtārtha haiṁ, unameṁ bhī ātmā ek hī bhūtārtha hai (kyoṁki jñey aur vacanake bhedoṁse pramāṇādi anek bhedarūp hote haiṁ) . unameṁse pahale, pramāṇ doṁ prakārake haiṁ — parokṣa aur pratyakṣa . 1upātta aur kare so pratyakṣa hai . (pramāṇ jñān hai . vah pān̐c prakārakā hai — mati, śrut, avadhi, manaḥparyay aur keval . unameṁse mati aur śrutajñān parokṣa haiṁ, avadhi aur manaḥparyayajñān vikal-pratyakṣa haiṁ aur kevalajñān sakal-pratyakṣa hai . isaliye yah do prakārake pramāṇ haiṁ .) ve donoṁ pramātā, pramāṇ, prameyake bhedakā anubhav karanepar to bhūtārtha haiṁ, satyārtha haiṁ; aur jisameṁ sarva bhed gauṇ ho gaye haiṁ aise ek jīvake svabhāvakā anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha haiṁ, asatyārtha haiṁ .
nay do prakārake haiṁ — dravyārthik aur paryāyārthik . vahāṁ dravya-paryāyasvarūp vastumeṁ dravyakā mukhyatāse anubhav karāye so dravyārthik nay hai aur paryāyakā mukhyatāse anubhav karāye so paryāyārthik nay hai . yah donoṁ nay dravya aur paryāyakā paryāyase (bhedase, kramase) anubhav karane par to bhūtārtha haiṁ, satyārtha haiṁ; aur dravya tathā paryāy donoṁse anāliṁgit (āliṁgan nahīṁ kiyā huā) śuddhavastumātra jīvake (caitanyamātra) svabhāvakā anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha haiṁ, asatyārtha haiṁ .
nikṣepake cār bhed haiṁ — nām, sthāpanā, dravya aur bhāv . vastumeṁ jo guṇ na ho us guṇake nāmase (vyavahārake lie) vastukī saṁjñā karanā so nām nikṣep hai . ‘yah vah hai’ isaprakār anya vastumeṁ anya vastukā pratinidhitva sthāpit karanā ( – pratimārūp sthāpan karanā) so sthāpanā nikṣep hai . vartamānase anya arthāt atīt athavā anāgat paryāyase vastuko vartamānameṁ kahanā so dravya
