steṣhvapyayamek ev bhūtārthaḥ . pramāṇan tāvatparokṣhan pratyakṣhan cha . tatropāttānupāttaparadvāreṇ pravartamānan parokṣhan, kevalātmapratiniyatatven pravartamānan pratyakṣhan cha . tadubhayamapi pramātr̥upramāṇaprameyabhedasyānubhūy- mānatāyān bhūtārtham, ath cha vyudastasamastabhedaikajīvasvabhāvasyānubhūyamānatāyāmabhūtārtham . nayastu dravyārthikaḥ paryāyārthikashcha . tatra dravyaparyāyātmake vastuni dravyan mukhyatayānubhāvayatīti dravyārthikaḥ, paryāyan mukhyatayānubhāvayatīti paryāyārthikaḥ . tadubhayamapi dravyaparyāyayoḥ paryāyeṇānubhūyamānatāyān bhūtārtham, ath cha dravyaparyāyānālīḍhashuddhavastumātrajīvasvabhāvasyānubhūyamānatāyāmabhūtārtham . nikṣhepastu nām sthāpanā dravyan bhāvashcha . tatrātadguṇe vastuni sañgnākaraṇan nām . so‘yamityanyatra pratinidhi- vyavasthāpanan sthāpanā . vartamānatatparyāyādanyad dravyam . vartamānatatparyāyo bhāvaḥ . tachchatuṣhṭayan abhūtārtha hain, unamen bhī ātmā ek hī bhūtārtha hai (kyoṅki gney aur vachanake bhedonse pramāṇādi anek bhedarūp hote hain) . unamense pahale, pramāṇ don prakārake hain — parokṣha aur pratyakṣha . 1upātta aur kare so pratyakṣha hai . (pramāṇ gnān hai . vah pān̐ch prakārakā hai — mati, shrut, avadhi, manaḥparyay aur keval . unamense mati aur shrutagnān parokṣha hain, avadhi aur manaḥparyayagnān vikal-pratyakṣha hain aur kevalagnān sakal-pratyakṣha hai . isaliye yah do prakārake pramāṇ hain .) ve donon pramātā, pramāṇ, prameyake bhedakā anubhav karanepar to bhūtārtha hain, satyārtha hain; aur jisamen sarva bhed gauṇ ho gaye hain aise ek jīvake svabhāvakā anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha hain, asatyārtha hain .
nay do prakārake hain — dravyārthik aur paryāyārthik . vahān dravya-paryāyasvarūp vastumen dravyakā mukhyatāse anubhav karāye so dravyārthik nay hai aur paryāyakā mukhyatāse anubhav karāye so paryāyārthik nay hai . yah donon nay dravya aur paryāyakā paryāyase (bhedase, kramase) anubhav karane par to bhūtārtha hain, satyārtha hain; aur dravya tathā paryāy dononse anāliṅgit (āliṅgan nahīn kiyā huā) shuddhavastumātra jīvake (chaitanyamātra) svabhāvakā anubhav karanepar ve abhūtārtha hain, asatyārtha hain .
nikṣhepake chār bhed hain — nām, sthāpanā, dravya aur bhāv . vastumen jo guṇ na ho us guṇake nāmase (vyavahārake lie) vastukī sañgnā karanā so nām nikṣhep hai . ‘yah vah hai’ isaprakār anya vastumen anya vastukā pratinidhitva sthāpit karanā ( – pratimārūp sthāpan karanā) so sthāpanā nikṣhep hai . vartamānase anya arthāt atīt athavā anāgat paryāyase vastuko vartamānamen kahanā so dravya
