svayamevānubhūyamāne‘pi bhagavatyanubhūtyātmanyātmanyanādibandhavashāt paraiḥ samamekatvādhyavasāyen vimūḍhasyāyamahamanubhūtirityātmagnānan notplavate, tadabhāvādagnātakharashr̥uṅgashraddhānasamānatvāt shraddhānamapi notplavate, tadā samastabhāvāntaraviveken niḥshaṅk mavasthātumashakyatvādātmānucharaṇamanutplavamānan nātmānan sādhayatīti sādhyasiddheranyathānupapattiḥ .

anubhavamen ānepar bhī anādi bandhake vash par (dravyon)ke sāth ekatvake nishchayase mūḍh – agnānī janako ‘jo yah anubhūti hai vahī main hūn̐’ aisā ātmagnān udit nahīn hotā aur usake abhāvase, agnātakā shraddhān gadheke sīṅgake shraddhān samān hai isalie, shraddhān bhī udit nahīn hotā tab samasta anyabhāvoṅke bhedase ātmāmen niḥshaṅk sthir honekī asamarthatāke kāraṇ ātmākā ācharaṇ udit na honese ātmāko nahīn sādh sakatā . isaprakār sādhya ātmākī siddhikī anyathā anupapatti hai .
bhāvārtha : — sādhya ātmākī siddhi darshan-gnān-chāritrase hī hai, anya prakārase nahīn . kyoṅki : — pahale to ātmāko jāne ki yah jo jānanevālā anubhavamen ātā hai so main hūn̐ . isake bād usakī pratītirūp shraddhān hotā hai; kyoṅki jāne binā kisakā shraddhān karegā ? tatpashchāt samasta anyabhāvonse bhed karake apanemen sthir ho . — isaprakār siddhi hotī hai . kintu yadi jāne hī nahīn, to shraddhān bhī nahīn ho sakatā; aur aisī sthitimen sthiratā kahān̐ karegā ? isaliye yah nishchay hai ki anya prakārase siddhi nahīn hotī ..17-18..
ab, isī arthakā kalasharūp kāvya kahate hain : —
shlokārtha : — āchārya kahate hain ki — [anantachaitanyachihnan ] ananta (avinashvar) chaitanya jisakā chihna hai aisī [idam ātmajyotiḥ ] is ātmajyotikā [satatam anubhavāmaḥ ] ham nirantar anubhav karate hain, [yasmāt ] kyoṅki [anyathā sādhyasiddhiḥ na khalu na khalu ] usake anubhavake binā anya prakārase sādhya ātmākī siddhi nahīn hotī . vah ātmajyoti aisī hai ki [katham api samupāttatritvam api ekatāyāḥ apatitam ] jisane kisī prakārase tritva aṅgīkār
