bhAvArtha : — kShaNikavAdI kartA-bhoktAme.n bhed mAnate hai.n, arthAt ve yah mAnate hai.n ki — pratham kShaName.n jo AtmA thA, vah dUsare kShaName.n nahI.n hai . AchAryadev kahate hai.n ki — ham use kyA samajhAye.n ? yah chaitanya hI usakA aj~nAn dUr kar degA — ki jo (chaitanya) anubhavagochar nitya hai . pratham kShaName.n jo AtmA thA, vahI dvitIy kShaName.n kahatA hai ki ‘mai.n jo pahale thA vahI hU.N’; isaprakArakA smaraNapUrvak pratyabhij~nAn AtmAkI nityatA batalAtA hai . yahA.N bauddhamatI kahatA hai ki — ‘jo pratham kShaName.n thA, vahI mai.n dUsare kShaName.n hU.N’ aisA mAnanA vah to anAdikAlIn avidyAse bhram hai; yah bhram dUr ho to tattva siddha ho, aur samasta klesh miTe . usakA uttar dete huye kahate hai.n ki — ‘‘he bauddha ! tU yah jo tarka ( – dalIl) karatA hai, us sa.npUrNa tarkako karanevAlA ek hI AtmA hai yA anek AtmA hai.n ? aur tere sa.npUrNa tarkako ek hI AtmA sunatA hai aisA mAnakar tU tarka karatA hai yA sa.npUrNa tarka pUrNa hone tak anek AtmA badal jAte hai.n, aisA mAnakar tarka karatA hai ? yadi anek AtmA badal jAte hai.n, to tere sa.npUrNa tarkako to koI AtmA sunatA nahI.n hai; tab phi ra tarka karanekA kyA prayojan hai ? 1yo.n anek prakArase vichAr karane par tujhe j~nAt hogA ki AtmAko kShaNik mAnakar pratyabhij~nAnako bhram kah denA vah yathArtha nahI.n hai . isaliye yah samajhanA chAhiye ki — AtmAko ekAntataH nitya yA ekAntataH anitya mAnanA vah dono.n bhram hai.n, vastusvarUp nahI.n; ham (jain) katha.nchit nityAnityAtmak vastusvarUp kahate hai.n vahI satyArtha hai .’’ .206.
