vachan na pravarte, jemān vrat-shīlano upadesh hoy, potānun tathā paranun jethī
hit thāy evān mīṭhān – manohar – vairāgyaheturūp, svātmaprasanshā ane paranindā
rahit sanyamīne yogya vachan pravarte te vākyashuddhi chhe. e pramāṇe sanyamadharma
chhe. sanyamanā pāñch bhed kahyā chheḥ sāmāyik, chhedopasthāpanā, parihār-
vishuddhi, sūkṣhmasāmparāy ane yathākhyāt evā pāñch bhed chhe. temanun visheṣh
vyākhyān anya granthothī jāṇavun.
have uttam tapadharma kahe chheḥ —
इहपरलोयसुहाणं णिरवेक्खो जो करेदि समभावो ।
विविहं कायकिलेसं तवधम्मो णिम्मलो तस्स ।।४००।।
इहपरलोकसुखानां निरपेक्षः यः करोति समभावः ।
विविधं कायक्लेशं तपोधर्मः निर्मलः तस्य ।।४००।।
arthaḥ — je muni ālok – paralokanā sukhanī apekṣhārahit tathā
sukh – duḥkh, shatru – mitra, tr̥uṇ – kañchan ane nindā – prasanshādimān rāg-dveṣh-
rahit samabhāvī thaī anek prakārano kāyaklesh kare chhe, te munine nirmal
arthāt uttam tapadharma hoy chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — chāritra arthe je udyam ane upayog kare tene tap
kahyun chhe. tyān te kāyaklesh sahit ja hoy chhe, tethī ātmāmān
vibhāvapariṇatinā sanskār thāy chhe tene maṭāḍavāno te udyam kare chhe.
potānā shuddhasvarūp upayogane chāritramān thambhāve chhe te ghaṇā jorathī thambhe
chhe; e jor karavun e ja tap chhe. te bāhya-abhyantar bhedathī bār
prakāranun kahyun chhe. tenun varṇan āgaḷ chūlikāmān karavāmān āvashe. e
pramāṇe uttam tapadharmanun varṇan karyun.
have uttam tyāgadharma kahe chheḥ —
जो चयदि मिट्ठभोज्जं उवयरणं रायदोससंजणयं ।
वसदिं ममत्तहेदुं चायगुणो सो हवे तस्स ।।४०१।।
