वज्जियसयलवियप्पो अप्पसरूवे मणं णिरुंधंतो ।
जं चिंतदि साणंदं तं धम्मं उत्तमं झाणं ।।४८२।।
वर्जितसकलविकल्पः आत्मस्वरूपे मनः निरुन्धन् ।
यत् चिन्तयति सानन्दं तत् धर्म्यं उत्तमं ध्यानम् ।।४८२।।
arthaḥ — je badhāy anya vikalpone chhoḍī, ātmasvarūpamān manane
rokī ānand sahit chintavan hoy te uttam dharmadhyān chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — samasta anya vikalparahit ātmasvarūpamān manane
sthir karavāthī je ānandarūp chintavan kahe chhe te uttam dharmadhyān chhe.
ahīn sanskr̥it ṭīkākāre anya granthānusār dharmadhyānanun visheṣh kathan karyun chhe;
tene saṅkṣhepamān lakhīe chhīeḥ —
dharmadhyānanā chār bhed kahyā chhe. āgnāvichay, apāyavichay,
vipākavichay, tathā sansthānavichay. tyān jīvādik chha dravya, pañchāstikāy,
sāt tattva ane nav padārthonān visheṣh svasvarūp – vishiṣhṭa gurunā
abhāvathī tathā potānī mandabuddhivash pramāṇ-nay nikṣhepathī sādhī shakāy
evun (svarūp) jāṇyun na jāy tyāre evun shraddhān kare ke ‘je
sarvagnavītarāgadeve kahyun chhe te māre pramāṇ chhe’ e pramāṇe āgnā mānī
te anusār padārthomān upayogane sthir kare te āgnāvichay-dharmadhyān1 chhe.
‘apāy’ nām nāshanun chhe. tyān jem karmono nāsh thāy tem
chintave, mithyātvabhāv e dharmamān vidhnanun kāraṇ chhe tenun chintavan rākhe
arthāt te potānāmān na thavā devānun ane parane maṭavānun chintavan rākhe
te apāyavichay chhe.
‘vipāk’ nām karmanā udayanun chhe. tyān jevo karmano uday thāy
tenā tevā svarūpanun chintavan kare te vipākavichay chhe.
