shrAvak, arjikAkA rUp hai.

bhAvArtha––‘darshan’ nAm kA mat prasiddha hai. yahAn jinadarshan men muni shrAvak aur
arjikAkA jaisA bAhya bheSh kahA so ‘darshan’ jAnanA aur isakI shraddhA so ‘antarang darshan’
jAnanA. ye honon hI gnAnamayI hain, yathArtha tattvArthakA jAnanerUp samyaktva jisamen pAyA jAtA hai,
isIliye phUlamen gandhakA aur dUdhamen ghRutakA dRuShTAnt yukta hai; isaprakAr darshanakA rUp kahA.
anyamatamen tathA kAladoSh se jinamatamen jainAbhAs bheShI anek prakAr anyathA kahate hain jo

pAs ho so deve aur jisake pAs na ho so kaise deve? is nyAy se artha, dharma, svargAdike
bhog aur mokSha sukh kA kAraN pravajyA arthAt dIkShA jisakA ho usako ‘dev’ jAnanA.. 24..

Age dharmAdi kA svarUp kahate hain, jinake jAnane se devAdi kA svarUp jAnA jAtA hai–

artha––jo dayA se vishuddha hai vah dharma hai, jo sarva parigrah se rahit hai vah pravajyA hai,
jisakA moh naShTa ho gayA hai vah dev hai––yah bhavya jIvon ke uday ko karane vAlA hai.

bhAvArtha––lok men yah prasiddha hai ki dharma, artha, kAm aur mokSha ye chAr puruSh ke
prayojan hain. unake liye puruSh kisI kI vandanA karatA hai, pUjA karatA hai aur nyAy yah hai
ki jisake pAs jo vastu ho vah dUsare ko deve, na ho to kahAn se lAve? isaliye yah chAr
puruShArtha jin dev ke pAye jAte hain.
