bhāvapāhuḍ][217 das prakārakā abrahma ye hai––––1 pahile to strīkā chintan honā, 2 pīchhe dekhane kī chintā honā, 3 pīchhe niḥ shvās ḍālanā, 4 pīchhe jvar honā, 5 pīchhe dāh honā, 6 pīchhe kām kī ruchi honā, 7 pīchhe mūrchhā honā, 8 pīchhe unmād honā, 9 pīchhe jīnekā sandeh honā, 10 pīke maraṇ honā, aise das prakārakā abrahma hai.

nav prakārakā brahmacharya isaprakār hai–––––nav kāraṇonse brahmacharya bigaṛatā hai, unake nām ye hain–––––1 strīko sevan karane kī abhilāṣhā, 2 strīke aṅgakā sparshan, 3 puṣhṭa rasakā sevan, 4 strīse sansakta vastu shayyā ādikakā sevan, 5 strīke mukh, netra ādikako dekhanā, 6 strīkā satkār–puraskār karanā, 7 pahile kiye hue strīsevanako yād karanā, 8 āgāmī strīsevanakī abhilāṣhā karanā, 9 manavāñchhit iṣhṭa viṣhayoṅkā sevan karanā aise nav prakār haĩn. inakā tyāg karanā so navabhedarūp brahmacharya hai athavā man–vachan–kāy, kr̥ut–kārit– anumodanāse brahmacharyakā pālan karanā aise bhī nav prakār haĩn. aise karanā so bhī bhāv shuddha honekā upāy hai.. 98..

āge kahate hai ki–––jo bhāvasahit muni hain so ārādhanāke chatuṣhkako pātā hai, bhāv binā vah sansār men bhramaṇ karatā haiḥ–––

bhāvasahido ya muṇiṇo pāvai ārāhaṇāch ukkan cha.
bhāv rahido ya muṇivar bhamai chiran dīhasansāre.. 99..
bhāvasahitashcha muninaḥ prāpnoti ārādhanāchatuṣhkan cha.
bhāvarahitashcha munivar! bhramati chiran dīrgha sansāre.. 99..
arthaḥ––he munivar! jo bhāv sahit hai so darshan – gnān –chāritra –tap aisī
ārādhanāke chatuṣhkako pātā hai, vah muniyommen pradhān hai aur jo bhāvarahit muni hai so bahut
kāl tak dīrghasansāramen bhramaṇ karatā hai.

bhāvārthaḥ–– nishchay samyaktvakā shuddha ātmākā anubhūtirūp shraddhān hai so bhāv hai, aise bhāvasahit ho usake chār ārādhanā hotī hai usakā phal arahanta siddha pad hai, aur aise bhāv se rahit ho usake ārādhanā nahīn hotī hai, usakā phal sansār kā bhramaṇ hai. aisā jānakar bhāv shuddha karanā yah upadesh hai.. 99.. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

pāvanti bhāvasavaṇā kallāṇ paramparāin sokkhāin.
dukkhāin davvasavaṇā ṇaratiriyakudev joṇīe.. 100..
pāpnuvanti bhāvashramaṇāḥ kalyāṇaparamparāḥ saukhyāni.
duḥkhāni dravyashramaṇāḥ naratiryakkudevayonau.. 100..

arthaḥ––jo bhāvashramaṇ hain, ve jinamen kalyāṇakī paramparā hai aise sukhoṅko pāte hain aur jo dravyashramaṇ hain ve tiryañch manuṣhya kudev yonimen duḥkhoṅko pāte haĩn. bhāvārthaḥ––bhāvamuni samyagdarshan sahit hain ve to solahakāraṇ bhāvanā bhākar garbha, janma, tap, gnān, nirvāṇ––––pañchakalyāṇak sahit tīrthaṅkar pad pākar mokṣha pāte hain aur jo samyagdarshan rahit dravyamuni hain ve tiryañch, manuṣhya, kudev yoni pāte haĩn. yah bhāvake visheṣh se phalakā visheṣh hai.. 100.. āge kahate hain ki ashuddha bhāvase ashuddha hī āhār kiyā, isaliye durgati hī pāīḥ––– ––

chhāyāladosadūsiyamasaṇan gasiun asuddha bhāveṇa.
patto si mahāvasaṇan tiriyagaīe aṇappavaso.. 101..
ṣhaṭchatvārinshadoṣhadūṣhitamashanan grasitan ashuddhabhāvena.
prāptaḥ asi mahāvyasanan tiryaggatau anātmavashaḥ.. 101..

arthaḥ––he mune! tune ashuddha bhāves chhiyālīs doṣhonse dūṣhit ashuddha ashan (āhār) grasyā (khāyā) is kāraṇ se tiryañchagati men parādhīn hokar mahān (baṛe) vyasan (kaṣhṭa) ko prāpta kiyā. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

re! bhāvamuni kalyāṇakonī shreṇiyut saukhyo lahe;
ne dravyamuni tiryañch–manuj–kudevamān duḥkho sahe. 100.

tiryañchagati madhye tun pāmyo duḥkh bahu paravashapaṇe. 101.

bhāvārthaḥ––muni chhiyālīs doṣharahit shuddha āhār karatā hai, battīs antarāy ṭālatā hai, chaudah maladoṣharahit karatā hai, so jo muni hokar sadoṣhāāhār kare to gnāt hotā hai ki isake bhāv bhī shuddha nahīn hai. usako upadesh hai ki–––he muni! tune doṣh–sahit ashuddha āhār kiyā, isaliye tiryañchagati men pahile bhramaṇ kiyā aur kaṣhṭa sahā, isaliye bhāv shuddha karake shuddha āhār kar jisase phir bhramaṇ na kare. chhiyālīs doṣhommen solah to udgam doṣh hain, ve āhārake banane ke hain, ye shrāvak āshrit haĩn. solah utpādan doṣh hain, ye munike āshrit haĩn. das doṣh eṣhaṇāke hain, ye āhārake āshrit hai. chār pramāṇādik haĩn. inake nām tathā svarūp ‘mūlāchār’, ‘āchārasār’ granthase jāniye.. 101..

āge phir kahate hainḥ–––––

sachchittabhattapāṇan giddhīn dappeṇa‘dhī pabhuttūṇa.
patto si tivvadukkhan aṇāikāleṇ tan chinta.. 102..
sachittabhaktapānan gr̥uddhyā darpeṇ adhīḥ prabhujya.
prāpto‘si tīvraduḥkhan anādikālen tvan chintaya.. 102..

arthaḥ––he jīv! tū durbuddhi (agnānī) hokar atichār sahit tathā atigarva (uddhatapane) se sachitta bhojan tathā pān, jīvasahit āhār – pānī lekar anādikāl se tīvra duḥkhako pāyā, usakā chintavan kar – vichār kara. bhāvārthaḥ––muniko upadesh karate hain ki–––anādikālase jab tak agnānī rahā jīvakā svarūp nahīn jānā, tab tak sachit (jīvasahit) āhār – pānī karate hue sansāramen tīvra narakādikake duḥkh ko pāyā. ab muni hokar bhāvashuddha karake sachitta āhār – pānī mat kare, nahīn to phir pūrvavat duḥkh bhogegā.. 102.. āge phir kahate hainḥ–––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

tun vichār re! –ten duḥkh tīvra lahyān anādi kāḷathī,

kandan mūlan bīvan pupphan pattādi kiñchi sachchittan.
asiūṇ māṇagavvan bhamio si aṇantasansāre.. 103..
kandan mūlan bījan puṣhpan patrādi kiñchit sachittam.
ashitvā mānagarve bhramitaḥ asi anant sansāre.. 103..
arthaḥ––kand – jamīkand ādik, bīj – chanā ādi annādik, mūl – adarak mūlī
gājar ādik, puṣhpa – phūl, patra nāgarabel ādik, inako ādi lekar jo bhī koī sachitta
vastu thī use mān
(garva) karake bhakṣhaṇ kī. usase he jīv! tūne anant–sansāramen bhramaṇ kiyā.

bhāvārthaḥ––kandamūlādik sachitta ananta jīvoṅkī kāyā hai tathā anya vanaspati bījādik
sachitta hain inako bhakṣhaṇ kiyā. pratham to mān karake ki–––ham tapasvī hain, hamāre gharabār nahīn
hai, vanake puṣhpa – phalādik khākar tapasyā karate hain,––aise mithyādr̥uṣhṭi tapasvī hokar mān
karake khāye tathā garva se uddhat hokar doṣh samajhā nahīn, svachchhand hokar sarvabhakṣhī huā. aise
in kandādikako khākar is jīvane sansār bhramaṇ kiyā. ab muni hokar inakā bhakṣhaṇ mat
kare, aisā upadesh hai. anyamatake tapasvī kandamūlādik phal – phūl khākar apaneko mahant
mānate hain, unakā niṣhedh hai..103..

āge vinay ādikā upadesh karate hain, pahile vinayakā varṇan haiḥ–––
viṇayan pañchapayāran pālahi maṇavayaṇakāyajoeṇa.
aviṇayaṇarā suvihiyan tatto muttin na pāvanti.. 104..
vinayaḥ pañchaprakāran pālay manovachanakāyayogena.
avinatanarāḥ suvihitān tato muktin na prāpnuvanti.. 104..

kāī kand–mūlo, patra–puṣhpo, bīj ādi sachittane

nar hoy je avinīt te pāme na suvihit muktine. 104.

arthaḥ––he mune! jis kāraṇase avinayī manuṣhya bhale prakār vihit jo mukti usako nahīn pāte hain arthāt abhyuday tīrthaṅkarādi sahit mukti nahīn pāte hain, isaliye ham upadesh karate hain ki––––hāth joṛanā, charaṇommen giranā, āne par uṭhanā, sāmane jānā aur anukūl vachan kahanā yah pān̐ch prakār kā vinay hai athavā gnān, darshan, chāritra, tap aur inake dhārak puruṣh inakā vinay karanā, aise pān̐ch prakārake vinayako tū man – vachan –kāy tīnon yogonse pālan kara. bhāvārthaḥ––vinay binā mukti nahīn hai, isaliye vinayakā upadesh hai. vinayamen baṛe guṇ hain, gnānakī prāpti hotī hai, mān kaṣhāyakā nāsh hotā hai, shiṣhṭāchārakā pālan hai aur kalahakā nivāraṇ hai, ityādi vinay ke guṇ jānane. isaliye jo samyagdarshan ādi men mahān hai unakā vinay karo yah upadesh hai aur jo vinay binā jinamārgase bhraṣhṭa bhaye, vastrādik sahit jo mokṣhamārga mānane lage unakā niṣhedh hai.. 104.. āge bhaktirūp vaiyāvr̥utyakā upadesh karate hainḥ––––

ṇiyasattīe mahājas bhattīrāeṇ ṇichchakālammi.
tan kuṇ jiṇ bhatti paran vijjāvachchan dasaviyappan.. 105..
nijashaktyā mahāyashaḥ! bhaktirāgeṇ nityakāle.
tvan kurū jin bhakti paran vaiyāvr̥utyan dashavikalpam.. 105..

arthaḥ––he mahāshay! he mune! jinabhakti men tatpar hokar, bhaktike rāgapūrvak us das bhedarūp vaiyāvr̥utyako sadākāl tu apanī shaktike anusār kara. ‘vaiyāvr̥utya’ ke dūsare duḥkh (kaṣhṭa) ānepar usakī sevā–chākarī karaneko kahate haĩn. isake das bhed hain––1 āchārya, 2 upādhyāy, 3 tapasvī, 4 shaikṣhya, 5 glān, 6 gaṇ, 7 kul, 8 saṅgh, 9 sādhu 10 manogna–––– ye das muni ke haĩn. inakā vaiyāvr̥utya karate hain isaliye das bhed kahe haĩn.. 105.. āge apane doṣhakā guruke pās kahanā, aisī garhākā upadesh karate hainḥ––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

tun he mahāyash! bhaktirāg vaḍe svashaktipramāṇamān
jinabhaktirat dashabhed vaiyāvr̥uttyane āchar sadā. 105.

jan kiñchin kayan dosan maṇavayakāehin asuhabhāveṇa.
tan garahi gurusayāse gārav māyan cha mottūṇa.. 106..
yaḥ kashchit kr̥utaḥ doṣhaḥ manovachaḥ kāyaiḥ ashubh bhāvena.
tan garhan gurusakāshe gāravan māyān cha muktvā.. 106..

arthaḥ
––he mune! jo kuchh man–vachan–kāyake ddhārā ashubh bhāvonse pratignā men lagā ho
usako guruke pās apanā gaurav
(mahantapanekā garva) chhoṛakar aur māyā (kapaṭ) chhoṛakar
man–vachan–kāyako saral karake garhā kar arthāt vachan ddhārā prākashit kara.

bhāvārthaḥ––apane koī doṣh lagā ho aur niṣhkapaṭ hokar guruko kahe to vah doṣh
nivr̥utta ho jāve. yadi āp shalyavān rahe to munipadamen vah baṛā doṣh hai, isaliye apanā doṣh
chhipānā nahīn, jaisā ho vaisā saralabuddhise guruon ke pās kahe tab doṣh miṭe yah upadesh hai.
kālake nimittase munipad se bhraṣhṭa bhaye, pīchhe guruoṅke pās prāyashchit nahīn liyā, tab viparīt
hokar alag sampradāy banā liye, aise viparyay huā.. 106..

āge kṣhamākā upadesh karate hainḥ––
dujjavayaṇachaḍakkan ṇiṭṭhurakaḍuyan sahanti sappurisā.
kammamalaṇāsaṇaṭṭhan bhāveṇ ya ṇimmamā savaṇā.. 107..
durjanavachanachapeṭān niṣhṭhurakaṭukan sahante satpuruṣhāḥ.
karmamalanāshanārthan bhāven cha nirmamāḥ shramaṇāḥ.. 107..

arthaḥ––satpuruṣh muni hain ve durjanake vachanarūp chapeṭ jo niṣhṭhur (kaṭhor) dayārahit aur
kaṭṭhak (sunate hī kānoṅko kaṛe shūl samān lage) aisī chapeṭ hain usako sahate haĩn. ve kisaliye

sahate hain? karmoṅkā nāsh hone ke liye sahate haĩn. pahale ashubh karma bān̐dhe the usake nimitta se durjanane kaṭuk vachan kahe, āpane sune, usako upasham ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

ten ashubh bhāve man–vach–tanathī rkyo kāī doṣh je,
kar garhaṇā gurunī samīpe garva–māyā chhoḍīne. 106.

durjan taṇī niṣhṭhur–kaṭuk vachanorūpī thappaḍ sahe
satpuruṣh nirmamabhāvayut–muni karmamaḷalayahetue. 107.

bhāvapāhuḍ][223 pariṇāmase āp sahe tab ashubhakarma uday hoy khir gaye. aise kaṭukavachan sahane se karmakā nāsh hotā hai. ve muni satapuruṣh kaise hain? apane bhāvase vachanādikase nirmamatva hain, vachanase tathā mānakaṣhāyase aur dehādikase mamatva nahīn hai. mamatva do to durvachan sahe na jāven, yah na jāne ki isane mujhe durvachan kahe, isaliye mamatvake abhāvase durvachan sahate haĩn. ataḥ muni hokar kisī par krodh nahīn karanā yah upadesh hai. laukik men bhī jo baṛe puruṣh hain ve durvachan sunakar krodh nahīn karate hain, tab muniko sahanā uchit hī hai. jo krodh karate hain ve kahaneke tapasvī hain, sachche tapasvī nahīn haĩn.. 107.. āge kṣhamākā phal kahate hainḥ–––––

pāvan khavai asesan khamāe paḍimaṇḍio cha muṇipavaro.
khevar amaraṇarāṇan pasansaṇīo dhuvan hoi.. 108..
pāpan kṣhipati asheṣhan kṣhamayā parimaṇḍit cha munipravaraḥ.
khecharāmaranarāṇān prashansanīyan dhruvan bhavati.. 108..

arthaḥ––jo munipravar (muniyommen shreṣhṭha, pradhān) krodhake abhāvarūp kṣhamāse maṇḍit hain vah muni samasta pāpoṅkā kṣhay karatā hai aur vidyādhar – dev – manuṣhyon dvārā prashansā karane yogya nishchay se hotā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––kṣhamā guṇ baṛā pradhān hai, isase sabake stuti karane yogya puruṣh hotā hai. jo muni hai unake uttam kṣhamā hotī hai, ve to sab manuṣhya – dev – vidyādharoṅke stuti yogya hote hī hain aur unake sab pāpoṅkā kṣhay hotā hī hai, isaliye kṣhamā karanā yogya hai–––aisā upadesh hai. krodhī sabake nindā karane yogya hotā hai, isaliye krodhakā chhoṛanā shreṣhṭha hai.. 108.. āge aise kṣhamāguṇako jānakar kṣhamā karanā aur krodh chhoṛanā aisā kahate haiḥ–––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

munipravar parimaṇḍit kṣhamāthī pāp niḥsheṣhe dahe,
nar–amar–vidyādhar taṇā stutipātra chhe nishchitapaṇe. 108.

iy ṇāūṇ khamāguṇ khamehi tiviheṇ sayal jīvāṇan.
chirasañchiyakohasihin varakhamasalileṇ siñcheha.. 109..
iti gnātvā kṣhamāguṇ! kṣhamasva trividhen sakalajīvān.
chirasañchit krodh shikhinan var kṣhamāsalilen siñcha.. 109..

arthaḥ––he kṣhamāguṇ mune! [jisake kṣhamāguṇ hai aise munikā sambodhan hai] iti arthāt pūrvotta prakār kṣhamāguṇ ko jān aur sab jīvon par man–vachan–kāy se kṣhamā kar tathā bahut kālase sañchit krodharūpīāgniko shamārūp jalase sīñch arthāt shaman kara. bhāvārthaḥ––krodharūpī agni puruṣh ke bhale guṇoṅko dagdha karane vālī hai aur parajīvoṅkā ghāt karane vālī hai, isaliye isako kṣhamārūp jalase bujhānā, anya prakār yah bujhatī nahīn hai aur kṣhamā guṇ sab guṇommen pradhān hai. isaliye yah upadesh hai ki krodh ko chhoṛakar kṣhamā grahaṇ karanā.. 109.. āge dīkṣhākālādikakī bhāvanā kā upadesh karate hainḥ–––

dikkhākālāīyan bhāvahi aviyāradansaṇavisuddho.
uttam bohiṇimittan asārasārāṇi muṇiūṇa.. 110..

dīkṣhākālādikan bhāvay avikāradarshanavishuddhaḥ. uttamabodhinimittan asārasārāṇi gnātvā.. 110..

arthaḥ––he mune! tū sansārako asār jānakar uttamabodhi arthāt samyagdarshan gnān chāritrakī prāptike nimitta avikār arthāt atichārarahit nirmal samyagdarshan sahit hokar dīkṣhākāl ādikakī bhāvanā kara. bhāvārthaḥ––dīkṣhā lete hain tab sansār, (sharīr) bhogako (visheṣhatayā) asār jānakar atyant vairāgya utpanna hotā hai, vaise hī usake ādi shabdase rogotpatti, maraṇākālādik jānanā. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

tethī kṣhamāguṇadhar! kṣhamā kar kvav saune traṇ vidhe;
uttam kṣhamā jaḷ sīñch tun chirakāḷanā krodhāgnine. 109.

suvishuddhadarshanadharapaṇe varabodhi kerā hetue
chintav tun dīkṣhākāḷ–ādik, jāṇī sār–asārane. 110.

[nirantar smaraṇamen rakhanāḥ––––kyā? samyagdarshan–gnān–chāritra kī vr̥uddhi hetu he muni! dīkṣhāke samayakī apūrva utsāhamay tīvra virakta dashāko, kisī rogotpattike samay ugra gnān– vairāgya sampattiko, kisī duḥkhake avasar par pragaṭ huī udāsīnatākī bhāvanāko, kisī upadesh tathā tattvavichārake dhanya avasar par jagī pavitra antaḥbhāvanāko smaraṇamen rakhanā, nirantar svasanmukhagnātāpan ko dhīraj artha smaraṇamen rakhanā, bhūlanā nahī̃n. (is gāthākā visheṣh bhāvārtha)]

āge bhāvaliṅg shuddha karake dravyaliṅg sevanakā upadesh karate hainḥ–––

sevahi chauvihaliṅgan abbhantaraliṅgasuddhimāvaṇṇo.
bāhiraliṅgamakajjan hoi phuḍan bhāvarahiyāṇan.. 111..
sevasya chaturvidhaliṅgan abhyantaraliṅgashuddhimāpannaḥ.
bāhyaliṅgamakāryan bhavati sphuṭan bhāvarahitānām.. 111..

arthaḥ
––he munivar! tū abhyantaraliṅgī shuddhi arthāt shuddhatāko prāpta hokar chār prakārake
bāhyaliṅgakā sevan kar, kyoṅki jo bhāvarahit hote hain unake pragaṭapane bāhyaliṅg akārya hai
arthāt kāryakārī nahīn hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––jo bhāvakī shuddhatāse rahit hain, jinake apanī ātmākā yathārtha shraddhān, gnān, ācharaṇ nahīn hai, unake bāhyaliṅg kuchh kāryakārī nahīn hai, kāraṇ pākar tatkāl bigaṛ jāte hain, isaliye yah upadesh hai–––pahile bhāvakī shuddhatā karake dravyaliṅg dhāraṇ karo. yah dravyaliṅg chār prakārakā kahā hai, usakī sūchanā isaprakār hai–––1 mastakake, 2 dārḥīke aur 3 mūchhoṅke keshoṅkā loch karanā, tīn chinha to ye aur chauthā nīche ke kesh rakhanā; athavā 1 vastra kā tyāg, 2 keshoṅkā loch karanā, 3 sharīrakā snānādise sanskār na karanā, 4 pratilekhan mayūrapichchhikā rakhanā, aise bhī chār prakārakā bāhyaliṅg kahā hai. aise sab bāhya vastrādikase rahit nagna rahanā, aisā nagnarūp bhāvavishuddhi binā han̐sī kā sthān hai aur kuchh uttam phal bhī nahīn hai.. 111.. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

arthaḥ
––he mune! tūne āhār, bhay, maithun, parigrah, in chār sañgnāonse mohit hokar
anādikālase parādhīn hokar sansārarūp vanamen bhramaṇ kiyā.

bhāvārthaḥ–– ‘sañgnā’ nām vāñchhāke jāgate rahane (arthāt bane rahane) kā hai, so āhārakī
vāñchhā honā, bhay honā, maithunakī vāñchhā honā aur parigrah kī vāñchhā prāṇī ke nirantar banī
rahatī hai, yah janmāntar se chalī jātī hai, janma lete hī tatkāl pragaṭ hotī hai. isī ke
nimitta se karmoṅkā bandh kar sansāravan men bhramaṇ karatā hai, isaliye muniyoṅko yah upadesh hai ki
ab in sañgnāoṅkā abhāv karo.. 112..

āge kahate hain ki bāhya uttaraguṇ kī pravr̥utti bhī bhāv shuddha karake karanāḥ–––

bāhirasayaṇattāvaṇatarumūlāīṇi uttaraguṇāṇi.
pālahi bhāvavishuddho pūyālāhan ṇa īhanto.. 113..
bahiḥ shayanātāpanatarumūlādīn uttaraguṇān.
pālay bhāvavishuddhaḥ pūjā lābhan na īhamānaḥ.. 113..

arthaḥ––he munivar! tū bhāvase vishuddha hokar pūjā–lābhādikako nahīn chāhate hue, bāhyashayan, ātāpan, vr̥ukṣhamūlayog dhāraṇ karanā, ityādi uttaraguṇoṅkā pālan kara. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

bhāvārthaḥ––shītakāl men bāhar khule maidānamen sonā – baiṭhanā, grīṣhmakāl men parvat ke shikhar par sūryasanmukh ātāpanayog dhāranā, varṣhā kālamen vr̥ukṣhake nīche yog dharanā, jahān̐ būn̐den vr̥ukṣha par girane ke bād ekatra hokar sharīr par girẽn. isamen kuchh prāsuk kā bhī saṅkalpa hai aur bādhā bahut hai, inako ādi lekar yah uttar guṇ hai, inakā pālan bhī bhāvashuddhi karake karanā. bhāvashuddhi binā kare to tatkāl bigaṛe aur phal kuchh nahīn hai, isaliye bhāv shuddha karake karane kā upadesh hai. aisā na jānanā ki inako bāhyamen karane kā niṣhedh karate haĩn. inako bhī karanā aur bhāv bhī shuddha karanā yah āshay hai. keval pūjā – lābhādi ke liye, apanā baṛappan dikhāne ke liye kare to kuchh phal (lābh) kī prāpti nahīn hai.. 113.. āge tattvakī bhāvanā karane kā upadesh karate hainḥ––––

bhāvahi paḍhaman tachchan badiyan tadiyan chautthan pañchamayan.
tiyaraṇasuddho appan aṇāiṇihaṇan tivaggaharan.. 114..
bhāvay prathaman tattvan dvitīyan tr̥utīyan chaturthan pañchamakam.
trikaraṇashuddhaḥ ātmānan anādinidhanan trivargaharam.. 114..

arthaḥ––he mune! tū pratham jo jīvatattva usakā chintan kar, dvitīy ajīvatattvakā chintan kar, tr̥utīy āsravatattva kā chintan kar, chaturtha bandhatattvakā chintan kar, pan̐cham samvaratattvakā chintan kar aur trikaraṇ arthāt man–vachan–kāy, kr̥ut–kārit–anumodanā se shuddha hokar ātmasvarūpakā chintan kar; jo ātmā anādinidhan hai aur trivarga arthāt dharma, artha tathā kām inako haranevālā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––pratham ‘jīvatattva’ kī bhāvanā to, ‘sāmānya jīv’ darshan–gnānamayī chetanā– svarūp hai, usakī bhāvanā karanā. pīchhe aisā main hūn̐ isaprakār ātmatattvakī bhāvanā karanā. dūsarā ajīvatattva’ hai so sāmānya achetan jaṛ hai, yah pān̐ch bhedarūp pudgal, dharma, adharma, ākāsh, kāl hain inakā vichār karanā. pīchhe bhāvanā karanā ki ye hain vah main nahīn hū̃n. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

tīsarā āsravatattva’ hai vah jīv–pudgal ke sanyogajanit bhāv hain, inamen anādi karma sambandha se jīvake bhāv (bhāv–āsrav) to rāg–dveṣh–moh hain aur ajīv pudgalake bhāvakarma ke udayarūp mithyātva, avirat, kaṣhāy aur yog dravyāsrav haĩn. inakī bhāvanā karanā ki ye (asadbhūt vyavahāranay apekṣhā) mujhe hote hain, [ashuddha nishchayanayase] rāgadveṣhamoh bhāv mere hain, inase karmoṅkā bandha hotā hai, usase sansār hotā hai isaliye inakā karttā na honā–––[svamen apane gnātā rahanā]. chauthā bandhatattva’ hai vah main rāgamohadveṣharūp pariṇaman karatā hūn̐ vah to merī chetanākā vibhāv hai, isase jo ban̐dhate hain ve pudgal hain, karma pudgal hain, karma pudgal gnānāvaraṇ ādi āṭh prakār hokar ban̐dhatā hai, ve svabhāv–prakr̥iti, sthiti, anubhāg aur pradesharūp chāraprakār hokar ban̐dhate hain, ve mere vibhāv tathā pudgal karma sab hey hain, sansār ke kāraṇ hain, mujhe rāgadveṣh moharūp nahīn honā hai, isaprakār bhāvanā karanā. pān̐chavān̐ samvaratattva’ hai vah rāg–dveṣh–moharūp jīvake vibhāv hain, unakā na honā aur darshan–gnānarūp chetanābhāv sthir honā yah ‘samvar’ hai, vah apanā bhāv hai aur isī se pudgal karmajanit bhramaṇ miṭatā hai. isaprakār in pān̐ch tattvoṅkī bhāvanā karane men ātmatattvakī bhāvanā pradhān hai, usase karmakī nirjarā hokar mokṣha hotā hai. ātmākā bhāv anukram se shuddha honā yah to ‘nirjarātattva’ huā aur sab karmoṅkā abhāv honā yah ‘mokṣhatattva’ huā.

isaprakār sāt tattvoṅkī bhāvanā karanā. isīliye ātmatattvakā vishleṣhaṇ kiyā ki ātmatattva kaisā hai–––dharma, artha, kām is trivargakā abhāv karatā hai. isakī bhāvanā se trivarga se bhinna chauthā puruṣhārtha ‘mokṣha’ hai vah hotā hai. yah ātmā gnān–darshanamayī chetanāsvarūp anādinidhan hai, isakā ādi bhī nahīn aur nidhan (nāsh) bhī nahīn hai. ‘bhāvanā’ nām bārabār abhyās karane, chintan karane kā hai vah man–vachan–kāyase āp karanā tathā dūsare ko karānā aur karane vāle ko bhalā jānanā–––aise trikaraṇ shuddha karake bhāvanā karanā. māyā–nidān shalya nahīn rakhanā, khyāti, lābh, pūjākā āshay na rakhanā. isaprakār se tattva kī bhāvanā karane se bhāv shuddha hote haĩn.

strī ādi padārthon parase bhedagnānī kā vichāra.

isaprakār udāharaṇ isaprakār hai ki–––jab strī ādi indriyagochar hon (dikhāī den) tab unake viṣhayamen tattvavichār karanā ki yah strī hai vah kyā hai? jīvanāmak tattvakī payārya hai, isakā sharīr hai vah to pudgal tattvakī paryāy hai, yah hāvabhāv cheṣhṭā karatī hai, vah is jīv ke vikār huā hai yah āsravatattva hai aur bāhya cheṣhṭā pudgal kī hai, is vikār se is strī kī ātmā ke karma kā bandha hotā hai. yah vikār isake na ho to ‘āsrav’ ‘bandha’ na hõn. kadāchit main bhī isako dekhakar vikārarūp pariṇaman karūn̐ to mere bhī ‘āsrav’ ‘bandha’ hõn. isaliye mujhe vikārarūp na honā yah ‘samvar’ tattva hai. ban sake to kuchh upadesh dekar isakā vikār dūr karūn̐ [aisā vikalpa rāg hai] vah rāg bhī karane yogya nahīn hai––––svasanmukh gnātāpane men dhairya rakhanā yogya hai. isaprakār tattvakī bhāvanā se apanā bhāv ashuddha nahīn hotā hai, isaliye jo dr̥uṣhṭigochar padārtha hon unamen isaprakār tattvakī bhāvanā rakhanā, yah tattva kī bhāvanā kā upadesh hai..114.. āge kahate hain ki aise tattvakī bhāvanā jab tak nahīn hai tab tak mokṣha nahīn haiḥ–––

jāv ṇa bhāvai tachchan jāv ṇa chintei chintaṇīthāin.
tāv ṇa pāvai jīvo shraramaraṇavivajjiyan ṭhāṇan.. 115..
yāvanna bhāvayati tattvan yāvanna chintayati chintanīyāni.
tāvanna prāpnoti jīvaḥ jarāmaraṇavivarjitan sthānam.. 115..

arthaḥ––he mune! jabatak vah jīvādi tattvoṅko nahīn bhātā hai aur chintan karane yogya kā chintan nahīn karatā hai tab tak jarā aur maraṇase rahit mokṣhasthānako nahīn pātā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––tattvakī bhāvanā to pahile kahī vah chintan karane yogya dharmashukla– dhyānakā viṣhayabhūt jo dhyey vastu apanā shuddha darshanagnānamayī chetanābhāv aur aisī hī arahant–siddha parameṣhṭhī kā svarūp, usakā chintan jab tak is ātmāke na ho tab tak sansār se nivr̥utta honā nahīn hai, isaliye tattvakī bhāvanā aur shuddhasvarūpake dhyānakā upāy nirantar rakhanā yah upadesh hai.. 115.. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

bhāve na jyān lagī tattva, jyān lagī chintanīy na chintave,
jīv tyān lagī pāme nahīn jar–maraṇavarjit sthānane. 115.

pāvan havai asesan puṇṇamasesan cha havai pariṇāmā.
pariṇāmādo bandho mukkho jiṇasāsaṇe diṭṭho.. 116..
pāpan bhavati asheṣhan puṇyamasheṣhan cha bhavati pariṇāmāt.
pariṇāmādbandhaḥ mokṣhaḥ jinashāsane draṣhṭaḥ.. 116..

arthaḥ––pāp–puṇya, bandh–mokṣha kā kāraṇ pariṇām hī ko kahā hai. jīvake mithyātva, viṣhay–kaṣhāy, ashubhaleshyārūp tīvra pariṇām hote hain, unase to pāpāsravakā bandh hotā hai. parameṣhṭhī kī bhakti, jīvon par dayā ityādik mandakaṣhāy shubhaleshyārūp pariṇām hote hain, isase puṇyāsravakā bandh hotā hai. shuddhapariṇāmarahit vibhāvarūp pariṇām se bandh hotā hai. shuddhabhāvake sanmukh rahanā, usake anukūl shubh pariṇām rakhanā, ashubh pariṇām sarvathā dūr karanā, yah upadesh hai.. 116.. āge puṇya–pāpakā bandh jaise bhāvonse hotā hai unako kahate haĩn. pahile pāp–bandhake pariṇām kahate hainḥ––

michchhatta tah kasāyāsañjamajogehin asuhalesehĩn.
bandhai asuhan kamman jiṇavayaṇaparammuho jīvo.. 117..
mithyātvan tathā kaṣhāyāsanyamayogaiḥ ashubhaleshyaiḥ.
badhnati ashubhan karman jinavachanaparāṅmukhaḥ jīvaḥ.. 117..

arthaḥ––mithyātva, kaṣhāy, asanyam aur yog jinamen ashubhaleshyā pāī jātī hai isaprakārake bhāvonse yah jīv jinavachanase parāṅamukh hotā hai––––ashubhakarmako bān̐dhatā hai vah pāp hī bān̐dhatā hai. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

re! pāp saghaḷun, puṇya saghaḷun, thāy chhe pariṇāmathī;
pariṇāmathī chhe bandh tem ja mokṣha jinashāsanamahī̃n. 116.
mithyā–kaṣhāy–avirati–yog ashubhaleshyānvit vaḍe,
jinavachaparāṅmukh ātamā bāndhe ashubharūp karmane. 117.

bhāvārthaḥ––‘mithyātvabhāv’ tattvārtha kā shraddhān rahit pariṇām hai. ‘kaṣhāy’ krodhādik haĩn. ‘asanyam’ paradravyake grahaṇarūp hai tyāgarūp bhāv nahīn, isaprakār indriyoṅke viṣhayonse prīti or jīvoṅkī virādhanā sahit bhāv hai. ‘yog’ man–vachan–kāyake nimitta se ātmapradeshon kā chalanā hai. ye bhāv jab tīvra kaṣhāy sahit kr̥iṣhṇa, nīl, kapot ashubh leshyārūp hon tab is jīv ke pāpakarma kā bandh hotā hai. pāpabandh karanevālā jīv kaisā hai? usake jinavachan kī shraddhā nahīn hai. is visheṣhaṇ kā āshay yah hai ki anyamat ke shraddhānī ke jo kadāchit shubhaleshyā ke nimitta se puṇyakā bhī bandh ho to usako pāp hī men ginate haĩn. jo jinaāgnā men pravartatā hai usake kadāchit pāp bhī bandhe to vah puṇya jīvon kī hī paṅkti men ginā jātā hai, mithyādr̥uṣhṭiko pāpī jīvon men mānā hai aur samyagdr̥uṣhṭiko puṇyavān jīvommen mānā jātā hai. isaprakār pāpabandhake kāraṇ kahe.. 117..

āge isase ulaṭā jīv hai vah puṇya bān̐dhatā hai, aisā kahate hainḥ–––

tavvivarīo bandhai suhakamman bhāvasuddhibhāvaṇṇo.
duvihapayāran bandhai saṅkhepeṇev vajjariyan.. 118..
tadviparītaḥ badhnāti shubhakarma bhāvashuddhimāpannaḥ.
dvividhaprakāran badhnāti saṅkṣhepeṇaiv kathitam.. 118..

arthaḥ–– us pūrvokta jinavachanakā shraddhānī mithyātva rahit samyagdr̥uṣhṭi jīv shubhakarmako bān̐dhatā hai jisane ki––––bhāvon men vishuddhi prāpta hai. aise donon prakār ke jīv shubhāshubh karma ko bān̐dhate hain, yah saṅkṣhep se jinabhagavān ne kahā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––pahile kahā thā ki jinavachanase parāṅamukh mithyātva sahit jīv hai, usase viparīt jinaāgnākā shraddhānī samyagdr̥uṣhṭi jīv vishuddhabhāv ko prāpta hokar shubh karmako bān̐dhatā hai, kyoṅki isake samyaktvake mahātmyase aise ujjval bhāv hain jinase mithyātvake sāth ban̐dhane vālī pāpaprakr̥itiyoṅkā abhāv hai. kadāchit kiñchit koī pāpaprakr̥iti ban̐dhatī hai to usakā anubhāg mand hotā hai, ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

viparīt tethī bhāvashuddhiprāpta bāndhe shubhane;

kuchh tīvra pāpaphal kā dātā nahīn hotā. isaliye samyagdr̥uṣhṭi shubhakarma hī ke bān̐dhane vālā hai–– –isaprakār shubh–ashubh karma ke bandhakā saṅkṣhep se vidhān sarvagnadevane kahā hai, vah jānanā chāhiye.. 118..

āge kahate hain ki he mune! tū aisī bhāvanā karaḥ––––

ṇāṇāvaraṇādīhin ya aṭṭhahin kammehin beḍhio ya ahan.
ḍahiūṇ iṇhin payaḍami aṇantaṇāṇāiguṇachittā̃n.. 119..
gnānāvaraṇādibhiḥ cha aṣhṭabhiḥ karmabhiḥ veṣhṭitashcha ahan.
dagdhvā idānīn prakaṭayāmi anantagnānādiguṇ chetanā̃n.. 119..

arthaḥ
––he munivar! tū aisī bhāvanā kar ki main gnānāvaraṇādi āṭh karmon se veṣhṭhit hūn̐,
isaliye inako bhasma karake anantagnānādi guṇ jinasvarūp chetanāko pragaṭ karū̃n.

bhāvārthaḥ––apane ko karmon se veṣhṭhit māne aur unase anantagnānadi guṇ āchchhādit māne
tab un karmoṅke nāsh karanekā vichār kar, isaliye karmon ke bandhakī aur unake abhāvakī
bhāvanā karane kā upadesh hai. karmon kā abhāv shuddhasvarūp ke dhyān se hotā hai, usī ke karane
kā upadesh hai.

karma āṭh hain––––1 gnānāvaraṇ, 2 darshanāvaraṇ, 3 mohanīy, 4 antarāy ye chār ghātiyā karma hain, inakī prakr̥iti saintālīs hain, kevalagnānāvaraṇ se anantagnān āchchhādit hai, kevaladarshanāvaraṇ se anantadarshan āchchhādit hai, mohanīy se anantasukh pragaṭ nahīn hotā hai aur antarāy se anantavīrya pragaṭ nahīn hotā hai, isaliye inakā nāsh karo. chār aghāti karma hain inase avyābādh, agurulaghu, sūkṣhmatā aur avagāhanā ye guṇ (–––kī nirmal payārya) pragaṭ nahīn hote hain, in aghāti karmon kī prakr̥iti ekasau ek haĩn. ghātikarmon kā nāsh hone par aghātikarmon kā svayamev abhāv ho jātā hai, isaprakār jānanā chāhiye.. 116.. āge in karmon kā nāsh hone ke liye anek prakār kā upadesh hai, usako saṅkṣhep se kahate hainḥ–––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

veṣhṭit chhun hun gnānāvaraṇakarmādi karmāṣhṭak vaḍe;

arthaḥ––shīl aṭhārah hajār bhedarūp hai aur uttaraguṇ chaurāsī lākh haĩn. āchārya kahate hain ki he mune! bahut jhūṭhe pralāparūp nirarthak vachanonse kyā? in shīloṅko aur uttaraguṇon ko sabako tū nirantar bhā, inakī bhāvanā – chintan – abhyās nirantar rakh, jaise inakī prāpti ho vaise hī kara. bhāvārthaḥ––‘ātmā– jīv’ nāmak vastu anantadharma svarūp hai. saṅkṣhep se isakī do pariṇati hain, ek svābhāvik ek vibhāv rūpa. inamen svābhāvik to shuddhadarshanagnānamayī chetanāpariṇām hai aur vibhāvapariṇām karma ke nimitta se haĩn. ye pradhānarūp se to mohakarma ke nimitta se hue haĩn. saṅkṣhep se mithyātva rāgadveṣh hain, inake vistār se anek bhed haĩn. anya karmon ke uday se vibhāv hote hain unamen pauruṣh pradhān nahīn hain, isaliye upadesh–apekṣhā ve gauṇ hain; isaprakār ye shīl aur uttaraguṇ svabhāv–vibhāv pariṇati ke bhed se bhedarūp karake kahe haĩn. shīl kī prarūpaṇā do prakār kī hai––––ek svadravya–paradravya ke vibhāgakī apekṣhā hai aur dūsare strī ke sansarga kī apekṣhā hai. paradravya kā sansarga man, vachan, kāy se aur kr̥ut, kārit, anumodanā se na karanā. inako āpasamen guṇā karane se nau bheed hote haĩn. āhār, bhay, maithun aur parigrah ye chār sañgnā hain, inase paradravya kā sansarga hotā hai usakā na honā, aise nau bhedoṅkā chār sañgnāon se guṇā karane par chhattīs hote haĩn. pān̐ch indriyoṅke nimitta se viṣhayon kā sansarga hotā hai, unakī pravr̥utti ke abhāv rūp pān̐ch indriyon se chhattīs ko guṇā karane par ekasau assī hote haĩn. pr̥ithvī, ap, tej, vāyu, pratyek, sādhāraṇ ye to ekendriy aur do indriy, tīn indriy, chau indriy, pañchendriy aise dash bhedarūp jīvoṅkā sansarga, inakī hinsārūp pravartan se pariṇām vibhāvarūp hote hain so na karanā, aise ekasau assī bhedoṅko das se guṇā karane par aṭhārahasau hote haĩn. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

chaurāsī lākh uttaraguṇ aise hain jo ātmāke vibhāvapariṇāmoṅke bāhyakāraṇoṅkī apekṣhā bhed hote haĩn. unake abhāvarūp ye guṇoṅke bhed haĩn. un vibhāvoṅke bhedoṅkī gaṇanā saṅkṣhep se aise hai––1 hinsā, 2 anr̥ut, 3 stey, 4 maithun, 5 parigrah, 6 krodh, 7 mān, 8 māyā, 9 lobh, 10 bhay, 11 jugupsā, 12 arati, 13 shok, 14 manoduṣhṭatva, 15 vachanaduṣhṭatva, 16 kāyaduṣhṭatva, 17 mithyātva, 18 pramād, 19 paishūnya, 20 agnān, 21 indriyakā anugrah aise ikkīs doṣh haĩn. inako atikram, vyatikram, atichār, anāchār in chāron se guṇā karane par chaurāsī hote haĩn. pr̥ithvī – ap – tej – vāyu pratyek sādhāraṇ ye sthāvar aikendriy jīv chhah aur vikal tīn, pañchendriy ek aise jīvoṅke das bhed, inakā paraspar ārambha se ghāt hotā hai inako paraspar guṇā karane par sau (100) hote haĩn. inase chaurāsī ko guṇā karane par chaurāsī sau hote hai, inako das ‘shīl–virādhane’ se guṇā karane par chaurāsī hajār hote haĩn. in dasake nām ye hain 1 strīsansarga, 2 puṣhṭarasabhojan, 3 gandhamālayakā grahaṇ, 4 sundar shayanāsanakā grahaṇ, 5 bhūṣhaṇakā maṇḍan, gītavāditrakā prasaṅg, 7 dhanakā samprayojan, 8 kushīlakā sansarga, 9 rājasevā, 10 rātrisañcharaṇ ye ‘shīl – virādhanā’ hai. inake ālochanā ke das doṣh hain–– guruon ke pās lage hue doṣhoṅkī ālochanā kare so saral hokar na kare kuchh shalya rakhen, usake das bhed kiye hain, inake guṇā karane par āṭh lākh chālīs hajār hote haĩn. ālochanā ko ādi dekar prāyashchittake das bhed hain inase guṇā karane par chaurāsī lākh hote haĩn. so sab doṣhoṅke bhed hain, inake abhāv se guṇ hote haĩn. inakī bhāvanā rakhen, chintan aur abhyās rakhen, inakī sampūrṇa prāpti hone kā upāy rakhen; isaprakār isakī bhāvanā kā upadesh hai.

āchārya kahate hain ki bārabār bahut vachanake pralāpase to kuchh sādhya nahīn hai, jo kuchh ātmāke bhāvakī pravr̥uttike vyavahārake bhed hain unakī ‘guṇ’ sañgnā hai, unakī bhāvanā rakhanā. yahān̐ itanā aur jānanā ki guṇasthān chaudah kahen hain, us paripāṭīse guṇ doṣhon kā vichār hai. mithyātva sāsādan mishra in tīnommen se to vibhāv pariṇati hī hai, inamen to guṇ kā vichār hī nahīn hai. avirat, deshavirat ādimen shīlaguṇakā aikadesh ātā hai. aviratamen mithyātva anantānubandhī kaṣhāy ke abhāvarūp guṇakā ekadesh samyaktva aur tīvra rāgadveṣhakā abhāvarūp guṇ ātā hai aur deshavirat men kuchh vratakā ekadesh ātā hai. pramattamen mahāvrat sāmāyik chāritra kā ekadesh ātā hai kyoṅki pāpasambandhī rāgadveṣh to vahān̐ nahīn hai, parantu dharmasambandhī rāg hai aur ‘sāmāyik’ rāgadveṣh ke abhāv kā nām hai, isaliye sāmāyik kā ekadesh hī kahā hai. yahān̐ svarūpake sammukh honemen kriyākāṇḍake sambandha se pramād hai, isaliye ‘pramatta’ nām diyā hai.

apramatta men svarūp sādhan men to pramād nahīn hai, parantu kuchh svarūpake sādhane kā rāg vyakta hai, isaliye yahān̐ bhī sāmāyik kā ekadesh hī kahā hai. apūrvakaraṇ–anivr̥uttikaraṇ men rāg vyakta nahīn hai, avyaktakaṣhāyakā sadbhāv hai, isaliye sāmāyik chāritra kī pūrṇatā kahī. sūkṣhmasāmparāyamen avyakta kaṣhāy bhī sūkṣhma rah gaī, isaliye isakā nām ‘sūkṣhmasāmparāy’ rakhā. upashāntamoh kṣhīṇamohamen kaṣhāyakā abhāv hī hai, isaliye jaisā ātmākā moh vikārarahit shuddhi svarūp thā usakā anubhav huā, isaliye ‘yathākhyātacharitra’ nām rakhā. aise mohakarmake abhāvakī apekṣhā to yahān̐ hī uttar guṇoṅkī pūrṇatā kahī jātī hai, parantu ātmākā svarūp anantagnānādi svarūp hai so ghātikarmake nāsh hone par ānantagnānādi pragaṭ hote hain tab ‘sayogakevalī’ kahate haĩn. isamen bhī kuchh yogoṅkī pravr̥utti hai, isaliye ‘ayogakevalī’ chaudahavān̐ guṇasthān hai. isamen yogon kī pravr̥utti miṭ kar ātmā avasthit ho jātī hai tab chaurāsī lākh uttaraguṇoṅkī pūrṇatā kahī jātī hai. aise guṇasthānoṅkī apekṣhā uttaraguṇoṅkī pravr̥utti vichārane yogya hai. ye bāhya apekṣhā bhed hain, antaraṅg apekṣhā vichār karen to saṅkhyāt, asaṅkhyāt, anantabhed hote hain, isaprakār jānanā chāhiye.. 120.. āge bhedoṅke vikalpase rahit hokar dhyān karanekā upadesh karate hainḥ–––

jhāyahi dhamman sukkan aṭṭa rauddan cha jhāṇ muttūṇa.
ruddaṭṭa jhāiyāin imeṇ jīveṇ chirakālan.. 121..
dhyāy dharmyan shuklan ārttan raudran cha dhyānan muktvā.
raudrārtte dhyāte anen jīven chirakālam.. 121..

arthaḥ–– he muni! tū ārtta – raudra dhyānako chhoṛ aur dharma – shukladhyān hai unhen hī kar, kyoṅki raudra aur ārttadhyān to is jīvane anādikālase bahut samay tak kiye haĩn. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

dhyā dharmya temaj shuklane, takva ārta tem ja raudrane;
chirakāḷ dhyāyān ārta tem ja raudra dhyāno ā jīve. 121.
