bhāvārthaḥ––bahirātmā mithyādr̥uṣhṭi ke mithyātvakarma ke uday se (–udayake vash hone se) mithyābhāv hai isaliye vah apanī deh ko ātmā jānatā hai, vaise hī parakī deh achetan hai to bhī usako parakī ātmā mānatā hai (arthāt par ko bhī dehātmabuddhi se mān rahā hai aur aise mithyābhāv sahit dhyān karatā hai) aur usamen baṛā yatna karatā hai, isaliye aise bhāvako chhoṛanā yah tātparya hai.. 9..
āge kahate hain ki aisī hī mānyatāse par manuṣhyādimen mohakī pravr̥utti hotī haiḥ–––
suyadārāīvisae maṇuyāṇan vaiḍhaṇ moho.. 10..
sutadārādiviṣhaye manujānān varddhante mohaḥ.. 10..
arthaḥ––isaprakār dehamen sva–parake adhyavasāy (nishchay) ke dvārā manuṣhyon ke sut, dārādik jīvommen moh pravartatā hai kaise hain manuṣhya – jinane padārtha kā svarūp (arthāt ātmā) nahīn jānā hai aise haĩn.
dūsarā arthaḥ––[ arthaḥ–––isaprakār deh men sva–par ke adhyavasāy (nishchay) ke dvārā jin manuṣhyonne padārtha ke svarūpako nahīn jānā hai unake sut, dārādik jīvommen moh kī pravr̥utti hotī hai.] (bhāṣhā parivartanakār ne yah artha likhā hai) bhāvārthaḥ––jin manuṣhyonne jīv–ajīv padārtha kā svarūp yathārtha nahīn jānā unake dehamen svaparādhyavasāy hai. apanī dehako apanī ātmā jānate hain aur par kī dehako parakī ātmā jānate hain, unake putra strī ādi kuṭumbiyommen moh (mamatva) hotā hai. jab ve jīv–ajīv ke svarūp ko jāne tab deh ko ajīv mānen, ātmāko amūrtik chaitanya jānen, tab par men mamatva nahīn hotā hai. isaliye jīvādik padārthon kā svarūp achchhī tarah jānakar moh nahīn karanā yah batalāyā hai.. 10..

arthaḥ––yah manuṣhya mohakarma ke udayase (uday ke vash hokar) mithyāgnānake dvārā mithyābhāv se bhāyā huā phir āgāmī janmamen is aṅg (deh) ko achchhā samajhakar chāhatā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––mohakarmakī prakr̥iti mithyātva ke uday se (uday ke vash honese) gnān bhī mithyā hotā hai; paradravya ko apanā jānatā hai aur us mithyātva hī ke dvārā mithyā shraddhān hotā hai, usase nirantar paradravya men yah bhāvanā rahatī hai ki yah mujhe sadā prāpta hove, isase yah prāṇī āgāmī dehako bhalā jānakar chāhatā hai.. 11.. āge kahate hain ki jo muni deh men nirapekṣha hain, deh ko nahīn chāhatā hai, usamen mamatva nahīn karatā hai vah nirvāṇ ko pātā haiḥ–––

arthaḥ––jo yogī dhyānī muni deh meh nirapekṣha hai arthāt dehako nahīn chāhatā hai, udāsīn hai, nirdvandva hai––rāgadveṣharūp iṣhṭa–aniṣhṭa mānyatā se rahit hai, nirmamatva hai––dehādik men ‘yah merā’ aisī buddhi se rahit hai, nirārambh hai––is sharīr ke liye tathā ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

eso jiṇauvadeso samāsado1 bandhamukkhassa.. 13..
eṣhaḥ jinopadeshaḥ samāsataḥ bandhamokṣhasya.. 13..
arthaḥ––jo jīv paradravyamen rat hai, rāgī hai vah to anek prakārake karmon se bān̐dhatā hai,
karmoṅkā bandh karatā hai aur jo paradravyase virat hai–––rāgī nahīn hai vah anek prakārake karmon
se chhūṭatā hai, tah bandhakā aur mokṣhakā saṅkṣhepamen jinadev kā upadesh hai.
bhāvārthaḥ–– bandh–mokṣhake kāraṇakī kathanī anek prakār se hai usakā yah saṅkṣhep haiḥ–– jo paradravya se rāgabhāv to bandhakā kāraṇ aur virāgabhāv mokṣhakā kāraṇ hai, isaprakār saṅkṣhep se jinendrakā upadesh hai.. 13..
āge kahate hain ki jo svadravya men rat hai vah samyagdr̥uṣhṭi hotā hai aur karmoṅkā nāsh karatā haiḥ–––

arthaḥ––jo muni svadravya arthāt apanī ātmāmen rat hai, ruchi sahit he vah niyam se
samyagdr̥uṣhṭi hai aur vah hī samyaktvasvabhāvarūp pariṇaman karatā huā duṣhṭa āṭh karmon kā kṣhay –
nāsh karatā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ–– yah bhī karmake nāsh karane ke kāraṇakā saṅkṣhep kathan hai. jo apane svarūp kī shraddhā, ruchi, pratīti, ācharaṇase yukta hai vah niyam se samyagdr̥uṣhṭi hai, is samyaktvabhāv se pariṇām karatā huā muni āṭh karmon kā nāsh karake nirvāṇ ko prāpta karatā hai.. 14.. āge kahate hain ki jo paradravya men rat hai vah mithyādr̥uṣhṭi hokar karmoṅko bān̐dhatā haiḥ–––

arthaḥ––paradravya se durgati hotī hai aur svadravyase sugati hotī hai yah spaṣhṭa (– pragaṭ)
paradravya unase virati karo.
bhāvārthaḥ––lokamen bhī yah rīti hai ki apane dravyase rati karake apanā hī bhogatā hai vah
lekar bhogatā hai usako usako duḥkh hotā hai, āpatti uṭhānī paṛatī hai. isaliye āchārya ne
saṅkṣhep men upadesh diyā hai ki apane ātmasvabhāvamen rati karo isase sugati hai, svargādik bhī
isī se hote hain aur mokṣha bhī isī se hotā hai aur paradravya se prīti mat karo isase durgati
hotī hai, sansār men bhramaṇ hotā hai.
yahān̐ koī kahatā hai ki svadravyamen līn hone se mokṣha hotā hai aur sugati – durgati to
kahā hai ki paradravya se virakta hokar svadravya men līn hove tab vishuddhatā bahut hotī hai, us
vishuddhatā ke nimitta se shubhakarma bhī ban̐dhate hain aur jab atyant vishuddhatā hotī hai tab karmon kī
nirjarā hokar mokṣha hotā hai, isaliye sugati–durgatikā honā kahā yah yukta hai, isaprakār
jānanā chāhiye.. 16..
āge shiṣhya pūchhatā hai ki paradravya kaisā hai? usakā uttar āchārya kahate hainḥ–––
tan paradavvan bhaṇiyan avitatthan savvadarisīhĩn.. 17..
–e jāṇī, nijadravye ramo, paradravyathī viramo tame. 16.

arthaḥ––ātmasvabhāvase anya sachitta to strī, putrādik jīv sahit vastu tathā achitta
dhan, dhānya, hiraṇya suvarṇādik achetan vastu aur mishra ābhūṣhaṇādi sahit manuṣhya tathā kuṭumba
sahit gr̥uhādik ye sab paradravya hain, isaprakār jisane jīvādik padārthoṅkā svarūp nahīn jānā
usako samajhāne ke liye sarvadarshī sarvagna bhagavānane kahā hai athavā ‘avitatthan’ arthāt satyārtha
kahā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––apane gnānasvarūp ātmā sivāy anya chetan, achetan, mishra vastu hain ve sab
āge kahate hain ki ātmasvabhāv svadravya kāh vah is prakār haiḥ–––
suddhan jiṇehin kahiyan appāṇan havadi saddavvan.. 18..
duṣhṭāṣhṭakarmarahitan anupaman gnānavigrahan nityam. shuddhan jinaiḥ bhaṇitan ātmā bhavati svadravyam.. 18..
arthaḥ––sansār ke duḥkh dene vāle gnānāvarādik duṣhṭa aṣhṭakarmon se rahit or jisako kisī kī upamā nahīn aisā anupam, jisako gnān hī sharīr hai aur jisakā nāsh nahīn hai aisā avināshī nitya hai aur shuddha arthāt vikār rahit kevalagnānamayī ātmā jin bhagavān sarvagna ne kahā hai vah hī svadravya hai. bhāvārthaḥ––gnānānandamay, amūrtik, gnānamūrti apanī ātmā hai vahī ek svadravya hai, anya sab chetan, achetan, mishra paradravya haĩn.. 18..
āge kahate hain ki jo aise nijadravyakā dhyān karate hain ve nirvāṇ pāte hainḥ–––
te jiṇavarāṇ magge aṇulaggā lahahin ṇivyāṇan.. 19..
je shuddha bhākhyo jinavare, te ātamā svadraa chhe. 18.

arthaḥ––jo muni paradravyase parāṅmukh hokar svadravya jo nij ātmadravyakā dhyān karate hain ve pragaṭ sucharitra arthāt nirdoṣh chāritrayukta hote hue jinavar tīrthaṅkaroṅke mārgakā anulagna – (anusandhān, anusaraṇ) karate hue nirvāṇako prāpta karate haĩn. bhāvārthaḥ––paradravya kā tyāg kar jo apane svarūp kā dhyān karate hain ve nishchay – chāritrarūp hokar jinamārga men lagate hain, ve mokṣha ko prāpta karet haĩn.. 19..
āge kahate hain ki jinamārga men lagā huā shuddhātmākā dhyān kar mokṣhako prāpta karatā hai, to kyā usase svarga nahīn prāpta kar sakatā hai? avashya hī prāpta kar sakatā haiḥ–––
jeṇ lahai ṇivvāṇan ṇa lahaikin tiṇ suraloyan.. 20..
yen labhate nirvāṇan na labhate kin ten suralokam.. 20..
arthaḥ–– yogī dhyānī muni hai vah jinavar bhagavānake matase shuddha ātmāko dhyānamen dhyātā hai usase nirvāṇ ko prāpta karatā hai, to usase kyā svarga lok nahīn prāpta kar sakate hain? avashya hī prāpta kar sakate haĩn. bhāvārthaḥ––koī jānatā hogā ki jo jinamārga men lagakar ātmākā dhyān karatā hai vah mokṣhako prāpta karatā hai aur svarga to isase hotā nahīn hai, usako kahā hai ki jinamārga men pravartane vālā shuddha ātmā kā dhyān ke mokṣha prāpta karāt hai, to usase svarga lok kyā kaṭhin hai? yah to usake mārgamen hī hai.. 20.. āge is arthako dr̥uṣhṭānt dvārā dr̥urḥ karate hainḥ––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

arthaḥ–– jo puruṣh baṛā bhār lekar ek dinamen sau yojan chalā jāve vah is pr̥ithvītalapar ādhā kosh kyā na chalā jāve? yah pragaṭ–spaṣhṭa jāno. bhāvārthaḥ––jo puruṣh baṛā bhār lekarok din men sau yojan chale usake ādhā kosh chalanā to atyant sugam huā, aise hī jinamārga se mokṣha pāve to svarga pānā to atyant sugam hai.. 21.. āge isī arthakā anya dr̥uṣhṭānt kahate hainḥ–––
so kin jippai ikkin ṇareṇ saṅgāmae suhaḍo.. 22..
sa kin jīyate eken nareṇ saṅgrāme subhaṭaḥ.. 22..
arthaḥ––jo koī subhaṭ saṅgrāmamen sab hī saṅgramāke karanevāloṅke sāth karoṛ manuṣhyoṅko bhī sugamatāse jīte vah subhaṭ ek manuṣhyako kyā na jīte? avashya hī jīte. bhāvārthaḥ––jo jinamārgamen pravarte vah karmakā nāsh kare hī, to kyā svarga ke rokane vāle ek pāpakarma kā nāsh na karen? avashya hī karẽn.. 22.. āge kahate hain ki svarga to tapase [shubharāgarūpī tap dvārā] sab hī prāpta karate hain, parantu dhyānake yog se svarga prāpta karate hain ve us dhyānake yogase mokṣha bhī prāpta karate hainḥ––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

arthaḥ––shubharāgarūpī tap dvārā svarga to sab hī pāte hain tathāpi jo dhyānake yogase svarga pāte hain ve hī dhyānake yogase paralok men shāshvat sukh ko prāpta karate haĩn. bhāvārthaḥ––kāyakleshādik tap to sab hī matake dhārak karate hain, ve tapasvī mandakaṣhāyake nimitta se sab hī svargako prāpta karate hain , parantu jo dhyān ke dvārā svarga prāpta karate hain ve jinamārga men kahe hue dhyān ke yogase paralok men jisamen shāshvat sukh hai aise nirvāṇ ko prāpta karate haĩn.. 23.. āge dhyānake yog se mokṣhako prāpta karate hain usako dr̥uṣhṭānt dārṣhṭānt dvārā karate hainḥ–––
kālāīladdhīe appā paramappao havadi.. 24..
kālādilabdhyā ātmā paramātmā bhavati.. 24..
arthaḥ––jaise suvarṇa–pāṣhāṇ sodhane kī sāmagrīke sambandh se shuddha suvarṇa ho jātā hai vaise hī kāl ādi labdhi jo dravya, kṣhetra, kāl aur bhāvarūp sāmagrī kī prāpti se yah ātmā karmake sanyog se ashuddha hai vahī paramātmā ho jātā hai. bhāvārthaḥ–––sugam hai..24.. āge kahate hai ki sansār men vrat, tapase svarga hotā hai vah vrat tap bhalā hai parantu avratādik se narakādik gati hotī hai vah avratādik shreṣhṭha nahīn haiḥ––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
te ātamā paralokamān pāme sushāshvat saukhyane. 23.
jyam shuddhatā pāme suvarṇa atīv shobhan yogathī,

arthaḥ––vrat aur tapase svarga hotā hai vah shreṣhṭha hai, parantu avrat aur atapase prāṇī ko
narakagati men duḥkh hotā hai vah mat hove, shreṣhṭha nahīn hai. chhāyā aur ātap men baiṭhane vāle ke
pratipālak kāraṇon men baṛā bhed hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––jaise chhāyākā kāraṇ to vr̥ukṣhādik hain unakī chhāyāmen jo baiṭhe vah sukh pāve
hai vah dukhako prāpta karatā hai, isaprakār inamen baṛā bhed hai; isaprakār hī jo vrat, tapakā
ācharaṇ karatā hai vah svargake sukhako prāpta karatā hai aur jo inakā ācharaṇ nahīn karatā hai,
viṣhay–kaṣhāyādikakā sevan karatā hai vah narak ke duḥkh ko prāpta karatā hai, isaprakār inamen
baṛā bhed hai. isaliye yahān̐ kahanekā yah āshay hai ki jab tak nirvāṇ na ho tab tak vrat tap
ādik men pravartanā shreṣhṭha hai, isase sānsārik sukh kī prāpti hai aur nirvāṇake sādhan men bhī ye
sahakārī haĩn. viṣhay–kaṣhāyādik kī pravr̥uttikā phalato keval narakādikake duḥkh hain, un duḥkhoṅke
kāraṇoṅkā sevan karanā yah to baṛī bhūl hai, isaprakār jānanā chāhiye.. 25..
āge kahate hain ki sansār men rahe tabatak vrat, tap pālanā shreṣhṭha kahā, parantu jo sansār

arthaḥ––jo jīv rudra arthāt baṛe vistārarūp sansārarūpī samudra se nikalanā chāhatā hai vah jīv karmarūpī īndhanako dahan karanevāle shuddha ātmā kā dhyān karatā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––nirvāṇ kī prāpti karmakā nāsh ho tab hotī hai aur karmakā nāsh shuddhātmā ke dhyān se hotā hai ataḥ jo sansārase nikalakar mokṣhako chāhe vah shuddha ātmā jo ki––– karmamalase rahit anantachatuṣhṭay sahit [nij nishchay] paramātmā hai usakā dhyān karatā hai. mokṣhakā upāy isake binā anya nahīn hai.. 26.. āge ātmākā dhyān karanekī vidhi batāte hainḥ–––
loy vavahāravirado appā jhāeh jhāṇattho.. 27..
lokavyavahāravirataḥ ātmānan dhyāyati dhyānasthaḥ.. 27..
arthaḥ––muni sab kaṣhayoṅko chhoṛakar tathā gārav, mad, rāg, dveṣh tathā moh inako chhoṛakar aur lokavyavahār se virakta hokar dhyānamen sthit huā ātmākā dhyān karatā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––muni ātmākā dhyān aisā hokar kare–––pratham to krodh, mān, māyā, lobh in sab kaṣhāyoṅko chhoṛe, gāravako chhoṛe, mad jāti ādike bhedase āṭh prakārakā hai usako chhoṛe, rāgadveṣh chhoṛe aur lokavyavahār jo saṅghamen rahanemen paraspar vinayāchār, vaiyāvr̥utya, dhamorupadesh, parḥanā, parḥānā hai usako bhī chhoṛe, dhyān men sthit hojāve, isaprakār ātmākā dhyān kare. yahān̐ koī pūchhe ki–––sab kaṣhāyoṅkā chhoṛanā kahā hai usamen to gārav madādik ā gaye phir inako bhinna bhinna kyon kahe? usakā samādhān isaprakār hai ki––ye sab kaṣhāyon men to garbhit hain kintu visheṣharūpase batalāne ke liye bhinna bhinna kahe haĩn. kaṣhāy ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

kī pravr̥utti isaprakār hai––jo apane liye aniṣhṭa ho usase krodh kare, anyako nīchā mānakar mān kare, kisī kārya nimitta kapaṭ kare, āhārādikamen lobh kare. yah gārav hai vah ras, r̥uddhi aur sāt––aise tīn prakārakā hai ye yadyapi mānakaṣhāyamen garbhit hain to bhī pramādakī bahulatā inamen hai isaliye bhinnarūpase kahe haĩn. mad–jāti, lābh, kul, rūp, tap, bal, vidyā, aishvarya inakā hotā hai vah na kare. rāg–dveṣh prīti–aprīti ko kahate hain, kisīse prīti karanā, kisī se aprīti karanā, isaprakār lakṣhaṇake bhedase bhed karake kahā. moh nām parase mamatvabhāvakā hai, sansārakā mamatva to munike hai hī nahīn parantu dharmānurāgase shiṣhya ādi men mamatva kā vyavahār hai vah bhī chhoṛe. isaprakār bhed– vivakṣhā se bhinna bhinna kahe hain, ye dhyān ke ghātak bhāv hain, inako chhoṛe binā dhyān hotā nahīn hai isaliye jaise dhyān ho vaise kare..27.. āge isīko visheṣharūp se kahate hainḥ–––
moṇavvaeṇ joi joyattho joyae appā.. 28..
maunavraten yogī yogasthaḥ dyotayati ātmānam.. 28..
arthaḥ––yogī dhyānī muni hai vah mithyātva, agnān, pāp–puṇya inako man–vachan–kāy
se chhoṛakar maunavratake dvārā dhyānamen sthit hokar ātmākā dhyān karatā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––kaī anyamatī yogī dhyānī kahalāte hain, isaliye jainaliṅgī bhī kisī
dravyaliṅgīke dhāraṇ karane se dhyānī mānā jāy to usake niṣhedh ke nimitta isaprakār kahā hai– ––mithyātva aur agnān ko chhoṛakar ātmāke svarūpako yathārtha jānakar samyak shraddhān to jisane nahīn kiyā usake mithyātva–agnān to lagā rahā tab dhyān kisakā ho tathā puṇya–pāp donon bandhasvarūp hain inamen prīti–aprīti rahatī hai, jab tak mokṣhakā svarūp bhī jānā nahīn hai tab dhyān kisakā ho aur [samyak prakār svarūpagupta svaastimen ṭhaharakar] man vachanakī pravr̥utti chhoṛakar maun na kare to ekāgratā kaise ho? ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

arthaḥ––jisarūp ko main dekhatā hūn̐ vah rūp mūrtik vastu hai, jaṛ hai, achetan hai, sab prakārase, kuchh bhī jānatā nahīn hai aur main gnāyak hūn̐, amūrtik hū̃n. yah to jaṛ achetan hai sab prakārase, kuchh bhī jānatā nahīn hai, isaliye main kisase bolūn̐? bhāvārthaḥ––yadi dūsarā koī paraspar bāt karane vālā ho tab paraspar bolanā sambhav hai, kintu ātmā to amūrtik hai usako vachan bolanā nahīn hai aur jo rūpī pudgal hai vah achetan hai, kisī ko jānatā nahīn dekhatā nahī̃n. isaliye dhyān kenevālā kahatā hai ki––main kisase bolūn̐? isaliye mere maun hai.. 26.. āge kahate hain ki isaprakār dhyān karanese sab karmoṅke āsravakā nirodh karake sañchit karmoṅkā nāsh karatā hainḥ–––

arthaḥ––yog dhyānamen sthit huā yogī muni sab karmoṅke āsravakā nirodh karake
samvarayukta hokar pahile bān̐dhe hue karma jo sañchayarūp hain unakā kṣhay karatā hai, isaprakār
jinadevane kahā he vah jāno.
bhāvārthaḥ––dhyānase karmakā āsrav rukatā hai isase āgāmī bandh nahīn hotā hai aur pūrva
dhyānakā mahātmya hai.. 30..
āge kahate hain ki jo vyavahār tatpar hai usake yah dhyān nahīn hotā haiḥ–––
jo jaggadi vavahāre so sutto appaṇo kajje.. 31..
yaḥ jāgarti vyavahāre saḥ suptaḥ ātmanaḥ kārye.. 31..
arthaḥ––jo yogī dhyānī muni vyavahār men sotā hai vah apane svarūp ke kāmamen jāgatā
hai aur jo vyavahār men jāgatā hai vah apane ātmamakārya men sotā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––munike sansārī vyavahār to kuchh hai nahīn aur yadi hai to muni kaisā? vah to
nahīn hai; sab pravr̥uttiyoṅkī nivr̥utti karake dhyān karatā hai vah vyavahāramen sotā huā kahalātā hai
aur apane ātmasvarūpamen līn hokar dekhatā hai, jānatā hai vah apane ātmakārya men jāgatā hai.
parantu jo is vyavahār men tatpar hai–––sāvadhān hai, svarūp kī dr̥uṣhṭi nahīn hai vah vyavahār men
jāgatā huā kahalātā hai.. 31..
āge yah kahate hain ki yogī pūrvokta kathanako jānake vyavahārako chhoṛakar ātamakārya

dhyāyati paramātmānan yathā bhaṇitan jinavarendraiḥ.. 32..
arthaḥ––isaprakār pūrvokta kathanako jānakar yogī dhyānī muni hai vah sarva vyavahārako
sab prakār hī chhoṛ detā hai aur paramātmākā dhyān karatā hai––jaise jinavarendra tīrthaṅkar
sarvagnadev ne kahā hai vaise hī paramātmākā dhyān karatā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––sarvathā sarva vyavahārako chhoṛanā kahā, usakā āshay isaprakār hai ki–––
hai vaise hī paramātmākā dhyān karanā. anyamatī paramātmākā svarūp anek prakārase anyathā kahate
hain usake dhyānakā bhī ve anyathā upadesh karate hain usakā niṣhedh kiyā hai. jinadevane
paramātmākā tathā dhyānakā bhī svarūp kahā vah satyārtha hai, pramāṇabhūt hai vaise hī jo yogīshvar
karate hain ve hī nirvāṇ ko prāpta karate haĩn.. 32..
āge jinadevane jaise dhyān adhyayan pravr̥utti kahī hai vaise hī upadesh karate hainḥ–––
rayaṇattayasañjutto jhāṇajjhayaṇan sayā kuṇaha.. 33..
ratnatrayasanyuktaḥ dhyānādhyayanan sadā kuru.. 33..
arthaḥ––āchārya kahate hain ki jo pān̐ch mahāvrat yukta ho gayā tathā pān̐ch samiti va tīn guptiyonse yukta ho gayā aur samyagdarshan–gnān–chāritrarūpī ratnatrayase sanyuktaho gayā, aise banakar he munirājon! tum dhyān aur adhyayan–shāstrake abhyāsako sadā karo. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

eṣhaṇā, ādānanikṣhepaṇ, pratiṣhṭhāpanā ye pān̐ch samiti aur man, vachan, kāyake nigraharūp tīn gupti–––yah terah prakārakā chāritra jinadev ne kahā hai usase yukta ho aur nishchay– vyavahārarūp, manyagadarshan–gnān–chāritra kahā hai, inase yukta hokar dhyān aur adhyayan karanekā upadesh hai. inamen pradhān to dhyān hī hai aur yadi isamen man na ruke to shāstra abhyāsamen manako lagāve yah bhī dhyānatulya hī hai, kyoṅki shāstramen paramātmāke svarūpakā nirṇay hai so yah dhyānakā hī aṅg hai.. 33.. āge kahate hain ki jo ratnatray kī ārādhanā karatā hai vah jīv ārādhak hī haiḥ–
ārāhaṇāvihaṇan tassa phalan kevalan ṇāṇan.. 34..
ārādhanāvidhānan tasya phalan kevalan gnānam.. 34..
arthaḥ––ratnatray samayagdarshan–gnān–chāritrakī ārādhanā karate hue jīvako ārādhak
jānanā aur ārādhanāke vidhānakā phal kevalagnān hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––jo samyagdarshan–gnān–chāritrakī ārādhanā karatā hai vah kevalagnānako prāpta
āge kahate hain ki shuddhātmā hai vah kevalagnān hai aur kevalagnān hai vah shuddhātmā haiḥ––
so jiṇavarehin bhaṇio jāṇ tuman kevalan ṇāṇan.. 35..
ārādhanānun vidhān kevalagnānaphaḷadāyak aho! 34.
chhe siddha, ātmā shuddha chhe sarvagnānīdarshī chhe,

arthaḥ––ātmā jinavaradev ne aisā kahā hai, kesā hai? siddha hai––kisī se utpanna nahīn huā hai svayansiddha hai, shuddha hai–––karmamalase rahit hai, sarvagna hai–––sab lokālok ko jānatā hai aur sarvadarshī hai–––sab lok–alok ko dekhatā hai, isaprakār ātmā hai vah he muni! usahīko tū kevalagnān jān athavā us kevalagnān hī ko ātmā jāna. ātmā men aur gnān men kuchh pradeshabhed nahīn hai, guṇ–guṇī bhed hai vah gauṇ hai. yah ārādhanā kā phal pahile kevalagnān kahā, vahī hai.. 35.. āge kahate hain ki jo yogī jinadevake matase ratnatrayakī ārādhanā karatā hai vah ātmākā dhyān karatā haiḥ–––
so jhāyadi appāṇan pariharai paran ṇa sandeho.. 36..
saḥ dhyāyati ātmānan pariharati paran na sandehaḥ.. 36..
arthaḥ––jo yogī dhyānī muni jineshvaradevake matakī āgnāse ratnatray–samyagdarshan, gnān,
chāritrakī nishchayase ārādhanā karatā hai vah pragaṭarūp se ātmākā hī dhyān karatā hai, kyoṅki
ratnatray ātmākā guṇ hai aur guṇ–guṇīmen bhed nahīn hai. ratnatray kī ārādhanā hai vah ātmākī
hī ārādhanā hai vah hī paradravyako chhoṛatā hai isamen sandeh nahīn hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––yahān̐ jānanevālā tathā dekhanevālā aur tyāganevālā darshan, gnān, chāritrako
karttā ātmā hai, isaliye ye tīn ātmā hī hai, guṇ–guṇīmen koī pradeshabhed nahīn hotā hai.
isaprakār ratnatray hai vah ātmā hī hai, isaprakār jānanā..37..
āge isī artha ko anya prakāse kahate hainḥ–––
chārittan parihāro parūviyan jiṇavarindehĩn.. 38..
chāritran parihāraḥ prajalpitan jinavarendraiḥ.. 38..
arthaḥ––tatvaruchi samyaktva hai, tattvakā grahaṇ samyaggnān hai, parihār chāritra hai,
isaprakār jinavarendra tīrthaṅkar sarvagnadevane kahā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––jīv, ajīv, āsrav, bandh, samvar, nirjarā, mokṣha in tattvoṅkā shraddhān ruchi
pratīti samyagdarshan hai, inahī ko jānanā samyaggnān hai aur paradravyake parihār sambandhī kriyā kī nivr̥utti chāritra hai; isaprakār jineshvaradevane kahā hai, inako nishchay–vyavahār nayase āgamake anusār sādhanā.. 38.. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

darshanavihīn puruṣhaḥ na labhate tan iṣhṭan lābham.. 39..
arthaḥ––jo puruṣh darshanase shuddha hai vah hī shuddha hai, kyoki jisakā darshan shuddha hai vahī
nirvāṇ ko pātā hai aur jo puruṣh samyagdarshan se rahit hai vah puruṣh īpsit lābh arthāt
mokṣhako prāpta nahīn kar sakatā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––lokamen prasiddha hai ki koī puruṣh koī vastu chāhe aur usakī ruchi prātīti
hai.. 39..
āge kahate hain ki aisā samyagdarshanako grahaṇ karane kā upadesh sār hai, usako jo
tan sammattan bhaṇiyan savaṇāṇan sāvayāṇan pi.. 40..
tat samyaktvan bhaṇitan shramaṇānān shrāvakāṇāmapi.. 40..
arthaḥ––isaprakār samyagdarshan – gnān – chāritrakā upadesh sār hai, jo jarā va maraṇ
ko haranevālā hai, isako jo mānatā hai shraddhān karatā hai vah hī samyaktva kahā hai. vah muniyon
tathā shrāvakoṅko sabhī ko kahā hai isaliye samyaktvapūrvak gnān chāritra ko aṅgīkār karo.
bhāvārthaḥ––jīvake jitane bhāv hain unamen samayagdarshan – gnān –chāritra sār hain uttam
darshanarahit je puruṣh te pāme na ichchhit lābhane. 39.
jaramaraṇahar ā sārabhūt upadesh shraddhe spaṣhṭa je,

hain, jīvake hit hain, aur inamen bhī samyagdarshan pradhān hai kyoṅki isake binā gnān, chāritra bhī mithyā kahalāte hain, isaliye samyagdarshan pradhān jānakar pahile aṅgīkār karanā, yah upadesh muni tathā shrāvak sabhīko hai.. 40.. āge samyaggnānakā svarūp kahate hainḥ–––
tan saṇṇāṇan bhaṇiyan aviyatthan savvadarasīhĩn.. 41..
tat sañgnānan bhaṇitan avitathan sarvadarshibhiḥ.. 41..
arthaḥ––jo yogī muni jīv –ajīv padārthake bhed jinavarake matase jānatā hai vah samyaggnān hai aisā sarvadarshī – sabako dekhanevāle sarvagna dev ne kahā hai ataḥ vah hī satyārtha hai, anya chhadmasthakā kahā huā satyārtha nahīn hai asatyārtha hai, sarvagnakā kahā huā hī satyārtha hai. bhāvārthaḥ––sarvagnadev ne jīv, pudgal, dharma, adharma, ākāsh, kāl ye jāti apekṣhā chhah dravya kahe haĩn. [saṅkhyā apekṣhā ek, ek, asaṅkhya aur anantānant haĩn.] inamen jīv ko darshan– gnānamayī chetanāsvarūp kahā hai, yah sadā amūrtik hai arthāt sparsha, ras, gandh, varṇase rahit hai. pudgal ādi pān̐ch dravyoṅko ajīv kahe hain ye achetan hain – jaṛ haĩn. inamen pudgal sparsha, ras, gandh, varṇa, shabdasahit mūrtik (–rūpī) hain, indriyagochar hai, anya amūrtik haĩn. ākash ādi chār to jaise hain vaise hī rahate haĩn. jīv aur pudgal ke anādi sambandh haĩn. chhadmasthake indriyagochar pudgal skandh hain unako grahaṇ karake jīv rāg–dveṣh–moharūpī pariṇaman karatā hai sharīrādiko apanā mānatā hai tathā iṣhṭa–aniṣhṭa mānakar rāg–dveṣharūp hotā hai, isase navīn pudgal karmarūp hokar bandhako prāpta hotā hai, yah nimitta–naimittik bhāv hai, isaprakār yah jīv agnānī hotā huā jīv–pudgalake bhedako na jānakar mithyāgnānī hotā hai. isaliye āchārya kahate hain ki jinadevake mat se jīv–ajīvakā bhed jānakar samyagdarshan kā svarūp jānanā. isaprakār jinadevane kahā vah hī satyārtha hai, pramāṇ–nayake dvārā aise hī siddha hotā hai isaliye jinadev sarvagnane sab vastuko pratyakṣha dekhakar kahā hai. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
