guṇagaṇavibhūṣhitāṅgaḥ heyopādeyanishchitaḥ sādhuḥ.
dhyānādhyayane surataḥ saḥ prāpnoti uttaman sthānam.. 102..
arthaḥ––aisā sādhu uttam sthān jo mokṣha usakī prāpti karatā hai arthāt jo sādhu vairāgya tatpar ho sansār–deh–bhogonse pahile virakta hokar muni huā usī bhāvanā yukta ho, paradravyase parāṅmukh ho, jaise vairāgya huā vaise hī paradravyakā tyāg usase parāṅmukh rahe, sansār sambandhī indriyonse dvārā viṣhayon se sukhasā hotā hai usase virakta ho, apane ātmīk shuddha arthāt kaṣhāyoṅke kṣhobh se rahit nirākul, shāntabhāvarūp gnānānanda men anurakta ho, līn ho, bārambār usī kī bhāvanā rahe. jisakā ātmapradesharūp aṅg guṇase vibhūṣhit ho, jo mūlaguṇ, uttaraguṇon se ātmāko alaṅkr̥ut–shobhāyamān kiye ho, jisake hey–upādey tattva kā nishchay ho, nij ātmadravya to upādey hai aur aisā jisake nishchay ho ki–––anya paradravyake nimitta se hue apane vikārabhāv ye sab hey haĩn. sādhu hokar ātmāke svabhāv ke sādhane men bhalī bhān̐ti tatpar ho, dharma–shukladhyān aur adhyātmashāstron ko parḥakar gnānakī bhāvanā men tatpar ho, surat ho, bhale prakār līn ho. aisā sādhu uttamasthān jo lokashikhar par siddhakṣhetra tathā mithyātva ādi chaudah guṇasthānonse pare shuddhasvabhāvarūp mokṣhasthān ko pātā hai. bhāvārthaḥ––mokṣhake sādhane ke ye upāy hain anya kuchh nahīn haĩn.. 101–102.. āge āchārya kahate hain ki sarvase uttam padārtha shuddha ātmā hai, vah dehamen hī rah rahā hai usako jānoḥ–––
thuvvantehin thuṇijjai dehatthan kin pi tan muṇaha.. 103..
stūyamānaiḥ stūyate dehasthan kimapi tat jānīta.. 103..

lok men namaskār karane yogya indrādik hain unase to namaskār karane yogya, dhyān karane yogya hai aur stuti kene yogya jo tīrthaṅkarādi hain unase bhī stuti karane yogya hai, aisā kuchh hai vah is deh hī men sthit hai usako yathārtha jāno. bhāvārthaḥ–– shuddha paramātmā hai vah yadyapi karmase āchchhādit hai, to bhī bhedagnānī is deh hī men sthit kā dhyān karake tīrthaṅkarādi bhī mokṣha prāpta karate hain, isaliye aisā kahā hai ki–– lok men namane yogya to indriādik hain aur dhyān karane yogya tīrthaṅkarādik hain tathā stuti karane yogya tīrthaṅkarādik hain ve bhī jisako namaskār karate hain, jisakā dhyān karate hain stuti karate hain aisā kuchh vachanake agochar bhedagnāniyon ke anubhavagochar paramātma vastu hai, usakā svarūp jāno, usako namaskār karo, usakā dhyān karo, bāhar kisaliye ḍhūṇḍhate ho isaprakār upadesh hai.. 103.. āge āchārya kahate hain ki jo arahantādik pañch parameṣhṭhī hain ve bhī ātmāmen hī hain isaliye ātmā hī sharaṇ haiḥ–––
te vi hu chiṭṭhahi āde tamhā ādā hu me saraṇan.. 104..
te api sphuṭan tiṣhṭhanti ātmani tasmādātmā sphuṭan me sharaṇan.. 104..
cheṣhṭārūp hain, ātmākī avasthā hain, isaliye mere ātmāhī kā sharaṇ hai, isaprakār āchārya ne
abhedanay pradhān karake kahā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––ye pān̐ch pad ātmā hī ke hain, jab yah ātmā ghātikarmakā nāsh karatā hai tab
arahantapad hotā hai, vahī ātmā aghātikarmoṅkā nāsh kar nirvāṇ ko prāpta hotā hai tab siddhapad kahalātā hai, jab shikṣhā–dīkṣhā denevālā muni hotā hai tab āchārya kahalātā hai, paṭhan–pāṭhanamen tatpar muni hotā hai tab apādhyāy kahalātā hai aur jan ratnatrayasvarūp mokṣhamārga ko keval sādhatā hai tab sādhu kahalātā hai, isaprakār pān̐chon pad ātmā hī men haĩn. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

mokṣhapāhuḍ][339 so āchārya vichār karate hain ki jo is dehamen ātmā sthiti hai so yadyapi [svayam]karma āchchhādit hai to bhī pān̐chon padoṅke yogya hain, isīke shuddha svarūpakā dhyān karanā pān̐chon padoṅkā dhyān hai, isaliye mere is ātmāhī kā sharaṇ hai aisī bhāvanā kī hai pan̐chaparameṣhṭhī kā dhyān rūp antamaṅgal batāyā hai.. 104.. āge kahate hain ki jo antasamādhimaraṇ men chār ārādhanā kā ārādhan kahā hai yah bhī ātmā hī kī cheṣhṭā hai, isaliye ātmā hī kā mere sharaṇ haiḥ–––
chauro chiṭṭhahi āde tamhā ādā hu me saraṇan.. 105..
chattvāraḥ tiṣhṭhanti ātmani tasmādātmā sphuṭan me sharaṇan.. 105..
arthaḥ––samyagdarshan, samyaggnān, samyagchāritra aur samyak tap ye chār ārādhan hain, ye
bhī ātmāmen hī cheṣhṭārūp hain, te chāron ātmā hī kī avasthā hai, isaliye āchārya kahate hain ki
mere ātmā hī kā sharaṇ hai.. 105..[bhagavatī ārādhanā gāthā nan0 2]
bhāvārthaḥ––ātmākā nishchay–vyavahārātmak tattvārthashraddhānarūp pariṇām samyagdarshan hai, sanshay vimoh vibhram rahit aur nishchayavyavahār se nijasvarūp kā yathārtha jānanā samyaggnān hai, samyaggnānase tattvārthoṅko jānakar rāgadveṣhādik rahit pariṇām honā samyakchāritra hai, apanī shakti anusār samyaggnānapūrvak kaṣhṭakā ādar kar svarūpakā sādhanā samyaktap hai, isaprakār ye chāron hī pariṇām ātmā ke hain, isaliye āchārya kahate hain ki mere ātmā hī kā sharaṇ hai, isī kī bhāvanā men chāron ā gaye.
antasallekhanā men chār ārādhanā kā ārādhan kahā hai, samyagdarshan gnān chāritra tap in chāron kā udyot, udyavan, nirvahaṇ, sādhan aur nistaraṇ aise pañchaprakār ārādhanā kahī hai, vah ātmā ko bhāne men (– ātmākī bhāvanā–ekāgratā karane men) chāron ā gaye, aise antasallekhanā kī bhāvanā isī men ā gaī aise jānanā tathā ātmā hī paramamaṅgalarūp hai aisā bhī batāyā hai.. 105

yaḥ paṭhati shrr̥uṇoti bhāvayati saḥ prāpnoti shāshvatan saukhyan.. 106..
arthaḥ––pūrvokta prakār jinadev ke kahe hue mokṣhapāhuḍ granth ko jīv bhakti–bhāvase
parḥate hain, isakī bārambār chintavanarūp bhāvanā karate hain tathā sunate hain, ve jīv shāshvat sukh,
nitya atīndriy gnānānandamay sukh ko pāte haĩn.
bhāvārthaḥ––mokṣhapāhuḍ meh mokṣha aur mokṣhake kāraṇ kā svarūp kahā hai aur jo mokṣha ke kāraṇ kā svarūp anya prakār mānate hain unakā niṣhedh kiyā hai, isaliye is granth ke parḥane , sunane se usake yathārtha svarūpakā gnān–shraddhān ācharaṇ hotā hai, us dhyān se karma kā nāsh hotā hai aur isakī bārambār bhāvanā karane se usamen dr̥urḥ hokar ekāgradhyān kī sāmarthya hotī hai, us dhyānase karmakā nāsh hokar shāshvat sukharūp mokṣhakī prāpti hotī hai. isaliye is granthako parḥanā–sunanā nirantar bhāvanā rakhanī aisā āshay hai.. 106.. is prakār shrī kundakunda āchārya ne yah mokṣha pāhuḍ granth sampūrṇa kiyā. isakā saṅkṣhep is prakār hai ki ––yah javi shuddha darshanagnānamayī chetanārūp hai to bhī anādi hī se pudgal karmake sanyog se agnān mithyātva rāg–dveṣhādik vibhāvarūp pariṇamatā hai isaliye navīn karmabandhake santānase sansār men bhramaṇ karatā hai. jīvakī pravr̥utti ke siddhānt men sāmānyarūp se chodah guṇasthān nirūpaṇ kiye hain–––inamen mithyātva ke uday se mithyātva guṇasthān hotā hai , mithyātvakī sahakāriṇī anantānubandhī kaṣhāy hai, keval usake uday se sāsādan guṇasthān hotā hai aur samyaktva–mithyātva donoṅke milāparūp mishraprakr̥iti ke uday se mishraguṇasthān hotā hai, in tīn guṇasthānon men to ātmabhāvanā kā abhāv hī hai. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

jab kālalabdhike nimitta se jīvājīv padārthon kā gnān–shraddhān hone par samyaktva hotā hai tab is jīv ko apanā aur parakā, hit–ahit kā tathā hey–upādey kā jānanā hotā hai tab ātmā kī bhāvanā hotī hai tab avirat nām chauthā guṇasthān hotā hai. jab ekadesh paradravya se nivr̥utti kā pariṇām hotā hai tab jo ekadesh chāritrarūp pān̐chavān̐ guṇasthān hotā hai usako shrāvak pad kahate haĩn. sarvadesh paradravya se nivr̥uttirūp pariṇām ho tab sakalachāritrarūp chhaṭṭhā guṇasthān hotā hai, isamen kuchh sañjvalan chāritramoh ke tīvra uday se svarūp ke sādhan men pramād hotā hai, isaliye isakā nām pramatta hai, yahān̐ se lagākar ūparake guṇasthān vālon ko sādhu kahate haĩn. [ svasanmukhatārūp nij pariṇām kī prāpti kā nām hī upādānarūp nishchayakālabdhi hai, vah ho to us samay bāhya dravya – kṣhetra – kālādi chit sāmagrī nimitta hai–––upachār kāraṇ hai, anyathā upachār bhī nahī̃n.] jab sañjvalan chāritramohakā mand uday hotā hai tab pramādakā abhāv hokar svarūpake sādhane men baṛā udyam hotā hai tab isakā nām apramatta aisā sātavān̐ guṇasthān hai, isamen dharmadhyān kī pūrṇatā hai. jab is guṇasthān men svarūp men līn ho tab sātishay apramatta hotā hai. shreṇī kā prārambha karatā hai, tab isase ūpar chāritramohakā avyakta udayarūp apūrvakaraṇ, anivr̥uttkiraṇ, sūkṣhmasāmparāy nām dhārak ye tīn guṇasthān hote haĩn. chauthe se lagākar dasaven sūkṣhmasāmparāy tak karma kī nirjarā visheṣharūp se guṇashreṇīrūp hotī hai. isase ūpar mohakarma ke ābhāvarūp gyārahavān̐, bārahavān̐, upashāntakaṣhāy, kṣhīṇakaṣhāy guṇasthān hote haĩn. isake pīchhe sheṣh tīn ghātiyā karmoṅkā nāsh kar anantachatuṣhṭay pragaṭ hokar arahant hotā hai yah sanyogī jin nām guṇasthān hai, yahān̐ yog kī pravr̥utti hai. yogoṅkā nirodhakar ayogī jin nāmakā chaudahavān̐ guṇasthān hotā hai, yahān̐ aghātiyā karmon kā bhī nāsh karake lagatā hī anantar samayamen nirvāṇ pad ko prāpta hotā hai, yahān̐ sansār ke abhāvase mokṣha nām pātā hai.
isaprakār sab karmon kā abhāvarūp mokṣha hotā hai, isake kāraṇ samyagdarshan – gnān – chāritra kahe, inakī pravr̥utti chauthe guṇasthānase samyaktva pragaṭ hone par ekadesh hotī hai, yahān̐ se lagākar āge jaise jaise karmakā abhāv hotā hai vaise vaise samyagdarshan

ādi kī pravr̥utti barḥatī jātī hai, jab ghāti karmakā abhāv hotā hai tab terahaven guṇasthān men arahant hokar jīvan mukta kahalāte hain or chaudahaven guṇasthān ke ant men ratnatray kī pūrṇatā hotī hai, isaliye aghāti karmakā bhī nāsh hokar abhāv hotā hai tab sākṣhāt mo siddha kahalāte haĩn. isaprakār mokṣhakā or mokṣhake kāraṇ svarūp jin–āgam se jānakar aur samyagadarshan – gnān– chāritra mokṣha ke kāraṇ kahe hain inako nishchay–vyavahārarūp yathārtha jānakar sevan karanā. tap bhī mokṣhakā kāraṇ hai use bhī chāritra men antarbhūt kar trayātmak hī kahā hai. isaprakār in kāraṇonse pratham to tadbhav hī mokṣha hotā hai. jabatak kāraṇakī pūrṇatā nahīn hotī hai usase pahile kadāchit āyukarma kī pūrṇatā ho jāy to svarga men dev hotā hai, vahān̐ bhī yah vāñchhā rahatī hai yah shubhopayog kā aparādh hai, yahān̐ se chay kar manuṣhya hoūn̐gā tab samyagdarshan mokṣhamārga kā sevan kar mokṣha prāpta karūn̐gā, aisī bhāvanā rahatī hai tab vahān̐ se chay ke mokṣha pātā hai. [ puruṣhārtha siddhi – upāy shlok nan0 220 ‘ratnatrayarūp dharma hai vah nirvāṇakā hī kāraṇ hai aur us samay puṇyakā āsrav hotā hai vah aparādh shubhopayogakā kāraṇ hai.’]
abhī is pamvam kāl men dravya, kṣhetra, kāl, bhāvakī sāmagrī kā nimitta nahīn hai isaliye tadbhav mokṣha nahīn hai, to bhī jo ratnaḷay kā shuddhatāpūrvak pālan kare to yahān̐ se dev paryāy pākar pīchhe manuṣhya hokar mokṣha pātā hai. isaliye yah upadesh hai – jaise bane vaise ratnatrayakī prāpti upāy karanā, isamen bhī samyagdarshan pradhān hai isakā upāy to avashya chāhiye isaliye jināgam ko samajhakar samyaktvakā upāy karanā yogya hai, isaprakār is granthakā saṅkṣhep jāno.

pañch param guru pad kamal granth ant hatikāra.. 2..
yahān̐ koī pūchhe ––ki granthommen jahān̐ tahān̐, pañch ṇamokār kī mahimā bahut likhī hai, maṅgalakārya men vidhnako dūr karane ke liye ise hī pradhān kahā hai aur isamen pañch–parameṣhṭhī ko namaskār hai vah pañchaparameṣhṭhī kī pradhānatā huī, pañchaparameṣhṭhī ko param guru kahe isamen isī mantra kī mahimā tathā maṅgalarūpapanā aur isase vidhna kā nivāraṇ, pañch–parameṣhṭhī ke pradhānapanā aur gurupanā tathā namaskār karane yogyapanā kaise hai? vah kaho. isake samādhānarūp kuchh likhate hainḥ–––pratham to pañchaṇamokār mantra hai, isake paintīs akṣhar hain, ye mantra ke bījākṣhar hain tathā inakā yog sab mantronse pradhān hai, in akṣharoṅkā guru āmnāy se shuddha uchchāraṇ ho tathā sādhan yathārtha ho tab ye akṣhar kārya men vidhna ke dūr karane men kāraṇ hain isaliye maṅgalarūp haĩn. ‘ma’ arthāt pāp ko gāle use maṅgal kahate hain tathā ‘maṅg’ arthāt sukh ko lāve, de, usako maṅgal kahate hain, isase donon kārya hote haĩn. uchchāraṇ ke vidhna ṭalate hain, artha kā vichār karane par sukh hotā hai, isī se isako mantron men pradhān kahā hai, isaprakār to mantra ke āshray mahimā hai.
pañchaparameṣhṭhī ko namaskār isamen hai–––ve pañchaparameṣhṭhī arahant, siddha, āchārya, upādhyāy, aur sādhu ye hain, inakā svarūp to granthon men prasiddha hai, to bhī kuchh likhate hainḥ–––yah anādinidhan akr̥utrim sarvagna kī paramparā se āgam men kahā hai aisā ṣhaddravya svarūp lok hai, jisamen jīvadravya anantānant hain aur pudgal dravya isake anantānant guṇe hain, ek–ek dharmadravya, adharmadravya hain aur kāladravya asaṅkhyāt dravya haĩn. jīv to darshan–gnānamayī chetanā svarūp hai. ajīv pān̐ch hain ye chetanā rahit jaṛ hain––dharma, adharma, ākāsh aur kāl ye chār dravya to jaise hain vaise hī rahate hain, inake vikār pariṇati nahīn hai, jīv pudgal dravya ke paraspar nimitta – naimittikabhāv se vibhāv pariṇati hai, isamen bhī pudgal to jaṛ hai, isake vibhāv paraṇiti kā duḥkh–sukh kā vedan nahīn hai aur jīv chetan hai isake duḥkh – sukh kā vedan hai.
jīv anantānant hain isamen kaī to sansārī hain, kaī sansār se nivr̥utta hokar siddha ho chuke haĩn. sansārī jīvon men kaī to abhavya hain tathā abhavya ke samān hain ye donon jāti ke sansār ke nivr̥utta kabhī nahīn hote hain, isake sansār anādi nidhan hai.

kaī bhavya hain, ye sansār se nivr̥utta hokar siddha hote hain, isaprakār jīvon kī vyavasthā hai. ab inake sansār kī utpatti kaise hai vah kahate hainḥ––– jīvon ke gnānāvaraṇādi āṭh karmon kā anādibandharūp paryāy hai, is bandh ke uday ke nimitta se jīv rāgadveṣh mohādi vibhāvapariṇatirūp pariṇamatā hai, is vibhāv pariṇati ke nimitta se navīn karmabandh hotā hai, isaprakār inake santān paramparā se jīv ke chaturgatirūp sansār kī pravr̥utti hotī hai, is sansār men chāron gatiyommen anek prakār sukh–duḥkharūp bhramaṇ huā karatā hai; tab koī kāl aisā āve jab mukta honā nikaṭ ho tab sarvagna ke upadesh kā nimitta pākar apane svarūp ko aur karmabandhake svarūp ko, apane bhītarī vibhāv ke svarūp ko jāne inakā bhedavignān ho, tab paradravya ko sansār kā nimitta jānakar isase virakta ho, apane svarūp ke anubhav kā sādhan kare––darshan–gnānarūp svabhāv men sthir hone kā sādhan kare tab isake bāhya sādhan hinsādik pañch pāpon kā tyāgarūp nirgranth pad, ––sab parigrah kī tyāgarūp nirgranth digambar mudrā dhāraṇ kare, pān̐ch mahāvrat, pān̐ch samitirūp, tīn guptirūp pravarte tab sab jīvon par dayā karanevālā sādhu kahalātā hai. isamen tīn pad hote hain–––jo āp sādhu hokar anyako sādhupadakī shikṣhā–dīkṣhā de vah āchārya kahalātā hai, sādhu hokar jinasūtra ko parḥe parḥāve vah upādhyāy kahalātā hai, jo apane svarūpake sādhan men rahe vah sādhu kahalātā hai, jo sādhu hokar apane svarūp ke sādhan ke dhyānake balase chār ghātiyā karmoṅkā nāsh kar kevalagnān, kevaladarshan, anantasukh or anantavīrya ko prāpta ho vah arahant kahalātā hai, tab tīrthaṅkar tathā sāmānyakevalī––jin indrādikase pūjya hotā hai, inakī vāṇī khiratī hai, jisase sab jīvon kā upakār hotā hai, ahinsā dharma kā upadesh hotā hai, sab jīvon kī rakṣhā karāte hain yathārtha padārthon kā svarūp batākar mokṣhamārga dikhāte hain, isaprakār arahant pad hotā hai aur jo chār aghātiyā karmon kā bhī nāshakar sab karmon se rahit ho jāten hain vah siddha kahalāte haĩn.
isaprakār ye pān̐ch pad hain, ye anya sab jīvonse mahān hain isaliye pañchaparameṣhṭhī kahalāte hain, inake nām tathā svarūpake darshan, smaraṇ, dhyān, pūjan namaskār se anya jīvon ke shubh pariṇām hote hain isaliye pāp kā nāsh hotā hai, vartamān vidhnakā vilay hotā hai āgāmī puṇya kā bandh hotā hai, isaliye svargādik shubhagati pātā hai.

mokṣhapāhuḍ][345 inakī agnānusār pravartanase paramparāse sansār se nivr̥utti bhī hotī hai, isaliye ye pān̐ch parameṣhṭhī sab jīvon ke upakārī paramaguru hain, sab sansārī jīvon se pūjya haĩn. inake sivāy anya sansārī jīv rāgadveṣh mohādi vikāron se malin hain, ye pūjya nahīn hai, inake mahānapanā, gurupanā, pūjyapanā nahīn hai, āp hī karmoṅke vash malin hain tab anyakā pāp inase kaise kaṭe? isaprakār jinamat men in pañch parameṣhṭhī kā mahānapanā prasiddha hai aur nyāyake bal se bhī aisā hī siddha hotā hai, kyoṅki jo sansār ke bhramaṇ se rahit hon ve hī anya ke sansārakā bhramaṇ miṭāne ko kāraṇ hote haĩn. jaise jisake pās dhanādi vastu ho vahī anyako dhanādik de aur āp daridrī ho tab anya kī daridratā kaise meṭe, isaprakār jānanā. jinako sansār ke dukh meṭane hon aur sansārabhramaṇake duḥkharūp janma–maraṇ se rahit honā ho ve arahantādik pañch parameṣhṭhī kā nām mantra japo, inake svarūp kā darshan, smaraṇ, dhyān karo, isase shubh pariṇām hokar pāpakā nāsh hotā hai, sab vidhna ṭalate hain, paramparā se sansārakā bhramaṇ miṭatā hai, karmoṅkā nāsh hokar muktikī prāpti hotī hai, aisā jinamatakā upadesh hai ataḥ bhavya jīvon ke aṅgīkār karane yogya hai. yahān̐ koī kahe––– anyamat men brahmā, viṣhṇu, shiv ādik iṣhṭadev mānate hain unake bhī vidhna ṭalate dekhe jāte hain tathā unake mat men rājādi baṛe–baṛe puruṣh dekhe jāte hain, unake bhī ve iṣhṭa vidhnādik ko meṭānevāle hain aise hī tumhāre bhī kahate ho, aisā kyon kahate ho ki yah pan̐ch parameṣhṭhī hī pradhān hai anya nahīn? usako kahate hain, he bhāī! jīvon ke duḥkh to sansārabhramaṇ kā hai aur sansār bhramaṇ ke kāraṇ rāg dveṣh mohādi pariṇām hain tathā rāgādik vartamān men ākulatāmayī duḥkhasvarūp hain, isaliye ye brahmādik iṣhṭa dev kahe ye to rāgādik tathā kām– krodhādi yukta hain, agnānatap ke phal se kaī jīv sab lok men chamatkār sahit rājādik baṛā pad pāte hain, unako log baṛā mānakar brahmādik bhagavān kahane lag jāte hain aur kahate hain ki yah parameshvar brahmākā avatār hai, to aise mānane se to kuchh mokṣhamārgī tathā mokṣharūp hotā nahīn hai, sansārī hī rahatā hai.
aise hī anyadev sab padavāle jānane, ve āp hī rāgādik se duḥkharūp hain, janma–maraṇ sahit hain ve parakā–sansārakā duḥkh kaise meṭeṅge? unake matamen vidhnakā ṭalanā aur rājādik baṛe puruṣh hote kahe jāte hain, vahān̐ to un jīvon ke pahile kuchh shubh karma bandhe the unakā phal hai. pūrvajanma men kiñchit shubh pariṇām kiyā thā isaliye puṇyakarma ban̐dhā thā, usake udayase kuchh vidhna ṭalate hain aur rājādik pad pāte hain, vah to pahile

kuchh agnānatap kiyā hai usakā phal hai, yah to puṇyapāparūp sansār kī cheṣhṭā hai, isamen kuchh baṛāī nahīn hai, baṛāī to vah hai jisase sansār kā bhramaṇ miṭe so yah to vītarāg vignān bhāvonse hī miṭegā, is vītarāgavignān bhāvayukta pan̐ch parameṣhṭhī hain ye hī sansārabhramaṇ kā duḥkh miṭāne men kāraṇ haĩn. vartamān men kuchh pūrva shubhakarma ke uday se puṇyakā chamatkār dekhakar tathā pāpakā duḥkh dekhakar bhramamen nahīn paṛanā, puṇya pāp donon sansār hain inase rahit mokṣha hai, ataḥ sansār se chhūṭakar mokṣha ho aisā upāy karanā. vartamānakā bhī vidhna jaisā pan̐ch parameṣhṭhī ke nām, mantra, dhyān, darshan, smaraṇ se miṭegā vaisā anyake nāmādik se to nahīn miṭegā, kyoṅki ye pan̐chaparameṣhṭhī hī shāntirūp hain, keval shubh paraṇiāmon hī ke kāraṇ haĩn. anya iṣhṭa ke rūp to raudrarūp hain, inake darshan smaraṇ to rāgādik tathā bhayādikake kāraṇ hain, inase to shubh pariṇām hote dikhate nahīn haĩn. kisī ke kadāchit kuchh dharmānurāg ke vash se shubh pariṇām hon to vah unase huā nahīn kahalātā, us prāṇī ke svābhāvik dharmānurāg ke vash se hotā hai. isaliye atishayavān shubh pariṇām kā kāraṇ to shāntirūp pan̐ch parameṣhṭhī hī kā rūp hai, ataḥ isī kā ārādhan karanā, vadyathā khoṭī yukti sunakar bhramamen nahīn paṛanā, aise jānanā.

usakā niṣhedh karane ke liye liṅganirūpaṇ shāstra āchārya ne rachā hai, isakī ādi men ghātikarma kā nāshakar anantachatuṣhṭay prāpta karake arahant hue, inhonne yathārtharūp se shramaṇ kā mārga pravartāyā aur us liṅg ko sādhakar siddha hue, isaprakār arahant siddhon ko namaskār karane kī pratignā kī hai.. 1.. āge kahate hain ki jo liṅg bāhyabheṣh hai vah antaraṅg dharma sahit kāryakārī haiḥ–––
jāṇehi bhāv dhamman kin te liṅgaṇ kāyavvo.. 2..
jānīhi bhāvadharman kin te liṅgen kartavyam.. 2..
arthaḥ––dharma sahit to liṅg hotā hai parantu liṅgamātra hī dharma kī prāpti nahīn hai,
isaliye he bhavyajīv! tū bhāvarūp dharma ko jān aur keval liṅg hī se terā kyā kārya hotā hai
arthāt kuchh bhī nahīn hotā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––yahān̐ aisā jāno ki ––liṅg aisā chinha kā nām hai, vah bāhya bheṣh dhāraṇ
chinha satyārtha hotā hai aur is vītarāgasvarūp ātmā ke dharma ke binā liṅg jo bāhya bheṣhamātra
se dharma kī sampatti–samyak prāpti nahīn hai, isaliye upadesh diyā hai ki antaraṅg bhāvadharma rāg–
dveṣh rahit ātmā kā shuddha gnān–darshanarūp svabhāv dharma hai use he bhavya! tū jān, is bāhya
liṅg bheṣh mātra se kyā kām? kuchh bhī nahī̃n. yahān̐ aisā bhī jānanā li jinamat men liṅg tīn
kahe hain––ek to munikā yathājāt digambar liṅg 1, dūjā utkr̥uṣhṭa shrāvak kā 2, tījā
āryikā kā 3, in tīnon hī liṅgon ko dhāraṇ kar bhraṣhṭa ho jo kukriyā karate hain isakā niṣhedh
hai. anyamat ke kaī bheṣh hain inako bhī dhāraṇ karake jo kukriyā karate hain vah bhī nindā pāte hain,
isaliye bheṣh dhāraṇ karake kukriyā nahīn karanā aisā batāyā hai.. 2..
āge kahate hain ki jo jinaliṅg nirgranth digambararūp ko grahaṇ kar kukriyā karake han̐sī

arthaḥ––jo jinavarendra arthāt tīrthaṅkar devake liṅg nagna digambararūp ko grahaṇ karake
liṅgīpane ke bhāv ko upahāsatā hai––hāsyamātra samajhātā hai vah liṅgī arthāt bheṣhī jisakī
buddhi pāpase mohit hai vah nārad jaisā hai athavā is gāthā ke chauthe pādakā pāṭhāntar aisā hai–
–‘liṅgan ṇāsedi liṅgīṇan’ isakā artha––yah liṅgī anya jo koī liṅgoṅke dhārak hain unake
liṅg ko bhī naṣhṭa karatā hai, aisā batātā hai ki liṅgī sab aise hī hote haĩn.
bhāvārthaḥ––liṅgadhārī hokar bhī pāpabaddhi se kuchh kukriyā kare tab usane liṅgapane ko hāsyamātra samajhā, kuchh kāryakārī nahīn samajhā. liṅgīpanā to bhāvashuddhi se shobhā pātā hai, jab bhāv bigaṛe tab bāhya kukriyā karane lag gayā tab isane is liṅg ko lajāyā aur anya liṅgiyon ke liṅg ko bhī kalaṅk lagāyā, log kahane lage ki liṅgī aise hī hote hain athavā jaise nāradakā bheṣh hai usamen vah apanī ichchhānusār svachchhand pravartatā hai, vaise hī yah bhī bheṣhī ṭhaharā, isaliye āchārya ne aisā āshay dhāraṇ karake kahā hai ki jinendra ke bheṣh ko lajānā yogya nahīn hai.. 3..
āge liṅg dhāraṇ karake kukriyā kare usako pragaṭ karate hainḥ–––
so pāvamohid madī tirikkha joṇī ṇa so samaṇo.. 4..

arthaḥ––jo liṅgarūp karake nr̥itya karatā hai gātā hai vāditra bajātā hai so pāpase mohit budvivālā hai, tiryañchayoni hai, pashu hai, shramaṇ nahīn hai. bhāvārthaḥ––liṅg dhāraṇ karake bhāv bigāṛakar nāchanā, gānā, bajānā ityādi kriyāyen karatā hai vah pāpabuddhi hai pashu hai agnānī hai, manuṣhya nahīn hai, manuṣhya ho to shramaṇapanā rakkhe. jaise nārad bheṣhadhārī nāchatā hai, gātā hai, bajātā hai, vaise yah bhī bheṣhī huā tab uttam bheṣh ko lajāyā, isaliye liṅg dhāraṇ karake aisā honā yukta nahīn hai..4.. āge phir kahate hainḥ–––

pashu hai, agnānī hai, shramaṇ to nahīn hai shramaṇapane ko bigāṛatā hai, aise jānanā.. 5..

arthaḥ––jo liṅgī bahut mān kaṣhāyase garvamān huā nirantar kalah karatā hai, vād karatā
hai, dyūtakrīṛā karatā hai vah pāpī narakako prāpta hotā hai aur pāpase aise hī karatā rahatā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––jo gr̥uhastharūp karake aisī kriyā karatā hai usako to yah ulāhanā nahīn hai,
jāve, parantu liṅg dhāraṇ karake usarūp se kukriyā karatā hai to usako upadesh bhī nahīn
lagatā hai, isase narak kā hī pātra hotā hai.. 6..
āge phir kahate haiḥ–––
so pāvamohidamadī hiṇḍadi sansārakantāre.. 7..
saḥ pāpamohitamatiḥ hiṇḍate sansārakāntāre.. 7..
arthaḥ––pāp se upahat arthāt ghāt kiyā gayā hai ātmabhāv jisakā aisā hotā huā
jo liṅgī kā rūp karake abrahmakā sevan karatā hai vah pāp se mohit buddhivālā liṅgī
sansārarūpī kāntār–––van men bhramaṇ karatā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ–– pahile to liṅg dhāraṇ kiyā aur pīchhe aisā pāp–pariṇām huā ki
na ho? jisake amr̥ut bhī jahararūp pariṇame unake rog jāne kī kyā āshā? vaise hī yah
huā, aise kā sansār kaṭanā kaṭhin hai.. 7..

arthaḥ––yadi liṅgarūp karake darshan gnān chāritra ko to upadhānarūp nahīn kiye [–dhāraṇ
nahīn kiye] aur ārttadhyān ko dhyātā hai to aisā liṅgī anant sansārī hotā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––liṅg dhāraṇ karake darshan gnān chāritrakā sevan karanā thā vah to nahīn kiyā aur parigrah kuṭumba ādi viṣhayoṅkā parigrah chhoṛā usakī phir chintā karake ārttadhyān–dhyāne lagā tab anant sansārī kyon na ho? isakā tātparya hai ki–––samyagdarshanādi rūp bhāv to pahile hue nahīn aur kuchh kāraṇ pākar liṅg dhāraṇ kar liyā, usakī avadhi kyā? pahile bhāv shuddha karake liṅg dhāraṇ karanā yukta hai.. 8.. āge kahate hain ki yadi bhāv shuddhike binā gr̥uhasthapad chhoṛe to yah pravr̥utti hotī haiḥ––– –
vachchadi ṇarayan pāo karamāṇo liṅgiruveṇa.. 9..
vrajati narakan pāpaḥ kurvāṇaḥ liṅgirupeṇa.. 9..
bahānā kisān kā kārya, vāṇijya vyāpār arthāt vaishyakā kārya aur jīvaghāt arthāt vaidyakarma
ke liye jīvaghāt karanā athavā dhīvarādikā kārya, in kāryon ko karatā hai vah liṅgarūp dhāraṇ
karake aise pāpakārya karatā huā pāpī narakako prāpta hotā hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––gr̥uhasthapad chhoṛakar shuddhabhāv binā liṅgī huā thā, isakī bhāvakī ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
ne dhyān dhyāve ārta, teh anant sansārī muni. 8.

liṅgapāhuḍ][353 vāsanā miṭī nahīn tab liṅgī kā rūp dhāraṇ karake bhī gr̥uhastha kārya karane lagā, āp vivāh nahīn karatā hai to bhī gr̥uhasthoṅke sambandh karākar vivāh karātā hai tathā khetī, vyāpār jīvahinsā āp karatā hai aur gr̥uhasthoṅko karātā hai, tab pāpī hokar narak jātā hai. aise bheṣh dhārane se to gr̥uhastha hī bhakā thā, padakā pāp to nahīn lagatā, isaliye aise bheṣh dhāraṇ karanā uchit nahīn hai yah upadesh hai.. 9.. āge phir kahate hainḥ–––
yantreṇ dīvyamānaḥ gachchhati liṅgī narakayāsan.. 10..
lāpar arthāt jhūṭh bolane vāloṅke yuddha aur vivād karātā hai aur tīvrakarma jinamen bahut pāp
utpanna ho aise taevra kaṣhāyoṅke kāryon se tathā yantra arthāt chaupaṛ, shatarañj, pāsā, hindolā
ādi se kriṛā karatā rahatā hai, vah narak jātā hai. yahān̐ ‘lāurāṇan’ kā pāṭhāntar aisā bhī hai
rāulāṇan isakā artha–––rāval arthāt rājakārya karane vālon ke yuddha vivād karātā hai, aise
jānanā.
bhāvārthaḥ–– liṅg dhāraṇ karake aise kārya kare to narak hī pātā hai isamen sanshay nahīn hai.. 10.. āge kahate hain ki jo liṅg dhāraṇ karake liṅgayogya kārya karatā huā duḥkhī rahatā hai, un kāryoṅkā ādar nahīn karatā, vah bhī narak men jātā haiḥ––– ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

arthaḥ––jo liṅg dhāraṇ karake in kriyāoṅko karatā huā bādhyamān hokar pīṛā pātā hai, duḥkhī hotā hai vah liṅgī narakavāsī ko pātā hai. ve kriyāyen kyā hai? pratham to darshan gnān chāritra men inakā nishchay–vyavahārarūp dhāraṇ karanā, tap–anashanādik bārah prakārake shaktike anusār karanā, sanyam–indriyoṅko aur man ko vash men karanā tathā jīvon kī rakṣhā karanā, niyam arthāt nitya kuchh tyāg karanā aur nityakarma arthāt āvashyak ādi kriyāoṅko nitya samay par nitya karanā, ye liṅgake yogya kriyāyen hain, in kriyāoṅko karatā huā duḥkhī hotā hai vah narak pātā hai. [‘ātma hit hetu virāg–gnān so lakhai āpako kaṣhṭadān’ munipad arthāt mokṣhamārga usako to vah kaṣhṭadātā mānatā hai ataḥ vah mithyāruchivān hai] bhāvārthaḥ––liṅg dhāraṇ karake ye kārya karane the, inakā to nirādar kare or pramād seve, liṅgake yogya kārya karatā huā duḥkhī ho, tab jāno ki isake bhāvashuddhipūrvak liṅg grahaṇ nahīn huā aur bhāv bigaṛane par to usakā phal narak hī hotā hai, isaprakār jānanā.. 11.. āge kahate hain ki jo bhojanamen bhī rasoṅkā lolupī hotā hai vah bhī liṅgako lajātā haiḥ–––

arthaḥ––jo lihag dhāraṇ karake bhojan men bhī ras kī gr̥uddhi arthāt āsaktatā ko
karatā rahatā hai vah kandarpa ādikamen vartatā hai, usake kām–sevanakī vāñchhā tathā pramād
nidrādik prachur mātrā men barḥ jāte hain tab ‘liṅgavyavāyī’ arthāt vyabhichārī hotā hai, māyāvī
arthāt kāmasevan ke liye anek chhal karanā vichāratā hai, jo aisā hotā hai vah tiryañchayoni hai,
pashutulya hai, manuṣhya nahīn hai, isaliye shramaṇ bhī nahīn hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––gr̥uhasthapad chhoṛakar āhār men lolupatā karane lagā to gr̥uhasthapad men anek
ko pahichānā hī nahīn hai isaliye viṣhayasukh kī chāh rahī tab bhojan ke rasakī, sāthake anya
bhī viṣhayon kī chāh hotī hai tab vyabhichār ādi men pravartan kar liṅg ko lajātā hai, aise liṅg
se to gr̥uhasthapad hī shreṣhṭha hai, aise jānanā.. 12..
āge phir isī ko visheṣharūp se kahate hainḥ–––
avaraparuī santo jiṇamaggi ṇa hoi so samaṇo.. 13..
aparaprarupī san jinamārgī na bhavati saḥ shramaṇaḥ.. 13..
arthaḥ––jo liṅgadhārī piṇḍ arthāt āhārake nimitta dauḍā hai, āhārake nimitta kalah
karake āhārako bhogatā hai, khātā hai, aur usake nimitta anyase paraspar īrṣhā karatā hai vah
shramaṇ jinamārgī nahīn hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––is kāl men jinaliṅgī se bhraṣhṭa hokar pahile arddhaphālak hue, pīchhe unamen
shvetāmbarādi saṅgh hue, unhonne shithilāchār puṣhṭa kar liṅg kī pravr̥utti bigāṛī, unakā yah niṣhedh hai. inamen ab bhī kaī aise dekhe jāte hain jo–––āhārake liye shīghra dauṛate hain, īryāpathakī sudh nahīn hai aur āhār gr̥uhasthake ghar se lākar do–chār shāmil ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––

baiṭhakar khāte hain, isamen baṭavāre men saras, nīras, āve tab parasapar kalah karate hain aur usake nimitta paraspar īrṣhā karate hain, isaprakār kī pravr̥utti karen tab kaise dhamaṇ hue? ve jinamārgī to hain nahīn, kalikāl ke bheṣhī haĩn. inako sādhu mānate hain ve bhī agnānī haĩn.. 13.. āge phir kahate haiḥ––––
jiṇaliṅg dhāranto choreṇ va hoi so samaṇo.. 14..
jinaliṅgan dhārayan chaureṇev bhavati saḥ shramaṇaḥ.. 14..
arthaḥ––jo binā diyā to dān letā hai aur parokṣha parake dūṣhaṇonse parakī nindā karatā
hai vah jinaliṅgako dhāraṇ karatā huā bhī chorake samān shramaṇ hai.
bhāvārthaḥ––jo jinaliṅg dhāraṇ karake binā diyā āhār ādiko grahaṇ karatā hai,
chhipakar kārya karanā ye to chorake kārya haĩn. yah bheṣh dhāraṇ karake aise karane lagā tab chor hī
ṭhaharā, isaliye aisā bheṣhī honā yogya nahīn hai.. 14..
āge kahate hain ki jo liṅg dhāraṇ karake aise pravartate hain ve shramaṇ nahīn hainḥ–––
iriyāvah dhāranto tirikkhajoṇī ṇa so samaṇo.. 15..
īnryāpathan dhārayan tiryagyoniḥ na sa shramaṇaḥ.. 15..
