bodhapāhuḍ][117 dharma to usake dayārūp pāyā jātā hai usako sādhakar tīrthaṅkar ho gaye, tab dhan kī aur sansār ke bhog kī prāpti ho gaī, lokapūjya ho gaye, aur tīrthaṅkar ke paramapad men dīkṣhā lekar, sab moh se rahit hokar, paramārthasvarūp ātmikadharmako sādhakar, mokṣhasukhako prāpta kar liyā aise tīrthaṅkar jin hain, ve hī ‘dev’ haĩn. agnānī log jinako dev mānate hain unake dharma, artha, kām, mokṣha nahīn hai, kyoṅki kaī hinsak hain, kaī viṣhayāsakta hain, mohī hain unake dharma kaisā? aise dev sachche jinadev hī hain, vahī bhavya jīvoṅke manorath pūrṇa karate hain, anya sab kalpit dev haĩn.. 25.. isaprakār dev kā svarūp kahā. vayasammattavisuddhe pañchendiyasañjade ṇirāvekkhe.
ṇhāeu muṇī titthe, dikkhāsikkhāsuṇhāṇeṇṇa.. 26..
vratasamyaktva vishuddhe pañchedriyasanyate nirapekṣhe.
snātu muniḥ tīrthe dīkṣhāshikṣhāsusnānena.. 26..

arthaḥ
––vrat–samyaktva se vishuddha aur pān̐ch indriyonse sanyat arthāt samvar sahit tathā
nirapekṣha arthāt khyāti, lābh, pūjādik is lokake phalakī tathā paralokamen svargādikake
bhogoṅkī apekṣhāse rahit , ––––aise ātmasvarūp tīrthan men dīkṣhā–shikṣhārūp snānase pavitra
hoo!

bhāvārthaḥ––tatvārtha shraddhān lakṣhaṇ sahit, pān̐ch mahāvratase shuddha aur pān̐ch indriyoṅke
viṣhayonse virakta, is lok–paralokamen viṣhay bhogon kī vān̐chhāse rahit aise nirmal ātmāke
svabhāvarūp tīrtha men snān karanese pavitra hote hain––aisī preraṇā karate haĩn.. 26..

āge phir kahate hainḥ––

jan ṇimmalan sudhamman sammattan sañjaman tavan ṇāṇan.
tan titthan jiṇamagge havei jadi santibhāveṇa.. 27..
yat nirmalan sudharman, samyaktvan sanyaman tapaḥ gnānam.
tat tīrthan jinamārge bhavati yadi shāntabhāvena.. 27..
arthaḥ––jinamārga men vah tīrtha hai jo nirmal uttam kṣhamādik dharma tathā tattvārtha–
shraddhānalakṣhaṇ, shaṅkādimalarahit nirmal samyaktva tathā indriy–manako vashamen karanā, ṣhaṭkāyake
jīvoṅkī rakṣhā karanā, isaprakār jo nirmal sanyam, tathā anashan, avamaudarya, vr̥uttiparisaṅkhyān,
rasaparityāg, vivaktashayyāsan, kāyaklesh, aise bāhya chhah prakār ke tap aur prāyashchit, vinay,
vaieyāvr̥utta, svādhyāy, vyutsarga, dhyān aise chhah prakār ke antaraṅg tap––isaprakār bārah prakārake
nirmal tap aur jīv–ajīv ādi padārthoṅkā yathārtha gnān ye ‘tīrtha’ hain, ye bhī yadi shāntabhāv
sahit hon, kaṣhāyabhāv na hon tab nirmal tīrtha hain, kyoṅki yadi ye krodhādi bhāv sahit hon to
malinatā ho aur nirmalatā na rahe.

bhāvārthaḥ––jin mārga men to isaprakār tīrtha kahā hai. log sāgar–nadiyon ko tīrtha
mānakar snān karake pavitra honā chāhate hain; vahān̐ sharīrakā bāhyamal inase kuchh utaratā hai parantu
sharīrake bhītarakā dhātu–upadhāturūp antamarla inase utaratā nahīn hai, tathā gnānāvaraṇ ādi
karmarūp mal aur agnān rāg–dveṣh–moh ādi bhāv karmarūp ātmā ke antaramal hain vah to
inase kuchh bhī utarate nahīn hain, ulaṭā hinsādik se pāpakarmarūp mal lagatā hai; isaliye sāgar
nadī ādiko tīrtha mānanā bhram hai. jisase tire so ‘tīrtha’ hai, ––isaprakār jinamārga men kahā
hai, use hī sansār samudra se tārane vālā jānanā.. 27..

isaprakār tīrtha kā svarūp kahā.

ṇāme ṭhavaṇe hi ya sandavve bhāve hi saguṇapajjāyā.
chauṇāgadi sampadime
1 bhāvā bhāvanti arahantan.. 28..
nāmni sansthāpanāyān hi cha sandravye bhāve cha saguṇaparyāyāḥ2.
chyavanamāgatiḥ sampat ime bhāvā bhāvayanti arhantam.. 28..

arthaḥ––nām, sthāpanā, dravya, bhāv ye chār bhāv arthāt padārtha hain ye arahant ko batalāte hain aur saguṇaparyāyāḥ arthāt arahant ke guṇ–paryāyon sahit tathā chauṇā arthāt chyavaṇ aur āgati va sampadā aise ye bhāv arahant ko batalāte haĩn.

bhāvārthaḥ––arahant shabda se yadyapi sāmānya apekṣhā kevalagnānī hon ve sab hī arahant hain to bhī yahān̐ tīrthaṅkar padakī pradhānatā se kathan karate hain isaliye nāmādikase batalānā kahā. lokavyavahār men nām ādi kī pravr̥utti isaprakār hai––jo jis vastu kā nām ho vaisā guṇ na ho usako nāmanikṣhep kahate haĩn. jis vastukā jaisā ākār ho us ākār kī kāṣhṭha– pāṣhāṇādikakī mūrti banākar usakā saṅkalpa kare usako sthāpanā kahate haĩn. jis vastukī pahalī avasthā ho usahīko āge kī avasthā pradhān karake kahen usako dravya kahate haĩn. vartamān men jo avasthā ho usako bhāv kahate haĩn. aise chār nikṣhepakī pravr̥utti hai. usakā kathan shāstra men bhī logoṅko samajhāne ke liye kiyā hai. jo nikṣhep vidhān dvārā nām, sthāpanā, dravyako bhāv na samajhe; nām ko nām samajhe, sthāpanā ko sthāpanā samajhe, dravya ko dravya samajhe, bhāv ko bhāv samajhe, anya ko anya samajhe, anyathā to ‘vyabhichār’ nāmak doṣh ātā hai. use dūr karane ke liye logon ko yathārtha samajhane ko shāstra men kathan hai. kintu yahān̐ vaisā nikṣhepakā kathan nahīn samajhanā. vahān̐ to nishchay kī pradhānatā se kathan hai so jaisā arahantakā nām hai vaisā hī guṇ sahit nām jānanā, jaisī unakī deh sahit mūrti hai vahī sthāpanā jānanā, jaisā unakā dravya hai vaisā dravya jānanā aur jaisā unakā bhāv hai vaisā hī bhāv jānanā .. 28.. isaprakār hī kathan āge kahate haĩn. pratham hī nām ko pradhān karake kahate hainḥ–– –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– 1 san0 prati men ‘sampadim’ pāṭh hai. 2 ‘saguṇapajjyā’ is pad kī chhāyā men ‘svaguṇ paryāyaḥ’ sa0 prati men hai.

abhidhān–sthāpan–dravya bhāve, svīy guṇaparyāyathī,
arhant jāṇī shakāy chhe āgati–chyavan–sampattithī. 28.

dansaṇ aṇant ṇāṇe mokkho ṇaṭṭhaṭṭhakammabandheṇa.
ṇiruvamaguṇamāruḍho arahanto eriso hoi.. 29..
darshanan1 anantan gnānan mokṣhaḥ naṣhṭāṣhṭakarmabandhena.
nirūpamaguṇamārūḍhaḥ arhan īdrasho bhavati.. 29..
arthaḥ––jinake darshan aur gnān ye to ananta hain, dhāti karmake nāsh se sab gney
padārthoṅko dekhanā va jānanā hai, aṣhṭa karmoṅkā bandh naṣhṭa hone se mokṣha hai. yahān̐ satva kī aur
uday kī vivakṣhā na lenā, kevalī ke āṭhonhī karmakā bandh nahīn hai. yadyapi sātā vedanīy kā
āsrav mātra bandh siddhānt men kahā hai tathāpi sthiti– anubhāgarūp bandh nahīn hai, isaliye abandh
tulya hī haĩn. isaprakār āṭhon hī karma bandhake abhāv kī apekṣhā bhāv mokṣha kahalātā hai aur
upamā rahit guṇonse ārūrḥ hain–sahit haĩn. isaprakār guṇ chhadmastha men kahīn bhī nahīn hai, isaliye
jinamen upamārahit guṇ hain aise arahant hote haĩn.

bhāvārthaḥ–keval nām mātra hī arahant hon usako atahant nahīn kahate haĩn. isaprakār ke
guṇon se sahit hon unakā nām arahant kahate haĩn.. 29..

āge phir kahate hainḥ––
jaravāhijammamaraṇan chaugaigamaṇan cha puṇṇapāvan cha.
hantūṇ dosakamme huu ṇāṇamayan cha arahanto.. 30..
jarāvyādhijanma maraṇan chaturgatigamanan puṇyapāpan cha.
hatvā doṣhakarmāṇi bhūtaḥ gnānamayashvārhan.. 30..

niḥsīm darshan–gnān chhe, vasubandhalayathī mokṣha chhe,

je puṇya–pāp, jarā–janam–vyādhi–maraṇ, gatibhramaṇane
vaḷī doṣhakarma haṇī thayā gnānādna, te arhant chhe. 30.

arthaḥ––jarā–burḥāpā, vyādhi–rog, janma–maraṇ, chāron gatiyommen gaman, puṇya–pāp aur doṣhoṅko utpanna karane vāle karmoṅkā nāsh karake, kevalagnānamayī arahant huā ho vah ‘arahant’ haĩn.

bhāvārthaḥ––pahilī gāthā men guṇoṅke sadbhāv se arahant nām kahā aur is gāthā men doṣhoṅke abhāv se arahant nām kahā. rāg, dveṣh, mad, moh, arati, chintā, bhay, nidrā, viṣhād, khed aur vismay ye gyārah doṣh to ghātikarma ke uday se hote hain aur kṣhudhā, tr̥ushā, janma, jarā, maraṇ, rog or sved ye sāt doṣh aghāti karma ke uday se hote haĩn. is gāthā men jarā, rog, janma, maraṇ aur chār gatiyon men gaman kā abhāv kahane se to aghātikarma se hue doṣhoṅkā abhāv jānanā, kyoṅki aghātikarma men in doṣhoṅko utpanna karane vālī pāpaprakr̥itiyoṅke uday kā arahant ko abhāv hai aur rāg–dveṣhādik doṣhoṅkā ghātikarma ke abhāv se abhāv hai. yahān̐ koī pūchhe––––arahant ko maraṇ kā aur puṇya kā abhāv kahā; mokṣhagaman honā yah ‘maraṇ’ arahant ke hai aur puṇya prakr̥itiyon kā uday pāyā jātā hai, unakā abhāv kaise? usakā samādhān–––yahān̐ maraṇ hokar phir sansār men janma ho isaprakār ke ‘maraṇ’ kī apekṣhā yah kathan hai, isaprakār maraṇ arahant ke nahīn hai; usīprakār jo puṇya prakr̥itikā uday pāp prakr̥iti sāpekṣha kare isaprakār puṇya ke udayakā abhāv jānanā athavā bandh – apekṣhā puṇyakā bhī bandh nahīn hai. sātāvedanīy bandhe vah sthiti–anubhāg binā abandhatulya hī hai.

prashnaḥ– kevalī ke asātā vedanīy kā uday bhī siddhānt men kahā hai, usakī prakr̥iti kaise hai?

uttaraḥ– isaprakār jo asātā kā atyanta mand – bilakul mand anubhāg uday hai aur sātā kā ati tīvra anubhāg uday hai, usake vash se asātā kuchh bāhya kārya karane men samartha nahīn hai, sūkṣhma uday dekar khir jātā hai tathā saṅkramaṇarūp hokar sātārūp ho jātā hai isaprakār jānanā. isaprakār anant chatuṣhṭay sahit sarvadoṣh rahit sarvagna vītarāg ho usako nām se ‘arahant’ kahate haĩn.. 30..

āge sthāpanā dvārā arahant kā varṇan karate hainḥ––
guṇaṭhāṇamaggaṇehin ya pajjattīpāṇajīvaṭhāṇehĩn.
ṭhāvaṇ pañchavihehin paṇayavvā arahapurisassa.. 31..

chhe sthāpanā arhantanī kartavya pāñch prakārathī,
–guṇ, mārgaṇā, paryāpti tem ja prāṇane jīvasthānathī. 31.

guṇasthānamārgaṇābhiḥ cha paryāptiprāṇajīvasthānaiḥ.
sthāpanā pañchavidhaiḥ praṇetavyā arhatpuruṣhasya.. 31..
arthaḥ––guṇasthān, mārgaṇāsthān, paryāpti, prāṇ aur jīvasthān in pān̐ch prakār se
arahant puruṣh kī sthāpanā prāpta karanā athavā usako praṇām karanā chāhiye.

bhāvārthaḥ––sthāpanānikṣhepamen kāṣhṭha – pāṣhāṇādik men saṅkalpa karanā kahā hai so yahān̐
pradhān nahīn hai. yahān̐ nishchay kī pradhānatā se kathan hai. yahān̐ guṇasthān ādik se arahant kā
sthāpan kahā hai.. 31..

āge visheṣh kahate hainḥ––
terahame guṇaṭhāṇe sajoikevaliy hoi arahanto.
chautīs aisayaguṇā honti hu tassaṭṭha paḍihārā.. 32..
trayodashe guṇasthāne sayogakevalikaḥ bhavati arhan.
chatustrinshat atishayaguṇā bhavanti sphuṭan tasyāṣhṭaprātihāryā.. 32..
arthaḥ––guṇasthān chaudah kahe hain, unamen sayogakevalī nām terahavān̐ guṇasthān hai. usamen
yogoṅkī pravr̥uttisahit kevalī sayogakevalī arahant hotā hai. unake chauntīs atishay aur āṭh
prārihārya hote hain, aise to guṇasthān dvārā ‘sthāpanā’ arahant kahalāte haĩn.

bhāvārthaḥ––yahān̐ chauntīs atishay aur āṭh prātihārya kahane se to samavasharaṇ men
virājamān tathā vihār karate hue arahant hain aur ‘sayog’ kahane se vihārī pravr̥utti aur vachan
kī pravr̥utti siddha hotī hai. ‘kevalī’ kahane se kevalagnān dvārā sab tattvoṅkā jānanā siddha hotā
hai. chauntīs atishay isaprakār hain–––janma se prakaṭ hone vāle dasḥ––1–malamūtra kā abhāv,
2–pasevakā abhāv, 3–dhaval rudhir honā, 4–samachaturasrasansthān, 5–vajravr̥uṣhabhanārāch sanhanan,
6–sundararūp, 7–sugandh sharīr, 8–shubhalakṣhaṇ honā, 9–ananta bal, 10–madhur vachan, isaprakār
das hote haĩn.

kevalagnān utpanna hone par das hote hainḥ––– 1–upasarga kā abhāv, 2–adayākā abhāv, 3–sharīr kī chhāyā na paṛanā, 4–chaturmakh dikhanā, 5–sab vidyāon kā svāmitva, 6– netroṅke palak na giranā, 7–shatayojan subhikṣhatā, 8–ākāshagaman, 9–kavalāhār nahīn honā, 10–nakh–keshoṅkā nahīn barḥanā, aise das hote haĩn. chaudah devakr̥ut hote hainḥ–––– 1–sakalārddhamāgadhī bhāṣhā, 2–sab jīvommen maitrī bhāv, 3– sab r̥utuke phal phūl phalanā, 4–darpaṇ samān bhūmi, 5–kaṇṭak rahit bhūmi, 6–mand sugandh pavan, 7–sabake ānand honā, 8–gandhodak vr̥uṣhṭi, 9–pairoṅke nīche kamal rachanā, 10–sarvadhānya niṣhpatti, 11–dason dishāon kā nirmal honā, 12–devon ke dvārā āhvānan, 13–dharmachakrakā āge chalanā, 14–aṣhṭamaṅgaladravyoṅkā āge chalanā. aṣhṭa maṅgal dravyoṅke nām 1–chhatra, 2–dhvajā, 3–darpaṇ, 4–kalash, 5–chāmar, 6–bhr̥uṅgār (jhārī), 7–tāl (ṭhavaṇā), aur 8–svāstik (sān̐thiyā) arthāt supratachik aise āṭh hote haĩn. chauntīs atishay ke nām kahe.

āṭh prātihārya hote hain unake nām ye hain – 1–ashok vr̥ukṣha, 2–puṣhpavr̥uṣhṭi, 3–divyadhvani, 4–chāmar, 5–sinhāsan, 6–bhāmaṇḍal, 7–dundubhi vāditra aur 8–chhatra aise āṭh hote haĩn. isaprakār guṇasthān dvārā arahant kā sthāpan kahā.. 32.. ab āge mārgaṇā dvārā kahate hainḥ–––

gai indiyan cha kāe joe vee kasāy ṇāṇe ya.
sañjam dansaṇ lesā bhaviyā sammatta saṇṇi āhāre.. 33..
gatau indriye cha kāye yoge vede kaṣhāye gnāne cha.
sanyame darshane leshyāyān bhavyatve samyaktve sañgnini āhāre.. 33..

arthaḥ
––gati, indriy, kāy, yog, ved, kaṣhāy, gnān, sanyam, darshan, leshyā, bhavyatva,
samyaktva, sañgnī aur āhār isaprakār chaudah mārgaṇā hotī hai.

124] [aṣhṭapāhuḍ arahant sayogakevalī ko terahavān̐ guṇasthān hai, isamen ‘mārgaṇā’ lagāte haĩn. gati– chār men manuṣhyagati hai, indriyajāti– pān̐ch men pan̐chendriy jāti hai, kāy– chhahamen trasakāy hai, yog– pandrah men yog–manoyog to satya aur anubhay isaprakār do aur ye hī vachan yog do tathā kāyayog audārik isaprakār pān̐ch yog hain, jab samudghāt kare tab audārikamishra aur kārmāṇ ye do milakar sāt yog hain; ved– tīnon kā hī abhāv hai; kaṣhāy– pachchīs sabahī kā abhāv hai; gnān– āṭh men kevalagnān hai; sanyam– sāt men ek yathākhyāt hai; darshan– chāramen ek kevaladarshan hai; leshyā– chhah men ek shukla jo yog nimitta hai; bhavya– do men ek bhavya hai; samyaktva– chhah men ek kṣhāyik samyaktva hai; sañgnī– do men sañgnī hai, vah dravya se hai aur bhāv se kṣhayopashanarūp bhāv man kā abhāv hai; āhārak anāhārak– do men ‘āhārak’ hain vah bhī nokarmavargaṇā apekṣhā hai kintu kavalāhār nahīn hai aur samudghāt kare to ‘anāhārak’ bhī hai, isaprakār donon haĩn. isaprakār mārgaṇā apekṣhā arahant kā sthāpan jānanā ..33.. āge paryāpti dvārā kahate hainḥ–––

āhāro ya sarīro indiyamaṇ āṇapāṇabhāsā ya.
pajjattiguṇasamiddho uttamadevo havai araho.. 34..
āhāraḥ cha sharīran indriyamanaānaprāṇabhāṣhāḥ cha.
paryāpti guṇasamr̥uddhaḥ uttamadevaḥ bhavati arhan.. 34..

arthaḥ––āhār, sharīr, indriy, man, ānaprāṇ arthāt shvāsochchhvās aur bhāṣhā––
isaprakār chhah paryāpti hain, is paryāpti guṇ dvārā samr̥uddha arthāt yukta uttam dev arahant haĩn.
bhāvārthaḥ––paryāpti kā svarūp iprakār hai–––––jo jīv ek anya paryāy ko chhoṛakar
anya paryāy men jāve tab vigrah gati men tīn samay utkr̥uṣhṭa bīch men rahe, pīchhe sainī pañchendriy men
utpanna ho. vahān̐ tīn jāti kī vargaṇā kā grahaṇ kare – āhāravargaṇā, bhāṣhāvargaṇā, manovargaṇā,
isaprakār grahaṇ karake ‘āhār’ jāti kī vargaṇā se to āhār, sharīr, indriy, shvāsochchhvās
isaprakār chār paryāpti antarmuhūrta kālamen pūrṇa

āhār, kāyā, indri, shvāsochchhvās, bhāṣhā, man taṇī,

bodhapāhuḍ][125 kare, tatpashchāt bhāṣhājāti manojātikī vargaṇā se antarmuhūrta meh hī bhāṣhā, manaḥparyāpti pūrṇa kare, isaprakār chhahon paryāpti antarmuhūrta men pūrṇa karatā hai, tatpashchāt āyuparyanta paryāpta hī kahalātā hai aur nokarmavargaṇā kā grahaṇ karatā hī rahatā hai. yahān̐ āhār nām kavalāhār nahīn jānanā. isaprakār terahaven guṇasthān men bhī arahantake paryāpta pūrṇa hī hai, isaprakār paryāpti dvārā arahant kī sthāpanā hai.. 34.. āge prāṇ dvārā kahate hainḥ–––

pañch vi indiyapāṇā maṇavayakāeṇ tiṇṇi balapāṇā.
āṇappāṇappāṇā āugapāṇeṇ honti dah pāṇā.. 35..
pañchāpi indriyaprāṇāḥ manovachanakāyaiḥ trayo balaprāṇāḥ.

arthaḥ
––pān̐ch indriyaprāṇ, man–vachan–kāy tīn balaprāṇ, ek shvāsochchhvās prāṇ aur
ek āyuprāṇ ye das prāṇ haĩn.

bhāvārthaḥ––isaprakār das prāṇ kahen unamen terahaven guṇasthān men bhāvaindriy aur bhāvaman
kā kṣhayopashamabhāvarūp pravr̥utti nahīn hai is apekṣhā se kāyabal, vachanabal, shvāsochchhvās, āyu ye
chār prāṇ hain aur dravya apekṣhā dason hī haĩn. isaprakār prāṇ dvārā arahant kā sthāpan hai.. 35..

āge jīvasthān dvārā kahate hainḥ––
maṇuyabhave pañchindiy jīvaṭṭhāṇesu hoi chaudasame.
ede guṇagaṇajutto guṇamāruḍho havai araho.. 36..

manujabhave pañchendriyaḥ jīvasthāneṣhu bhavati chaturdashe.
etadguṇagaṇayuktaḥ guṇamārūḍho bhavati arhan.. 36..

arthaḥ
––manuṣhyabhav men pañchendriy nām ke chaudahaven jīvasthān arthāt jīv samās, usamen
itane guṇoṅke samūhase yukta terahaven guṇasthān ko prāpta arahant hote haĩn.

bhāvārthaḥ––jīvasamās chaudah kahen hain–––ekendriy sūkṣhma bādar 2, doindriy, teindriy,
chauindriy aise vikalatray –3, pañchendriy asainī sainī 2, aise sāt hue; ye paryāpta aparyāpta ke
bhed se chaudah hue. inamen chaudahavān̐ ‘sainī pañchendriy jīvasthān’ arahant ke hai. gāthā men sainī kā
nām na liyā aur manuṣhya kā nām liyā so manuṣhya sainī hī hote hain, asainī nahīn hote hain
isaliye manuṣhya kahane men ‘sainī’ hī jānanā chāhiye ..36..
isaprakār jīvasthān dvārā ‘sthāpanā arahant’ kā varṇan kiyā.

āge dravya kī pradhānatā se arahantakā nirūpaṇ karate hainḥ––
jaravāhidukkharahiyan āhāraṇihāravajjiyan vimalan.
sinhāṇ khel seo ṇatthi duguñchhā ya doso ya.. 37..
das pāṇā pajjatī aṭṭhasahassā ya lakkhaṇā bhaṇiyā.
gokhīrasaṅkhadhavalan mansan rūhiran cha savvaṅge.. 38..
erisaguṇehin savvan aisayavantan suparimalāmoyan.
orāliyan cha kāyan ṇāyavvan arahapurisassa.. 39..

īdrashaguṇaiḥ sarvaḥ atishayavān suparimalāmodaḥ.
audārikashcha kāyaḥ arhatpuruṣhasya gnātavyaḥ.. 39..

arthaḥ
––arahant puruṣh ke audārik kāy isaprakār hotā hai–––jo jarā, vyādhi aur
rog in sambandhī duḥkh usamen nahīn hai, āhār–nīhār se rahit hai, vimal arthāt malamūtra rahit
hai; sinhāṇ arthāt shleṣhma, khel arthāt thūk, pasev aur durgandh arthāt jugupsā, glāni aur
durgandhādi doṣh usamen nahīn hai.. 37..

das to usamen prāṇ hain ve dravyaprāṇ hain, pūrṇa paryāpti hai, ek hajār āṭh lakṣhaṇ hain aur
gokṣhīr arthāt kapūr athavā chandan tathā shaṅkh jaisā usamen sarvāṅg dhaval rudhir aur māns hai ..

isaprakār guṇonse sanyukta sarva hī deh atishayasahit nirmal hai, āmod arthāt sugandh
jisamen isaprakār audārik deh arahant puruṣh ke hai.. 39..

bhāvārthaḥ––yahān̐ dravya nikṣhep nahīn samajhanā. ātmāse bhinna hī dehakī pradhānatā se ‘dravya
arahantakā’ varṇan hai.. 37 – 38– 39..

isaprakār dravya arahantakā varṇan kiyā. āge bhāv kī pradhānatā se varṇan karate hainḥ–––

mayarāyadosarahio kasāyamalavajjio va suvisuddho.
chittapariṇāmarahido kevalabhāve muṇeyavvo.. 40..
madarāgadoṣharahitaḥ kaṣhāyamalavarjitaḥ cha suvishuddhaḥ.
chittapariṇāmarahitaḥ kevalabhāve gnātavyāḥ.. 40..

arthaḥ––kevalabhāv arthāt kevalagnānarūp hī ek bhāv hote hue arahant hote hain aisā jānanā. mad arthāt mānakaṣhāy se huā garva, rāg–dveṣh arthāt kaṣhāyoṅke tīvra uday se hone vāle prīti aur aprītirūp pariṇām inase rahit hain, pachchīs kaṣhāyarūp mal usakā dravya karma tathā unake uday se huā bhāvamal usase rahit hain, isīliye atyanta vishuddha hain––nirmal hain, chitta pariṇām arthāt man ke pariṇāmarūp vikalpa rahit hain, gnānāvaraṇakarmake kṣhayopashamarūp man kā vikalpa nahīn hai, isaprakār keval ek gnānarūp vītarāgasvarūp ‘bhāv arahant’ jānanā.. 40.. āge bhāv hī kā visheṣh kahate hainḥ–––

sammaddansaṇi passadi jāṇadi ṇāṇeṇ davvapajjāyā.
sammattaguṇavisuddho bhāvo arahassa ṇāyavvo.. 41..
samyagdarshanen pashyati jānāti gnānen dravyaparyāyān.
samyaktvaguṇavishuddhaḥ bhāvaḥ arhataḥ gnātavyaḥ.. 41..

arthaḥ
––‘bhāv arahant’ samyagdarshanase to apane ko tathā sabako sattāmātra dekhate hain
isaprakār jinako kevaladarshan hai, gnān se sab dravya–paryāyon ko jānate hain isaprakār jinako
kevalagnān hai, jinako samyaktva guṇ se vishuddha kṣhāyik samyaktva pāyā jātā hai,––isaprakār
arahant kā bhāv jānanā.

bhāvārthaḥ––arahantapanā ghātīkarmake nāsh se hotā hai. mohakarma nāsh se samyaktva aur
kaṣhāy ke abhāv se param vītarāgatā sarvaprakār nirmalatā hotī hai. gnānāvaraṇ, darshanāvaraṇ karma
ke nāsh se anantadarshan–anantagnān prakaṭ hotā hai, inase sab dravya–paryāyoṅko ek samayamen
pratyakṣha dekhate hain aur jānate haĩn. dravya chhah hain––unamen jīv dravya kī saṅkhyā anantānant hai,
pudgaladravya usase anantānant guṇe hain, ākāshadravya ek hai vah anantānant pradeshī hai isake madhyamen
sab jīv – pudgal asaṅkhyāt pradesh men sthit hain, ek dharmadravya, ek adharmadravya ye donon
asaṅkhyātapradeshī hain inase lok–ālok kā vibhāg hai, usī lokamen hī kāladravya ke asaṅkhyāt
kālāṇu sthit haĩn. in sab dravyoṅke pariṇāmarūp paryāy hain ve ek–ek dravyake anantānant hain,
unako kāladravyakā pariṇām nimitta hai, usake nimitta se kramarūp hotā samayādik
‘vyavahārakāl’ kahalātā hai. isakī gaṇanā atīt, anāgat, vartamān dravyoṅkī paryāyen anantānant
hain, in sab dravya–paryāyoṅko arahantakā darshan–gnān ekasamayamen dekhatā jānatā hai,

bodhapāhuḍ][129 isaliye arahant ko sarvadarshī–sarvagna kahate haĩn. bhāvārthaḥ––isaprakār arahantakā nirūpaṇ chaudah gāthāommen kiyā. pratham gāthāmen nām, sthāpanā, dravya, bhāv, guṇ, paryāy sahit chvyan, āgati, sampatti ye bhāv arahant ko batalāte haĩn. isakā vyākhyān nāmādi kathanamen sarva hī ā gayā, usakā saṅkṣhep bhāvārtha likhate hainḥ–– garbha–kalayāṇakaḥ––––pratham garbhakalayāṇak hotā hai; garbhamen āneke chhah mahīne pahile indrakā bhejā huā kuber jis rājākī rāṇī ke garbha men tīrthaṅkar āyeṅge usake nagarakī shobhā karatā hai, ratnamayī suvarṇamayī mandir banātā hai, nagar ke koṭ, khāī, daravāje, sundar van, upavan kī rachanā karatā hai, sundar bheṣhavāle nar–nārī nagar men basātā hai, nitya rājamandir par ratnon kī varṣhā hotī rahatī hai, tīrthaṅkar kā jīv jab mātā ke garbha men ātā hai tab mātāko solah svapna āte hain, ruchakavaradvīpamen rahanevālī devāṅganāyen mātā kī nitya sevā karatī hain, aise nau mahīne pūre hone par prabhukā tīn gnān aur das atishay sahit janma hotā hai, tab tīn lok men ānandamay kṣhobh hotā hai, dev ke binā bajāye bāje bajate hain, indrakā āsan kampāyamān hotā hai, tab indra prabhu kā janma huā jān kar svagar se airāvat hāthī par charḥ kar ātā hai, sarva chār prakār ke dev–devī ekatra hokar āte hai, shachī (indrāṇī) mātā ke pās jākar guptarūpase prabhuko le ātī hai, indra harṣhit hokar hajār netronse dekhatā hai. phir saudharma indra, bālak sharīrī bhagavān ko apanī godamen lekar airāvat hāthī par charḥakar meruparvat par jātā hai, ishān indra chhatra dhāraṇ karatā hai, sanatkumār, mahendra indra cham̐var ḍhorate hain, meruke pān̐ḍuk van kī pān̐ḍukashilā par sinhāsan ke ūpar prabhuko virājamān karate hain, sab dev kṣhīr samudra se ek hajār āṭh kalashommen jal lākar dev–devāṅganā gīt nr̥itya vāditra baḍẹ utsāh sahit prabhuke mastakapar kalash ḍhārakar janmakalyāṇakakā abhiṣhek karate hain, pīchhe shrr̥uṅgār, vastra, ābhūṣhaṇ pahinākar mātā ke pās mandiramen lākar mātā ke saump dete hain, indrādik dev apane–apane sthān chale jāte hain, kuber sevā ke liye rahatā hai.

tadanantar kumār – avasthā tathā rājya –avasthā bhog bhogakar phir vairāgay kāraṇ pākar sansār –deh– bhogoṅke virakta ho jāte haĩn. tab laukāntik dev ākar, vairāgya ko barḥāne vālī prabhu kī stuti karate hain, phir indra ākar ‘tap kalyāṇak’ karatā hai. pālakī main baiṭhākar baṛe utsav se van men le jātā hai, vahān̐ prabhu pavitra shilā par baiṭh kar pañchamuṣhṭi se lochakar pañch mahāvrat aṅgīkār karate hain, samasta parigrah kā tyāg kar digambararūp dhāraṇ kar dhyān karate haiai,

130] [aṣhṭapāhuḍ usī samay manaḥparyay gnān utpanna ho jātā hai. phir kuchh samay vyatīt hone par tapake balase ghātikarma kī prakr̥iti 47 tathā aghāti karmaprakr̥iti 16–––isaprakār tresaṭh prakr̥iti kā sattāmen se nāsh kar kevalagnān utpanna kar anantachatuṣhṭayarūp hokar kṣhudhādik doṣhonse rahit arahant hote haĩn. phir indra ākar samavasaraṇakī rachanā karatā hai so āgamokta anek shobhā sahit maṇi–suvarṇamayī koṭ, khāī, vedī chāron dishāommen chār daravāje, mānastambh, nāṭyashālā, van ādi anek rachanā karatā hai. usake bīch sabhāmaṇḍapamen bārah sabhāen̐ unamen muni, āryikā, shrāvak, shrāvikā, dev, devī, tiryañch baiṭhate haĩn. prabhuke anek atishay prakaṭ hote haĩn. sabhāmaṇḍapake bīch tīn pīṭhapar gandhakuṭīke bīch sinhāsan par kamalake ūpar antarīkṣha prabhu birājate hain aur āṭh prātihārya yukta hote haĩn. vāṇī khiratī hai, usako sunakar gaṇadhar dvādashāṅg shāstra rachate haĩn. aise kevalakalyāṇakā utsav indra karatā hai. phir prabhu vihār karate haĩn. usakā baṛā utsav dev karate haĩn. kuchh samay bād āyu ke din thoṛe rahane par yoganirodh kar adhātikarmakā nāshakar mukti padhārate hain, tatpashchāt sharīrakā agni–sanskār kar indra utsavasahit ‘nirvāṇ kalyāṇak’ mahotsav karatā hai. isaprakār tīrthaṅkar pañch kalyāṇakakī pūjā prāpta kar, arahant hokar nirvāṇako prāpta hote hain aisā jānanā.. 41.. āge (11)pravajyā nirūpaṇ karate hain, usako dīkṣhā kahate haĩn. pratham dīkṣhā hī ke yogya sthān visheṣh ko tathā dīkṣhāsahit muni jahān̐ tiṣhṭhate hain, usakā svarūp kahate hainḥ––

suṇṇahare taruhiṭṭhe ujjāṇe tah masāṇavāse vā.
giriguh girisihare vā bhīmavaṇe ahav vasite vā.. 42..
1savasāsattan titthan 2vachachaidālattayan cha vuttehĩn.
jiṇabhavaṇan ah vejjhan jiṇamagge jiṇavarā vinti.. 43..

pañchamahavvayajuttā pañchindiyasañjayā ṇirāvekkhā.
sajjhāyajhāṇajuttā muṇivaravasahā ṇiichchhanti.. 44..

arthaḥ
––sūnā ghar, vr̥ukṣhakā mūl, koṭar, udyān van, shmashānabhūmi, parvatakī guphā,
parvatakā shikhar, bhayānak van aur vastikā inamen dīkṣhāsahit muni ṭhaharẽn. ye dīkṣhāyogya sthān
haĩn.

svavashāsakta arthāt svādhīn muniyonse āsakta jo kṣhetra un kṣhetrommen muni ṭhahare. tathā
jahān̐ se mokṣha padhāren isaprakār ke tīrthasthān aur vach, chaitya, ālay isaprakār trik jo pahile
kahā gayā hai arthāt āyatan ādik; paramārtharūp sanyamī muni, arahant, siddha svarūp unake
nāmake akṣhararūp mantra tathā unakī āgnārūp vāṇīko ‘vach’ kahate hain tathā unake ākār dhātu
– pāṣhāṇ kī pratimā sthāpanako ‘chaitya’ kahate hain aur jab pratimā tathā akṣhar mantra vāṇī jisamen
sathāpit kiye jāte hain isaprakār ‘ālay’ – mandir, yantra yā pustakarūp aisā vach, chaitya tathā
ālayakā trik hai athavā jinabhavan arthāt akr̥utrim chaityālay mandir isaprakār āyatanādik
unake samān hī unakā vyavahār, use jinamārga men jinavar dev ‘bedhya’ arthāt dīkṣhāsahit
muniyoṅke dhyān karane yogya, chintan karane yogya kahate haĩn.

jo munivr̥uṣhabh arthāt muniyommen pradhān hain unake kahe hue shūnyagr̥uhādik tathā tīrtha, nām mantra, sthāpanarūp mūrti aur unakā ālay – mandir, pustak aur akr̥utrim jinamandir unako ‘ṇiichchhati’ arthāt nishchayase iṣhṭa karate haĩn. sūne ghar ādi men rahate hain aur tīrtha ādi kā dhyān chintavan karate hain tathā dūsaroṅko vahān̐ dīkṣhā dete haĩn. yahān̐ ‘ṇiichchhati’ pāṭhāntar ‘ṇiichchhanti’ isaprakār bhī hai usakā kālokti dvārā to isaprakār artha hotā hai ki ‘jo kyā iṣhṭa nahīn karate hain? arthāt karate hī haĩn.’ ek ṭippaṇī men aisā artha kiyā hai ki––aise shūnyagr̥uhādik tathā tīrthādikako svavashāsakta arthāt svechchhāchārī bhraṣhṭāchāriyon dvārā āsakta ho (yukta ho) to ve munipradhān iṣhṭa na karen, vahān̐ na rahẽn. kaise hain ve muni pradhān? pān̐ch mahāvrat sanyukta hain, pān̐ch indriyoṅko bhale prakār jītane vāle hain, nirapekṣha hain – kisī prakārakī vāñchchhāse muni nahīn hue hain, svādhyāy aur dhyānayukta hain, kaī to shāstra parḥate– parḥāte hain, kaī dharma – shukladhyān karate haĩn. bhāvārthaḥ––yahān̐ dīkṣhā yogya sthān tathā dīkṣhāsahit dīkṣhā denevāle munikā tathā unake chintanayogya vyavahār svarūp kahā hai .. 42 – 43 – 44.. [11] āge pravajyākā svarūp kahate hainḥ––

gihaganthamohamukkā bāvīsaparīsahā jiyakaṣhāyā.
pāvārambhavimukkā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 45..
gr̥uhagranthamohamuktā dvavinshatiparīṣhahā jitakaṣhāyā.
pāpārambhavimuktā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 45..

arthaḥ
––gr̥uh
(ghar) aur granth (parigrah) in dononse muni mamatva, iṣhṭa –aniṣhṭa buddhise
rahit hī hai, jisamen bāīs parīṣhahoṅkā sahanā hotā hai, kaṣhāyoṅko jītate hain aur pāparūp ārambh
se rahit hain–––isaprakār pravajyā jineshvaradevane kahī hai.

dhaṇadhaṇṇavatthadāṇan hiraṇṇasayaṇāsaṇāi chhattāin.
kuddāṇaviraharahiyā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 46..
dhanadhānyavastradānan hiraṇyashayanāsanādi chhatrādi.
kudānaviraharahitā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 46..

arthaḥ
––dhan, dhānya, vastra inakā dān, hiraṇya arthāt rūpā, sonā ādik, shayyā,
āsan ādi shabdase chhatra, chāmarādik aur kṣhetra ādi kudānonse rahit pravajyā kahī hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––anyamatī bahut se isaprakār pravajyā kahate hainḥ––––gau, dhan, dhānya, vastra,
sonā, rūpā (chān̐dī), shayan, āsan, chhatra, cham̐var aur bhūmi ādi kā dān karanā pravajyā hai.
isakā is gāthā men niṣhedh kiyā hai–––pravajyā to nirganrath svarūp hai, jo dhan, dhānya ādi
rakh kar dān kare usake kāhe kī pravajyā? yah to gr̥uhasthakā karma hai, gr̥uhasthake bhī in
vastuoṅke dān se visheṣh puṇya to hotā nahīn hai, kyoṅki pāp bahut hai aur puṇya alpa hai, vah
bahut pāpakārya gr̥uhasthako karane men lābh nahīn hai. jisamen bahut lābh ho vahī kām karanā yogya
hai. dīkṣhā to in vastuon se rahit hai.. 46..

āge phir kahate hainḥ––

sattūmitte ya samā pasansaṇindā aladdhiladdhisamā.
taṇakaṇae samabhāvā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 47..
shatrau mitre cha samā prashansānindā‘labdhilabdhisamā.
tr̥uṇe kanake samabhāvā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 47..

arthaḥ
––jisamen shatru–mitra men samabhāv hai, prashansā–nindāmen, lābh–alābhamen aur tr̥uṇ–
kañchan men samabhāv hai. isaprakār pravajyā kahī hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––jainadīkṣhā men rāg–dveṣhakā abhāv hai. shatru–mitra, nindā–prashansā, lābh–alābh
aur tr̥uṇ–kañchan men samabhāv hai. jain muniyon kī dīkṣhā isaprakār hī hotī hai.. 47..
āge phir kahate hainḥ––
uttamamajjhimagehe dāridde īsare ṇirāvekkhā.
savvattha gihidapiṇḍā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 48..
uttamamadhyamagehe daridre īshvare nirapekṣhā.
sarvatra gr̥uhitapiṇḍā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 48..

arthaḥ
––uttam geh arthāt shobhā sahit rājabhavanādi aur madhyageh arthāt jisamen apekṣhā
nahīn hai. shobhārahit sāmānya logoṅkā ghar inamen tathā dāridra–dhanavān inamen nirapekṣha arthāt
ichchhārahit hain, sab hī yogya jagah par āhār grahaṇ kiyā jātā hai. isaprakār pravajyā kahī
hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––muni dīkṣhā sahit hote hain aur āhār lene ko jāte hain tab isaprakār vichār
nahīn karate hain ki baṛe ghar jānā athavā chhoṭe ghar vā dāridrī ke ghar yā dhanavān ke ghar jānā,
isaprakār vāñchhārahit nirdoṣh āhārakī yogyatā ho vahān̐ sab hī jagahase yogya āhār le lete
hain, isaprakār dīkṣhā hai.. 48..

nindā–prashansā, shatru–mitra, alabdhine labdhi viṣhe,

sarvatra piṇḍ grahāy chhe, –dīkṣhā kahī āvī jine. 48.

āge phir kahate hainḥ––
ṇigganthā ṇissaṅgā ṇimmāṇāsā arāy ṇiddosā.
ṇimmam ṇirahaṅkārā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 49..

nirgranthā niḥsaṅgā nirmānāshā arāgā nirdveṣhā. nirmamā nirahaṅkārā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 49..

arthaḥ––kaisī hai pravajyā? nirgranthaavarūp hai, parigrah se rahit hai, niḥsaṅg arthāt jisamen strī paradravyakā saṅg–milāp nahīn hai, jisamen nirmānā arthāt mān kaṣhāy bhī nahīn nahīn hai, madarahit hai, jisamen āshā nahīn hai, sansārabhog kī āshārahit hai, jisamen arāg arthāt rāg kā abhāv hai, sansār–deh–bhogon se prīti nahīn hai, nirdeṣhā arthāt kisī se dveṣh nahīn hai, nirmamā arthāt kisī se mamatva bhāv nahīn hai, nirahaṅkārā arthāt ahaṅkār rahit hai, jo kuchh karmakā uday hotā hai vahī hotā hai–––isaprakār jānane se paradravyamen kartr̥utvakā ahaṅkār nahīn rahatā hai aur apane svarūpakā hī usamen sādhan hai, isaprakār pravajyā kahī hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––anyamatī bheṣh pahinakar usī mātrako dīkṣhā mānate hain vah dīkṣhā nahīn hai, jain dīkṣhā isaprakār kahī hai.. 49..


āge phir kahate hainḥ––
ṇiṇṇehā ṇillohā ṇimmohā ṇivviyār ṇikkalusā.
ṇibbhay ṇirāsabhāvā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 50..

nirgranth ne niḥsaṅg, nirmānāsh, nirahaṅkār chhe,
nirmam, arāg, adveṣh chhe, –dīkṣhā kahī āvī jine. 49.

niḥ sneh, nirbhay, nirvikār, akaluṣh ne nirmoh chhe,
āshārahit, nirlobh chhe, –dīkṣhā kahī āvī jine. 50.

niḥsnehā nirlobhā nirmohā nirvikārā niḥkaluṣhā.
nirbhayā nirāshabhāvā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 50..

arthaḥ
––pravajyā kaisī hai––niḥsnehā arthāt jisamen kisīse sneh nahīn, jisamen paradravyase
rāgādirūp sachchikkaṇabhāv nahīn hai, jisamen nirlobhā arthāt kuchh paradravya ke lene kī vāñchhā nahīn
hai, jisamen nirmohā arthāt kisī paradravya se moh nahīn hai, bhūlakar bhī paradravya men ātmabuddhi nahīn
hotī hai, nirvikārā arthāt bāhya–abhyantar vikār se rahit hai, jisamen bāhya sharīr kī cheṣhṭā
tathā vastrābhūṣhaṇādikakā aṅg–upāṅg vikār nahīn hai, jisamen antaraṅg kām – krodhādikakā
vikār nahīn hai. niḥkaluṣhā arthāt malin bhāv rahit haĩn. ātmā ko kaṣhāy malin karate hain ataḥ
kaṣhāy jisamen nahīn hai. nirbhayā arthāt jisamen kisī prakār kā bhay nahīn hai, apane svarūpako
avināshī jāne usako kisī kā bhay ho, jisamen nirāshabhāvā arthāt kisī prakār ke paradravya
kī āshā kā bhāv nahīn hai, āshā to kisī vastu kī prāpti na ho usakī lagī rahatī hai parantu
jahān̐ paradravya ko apanā jānā hī nahīn aur apane svarūp kī prāpti ho gaī tab kuchh prāpta
karanā sheṣh na rahā, phir kisakī āshā ho? pravajyā isaprakār kahī hai.

bhāvārthaḥ––jain dīkṣhā aisī hai. anyamat men sva–par dravyakā bhedavignān nahīn hai, unake
isaprakār dīkṣhā kahān̐ se ho.. 50..

āge dīkṣhā kā bāhya svarūp kahate hainḥ–––
jahajāyarūvasarisā avalambiyabhuy ṇirāuhā santā.
parakiyaṇilayaṇivāsā pavvajjā erisā bhaṇiyā.. 51..
yathājātarūpasadrashī avalambitabhujā nirāyudhā shāntā.
parakr̥utanilayanivāsā pravrajyā īdrashī bhaṇitā.. 51..

arthaḥ
–– kaisī hai pravajyā? yathājātarūpasadr̥ushī arthāt jaisā janma hote hī bālakakā
nagnarūp hotā hai vaisā hī nagna usamen hai. avalambitābhujā arthāt jisamen bhujā lambāyamān kī hai,
jisamen bāhulya apekṣhā kāyotsarga rahanā hotā hai, nirāyudh arthāt āyudhonse rahit hai, shāntā
arthāt jisamen aṅg–upāṅg ke vikār rahit shāntamudrā hotī

janmyā pramāṇe rūp, lambitabhuj, nirāyudh, shānt chhe,
parakr̥ut nilayamān vās chhe, –dīkṣhā kahī āvī jine. 51.
