iṣhṭa-aniṣhṭa mānakar rāg-dveṣh nahīn karate, hinsādirūp
ashubhopayogakā to astitva hī jinake nahīn rahā hai–aisī antaraṅg-
dashā sahit bāhya digambar saumya mudrādhārī hue hain aur chhaṭhaven pramatta-
sanyat guṇasthānake samay aṭṭhāīs mūlaguṇoṅkā akhaṇḍarūpase pālan
karate hain ve, tathā jo anantānubandhī evan apratyākhyānāvaraṇī aisī do
kaṣhāyake abhāvasahit samyagdr̥uṣhṭi shrāvak hain ve madhyam antarātmā hain,
arthāt chhaṭhaven aur pān̐chaven guṇasthānavartī jīv madhyam antarātmā haĩn.
(2) samyagdarshanake binā kabhī dharmakā prārambha nahīn hotā;
jise nishchayasamyagdarshan nahīn hai, vah jīv bahirātmā hai .

(2) mithyātva aur krodhādirūp bhāv–in sabako sāmānya-
rūpase kaṣhāy kahā jātā hai (mokṣhamārgaprakāshak, dehalī–pr̥uṣhṭha 40)
aise kaṣhāyake abhāvako sham kahate hain aur dam arthāt jo gney-
gnāyak, saṅkar doṣh ṭālakar, indriyoṅko jītakar, gnānasvabhāv dvārā
anya dravyase adhik (pr̥uthak paripūrṇa) ātmāko jānatā hai, use
nishchayanayamen sthit sādhu vāstavamen–jitendriy kahate hain . (samayasār

svabhāv-parabhāvake bhedagnān dvārā dravyendriy, bhāvendriy tathā
unake viṣhayonse ātmākā svarūp bhinna hai–aisā jānanā use
indriy-daman kahate hain; parantu āhārādi tathā pān̐ch indriyoṅke
viṣhayarūp bāhya vastuoṅke tyāgarūp jo mandakaṣhāy hai, usase
vāstavamen indriy-daman nahīn hotā; kyoṅki vah to shubharāg hai, puṇya
hai, isaliye bandhakā hī kāraṇ hai–aisā samajhanā .

ālambanānusār samvar-nirjarā prārambha hotī hai . kramashaḥ jitane
anshamen rāgakā abhāv ho, utane anshamen samvar-nirjarārūp dharma hotā
hai . svonmukhatāke balase shubhāshubh ichchhākā nirodh so tap hai . us
tapase nirjarā hotī hai .
(4) samvar :–puṇya-pāparūp ashuddhabhāv (āsrav)ko ātmāke
shuddhabhāv dvārā rokanā so bhāvasamvar hai aur tadanusār navīn
karmoṅkā ānā svayam-svataḥ ruk jāye so dravyasamvar hai .
(5) nirjarā :– akhaṇḍānanda nij shuddhātmāke lakṣhase
anshataḥ shuddhikī vr̥uddhi aur ashuddhikī anshataḥ hāni karanā so
bhāvanirjarā hai aur us samay khirane yogya karmoṅkā anshataḥ chhūṭ
jānā so dravyanirjarā hai .

(6) jīv-ajīvako unake svarūp sahit jānakar sva tathā
parako yathāvat mānanā, āsravako jānakar use heyarūp, bandhako

tathā nirjarāko pahichānakar use hitakā kāraṇ mānanā chāhiye
(mokṣhamārga prakāshak. adhyāy 9, pr̥uṣhṭha 469)

āne lagatā hai; usī prakār mithyātvādi āsravake dvārā ātmāmen
karma āne lagate hain

(2) bandh– jis prakār chhidra dvārā pānī naukāmen bhar jātā hai; usīprakār
karmaparamāṇu ātmāke pradeshommen pahun̐chate hain (ek kṣhetramen rahate hain) .

mokṣhakā lakṣhaṇ, vyavahārasamyaktvakā lakṣhaṇ tathā kāraṇ

anvayārtha :(sakal karmatain) samasta karmonse (rahit)
rahit (thir) sthir-aṭal (sukhakārī) ananta sukhadāyak
(avasthā) dashā-paryāy so (shiv) mokṣha kahalātā hai . (ihi vidh)
(3) samvar–jis prakār chhidra band karanese naukāmen pānīkā ānā ruk
jātā hai; usī prakār shuddhabhāvarūp gupti ādike dvārā ātmā men
karmoṅkā ānā ruk jātā hai

(4) nirjarā–jis prakār naukāmen āye hue pānīmense thoṛā (kisī
baratanamen bharakar) bāhar phen ka diyā jātā hai; usī prakār nirjarā dvārā
thoṛe-se karma ātmāse alag ho jāte hain
.
(5) mokṣha– jis prakār naukāmen āyā huā sārā pānī nikāl denese
naukā ekadam pānī rahit ho jātī hai; usī prakār ātmāmense samasta
karma pr̥uthak ho jānese ātmākī paripūrṇa shuddhadashā (mokṣhadashā) pragaṭ
ho jātī hai arthāt ātmā mukta ho jātā hai

shraddhā karanā so (vyavahārī) vyavahār (samakit) samyagdarshan hai .
(jinendra) vītarāg, sarvagna aur hitopadeshī (dev) sachche dev
(parigrah bin) chaubīs parigrahase rahit (guru) vītarāg guru [tathā ]
(sāro) sārabhūt (dayājut) ahinsāmay (dharma) jainadharma (yehu) in
sabako (samakitako) samyagdarshanakā (kāraṇ) nimittakāraṇ (mān)
jānanā chāhiye . samyagdarshanako usake (aṣhṭa) āṭh (aṅgajut) aṅgon
sahit (dhāro) dhāraṇ karanā chāhiye .
bhāvārtha :mokṣhakā svarūp jānakar use apanā paramahit
mānanā chāhiye . āṭh karmoṅke sarvathā nāsh pūrvak ātmākī jo
sampūrṇa shuddhadashā (paryāy) pragaṭ hotī hai, use mokṣha kahate hain . vah
dashā avināshī tathā ananta sukhamay hai– isaprakār sāmānya aur
visheṣharūpase sāt tattvoṅkī achal shraddhā karanā use
vyavahārasamyaktva (samyagdarshan) kahate hain . jinendradev, vītarāgī
(digambar jain) nirgrantha guru, tathā jinendrapraṇīt ahinsāmay dharma bhī
us vyavahār samyagdarshanake kāraṇ hain arthāt in tīnoṅkā yathārtha
shraddhān bhī vyavahār samyagdarshan kahalātā hai . use nimnokta āṭh
aṅgon sahit dhāraṇ karanā chāhiye . vyavahār samyaktvīkā svarūp
pahale, dūsare tathā tīsare chhandake bhāvārthamen samajhāyā hai .

(tajiye) chhoṛen aur (gunanako) guṇoṅko kis prakār (gahiye) grahaṇ

bhāvārtha :āṭh mad, tīn mūrḥatā, chhah anāyatan (adharma
sthān) aur āṭh shaṅkādi doṣh; –is prakār samyaktvake pachchīs
doṣh hain . samveg, anukampā, āstikya aur prasham samyagdr̥uṣhṭiko hote
hain . samyaktvake abhilāṣhī jīvako samyaktvake in pachchīs doṣhoṅkā
tyāg karake un bhāvanāommen man lagānā chāhiye . ab samyaktvake
āṭh guṇon (aṅgon) aur pachchīs doṣhoṅkā saṅkṣhepamen varṇan kiyā jātā
hai; kyoṅki jāne aur samajhe binā doṣhoṅko kaise chhoṛā jā sakatā
hai tathā guṇoṅko kaise grahaṇ kiyā jā sakatā hai ?

bhāvārtha :1. tattva yahī hai, aisā hī hai, anya nahīn hai
tathā anya prakārase nahīn hai–is prakār yathārtha tattvommen achal shraddhā
honā so niḥshaṅkit aṅg kahalātā hai .
ṭippaṇī :–avratī samyagdr̥uṣhṭi jīv bhogoṅko kabhī bhī
ādaraṇīy nahīn mānate; kintu jis prakār koī bandī kārāgr̥uhamen
(ichchhā na hone par bhī) duḥkh sahan karatā hai; usīprakār ve apane
puruṣhārthakī nirbalatāse gr̥uhasthadashāmen rahate hain; kintu ruchipūrvak
bhogoṅkī ichchhā nahīn karate; isaliye unhen niḥshaṅkit aur
niḥkāṅkṣhit aṅg honemen koī bādhā nahīn ātī .
2. dharma sevan karake usake badalemen sānsārik sukhoṅkī ichchhā
na karanā use niḥkāṅkṣhit aṅg kahate hain .
3. munirāj athavā anya kisī dharmātmāke sharīrako mailā
dekhakar ghr̥uṇā na karanā use nirvichikitsā aṅg kahate hain .
4. sachche aur jhūṭhe tattvoṅkī parīkṣhā karake mūrḥatāon tathā

anāyatanommen na phan̐sanā vah amūrḥadr̥uṣhṭi aṅg hai .
5. apanī prashansā karānevāle guṇoṅko tathā dūsarekī nindā
karānevāle doṣhoṅko ḍhan̐kanā aur ātmadharmako barḥānā (nirmal
rakhanā) so upagūhan aṅg hai .
ṭippaṇī :– upagūhanakā dūsarā nām ‘‘upabr̥unhaṇ’’ bhī
jināgamamen ātā hai; jisase ātmadharmamen vr̥uddhi karane ko bhī upagūhan
kahā jātā hai . shrī amr̥utachandrasūrine apane puruṣhārthasiddhayupāyake
27ven shlokamen bhī yahī kahā hai–
dharmā‘bhivarddhanīyaḥ sadātmano mārdavādibhāvanayā .
paradoṣhanigūhanamapi vidheyamupabr̥unhaṇaguṇārtham ..27..
6. kām, krodh, lobh ādi kisī bhī kāraṇase (samyaktva aur
chāritrase) bhraṣhṭa hote hue apaneko tathā parako punaḥ usamen
sthir karanā sthitikaraṇ aṅg hai .
7. apane sādharmī jan par bachhaṛese pyār rakhanevālī gāyakī bhān̐ti
nirapekṣha prem rakhanā so vātsalya aṅg hai .
8. agnān-andhakārako dūr karake vidyā-bal-buddhi ādike dvārā
shāstramen kahī huī yogya rītise apane sāmarthyānusār
jainadharmakā prabhāv pragaṭ karanā vah prabhāvanā aṅg hai .
