prashnaḥahīn viparītābhinivesharahit shraddhān karavun kahyun tenun shun prayojan?
uttaraḥabhinivesh nām abhiprāyanun chhe. jevo tattvārthashraddhānano abhiprāy chhe tevo
nahi hotān anyathā abhiprāy hoy tenun nām viparītābhinivesh chhe. tattvārthashraddhān karavāno
abhiprāy kevaḷ teno nishchay karavo eṭalo ja mātra nathī paṇ tyān abhiprāy evo chhe ke
jīv
ajīvane oḷakhī potāne vā parane jem chhe tem mānavā, āsravane oḷakhī tene
hey mānavo, bandhane oḷakhī tene ahit mānavo, samvarane oḷakhī tene upādey
mānavo, nirjarāne oḷakhī tene hitanun kāraṇ mānavun tathā mokṣhane oḷakhī tene
potānun paramahit mānavun.
e pramāṇe tattvārthashraddhānano abhiprāy chhe. tenāthī ulaṭā
abhiprāyanun nām viparītābhinivesh chhe. satya tattvārthashraddhān thatān teno abhāv thāy chhe māṭe
tattvārthashraddhān chhe te viparītābhinivesharahit chhe, em ahīn kahyun chhe.
athavā koīne ābhāsamātra tattvārthashraddhān hoy chhe, parantu abhiprāyamānthī viparītapaṇun
chhūṭatun nathī. koī prakārathī pūrvokta abhiprāyathī anyathā abhiprāy antaraṅgamān hoy to tene
samyagdarshan thāy nahi, jem ke
dravyaliṅgī muni jinavachanathī tattvonī pratīti to kare chhe parantu
sharīrāshrit kriyāomān ahaṅkār vā puṇyāsravamān upādeyapaṇun ādi viparīt abhiprāyathī te
mithyādraṣhṭi ja rahe chhe. māṭe tattvārthashraddhān viparītābhinivesharahit chhe te ja samyagdarshan chhe.
e pramāṇe viparītābhinivesharahit jīvāditattvonun shraddhānapaṇun e ja samyagdarshananun
lakṣhaṇ chhe tathā samyagdarshan lakṣhya chhe.
tattvārthasūtramān paṇ e ja kahyun chhe yathāḥ
‘तत्त्वार्थश्रद्धानं सम्यग्दर्शनम्’ (a. 1. sūtra 2)
arthāt tattvārthonun shraddhān e ja samyagdarshan chhe.
sarvārthasiddhi nāmanī tattvārthasūtranī ṭīkāmān tattvādik padono artha pragaṭ lakhyo chhe vā
‘sāt ja tattva kem kahyān?’ tenun prayojan lakhyun chhe te anusār ahīn kanīk kathan karyun chhe,
em jāṇavun.
vaḷī puruṣhārthasiddhyupāyamān paṇ em ja kahyun chhe, yathā
जीवाजीवादीनां तत्त्वार्थानां सदैव कर्तव्यम्
श्रद्धानं विपरीताभिनिवेशविविक्तमात्मरूपं तत् ।।२२।।

prashnaḥtiryañchādi (pashu ādi) tuchchhagnānī keṭalāk jīvo sāt tattvanān nām
paṇ jāṇī shakatā nathī chhatān temane paṇ samyagdarshananī prāpti shāstramān kahī chhe, māṭe
tattvārthashraddhānapaṇun samyaktvanun lakṣhaṇ tame kahyun temān avyāptidūṣhaṇ lāge chhe?
uttaraḥjīvajīvādikanān nāmādik jāṇo, na jāṇo vā anyathā jāṇo parantu
tenun svarūp yathārtha oḷakhī shraddhān karatān samyaktva thāy chhe.
tyān koī to sāmānyapaṇe svarūp oḷakhī shraddhān kare chhe, koī visheṣhapaṇe svarūp
oḷakhī shraddhān kare chhe, māṭe je tiryañchādi tuchchhagnānī samyagdraṣhṭi chhe te jīvādikanān nām paṇ
jāṇatān nathī topaṇ teo sāmānyapaṇe tenun svarūp oḷakhī shraddhān kare chhe tethī temane
samyaktvanī prāpti hoy chhe.
jem koī tiryañch potānun vā bījāonun nāmādik to na jāṇe parantu potānāmān ja
potāpaṇun māne chhe tathā anyane par māne chhe; tem tuchchhagnānī jīvajīvanān nām na jāṇe
paṇ je gnānādisvarūp ātmā chhe temān to te svapaṇun māne chhe tathā je sharīrādik chhe tene
par māne chhe. evun shraddhān tene hoy chhe e ja jīv
ajīvanun shraddhān chhe, vaḷī jem te ja
tiryañch sukhādinān nāmādik to na jāṇe topaṇ sukhaavasthāne oḷakhī tenā arthe bhāviduḥkhanān
kāraṇone pichhāṇī teno tyāg karavā ichchhe chhe tathā (vartamān) je duḥkhanān kāraṇo banī rahyān
chhe tenā abhāvano upāy kare chhe; tem tuchchhagnānī mokṣhādikanān nām jāṇato nathī topaṇ sarvathā
sukharūp mokṣhaavasthānun shraddhān karī tenā arthe bhāvibandhanā kāraṇ je rāgādi āsrav tenā
tyāgarūp samvarane karavā ichchhe chhe, tathā je sansāraduḥkhanun kāraṇ chhe tenī shuddhabhāv dvārā nirjarā
karavā ichchhe chhe. e rīte āsravādikanun tene shraddhān chhe.
e prakāre tene paṇ sāt tattvonun shraddhān hoy chhe.
jo tene evun shraddhān na hoy to rāgādik chhoḍī shuddhabhāv karavānī ichchhā na thāy.
e ja ahīn kahīe chhīe. jo jīvanī ane ajīvanī jāti na jāṇesvarūpane na oḷakhe
to te paramān rāgādik kem na kare? jo rāgādikane na oḷakhe to teno tyāg karavo te kem
ichchhe? ane te rāgādik ja āsrav chhe, rāgādikanun phaḷ būrun chhe em na jāṇe to te rāgādik

chhoḍavā shā māṭe ichchhe? te rāgādikanun phaḷ te ja bandh chhe tathā rāgādi rahit pariṇāmone
oḷakhe chhe to te rūp thavā ichchhe chhe, te rāgādirahit pariṇāmanun nām ja samvar chhe. vaḷī
pūrva sansāraavasthānā kāraṇanī hānine te oḷakhe chhe tethī tenā arthe tapashcharaṇādi vaḍe shuddhabhāv
karavā ichchhe chhe. te pūrva sansāraavasthānun kāraṇ karma chhe, tenī hāni te ja nirjarā chhe. jo
sansāraavasthānā abhāvane na oḷakhe to te samvar
nirjarārūp shā māṭe pravarte? te sansār-
avasthāno abhāv te ja mokṣha chhe. tethī sāte tattvonun shraddhān thatān ja rāgādik chhoḍī shuddha
bhāv thavānī ichchhā ūpaje chhe. jo emānnā ek paṇ tattvanun shraddhān na hoy to evī ichchhā
na thāy. evī ichchhā tuchchhagnānī tiryañchādi samyagdraṣhṭine hoy chhe ja, tethī tene sāt tattvonun
shraddhān hoy chhe evo nishchay karavo. gnānāvaraṇano kṣhayopasham thoḍo hovāthī tene visheṣhapaṇe
tattvonun gnān na hoy topaṇ darshanamohanā upashamādik sāmānyapaṇe tattvashraddhānanī shakti pragaṭ
hoy chhe. e pramāṇe e lakṣhaṇamān avyāptidūṣhaṇ nathī.
viṣhay kaṣhāyādik vakhate paṇ samyakatvīne tattvashraddhān
prashnaḥje kāḷamān samyagdraṣhṭi viṣhaykaṣhāyonān kāryomān pravarte chhe te kāḷamān
tene sāt tattvono vichār ja nathī, to tyān shraddhān kevī rīte sambhave? ane samyaktva
to tene rahe ja chhe, māṭe e lakṣhaṇamān avyāptidūṣhaṇ āve chhe.
uttaraḥvichār chhe te to upayogane ādhīn chhe. jyān upayog joḍāy teno ja
vichār thāy, paṇ shraddhān chhe te to pratītirūp chhe māṭe anya gneyano vichār thatān vā
shayanādikriyā thatān tattvono vichār nathī topaṇ tenī pratīti to kāyam ja rahe chhe, naṣhṭa thatī
nathī; tethī tene samyaktvano sadbhāv chhe.
jem koī rogī puruṣhane evī pratīti chhe ke‘hun manuṣhya chhun, tiryañchādi nathī, mane
ā kāraṇathī rog thayo chhe, ane have e kāraṇ maṭāḍī rogane ghaṭāḍī nirogī thavun joīe;’
have te ja manuṣhya jyāre anya vichārādirūp pravarte chhe, tyāre tene evo vichār hoto nathī,
parantu shraddhān to em ja rahyā kare chhe; tem ā ātmāne evī pratīti chhe ke
‘hun ātmā
chhunpudgalādi nathī, mane āsravathī bandh thayo chhe paṇ have samvaravaḍe nirjarā karī mokṣharūp
thavun.’ have te ja ātmā anya vichārādirūp pravarte chhe tyāre tene evo vichār hoto nathī,
parantu shraddhān to evun ja rahyā kare chhe.
prashnaḥjo tene evun shraddhān rahe chhe to te bandh thavānān kāraṇomān kem pravarte chhe?
uttaraḥjem te ja manuṣhya koī kāraṇavash rog vadhavānān kāraṇomān paṇ pravarte chhe,
vyāpārādikārya vā krodhādikārya kare chhe, topaṇ te shraddhānano tene nāsh thato nathī, tem te ja
ātmā karmodayanimittavash bandh thavānā kāraṇomān paṇ pravarte chhe, viṣhayasevanādikārya vā krodhādikārya

kare chhe, topaṇ tene e shraddhānano nāsh thato nathī. āno visheṣh nirṇay āgaḷ karīshun.
e pramāṇe sāt tattvono vichār na hovā chhatān paṇ tenāmān shraddhānano sadbhāv chhe
tethī tyān avyāptipaṇun nathī.
nirvikalpadashāmān paṇ tattvashraddhān
prashnaḥuchchadashāmān jyān nirvikalpa ātmānubhav hoy chhe tyān to sāt
tattvādinā vikalpano paṇ niṣhedh karyo chhe. have samyaktvanā lakṣhaṇano niṣhedh karavo kem
sambhave? ane tyān niṣhedh sambhave chhe to tyān avyāptipaṇun āvyun?
uttaraḥnīchenī dashāmān sāt tattvonā vikalpamān upayog lagāvyo tethī pratītine
draḍh karī tathā viṣhayādithī upayogane chhoḍāvī rāgādik ghaṭāḍyā, have e kārya siddha thatān e
ja kāraṇono paṇ niṣhedh karīe chhīe. kāraṇ ke jyān pratīti paṇ draḍh thaī tathā rāgādi
dūr thayā tyān upayogane bhamāvavāno khed shā māṭe karīe? māṭe tyān e vikalpono niṣhedh
karyo chhe. vaḷī samyaktvanun lakṣhaṇ to pratīti ja chhe, e pratītino to tyān niṣhedh karyo nathī.
jo pratīti chhoḍāvī hoy to e lakṣhaṇano niṣhedh karyo kahevāy, paṇ em to nathī. sātey
tattvonī pratīti to tyān paṇ kāyam ja rahe chhe, māṭe ahīn avyāptipaṇun nathī.
prashnaḥchhadmasthane to pratītiapratīti kahevī sambhave chhe, tethī tyān sāt
tattvonī pratītine samyaktvanun lakṣhaṇ kahyun te ame mānyun, paṇ kevaḷīsiddhabhagavānane
to sarvanun jāṇapaṇun samānarūp chhe tethī tyān sāt tattvonī pratīti kahevī sambhavatī nathī
ane temane samyaktvaguṇ to hoy chhe ja, māṭe tyān e lakṣhaṇamān avyāptipaṇun āvyun?
uttaraḥjem chhadmasthane shrutagnān anusār pratīti hoy chhe tem kevaḷī siddha-
bhagavānane kevaḷagnān anusār pratīti hoy chhe. je sāt tattvonun svarūp pahelān barābar nirṇīt
karyun hatun te ja have kevaḷagnānavaḍe jāṇyun eṭale tyān pratītimān param avagāḍhapaṇun thayun. tethī
ja tyān paramāvagāḍhasamyaktva kahyun chhe. pūrve je shraddhān karyun hatun tene jo jūṭh jāṇyun hot to
tyān apratīti thāt; parantu jevun sāt tattvonun shraddhān chhadmasthane thayun hatun tevun ja kevaḷī
siddhabhagavānane paṇ hoy chhe, māṭe gnānādik hīnatāadhikatā hovā chhatān paṇ tiryañchādik ane
kevaḷīsiddhabhagavānane samyaktvaguṇ to samān ja kahyo.
vaḷī pūrva avasthāmān te em mānato hato ke ‘samvarnirjarāvaḍe mokṣhano upāy karavo,’
have muktaavasthā thatān em mānavā lāgyo ke ‘samvarnirjarāvaḍe mane muktadashā prāpta thaī.’
pahelān gnānanī hīnatāthī jīvādikanā thoḍā bhedo jāṇato hato ane have kevaḷagnān thatān tenā
sarva bhedo jāṇe chhe, parantu mūḷabhūt jīvādikanān svarūpanun shraddhān jevun chhadmasthane hoy chhe tevun

ja kevaḷīne paṇ hoy chhe. joke kevaḷīsiddhabhagavān anya padārthone paṇ pratīti sahit jāṇe
chhe topaṇ te padārtho prayojanabhūt nathī tethī samyaktvaguṇamān sāt tattvonun shraddhān ja grahaṇ
karyun chhe.
kevaḷīsiddhabhagavān rāgādirūp pariṇamatā nathī ane sansāraavasthāne
ichchhatā nathī te ā shraddhānanun baḷ jāṇavun.
prashnaḥsamyagdarshanane to mokṣhamārga kahyo hato, to mokṣhamān teno sadbhāv
kevī rīte kaho chho?
uttaraḥkoī kāraṇo evān paṇ hoy chhe kekārya siddha thavā chhatān paṇ naṣhṭa thatān
nathī. jemake koī vr̥ukṣhane koī ek shākhāthī anek shākhāyukta avasthā thaī, tenā hovā chhatān
te ek shākhā naṣhṭa thatī nathī; tem koī ātmāne samyaktva guṇavaḍe anek guṇayukta
mokṣhaavasthā thaī, have te hovā chhatān paṇ samyaktva guṇ naṣhṭa thato nathī. e pramāe kevaḷī
siddhabhagavānane paṇ tattvārthashraddhān lakṣhaṇ ja samyaktva hoy chhe, māṭe tyān mithyādraṣhṭinun
tattvashraddhān nām nikṣhepathī hoy chhe avyāptipaṇun nathī.
prashnaḥmithyādraṣhṭine paṇ tattvārthashraddhān hoy chhe em shāstramān nirūpaṇ chhe,
ane shrī pravachanasāramān ātmagnānashūnya tattvārthashraddhān akāryakārī kahyun chhe; māṭe
samyaktvanun lakṣhaṇ tattvārthashraddhān kahyun, temān ativyāptidūṣhaṇ lāge chhe?
uttaraḥmithyādraṣhṭine je tattvashraddhān kahyun chhe te nāmanikṣhepathī kahyun chhe. jemān tattva -
shraddhānano guṇ nathī ane vyavahāramān jenun nām tattvashraddhān kahīe chhīe te mithyādraṣhṭine hoy
chhe, athavā āgamadravyanikṣhepathī hoy chhe. tattvārthashraddhānanān pratipādak shāstrono abhyās chhe paṇ
tenā svarūpano nishchay karavāmān upayog lagāvato nathī em jāṇavun; ane ahīn je samyaktvanun
lakṣhaṇ tattvārthashraddhān kahyun, te to bhāvanikṣhepathī kahyun chhe, evā guṇasahit sāchun tattvārthashraddhān
mithyādraṣhṭine kadī paṇ hotun nathī. vaḷī ātmagnānashūnya tattvārthashraddhān kahyun chhe tyān paṇ e
ja artha jāṇavo; kāraṇ ke
jene jīv
ajīvādinun sāchun shraddhān hoy tene ātmagnān kem na
hoy? avashya hoy ja. e pramāṇe koī paṇ mithyādraṣhṭine sāchun tattvārthashraddhān sarvathā hotun
nathī, māṭe e lakṣhaṇamān ativyāptidūṣhaṇ lāgatun nathī.
vaḷī ā tattvārthashraddhānalakṣhaṇ kahyun chhe te asambhavadūṣhaṇayukta paṇ nathī. kāraṇ ke
samyaktvanun pratipakṣhī mithyātva ja chhe, tenun lakṣhaṇ ānāthī viparītatā sahit chhe.
e pramāṇe avyāpti, ativyāpti ane asambhavapaṇāthī rahit tattvārthashraddhān sarva
samyagdraṣhṭione to hoy chhe tathā koī paṇ mithyādraṣhṭione hotun nathī, tethī samyagdarshananun sāchun
lakṣhaṇ tattvārthashraddhān ja chhe.

samyaktvanā vibhinna lakṣhaṇono meḷ
prashnaḥahīn sātey tattvonā shraddhānano niyam kaho chho paṇ te banato nathī,
kāraṇ kekoī ṭhekāṇe parathī bhinna potānā shraddhānane ja samyaktva kahe chhe. shrī
samayasār kaḷashamān ‘एकत्वे नियतस्य’1 ityādi kaḷash chhe, temān em kahyun chhe ke
ātmānun paradravyathī bhinna avalokan te ja niyamathī samyagdarshan chhe. tethī nav tattvanī
santatine chhoḍī amāre to ā ek ātmā ja prāpta thāo.
vaḷī koī ṭhekāṇe ek ātmānā nishchayane ja samyaktva kahe chhe. shrī puruṣhārtha-
siddhyiupāyamān ‘दर्शनमात्मविनिश्चितिः’2 evun pad chhe teno paṇ evo ja artha chhe, māṭe jīv
ajīvanun ja vā kevaḷ jīvanun ja shraddhān thatān samyaktva hoy chhe. jo sāt tattvonā shraddhānano
niyam hoy to ām shā māṭe lakhat?
uttaraḥparathī bhinna je potānun shraddhān hoy chhe te āsravādi shraddhānathī rahit
hoy chhe ke sahit hoy chhe? jo rahit hoy chhe to mokṣhanā shraddhān vinā te kayā prayojan
arthe āvo upāy kare chhe? samvar
nirjarānā shraddhān vinā rāgādi rahit thaī svarūpamān
upayog lagāvavāno udyam te shā māṭe rākhe chhe? āsravbandhanā shraddhān vinā te pūrvaavasthāne
shā māṭe chhoḍe chhe? māṭe āsravādinā shraddhānarahit svaparanun shraddhān karavun sambhavatun nathī; ane
jo āsravādikanā shraddhānasahit chhe to tyān svayam sāte tattvonā shraddhānano niyam thayo. vaḷī
kevaḷ ātmāno nishchay chhe tyān paṇ paranun pararūp shraddhān thayā vinā ātmānun shraddhān thāy
nahi? māṭe ajīvanun shraddhān thatān ja jīvanun shraddhān thāy chhe; ane pratham kahyā pramāṇe
āsravādikanun shraddhān paṇ tyān avashya hoy ja chhe tethī ahīn paṇ sāte tattvonā ja shraddhānano
niyam jāṇavo.
bījun āsravādinā shraddhān vinā svaparanun shraddhān vā kevaḷ ātmānun shraddhān sāchun
hotun nathī kāraṇ keātmā dravya chhe te to shuddhaashuddhaparyāy sahit chhe. jem tantunā avalokan
vinā paṭanun avalokan na thāy tem shuddhaashuddhaparyāy oḷakhyā vinā ātmadravyanun shraddhān na
thāy. te shuddhaashuddha avasthānī oḷakhāṇ āsravādinī oḷakhāṇathī thāy chhe. āsravādinā

(evun) shraddhān karo vā na karo ‘pote chhe te pote ja chhe ane par chhe te par chhe.’ vaḷī
āsravādinun shraddhān hoy to āsrav
bandhano abhāv karī samvarnirjarārūp upāyathī mokṣhapadane
prāpta kare, tathā svaparanun paṇ shraddhān karāvīe chhīe te e ja prayojan arthe karāvīe chhīe;
māṭe āsravādikanā shraddhānasahit svaparanun jāṇavun vā svanun jāṇavun kāryakārī chhe.
prashnaḥjo em chhe to shāstromān svaparanā shraddhānane vā kevaḷ ātmānā
shraddhānane ja samyaktva kahyun vā kāryakārī kahyun tathā nav tattvanī santati chhoḍī amāre
to ek ātmā ja prāpta thāo, em kem kahyun chhe?
uttaraḥjene svaparanun vā ātmānun satya shraddhān hoy tene sāte tattvonun shraddhān
avashya hoy ja, tathā jene sāte tattvonun satyashraddhān hoy tene svaparanun vā ātmānun shraddhān
avashya hoy ja. evun paraspar avinābhāvapaṇun jāṇī svaparanā shraddhānane vā ātmashraddhānane
ja samyaktva kahyun chhe.
paṇ e chhaḷathī koī sāmānyapaṇe svaparane jāṇī vā ātmāne jāṇī kr̥utakr̥utyapaṇun māne
to tene bhram chhe. kāraṇ ke em kahyun chhe keनिर्विशेषो हि सामान्यं ‘भवेत्खरविषाणवत्’ eno artha
visheṣharahit sāmānya chhe te gadheḍānā shīṅgaḍā samān chhe. māṭe prayojanabhūt āsravādi
visheṣhosahit sva
paranun vā ātmānun shraddhān karavā yogya chhe; athavā sāte tattvārthonā shraddhānathī
je rāgādik maṭāḍavā arthe paradravyone bhinna chintave chhe, vā potānā ātmāne ja chintave chhe tene
prayojananī siddhi thāy chhe, tethī mukhyapaṇe bhedavignānane vā ātmagnānane kāryakārī kahyun chhe.
vaḷī tattvārthashraddhān karyā vinā sarva jāṇavun kāryakārī nathī, kāraṇ keprayojan to
rāgādi maṭāḍavānun chhe. have āsravādinā shraddhān vinā e prayojan bhāsatun nathī tyāre kevaḷ

ane pāchhaḷathī nirvikalpadashā thavā arthe nav tattvono paṇ vikalpa chhoḍavānī ichchhā karī; paṇ
jene pahelān ja nav tattvono vichār nathī tene te vikalpo chhoḍavānun shun prayojan chhe? anya
anek vikalpo potāne thāy chhe teno ja tyāg karo.
e pramāṇe svaparanā shraddhānamān vā ātmashraddhānamān sāt tattvonā shraddhānanī sāpekṣhatā

dravyaliṅgī muni ādi vyavahāradharmanā dhārak mithyādraṣhṭione paṇ

athavā jem aṇuvrat, mahāvrat hoy chhatān deshachāritra, sakalachāritra hoy vā na hoy,
parantu aṇuvrat thayā vinā deshachāritra tathā mahāvrat thayā vinā sakalachāritra kadī paṇ hoy
nahi, māṭe e vratone anvayarūp kāraṇ jāṇī kāraṇamān kāryano upachār karī tene chāritra kahyun
chhe; tem arahantadevādikanun shraddhān thatān to samyaktva hoy vā na hoy parantu arahantādikanā
shraddhān thayā vinā tattvārthashraddhānarūp samyaktva kadīpaṇ hoy nahi, māṭe arihantādikanā shraddhānane
anvayarūp kāraṇ jāṇī kāraṇamān kāryano upachār karī e shraddhānane samyaktva kahyun chhe, ane
eṭalā ja māṭe tenun nām vyavahārasamyaktva chhe.
athavā jene tattvārthashraddhān hoy tene sāchā arahantādikanā svarūpanun shraddhān avashya hoy
ja. tattvārthashraddhān vinā arahantādikanun shraddhān pakṣhathī kare topaṇ yathāvat svarūpanī oḷakhāṇ
sahit shraddhān thāy nahi, tathā jene sāchā arahantādikanā svarūpanun shraddhān hoy tene tattvārtha -
shraddhān avashya hoy ja, kāraṇ ke arahantādinā svarūpane oḷakhatān jīv
ajīvāsravādinī
oḷakhāṇ thāy chhe.
e pramāṇe tene paraspar avinābhāvī jāṇī koī ṭhekāṇe arahantādinā shraddhānane
samyaktva kahyun chhe.
prashnaḥnārakādi jīvone devkudevādino vyavahār nathī chhatān temane samyaktva
to hoy chhe; māṭe samyaktva thatān arahantādinun shraddhān avashya hoy ja evo niyam
sambhavato nathī?
uttaraḥsāt tattvonā shraddhānamān arahantādinun shraddhān garbhit chhe, kāraṇ ke
tattvashraddhānamān mokṣhatattvane te sarvotkr̥uṣhṭa māne chhe, have mokṣhatattva to arahantasiddhanun ja lakṣhaṇ

nirjarā chhe tethī tene paṇ te utkr̥uṣhṭa māne chhe ane samvarnirjarānā dhārak mukhyapaṇe
munirāj chhe tethī te munirājane uttam māne chhe, paṇ anyane uttam mānato nathī, e ja

जो जाणदि अरहंतं दव्वत्तगुणत्तपज्जयत्तेहिं

māhātmya paṇ yathārtha jāṇato nathī, (mātra) laukik atishayādine arahantanun, tapashcharaṇādivaḍe
gurunun ane parajīvonī ahinsādivaḍe dharmanun māhātmya jāṇe chhe, paṇ e to parāshritabhāv chhe
ane arahantādinun svarūp to ātmāshrit bhāvovaḍe tattvashraddhān thatān ja jaṇāy chhe, māṭe jene
arahantādikanun sāchun shraddhān hoy tene tattvashraddhān avashya hoy ja evo niyam jāṇavo.
e pramāṇe samyaktvanun lakṣhaṇanirdesh karyun.
prashnaḥsāchun tattvārthashraddhān, vā svaparanun shraddhān, vā ātmashraddhān, vā
devgurudharmanun shraddhān samyaktvanun lakṣhaṇ kahyun ane e sarva lakṣhaṇonī paraspar ekatā
paṇ darshāvī te jāṇī, parantu ām anya anya prakārathī lakṣhaṇ kahevānun shun prayojan?
uttaraḥe chār lakṣhaṇo kahyān temān sāchī draṣhṭivaḍe (koī) ek lakṣhaṇ grahaṇ karatān
chāre lakṣhaṇonun grahaṇ thāy chhe, topaṇ mukhya prayojan judun judun vichārī anya anya prakārathī
e lakṣhaṇo kahyān chhe.
jyān tattvārthashraddhān lakṣhaṇ kahyun chhe tyān to ā prayojan chhe kejo e tattvone oḷakhe
to vastunā yathārtha svarūpanun vā potānā hitahitanun shraddhān kare tyāre mokṣhamārgamān pravarte.

nathī. evā mūḷabhūt prayojananī pradhānatā jāṇī ātmashraddhānane mukhya lakṣhaṇ kahyun chhe.
tathā jyān devgurudharmanā shraddhānarūp lakṣhaṇ kahyun chhe tyān bāhyasādhananī pradhānatā karī
chhe, kāraṇ kearahantadevādikanun shraddhān sāchā tattvārthashraddhānanun kāraṇ chhe tathā kudevādikanun shraddhān
kalpit tattvashraddhānanun kāraṇ chhe, e bāhya kāraṇanī pradhānatāthī kudevādikanun shraddhān chhoḍāvī

uttaraḥjyān mithyātvakarmano upashamādik thatān viparītābhiniveshano abhāv thāy chhe
tyān e chāre lakṣhaṇo ekasāth hoy chhe. tathā vichār apekṣhāe mukhyapaṇe tattvārthone vichāre

paranun bhedavignān kare chhe, kān to ātmasvarūpanun ja smaraṇ kare chhe agar
kān to devādikanā svarūpane vichāre chhe. e pramāṇe gnānamān to nānā prakāranā vichār hoy
chhe, parantu shraddhānamān sarvatra paraspar sāpekṣhapaṇun hoy chhe. jem

bhedavignānādikanā abhiprāyasahit kare chhe, tathā bhedavignān kare chhe to tattvavichār ādinā

samyagdraṣhṭinā shraddhānamān chāre lakṣhaṇono aṅgīkār chhe.
paṇ jene mithyātvano uday chhe tene viparītābhinivesh hoy chhe, tene e lakṣhaṇo
ābhāsamātra hoy chhe, sāchān hotān nathī. te jinamatanān jīvāditattvone māne chhe anyane mānato
nathī tathā tenān nām
bhedādine shīkhe chhe; e pramāṇe tene tattvārthashraddhān hoy chhe; parantu tene
yathārtha bhāvanun shraddhān hotun nathī. vaḷī e svaparanā bhinnapaṇānī vāto kare, chintavan kare,
parantu jevī paryāyamān ahambuddhi chhe tathā vastrādikamān parabuddhi chhe, tevī ātmāmān ahambuddhi ane

anukramathī jo sādhan kare to paramparā sāchā mokṣhamārgane pāmī koī jīv siddhapadane paṇ prāpta
karī le, tathā e anukramanun ullaṅghan karīne jene devādikanī mānyatānun to kāī ṭhekāṇun nathī
tathā buddhinī tīvratāthī tattvavichārādimān pravarte chhe ane tethī potāne gnānī māne chhe athavā
tattvavichāramān paṇ upayog lagāvato nathī, potāne sva
parano bhedavignānī thayo vichāre chhe,
athavā svaparano paṇ yathārtha nirṇay karato nathī chhatān potāne ātmagnānī māne chhe, paṇ e
badhī chaturāīnī vāto chhe, mānādi kaṣhāyanān sādhan chhe; kāī paṇ kāryakārī nathī. māṭe je
jīv potānun bhalun karavā ichchhe teṇe to jyānsudhī sāchā samyagdarshananī prāpti na thāy tyānsudhī
ene paṇ anukramathī ja aṅgīkār karavān.
e ja ahīn kahīe chhīepratham āgnādivaḍe vā koī parīkṣhāvaḍe kudevādinī mānyatā
chhoḍī arahantadevādikanun shraddhān karavun, kāraṇ keenun shraddhān thatān gr̥uhītamithyātvano to abhāv
thāy chhe tathā mokṣhamārgamān vighna karavāvāḷā kudevādikanun nimitta dūr thāy chhe ane mokṣhamārgane
sahāyak arahant devādikanun nimitta maḷe chhe māṭe pratham devādikanun shraddhān karavun. pachhī
jinamatamān kahelān jīvāditattvono vichār karavo, tenān nām
lakṣhaṇādi shīkhavān, kāraṇ keenā
abhyāsathī tattvashraddhānanī prāpti thāy chhe. pachhī svaparanun bhinnapaṇun jethī bhāse tevā vichāro
karyā karavān, kāraṇ kee abhyāsathī bhedavignān thāy chhe. tyār pachhī ek svamān svapaṇun
mānavā arthe svarūpano vichār karyā karavo. kāraṇ kee abhyāsathī ātmānubhavanī prāpti
thāy chhe.
e pramāṇe anukramathī tene aṅgīkār karī pachhī temānthī ja koī veḷā devādinā
vichāramān, koī veḷā tattvavichāramān, koī veḷā svaparanā vichāramān tathā koī veḷā
ātmavichāramān upayogane lagāvavo. e pramāṇe abhyāsathī darshanamoh mand thato jāy chhe, ane
kadāchit satya samyagdarshananī prāpti thāy chhe, parantu thāy ja evo niyam to nathī; koī jīvane
koī prabaḷ viparīt kāraṇ vachche āvī jāy to samyagdarshananī prāpti na paṇ thāy, parantu
mukhyapaṇe ghaṇā jīvone to e anukramathī kāryasiddhi thāy chhe. māṭe tene e ja pramāṇe aṅgīkār

putrano arthī vivāhādi kāraṇone to meḷave, temān ghaṇā puruṣhone putranī prāpti thāy
ja, chhatān koīne na thāy to na paṇ thāy, parantu teṇe to upāy karavo; tem samyaktvano arthī

ūpajato nathī, tethī e lakṣhaṇane mukhya karyun chhe. e ahīn darshāvīe chhīe
devgurudharmanā shraddhānamān tuchchhabuddhivānane em bhāse ke arahantadevādikane mānavā,
anyane na mānavāeṭalun ja samyaktva chhe, paṇ tyān jīvajīvanun vā bandhmokṣhanā
kāraṇakāryanun svarūp bhāse nahi to mokṣhamārgarūp prayojananī siddhi thāy nahi; vā jīvādinun
shraddhān thayā vinā mātra e ja shraddhānamān santuṣhṭa thaī potāne samyagdraṣhṭi māne, vā kudevādi
pratye dveṣh to rākhe paṇ anya rāgādi chhoḍavāno udyam na kare, evo bhram ūpaje.
vaḷī svaparanā shraddhānamān tuchchhabuddhivānane em bhāse chhe ke svaparanun jāṇavun ja
kāryakārī chhe ane tenāthī ja samyaktva thāy chhe. paṇ tyān āsravādinun svarūp bhāsatun nathī
ane tethī mokṣhamārgarūp prayojananī siddhi paṇ thatī nathī, vā āsravādinun shraddhān thayā vinā
mātra eṭalun ja jāṇavāmān santuṣhṭa thaī potāne samyagdraṣhṭi mānī svachchhandī thaī rāgādi chhoḍavāno

kāryakārī chhe ane tenāthī ja samyaktva thāy chhe, paṇ tyān jīvajīvādinā visheṣho vā
āsravādinun svarūp bhāsatun nathī ane tethī mokṣhamārgarūp prayojananī siddhi paṇ thatī nathī,
vā jīvādinā visheṣhonun ane āsravādinā svarūpanun shraddhān thayā vinā mātra eṭalā ja vichārathī
potāne samyagdraṣhṭi mānī svachchhandī banī rāgādi chhoḍavāno udyam kare nahi, tene paṇ evo
ja bhram ūpaje chhe.

satyārthanun nām ja nishchay chhe, tathā e viparītābhinivesharahit shraddhānane kāraṇabhūt shraddhān te
vyavahārasamyaktva chhe, kāraṇ ke
ahīn kāraṇamān kāryano upachār karyo chhe, ane upachāranun nām

tyān samyagdraṣhṭi jīvane devgurudharmādikanun sāchun shraddhān chhe, tenā ja nimittathī tenā

te viparītābhiniveshanā abhāvane sākṣhāt kāraṇ thayun nahi ane kāraṇ thayā vinā temān

arahantādine devādik māne anyane na māne tene devādikano shraddhānī kahīe chhīe. tathā
tattvashraddhānamān tene vichāranī mukhyatā chhe; je gnānamān jīvāditattvone vichāre chhe tene tattva -
shraddhānī kahīe chhīe. e pramāṇe tyān mukhyatā hoy chhe. e banne koī jīvane to samyaktvanān
kāraṇ thāy chhe parantu teno sadbhāv mithyādraṣhṭine paṇ sambhave chhe tethī tene vyavahārasamyaktva
kahyān chhe.
vaḷī svaparanā shraddhānamān vā ātmashraddhānamān viparītābhinivesharahitapaṇānī mukhyatā
chhe. arthāt je svaparanun bhedavignān kare vā potānā ātmāne anubhave tene mukhyapaṇe
viparītābhinivesh hoy nahi, tethī bhedavignānīne vā ātmagnānīne samyagdraṣhṭi kahīe chhīe.
e pramāṇe sva
paranun shraddhān vā ātmashraddhān samyagdraṣhṭine ja hoy chhe, tethī tene

ā kathan mukhyatānī apekṣhāe chhe paṇ tāratamyapaṇe e chāre lakṣhaṇ mithyādraṣhṭine
ābhāsamātra hoy chhe tathā samyagdraṣhṭine sāchān hoy chhe. tyān ābhāsamātra chhe te to
niyamarahit samyaktvanān paramparā kāraṇ chhe tathā sāchān chhe te niyamarūp sākṣhāt kāraṇ chhe tethī
tene vyavahārarūp kahīe chhīe. enā nimittathī je viparītābhinivesharahit shraddhān thayun te
nishchayasamyaktva chhe, em jāṇavun.
prashnaḥkeṭalāk shāstromān lakhyun chhe ke‘ātmā chhe te ja nishchayasamyaktva
chhe, anya badho vyavahār chhe’te kevī rīte?
uttaraḥviparītābhinivesharahit shraddhān thayun te ātmānun ja svarūp chhe. tyān
abhedabuddhithī ātmā ane samyaktvamān bhinnatā nathī tethī nishchayathī ātmāne ja samyaktva
kahyun, anya sarva samyaktva to nimittamātra chhe. athavā bhedakalpanā karatān ātmā ane samyaktvane
bhinnatā kahevāmān āve chhe, tethī anya badho vyavahār kahyo chhe, em jāṇavun.
ā prakāre nishchayasamyaktva tathā vyavahārasamyaktva dvārā samyaktvanā be bhed thāy chhe.

arthaḥjinaāgnāthī tattvashraddhān thayun hoy te āgnāsamyaktva chhe.
ahīn eṭalun jāṇavun ke ‘māre jinaāgnā pramāṇ chhe’ eṭalun ja shraddhān kāī samyaktva
nathī, āgnā mānavī e to kāraṇabhūt chhe tethī ahīn āgnāthī utpanna thayun kahyun chhe, māṭe
pratham jinaāgnā mānavā pachhī je tattvashraddhān thayun te āgnāsamyaktva chhe. (2) e ja pramāṇe
nirgranthamārganā avalokanathī je tattvashraddhān thayun hoy te mārgasamyaktva chhe. (3) tīrthaṅkarādi
utkr̥uṣhṭa puruṣhonā purāṇonā upadeshathī utpanna thayelā samyaggnān vaḍe arthāt āgamasamudramān
pravīṇ puruṣhonā upadesh ādithī prāpti thayelī je upadeshadraṣhṭi te upadeshasamyaktva chhe.
(4) munijanonā ācharaṇavidhānane pratipādan karatā evā āchārasūtrone sāmbhaḷī je shraddhān
karavun thāy tene bhalā prakārathī sūtradraṣhṭi kahī chhe, ane te sūtrasamyaktva chhe. (5) bīj je
gaṇitagnānanun kāraṇ tenā vaḍe darshanamohanā anupam upashamanā baḷathī duṣhkar chhe jāṇavānī gati
jenī evā padārthono samūh tenī thaī chhe upalabdhi arthāt shraddhārūp pariṇati jene
evā
je karaṇānuyoganā gnānī bhavya tene bījadraṣhṭi thāy chhe bījasamyaktva jāṇavun. (6) padārthonā
saṅkṣhepapaṇāthī jāṇavā vaḍe je shraddhān thayun hoy te bhalī saṅkṣhepadraṣhṭi chhe ane tene saṅkṣhepasamyaktva
jāṇavun. (7) dvādashāṅgavāṇīne sāmbhaḷī karelī je ruchi arthāt shraddhān tene he bhavya! tun
vistāradraṣhṭi jāṇ, ane te vistārasamyaktva chhe. (8) jainashāstronā vachan vinā koī arthanā
nimittathī thayelī je arthadraṣhṭi, tene arthasamyaktva jāṇavun. e āṭh bhed to kāraṇonī apekṣhāe
karyā chhe tathā (9) shrutakevaḷī je tattvashraddhān chhe tene avagāḍhasamyaktva kahīe chhīe.
(10) kevaḷagnānīne je tattvashraddhān chhe tene paramāvagāḍhasamyaktva kahīe chhīe. e chhellā be
bhed gnānanā sahakārīpaṇānī apekṣhāe karyā chhe.
e pramāṇe samyaktvanā dash bhed kahyā.
tyān sarva ṭhekāṇe samyaktvanun svarūp tattvārthashraddhān ja jāṇavun.

tyān eṭalun visheṣh chhe keanādimithyādraṣhṭine to ek mithyātvaprakr̥itino ja upasham
hoy chhe, kāraṇ ketene mishramohanīy tathā samyaktvamohanīyanī sattā nathī, paṇ jyāre jīv
upashamasamyaktvane prāpta thāy chhe, tyāre te samyaktvanā kāḷamān mithyātvanā paramāṇuone mishra-
mohanīyarūpe vā samyaktvamohanīyarūpe pariṇamāve chhe, tyāre tene traṇ prakr̥itionī sattā thāy
chhe, māṭe anādi mithyādraṣhṭine ek mithyātvaprakr̥itinī sattā chhe, ane teno ja upasham thāy
chhe. vaḷī sādimithyādraṣhṭiomān koīne traṇ prakr̥itionī sattā chhe tathā koīne ekanī ja sattā
chhe. jene samyaktvanā kāḷamān traṇanī sattā thaī hatī te sattā jenāmān hoy tene to traṇanī
sattā chhe, tathā jene mishramohanīy ane samyaktvamohanīyanī udvelanā thaī gaī hoy arthāt
tenā paramāṇu mithyātvarūpe pariṇamī gayā hoy tene ek mithyātvanī ja sattā chhe; māṭe
sādimithyādraṣhṭine traṇ prakr̥itiono vā ek prakr̥itino upasham thāy chhe.
prashnaḥupasham eṭale shun?
uttaraḥanivr̥uttikaraṇamān karelān antarakaraṇavidhānathī samyaktvanā kāḷamān je uday
āvavā yogya niṣhek hatā teno to ahīn abhāv karyo, arthāt tenā paramāṇuone anya kāḷamān
uday āvavā yogya niṣhekarūp karyā; tathā anivr̥uttikaraṇamān ja karelā upashamavidhānathī je te
kāḷamān uday āvavā yogya niṣhek hatā te udīraṇārūp thaīne ā kāḷamān udayamān na āvī
shake evā karyā.
e pramāṇe jyān sattā to hoy paṇ teno uday na hoy tenun nām upasham chhe.
em ā mithyātvathī thayelun prathamopashamasamyaktva chhe te chaturthādithī māṇḍī sātamā
guṇasthān sudhī hoy chhe.
tathā prathamashreṇī sanmukh thatān sātamā guṇasthānamān kṣhayopashamasamyaktvathī je
upashamasamyaktva thāy tenun nām dvitīyopashamasamyaktva chhe. ahīn karaṇavaḍe traṇ ja prakr̥itiono
upasham thāy chhe. kāraṇ ke āne traṇ prakr̥itionī ja sattā hoy chhe. ahīn paṇ antarakaraṇ-
vidhānathī vā upashamavidhānathī tenā udayano abhāv kare chhe e ja upasham chhe. te ā
dvitīyopashamasamyaktva sātamā ādithī māṇḍī agīyāramā guṇasthān sudhī hoy chhe tathā tyānthī
paḍatān koīne chhaṭhṭhe, pāñchame ane chothe guṇasthāne paṇ rahe chhe em jāṇavun.
em upashamasamyaktva be prakārathī chhe. e samyaktva vartamānakāḷamān kṣhāyikavat nirmaḷ
chhe; tene pratipakṣhīkarmanī sattā hoy chhe tethī ā samyaktva antarmuhūrtakāḷamātra rahe chhe. pachhī
darshanamohano uday āve chhe em jāṇavun.

tathā jyān darshanamohanī traṇ prakr̥itiomān samyaktvamohanīyano uday hoy, anya beno
uday na hoy, tyān kṣhayopashamasamyaktva hoy chhe. upashamasamyaktvano kāḷ pūrṇa thatān ā
samyaktva hoy chhe athavā sādimithyādraṣhṭine mithyātvaguṇasthānathī vā mishra guṇasthānathī paṇ
ānī prāpti thāy chhe.
prashnaḥkṣhayopasham eṭale shun?
uttaraḥdarshanamohanīyanī traṇ prakr̥itiomān je mithyātvano anubhāg chhe tenā
anantamā bhāge mishramohanīyano chhe, tenā anantamā bhāge samyaktvamohanīyano anubhāg chhe,
temān samyaktvamohanīyaprakr̥iti deshaghāti chhe, teno uday hovā chhatān paṇ samyaktvano ghāt thato
nathī, kiñchit malinatā kare paṇ mūḷathī ghāt na karī shake, tenun ja nām deshaghāti chhe.
have jyān mithyātva vā samyakmithyātvanā vartamānakāḷamān uday āvavā yogya niṣhekono
uday thayā vinā ja nirjarā thāy e to kṣhay jāṇavo tathā tenā bhāvikāḷamān uday āvavā
yogya niṣhekonī sattā hoy te ja upasham chhe ane samyaktvamohanīyano uday varte chhe, evī
dashā jyān hoy te kṣhayopasham chhe; tethī samaḷatattvārthashraddhān hoy te kṣhayopashamasamyaktva chhe.
ahīn je maḷ lāge chhe tenun tāratamya svarūp to kevaḷagnānī jāṇe chhe. udāharaṇ
darshāvavā arthe chal, malin ane agāḍhapaṇun kahyun chhe. tyān vyavahāramātra devādikanī pratīti to
hoy parantu arahantadevādimān ‘ā mārā chhe, ā anyanā chhe’
ityādi bhāv te chalapaṇun chhe,
shaṅkādi maḷ lāge te malinapaṇun chhe tathā ā ‘shāntināth shāntinā kartā chhe’ ityādi bhāv te
agāḍhapaṇun chhe. evā udāharaṇ vyavahāramātramān darshāvyān chhe, parantu niyamarūp nathī. kṣhayopasham-
samyaktvamān je niyamarūp koī maḷ lāge chhe te to kevaḷagnānī jāṇe chhe, āṭalun samajavun
ke
tene tattvārthashraddhānamān koī prakārathī samaḷapaṇun hoy chhe tethī e samyaktva nirmaḷ nathī. ā
kṣhayopashamasamyaktvano ek ja prakār chhe, emān koī bhed nathī.
visheṣh eṭalun chhe kekṣhāyik samyaktvanī sanmukh thatān antarmuhūrtakāḷamātra jyān
mithyātvaprakr̥itino kṣhay kare chhe tyān be ja prakr̥itionī sattā rahe chhe, pachhī mishramohanīyano
paṇ kṣhay kare chhe tyān ek samyaktvamohanīyanī ja sattā rahe chhe, tyārapachhī samyaktva-
mohanīyanī kāṇḍakaghātādikriyā karato nathī tyān e kr̥utakr̥utya vedakasamyagdraṣhṭi nām pāme chhe,
em jāṇavun.
e kṣhayopashamasamyaktvanun ja nām vedakasamyaktva chhe. jyān mithyātvamishramohanīyanī
mukhyatāthī kahīe tyān kṣhayopasham nām pāme chhe tathā jyān samyaktvamohanīyanī mukhyatāthī

kahīe tyān vedak nām pāme chhe paṇ e kahevāmātra be nām chhe, svarūpamān bhed nathī. tathā
ā kṣhayopashamasamyaktva chothāthī sātamā guṇasthān sudhī hoy chhe.

vaḷī e traṇe prakr̥itionā sarva niṣhekono sarvathā nāsh thatān je atyant nirmaḷ tattvārtha -
shraddhān thāy te kṣhāyikasamyaktva chhe. te chaturthādi chār guṇasthānomān koī ṭhekāṇe kṣhayopasham-
samyagdraṣhṭine tenī prāpti thāy chhe.
kevī rīte thāy chhe te ahīn kahīe chhīepratham traṇ karaṇavaḍe mithyātvanā
paramāṇuone mishramohanīyarūpe vā samyaktvamohanīyarūpe pariṇamāve athavā tenī nirjarā kare,
e pramāṇe mithyātvanī sattāno nāsh kare, tathā mishramohanīyanā paramāṇuone samyaktva-
mohanīyarūpe pariṇamāve vā tenī nirjarā kare,
e pramāṇe mishramohanīyano nāsh kare. vaḷī
samyaktvamohanīyanā niṣheko udayamān āvī kharī jāy, jo tenī sthiti ādi ghaṇī hoy to
tene sthitikāṇḍakādikavaḍe ghaṭāḍe, jyāre antarmuhūrta sthiti rahe tyāre te kr̥utakr̥utya vedakasamyagdraṣhṭi
thāy chhe, ane anukramathī e niṣhekono nāsh karī kṣhāyikasamyagdraṣhṭi thāy chhe.
pratipakṣhīkarmanā abhāvathī ā samyaktva nirmaḷ chhe vā mithyātvarūpī rañjanānā abhāvathī
vītarāg chhe. vaḷī eno nāsh thato nathī paṇ jyārathī utpanna thāy tyārathī siddhaavasthā sudhī
teno sadbhāv rahe chhe.
e pramāṇe kṣhāyikasamyaktvanun svarūp kahyun.
e pramāṇe samyaktvanā traṇ bhedo chhe.
vaḷī anantānubandhī kaṣhāyanī samyaktva thatān be avasthāo thāy chhekān to aprashasta
upasham thāy chhe agar visanyojan thāy chhe.
tyān je karaṇavaḍe upashamavidhānathī upasham thāy chhe tenun nām prashasta upasham chhe tathā
udayano abhāv tenun nām aprashasta upasham chhe.
have anantānubandhīno prashasta upasham to thāy ja nahi paṇ mohanīyanī anya
prakr̥itiono thāy chhe. anantānubandhīno aprashasta upasham thāy chhe.
vaḷī je traṇ karaṇavaḍe anantānubandhīnā paramāṇuone anya chāritramohanīyanī prakr̥itirūp
pariṇamāvī tenī sattāno nāsh karavāmān āve tenun nām visanyojan chhe.
temān prathamopashamasamyaktvamān to anantānubandhīno aprashasta upasham ja chhe tathā
dvitīyopashamasamyaktvanī prāpti to pratham anantānubandhīnī visanyojanā thayā pachhī ja thāy evo

niyam koī āchārya lakhe chhe ane koī nathī lakhatā. bījun kṣhayopashamasamyaktvamān koī jīvane
aprashasta upasham thāy chhe vā koīne visanyojan thāy chhe, tathā kṣhāyikasamyaktva chhe te pahelān
anantānubandhīnun visanyojan thayā pachhī ja thāy chhe em jāṇavun.
ahīn āṭalun visheṣh keupasham ane kṣhayopashamasamyagdraṣhṭine to anantānubandhīnā
visanyojanathī sattāno nāsh thayo hato paṇ jo te pharīne mithyātvamān āve to anantānubandhīno
bandh kare tyān pharīthī tenī sattāno sadbhāv thāy chhe, ane kṣhāyik samyagdraṣhṭi mithyātvamān
āvato ja nathī tethī tene anantānubandhīnī sattā kadī paṇ hotī nathī.
prashnaḥanantānubandhī to chāritramohanīyanī prakr̥iti chhe, te chāritrano ghāt
kare; paṇ e vaḍe samyaktvano ghāt kevī rīte sambhave?
uttaraḥanantānubandhīnā udayathī krodhādirūp pariṇām thāy chhe paṇ kāī atattva -
shraddhān thatun nathī, māṭe anantānubandhī chāritrano ja ghāt kare chhe paṇ samyaktvane ghātatī nathī;
paramārthathī to em ja chhe, parantu anantānubandhīnā udayathī jevā krodhādik thāy chhe tevā krodhādik
samyaktvanā sadbhāvamān thatā nathī evun temān nimitta
naimittikapaṇun hoy chhe. jemtrasapaṇānī
ghātak to sthāvaraprakr̥iti ja chhe parantu trasapaṇānā sadbhāvamān ekendriyajāti prakr̥itino paṇ uday
thato nathī tethī upachārathī ekendriyaprakr̥itine paṇ trasapaṇānī ghātak kahīe to tyān doṣh nathī; tem
samyaktvano ghātak to darshanamoh chhe, parantu samyaktvanā sadbhāvamān anantānubandhī kaṣhāyono paṇ
uday thato nathī tethī upachārathī anantānubandhīne paṇ samyaktvanun ghātakapaṇun kahīe to doṣh nathī.
prashnaḥjo anantānubandhī paṇ chāritrane ja ghāte chhe to teno abhāv thatān
kanīk chāritra thayun kaho, paṇ asanyataguṇasthānamān asanyam shā māṭe kaho chho?
uttaraḥanantānubandhī ādi bhed chhe te kaṣhāyonī tīvramandatānī apekṣhāe nathī,
kāraṇ kemithyādraṣhṭine tīvrakaṣhāy thatān vā mandakaṣhāy thatān paṇ anantānubandhī ādi chāre
kaṣhāyono uday yugapat hoy chhe, ane tyān chāreyanā utkr̥uṣhṭa spardhak samān kahyā chhe.
eṭalun visheṣh chhe keanantānubandhīnī sāthe apratyākhyānāvaraṇādi jevo tīvra uday
hoy chhe tevo tenā gayā pachhī hoto nathī, tathā e ja pramāṇe apratyākhyānāvaraṇanī sāthe
pratyākhyān ane sañjvalanano jevo uday hoy chhe tevo tenā gayā pachhī hoto nathī, tathā
pratyākhyānanī sāthe jevo sañjvalanano uday hoy chhe tevo ekalā sañjvalanano uday hoto nathī,
māṭe anantānubandhī gayā pachhī kanīk kaṣhāyonī mandatā to thāy chhe parantu evī mandatā thatī nathī
ke jethī koī chāritra nām pāme, kāraṇ ke
kaṣhāyonān asaṅkhyāt lokapramāṇ sthān chhe, temān
sarvatra pūrvasthānathī uttarasthānamān mandatā hoy chhe parantu vyavahārathī te sthānomān traṇ maryādā

chhe. have asanyataguṇasthānamān evā kaṣhāy ghaṭatān nathī tethī tyān asanyam kahyo chhe. vaḷī
kaṣhāyonī adhikatā
hīnatā hovā chhatān paṇ jem pramattādi guṇasthānomān sarvatra sakaḷasanyam ja
nām pāme chhe tem mithyātvathī asanyat sudhīnā guṇasthānomān asanyam nām pāme chhe paṇ sarva
ṭhekāṇe asanyamanī samānatā na jāṇavī.
prashnaḥjo anantānubandhīprakr̥iti samyaktvane ghātatī nathī to teno uday thatān
samyaktvathī bhraṣhṭa thaī sāsādan guṇasthānane kem pāme chhe?
uttaraḥjem koī manuṣhyane manuṣhyaparyāy nāsh thavānā kāraṇarūp tīvrarog pragaṭ
thayo hoy tene manuṣhyaparyāy chhoḍavāvāḷo kahīe chhīe paṇ manuṣhyapaṇun dūr thatān devādiparyāy
thāy chhe te to ā rog avasthāmān thaī nathī, ahīn to manuṣhyanun ja āyuṣhya chhe; tem
samyagdraṣhṭine samyaktvanā nāshanā kāraṇ anantānubandhīno uday thayo hoy tene samyaktvano
virādhak sāsādanī kahyo, paṇ samyaktvano abhāv thatān mithyātva thāy chhe te abhāv to ā
sāsādanamān thayo nathī, ahīn to upashamasamyaktvano ja kāḷ chhe
em jāṇavun.
e pramāṇe samyaktvanā sadbhāvamān anantānubandhī chokaḍīnī vyavasthā thāy chhe māṭe sāt
prakr̥itionā upashamādikathī paṇ samyaktvanī prāpti kahīe chhīe.
prashnaḥto samyaktvamārgaṇānā chha bhed karyā te kevī rīte?
uttaraḥsamyaktvanā to traṇ ja bhed chhe, parantu samyaktvanā abhāvarūp mithyātva,
e banneno mishrabhāv te mishra, tathā samyaktvano ghātakabhāv te sāsādan. e pramāṇe samyaktva-
mārgaṇāthī jīvano vichār karatān chha bhed kahyā chhe.
ahīn koī kahe ke‘samyaktvathī bhraṣhṭa thaī mithyātvamān āvyo hoy tene mithyātva-
samyaktva kahevāy’ em kahevun e to asatya chhe, kāraṇ keabhavyane paṇ teno sadbhāv
hoy chhe. vaḷī mithyātvasamyaktva kahevun e ja ashuddha chhe. jem sanyamamārgaṇāmān asanyam kahyā
