pApI the? yadi dharmAtmA the to gRuhasthonko aisA kArya karanA yogya huA, aur pApI the to
vahAn bhogAdikakA prayojan to thA nahIn, kisaliye banAyA? tathA draupadIne vahAn ‘‘NamotthuNan’’

bhalA karate hon tab to aisA bhI mAnen; parantu ve to vItarAg hain. yah jIv bhaktirUp apane
bhAvonse shubhaphal prApta karatA hai. jis prakAr strIke AkArarUp kAShTha
pAShANakI mUrti dekhakar
vahAn vikArarUp hokar anurAg kare to usako pApabandh hogA; usI prakAr arahantake AkArarUp
dhAtu
pAShANAdikakI mUrti dekhakar dharmabuddhi se vahAn anurAg kare to shubhakI prApti kaise na
hogI? vahAn ve kahate hainbinA pratimA hI ham arahantamen anurAg karake shubh utpanna karenge;

yahAn kalyAN, pAp aur ubhayyah tInon shAstra sunakar jAne, aisA kahA hai. so
ubhay to pAp aur kalyAN milanese hogA, so aise kAryakA bhI honA ThaharA. vahAn pUchhate
hain
keval dharmase to ubhay halkA hai hI, aur keval pApase ubhay burA hai yA bhalA hai?
yadi burA hai to isamen to kuchh kalyANakA ansh milA hai, pApase burA kaise kahen? bhalA
hai, to keval pApako chhoDakar aise kArya karanA ThaharA. tathA yuktise bhI aisA hI sambhav
hai. koI tyAgI hokar mandirAdik nahIn banavAtA hai va sAmAyikAdik niravadya kAryommen pravartatA
hai; to unhen chhoDakar pratimAdi karAnA va pUjanAdi karanA uchit nahIn hai. parantu koI apane
rahaneke lie makAn banAye, usase to chaityAlayAdi karAnevAlA hIn nahIn hai. hinsA to huI,
parantu usake to lobh
pApAnurAgakI vRuddhi huI aur isake lobh chhUTakar dharmAnurAg huA.
tathA koI vyApArAdi kArya kare, usase to pUjanAdi kArya karanA hIn nahIn hai. vahAn to
hinsAdi bahut hote hain, lobhAdi baDhatA hai, pApakI hI pravRutti hai. yahAn hinsAdik bhI kinchit
hote hain, lobhAdik ghaTate hain aur dharmAnurAg baDhatA hai.
is prakAr jo tyAgI na hon, apane
dhanako pApamen kharchate hon, unhen chaityAlayAdi banavAnA yogya hai. aur jo niravadya sAmAyikAdi
kAryommen upayogako na lagA saken unako pUjanAdi karanekA niShedh nahIn hai.

uttarayadi sharIr dvArA pAp chhoDane par hI niravadyapanA ho, to aisA hI karen; parantu
pariNAmommen pAp chhUTane par niravadyapanA hotA hai. so binA avalamban sAmAyikAdimen jisake
pariNAm na lagen vah pUjanAdi dvArA vahAn apanA upayog lagAtA hai. vahAn nAnAprakArake Alamban
dvArA upayog lag jAtA hai. yadi vahAn upayogako na lagAye to pApakAryommen upayog bhaTakegA
aur usase burA hogA; isaliye vahAn pravRutti karanA yukta hai.
tum kahate ho ki‘‘dharmake artha hinsA karanese to mahApAp hotA hai, anyatra hinsA
karanese thoDA pAp hotA hai’’; so pratham to yah siddhAntakA vachan nahIn hai aur yuktise bhI
nahIn milatA; kyonki aisA mAnanese to indra janmakalyANakamen bahut jalase abhiShek karatA hai,
samavasharaNamen dev puShpavRuShTi karanA, chamvar DhAlanA ityAdi kArya karate hain so ve mahApApI hue.
yadi tum kahogeunakA aisA hI vyavahAr hai, to kriyAkA phal to hue binA rahatA
nahIn hai. yadi pAp hai to indrAdik to samyagdRuShTi hain, aisA kArya kisaliye karenge? aur
dharma hai to kisaliye niShedh karate ho?
bhalA tumhInse pUchhate haintIrthankarakI vandanAko rAjAdik gaye, sAdhukI vandanAko dUr
bhI jAte hain, siddhAnta sunane Adi karaneke liye gamanAdi karate hain, vahAn mArgamen hinsA huI.
tathA sAdharmiyonko bhojan karAte hain, sAdhukA maraN hone par usakA sanskAr karate hain, sAdhu
hone par utsav karate hain, ityAdi pravRutti ab bhI dekhI jAtI hai; so yahAn bhI hinsA hotI
hai; parantu yah kArya to dharmake hI artha hain, anya koI prayojan nahIn hai. yadi yahAn mahApAp
hotA hai, to pUrvakAlamen aise kArya kiye unakA niShedh karo. aur ab bhI gRuhastha aisA
kArya karate hain, unakA tyAg karo. tathA yadi dharma hotA hai to dharmake artha hinsAmen mahApAp
batalAkar kisaliye bhramamen DAlate ho?
isaliye is prakAr mAnanA yukta hai kijaise thoDA dhan ThagAne par bahut dhanakA
lAbh ho to vah kArya karanA yogya hai; usI prakAr thoDe hinsAdik pAp hone par bahut
dharma utpanna ho to vah kArya karanA yogya hai. yadi thoDe dhanake lobhase kArya bigADe to
mUrkha hai; usI prakAr thoDI hinsAke bhayase baDA dharma chhoDe to pApI hotA hai. tathA koI

is prakAr apane pariNAmonkI avasthA dekhakar bhalA ho vah karanA; parantu ekAnta-
pakSha kAryakArI nahIn hai. tathA ahinsA hI keval dharmakA angga nahIn hai; rAgAdikonkA ghaTanA
dharmakA mukhya angga hai. isaliye jis prakAr pariNAmommen rAgAdik ghaTen vah kArya karanA.
tathA gRuhasthonko aNuvratAdikake sAdhan hue binA hI sAmAyik, pratikramaN, proShadh Adi
kriyAonkA mukhya AcharaN karAte hain. parantu sAmAyik to rAg-dveSharahit sAmyabhAv hone par
hotI hai, pATh mAtra paDhanese va uThanA-baiThanA karanese hI to hotI nahIn hai.
phi ra kahogeanya kArya karatA usase to bhalA hai? so satya; parantu sAmAyik pAThamen
pratignA to aisI karatA hai kiman-vachan-kAy dvArA sAvadyako na karUngA, na karAUngA; parantu
manamen to vikalpa hotA hI rahatA hai, aur vachan-kAyamen bhI kadAchit anyathA pravRutti hotI

isaliye apanA upayog jis prakAr nirmal ho vah kArya karanA. sadh sake vah pratignA
karanA. jisakA artha jAne vah pATh paDhanA. paddhati dvArA nAm rakhAnemen lAbh nahIn hai.
tathA pratikramaN nAm pUrvadoSh nirAkaraN karanekA hai; parantu ‘‘michchhAmi dukkaDan’’ itanA
kahanese hI to duShkRut mithyA nahIn hote; kiye hue duShkRut mithyA hone yogya pariNAm hone

pAThamen to ‘‘mere tyAg hai’’ aisA vachan hai; isaliye jo tyAg kare usIko pATh paDhanA chAhiye.
yadi pATh na Aye to bhAShAse hI kahe; parantu paddhatike artha yah rIti hai.
tathA pratignA grahaN karane-karAnekI to mukhyatA hai aur yathAvidhi pAlanekI shithilatA
hai, va bhAv nirmal honekA vivek nahIn hai. ArtapariNAmonse va lobhAdikase bhI upavAsAdi

banAkar pUjate hain; chauth, shItalA, dahADI Adi ko pUjate hain; bhUt-pret, pitar, vyantarAdikako

dekho to mithyAtvakI mahimA! lokamen apanese nIcheko naman karanemen apaneko nindya mAnate
hain, aur mohit hokar roDon takako pUjate hue bhI nindyapanA nahIn mAnate. tathA lokamen to
jisase prayojan siddha hotA jAne, usakI sevA karate hain aur mohit hokar ‘‘kudevonse merA
prayojan kaise siddha hogA’’
aisA binA vichAre hI kudevonkA sevan karate hain. tathA kudevonkA
sevan karate hue hajAron vighna hote hain unhen to ginatA nahIn hai aur kisI puNyake udayase
iShTakArya ho jAye to kahatA hai
isake sevanase yah kArya huA. tathA kudevAdikakA sevan
kiye binA jo iShTa kArya hon, unhen to ginatA nahIn hai aur koI aniShTa ho jAye to kahatA
