arthaH – tattvake avalokan (anveShaN) kA jo kAl usame.n samay arthAt shuddhAtmAko
yukti arthAt nay-pramAN dvArA pahale jAne. pashchAt ArAdhanasamay jo anubhavakAl usame.n nay-
pramAN nahI.n hai.n, kyo.nki pratyakSha anubhav hai.
jaise – ratnako kharIdaneme.n anek vikalpa karate hai.n, jab pratyakSha use pahinate hai.n, tab vikalpa
nahI.n hai – pahinanekA sukh hI hai. isaprakAr savikalpake dvArA nirvikalpa anubhav hotA hai.
tathA jo j~nAn pA.Nch indriyo.n va ChaThave.n manake dvArA pravartatA thA, vah j~nAn sab orase

ga.ndh, varNa, shabdako jAne.n, vah yahA.N nahI.n hai; aur manakA dharma yah hai ki anek vikalpa
kare, vah yahA.N nahI.n hai; isaliye yadyapi jo j~nAn indriy – maname.n pravartatA thA, vahI j~nAn anubhavame.n
pravartatA hai; tathApi is j~nAnako atIndriy kahate hai.n.
tathA is svAnubhavako man dvArA huA bhI kahate hai.n, kyo.nki is anubhavame.n matij~nAn-
shrutaj~nAn hI hai.n, anya koI j~nAn nahI.n hai.
