चरति, स खलु स्वकं चरितं चरति । एवं हि शुद्धद्रव्याश्रितमभिन्नसाध्यसाधनभावं निश्चय- नयमाश्रित्य मोक्षमार्गप्ररूपणम् । यत्तु पूर्वमुद्दिष्टं तत्स्वपरप्रत्ययपर्यायाश्रितं भिन्नसाध्य- साधनभावं व्यवहारनयमाश्रित्य प्ररूपितम् । न चैतद्विप्रतिषिद्धं निश्चयव्यवहारयोः साध्यसाधन- भावत्वात्सुवर्णसुवर्णपाषाणवत् । अत एवोभयनयायत्ता पारमेश्वरी तीर्थप्रवर्तनेति ।।१५९।। nayanā āshraye mokṣhamārganun prarūpaṇ karavāmān āvyun. ane je pūrve (107 mī gāthāmān) darshāvavāmān āvyun hatun te 1svaparahetuk paryāyane āshrit, 2bhinnasādhyasādhanabhāvavāḷā vyavahāranayanā āshraye ( – vyavahāranayanī apekṣhāe) prarūpavāmān āvyun hatun. āmān paraspar virodh āve chhe em paṇ nathī, kāraṇ ke suvarṇa ane 3suvarṇapāṣhāṇanī māphak nishchay-vyavahārane sādhya-sādhanapaṇun chhe; tethī ja pārameshvarī ( – jinabhagavānanī) 4tīrtha- pravartanā 5banne nayone ādhīn chhe. 159.

anvayārthaḥ — [ धर्मादिश्रद्धानं सम्यक्त्वम् ] dharmāstikāyādinun shraddhān te samyaktva, [ अङ्गपूर्वगतम् ज्ञानम् ] aṅgapūrvasambandhī gnān te gnān ane [ तपसि चेष्टा चर्या ] tapamān cheṣhṭā ( – pravr̥utti) te chāritra; — [ इति ] e pramāṇe [ व्यवहारः मोक्षमार्गः ] vyavahāramokṣhamārga chhe.
uttaraḥ — jene sinhanun yathārtha svarūp sīdhun samajātun na hoy tene sinhanā svarūpanā upacharit nirūpaṇ dvārā arthāt bilāḍīnā svarūpanā nirūpaṇ dvārā sinhanā yathārtha svarūpanā khyāl taraph dorī javāmān āve chhe, tem jene vastunun yathārtha svarūp sīdhun samajātun na hoy tene vastusvarūpanā upacharit nirūpaṇ dvārā vastusvarūpanā yathārtha khyāl taraph dorī javāmān āve chhe. vaḷī lāmbā kathanane badale saṅkṣhipta kathan karavā māṭe paṇ vyavahāranay dvārā upacharit nirūpaṇ karavāmān āve chhe. ahīn eṭalun lakṣhamān rākhavāyogya chhe ke — je puruṣh bilāḍīnā nirūpaṇane ja sinhanun nirūpaṇ mānī bilāḍīne ja sinh samajī bese te to upadeshane ja yogya nathī, tem je puruṣh upacharit nirūpaṇane ja satyārtha nirūpaṇ mānī vastusvarūpane khoṭī rīte samajī bese te to upadeshane ja yogya nathī.
guṇasthānayogya nirvikalpa shuddha pariṇatinun sādhan chhe’. have, ‘chhaṭhṭhā guṇasthāne kevī athavā keṭalī shuddhi hoy chhe’ — e vātano paṇ sāthe sāthe khyāl karāvavo hoy to, vistārathī em nirūpaṇ karāy ke ‘je shuddhinā sadbhāvamān, tenī sāthe sāthe mahāvratādinā shubh vikalpo haṭh vinā sahajapaṇe vartatā hoy chhe te chhaṭhṭhā guṇasthānayogya shuddhi sātamā guṇasthānayogya nirvikalpa shuddha pariṇatinun sādhan chhe’. āvā lāmbā kathanane badale, em kahevāmān āve ke ‘chhaṭhṭhā guṇasthāne vartatā mahāvratādinā shubh vikalpo sātamā guṇasthānayogya nirvikalpa shuddha pariṇatinun sādhan chhe’, to e upacharit nirūpaṇ chhe. āvā upacharit nirūpaṇamānthī em artha tāravavo joīe ke ‘mahāvratādinā shubh vikalpo nahi paṇ temanā dvārā sūchavavā dhārelī chhaṭhṭhā guṇasthānayogya shuddhi kharekhar sātamā guṇasthānayogya nirvikalpa shuddha pariṇatinun sādhan chhe’.

तत्त्वार्थश्रद्धानभावस्वभावं भावान्तरं श्रद्धानाख्यं सम्यक्त्वं, तत्त्वार्थश्रद्धाननिर्वृत्तौ सत्यामङ्ग- पूर्वगतार्थपरिच्छित्तिर्ज्ञानम्, आचारादिसूत्रप्रपञ्चितविचित्रयतिवृत्तसमस्तसमुदयरूपे तपसि चेष्टा चर्या — इत्येषः स्वपरप्रत्ययपर्यायाश्रितं भिन्नसाध्यसाधनभावं व्यवहारनयमाश्रित्यानुगम्यमानो मोक्षमार्गः कार्तस्वरपाषाणार्पितदीप्तजातवेदोवत्समाहितान्तरङ्गस्य प्रतिपदमुपरितनशुद्धभूमिकासु परमरम्यासु विश्रान्तिमभिन्नां निष्पादयन्, जात्यकार्तस्वरस्येव शुद्धजीवस्य कथञ्चिद्भिन्न- साध्यसाधनभावाभावात्स्वयं शुद्धस्वभावेन विपरिणममानस्यापि, निश्चयमोक्षमार्गस्य साधन- भावमापद्यत इति ।।१६०।।

samyagdarshan-gnān-chāritra te mokṣhamārga chhe. tyān, (chha) dravyarūp ane (nav) padārtharūp jemanā bhedo chhe evān dharmādinā tattvārthashraddhānarūp bhāv ( – dharmāstikāyādinī tattvārthapratītirūp bhāv) jeno svabhāv chhe evo, ‘shraddhān’ nāmano bhāvavisheṣh te samyaktva; tattvārthashraddhānanā sadbhāvamān aṅgapūrvagat padārthonun avabodhan ( – jāṇavun) te gnān; āchārādi sūtro vaḍe kahevāmān āvelā anekavidh muni-āchāronā samasta samudāyarūp tapamān cheṣhṭā ( – pravartan) te chāritra; — āvo ā, svaparahetuk paryāyane āshrit, bhinna- sādhyasādhanabhāvavāḷā vyavahāranayanā āshraye ( – vyavahāranayanī apekṣhāe) anusaravāmān āvato mokṣhamārga, suvarṇapāṣhāṇane lagāḍavāmān āvatā pradīpta agninī māphak, *samāhit antaraṅgavāḷā jīvane (arthāt jenun antaraṅg ekāgra — samādhiprāpta chhe evā jīvane) pade pade param ramya evī uparanī shuddha bhūmikāomān abhinna vishrānti ( – abhedarūp sthiratā) nipajāvato thako — joke uttam suvarṇanī māphak shuddha jīv kathañchit bhinnasādhyasādhanabhāvanā abhāvane līdhe svayam (potānī meḷe) shuddha svabhāve pariṇame chhe topaṇ — nishchayamokṣhamārganā sādhanapaṇāne pāme chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — jene antaraṅgamān shuddhino ansh pariṇamyo chhe te jīvane tattvārthashraddhān, *samāhit = ekāgra; ekatāne pāmel; abhedatāne prāpta; chhinnabhinnatā rahit; samādhiprāpta; shuddha; prashānt.

bhāvārthaḥ — nishchayamokṣhamārga nij shuddhātmānī ruchi, gnapti ane nishchaḷ anubhūtirūp chhe. teno sādhak (arthāt nishchayamokṣhamārganun vyavahārasādhan) evo je bhedaratnatrayātmak vyavahāramokṣhamārga tene jīv kathañchit ( – koī prakāre, nij udyamathī) potānā samvedanamān āvatī avidyānī vāsanānā vilay dvārā pāmyo thako, jyāre guṇasthānarūp sopānanā kram pramāṇe nijashuddhātmadravyanī bhāvanāthī utpanna nityānand- lakṣhaṇavāḷā sukhāmr̥utanā rasāsvādanī tr̥uptirūp param kaḷānā anubhavane līdhe nij- shuddhātmāshrit nishchayadarshanagnānachāritrarūpe abhedapaṇe pariṇame chhe, tyāre nishchayanayathī bhinna sādhya-sādhananā abhāvane līdhe ā ātmā ja mokṣhamārga chhe. māṭe em ṭharyun ke suvarṇa ane suvarṇapāṣhāṇanī māphak nishchayamokṣhamārga ane vyavahāramokṣhamārgane sādhya-sādhakapaṇun (

आत्मना जानाति — स्वपरप्रकाशकत्वेन चेतयते, आत्मना पश्यति — याथातथ्येनावलोकयते, स खल्वात्मैव चारित्रं ज्ञानं दर्शनमिति कर्तृकर्मकरणानामभेदान्निश्चितो भवति ।

अतश्चारित्रज्ञानदर्शनरूपत्वाज्जीवस्वभावनियतचरितत्वलक्षणं निश्चयमोक्षमार्गत्वमात्मनो नितरामुपपन्नमिति ।।१६२।।
abhedane līdhe nishchit chhe. āthī (em nakkī thayun ke) chāritra-gnān-darshanarūp hovāne līdhe ātmāne jīvasvabhāvaniyat chāritra jenun lakṣhaṇ chhe evun nishchayamokṣhamārgapaṇun atyant ghaṭe chhe (arthāt ātmā ja chāritra-gnān-darshan hovāne līdhe ātmā ja gnānadarshanarūp jīvasvabhāvamān draḍhapaṇe rahelun chāritra jenun svarūp chhe evo nishchayamokṣhamārga chhe). 162.
— ā bhāv jāṇe bhavya jīv, abhavya nahi shraddhā lahe. 163.
anvayārthaḥ — [ येन ] jethī (ātmā mukta thatān) [ सर्वं विजानाति ] sarvane jāṇe chhe ane [ पश्यति ] dekhe chhe, [ तेन ] tethī [ सः ] te [ सौख्यम् अनुभवति ] saukhyane anubhave chhe; — [ इति तद् ] ām [ भव्यः जानाति ] bhavya jīv jāṇe chhe, [ अभव्यसत्त्वः न श्रद्धत्ते ] abhavya jīv shraddhato nathī.
ṭīkāḥ — ā, sarva sansārī ātmāo mokṣhamārgane yogya hovānun nirākaraṇ (niṣhedh) chhe.

स्वभावः । तयोर्विषयप्रतिबन्धः प्रातिकूल्यम् । मोक्षे खल्वात्मनः सर्वं विजानतः पश्यतश्च तदभावः । ततस्तद्धेतुकस्यानाकुलत्वलक्षणस्य परमार्थसुखस्य मोक्षेऽनुभूति- रचलिताऽस्ति । इत्येतद्भव्य एव भावतो विजानाति, ततः स एव मोक्षमार्गार्हः । नैतदभव्यः श्रद्धत्ते, ततः स मोक्षमार्गानर्ह एवेति । अतः कतिपये एव संसारिणो मोक्षमार्गार्हा, न सर्व एवेति ।।१६३।।
chhe. mokṣhamān kharekhar ātmā sarvane jāṇato ane dekhato hovāthī teno abhāv hoy chhe (arthāt mokṣhamān svabhāvanī pratikūḷatāno abhāv hoy chhe). tethī 1teno abhāv jenun kāraṇ chhe evā 2anākuḷatālakṣhaṇavāḷā paramārthasukhanī mokṣhamān achalit anubhūti hoy chhe. — ā pramāṇe bhavya jīv ja 3bhāvathī jāṇe chhe, tethī te ja mokṣhamārgane yogya chhe; abhavya jīv e pramāṇe shraddhato nathī, tethī te mokṣhamārgane ayogya ja chhe.
āthī (em kahyun ke) keṭalāk ja sansārīo mokṣhamārgane yogya chhe, badhāy nahi. 163.
— sante kahyun, paṇ hetu chhe e bandhanā vā mokṣhanā. 164.

दर्शनज्ञानचारित्राणां कथञ्चिद्बन्धहेतुत्वोपदर्शनेन जीवस्वभावे नियतचरितस्य साक्षान्मोक्षहेतुत्वद्योतनमेतत् ।
अमूनि हि दर्शनज्ञानचारित्राणि कियन्मात्रयापि परसमयप्रवृत्त्या संवलितानि कृशानुसंवलितानीव घृतानि कथञ्चिद्विरुद्धकारणत्वरूढेर्बन्धकारणान्यपि भवन्ति । यदा तु समस्तपरसमयप्रवृत्तिनिवृत्तिरूपया स्वसमयप्रवृत्त्या सङ्गच्छन्ते, तदा निवृत्तकृशानुसंवलनानीव घृतानि विरुद्धकार्यकारणभावाभावात्साक्षान्मोक्षकारणान्येव kahyun chhe; [ तैः तु ] parantu temanāthī [ बन्धः वा ] bandh paṇ thāy chhe ane [ मोक्षः वा ] mokṣha paṇ thāy chhe.
ṭīkāḥ — ahīn, darshan-gnān-chāritranun kathañchit bandhahetupaṇun darshāvyun chhe ane e rīte jīvasvabhāvamān niyat chāritranun sākṣhāt mokṣhahetupaṇun prakāshit karyun chhe.
ā darshan-gnān-chāritra, jo thoḍī paṇ parasamayapravr̥utti sāthe milit hoy to, agni sāthe milit ghīnī māphak (arthāt 1uṣhṇatāyukta ghīnī jem), kathañchit 2viruddha kāryanā kāraṇapaṇānī vyāptine līdhe bandhakāraṇo paṇ chhe. ane jyāre teo (darshan-gnān- chāritra), samasta parasamayapravr̥uttithī nivr̥uttirūp evī svasamayapravr̥utti sāthe sanyukta hoy chhe tyāre, jene agni sāthenun militapaṇun nivr̥utta thayun chhe evā ghīnī māphak, viruddha kāryano 1. ghī svabhāve shītaḷatānā kāraṇabhūt hovā chhatān, jo te thoḍī paṇ uṣhṇatāthī yukta hoy to,

kāraṇabhāv nivr̥utta thayo hovāne līdhe sākṣhāt mokṣhakāraṇo ja chhe. māṭe ‘svasamayapravr̥utti’ nāmanun je jīvasvabhāvamān niyat chāritra tene sākṣhāt mokṣhamārgapaṇun ghaṭe chhe.1 164.
anvayārthaḥ — [ शुद्धसम्प्रयोगात् ] shuddhasamprayogathī (shubh bhaktibhāvathī) [ दुःखमोक्षः भवति ] duḥkhamokṣha thāy chhe [ इति ] em [ यदि ] jo [ अज्ञानात् ] agnānane līdhe [ ज्ञानी ] gnānī [ मन्यते ] 2māne, to te [ परसमयरतः जीवः ] parasamayarat jīv [ भवति ] chhe. [‘arhantādi pratye bhakti-anurāgavāḷī mandashuddhithī paṇ krame mokṣha thāy chhe’ evun jo agnānane līdhe ( – shuddhātmasamvedananā abhāvane līdhe, rāgānshane līdhe) gnānīne paṇ (mand puruṣhārthavāḷun) valaṇ varte, to tyānsudhī te paṇ sūkṣhma parasamayamān rat chhe.]

शुद्धसम्प्रयोगः । अथ खल्वज्ञानलवावेशाद्यदि यावत् ज्ञानवानपि ततः शुद्धसम्प्रयो- गान्मोक्षो भवतीत्यभिप्रायेण खिद्यमानस्तत्र प्रवर्तते तदा तावत्सोऽपि रागलवसद्भावात्पर- समयरत इत्युपगीयते । अथ न किं पुनर्निरङ्कुशरागकलिकलङ्कितान्तरङ्गवृत्तिरितरो जन इति ।।१६५।।
chittavr̥utti te ahīn ‘shuddhasamprayog’ chhe. have, 1agnānalavanā āveshathī jo gnānavān paṇ ‘te shuddhasamprayogathī mokṣha thāy chhe’ evā abhiprāy vaḍe khed pāmato thako temān (shuddhasamprayogamān) pravarte, to tyānsudhī te paṇ 2rāgalavanā sadbhāvane līdhe 3‘parasamayarat’ kahevāy chhe. to pachhī niraṅkush rāgarūp kleshathī kalaṅkit evī antaraṅg vr̥uttivāḷo itar jan shun parasamayarat na kahevāy? (avashya kahevāy ja.)4 165.

vartato thako sarāg samyagdraṣhṭi chhe; ane jo te puruṣh shuddhātmabhāvanāmān samartha hovā chhatān paṇ,
tene (shuddhātmabhāvanāne) chhoḍīne ‘shubhopayogathī ja mokṣha thāy chhe’ em ekānte māne, to te sthūl
parasamayarūp pariṇām vaḍe agnānī mithyādraṣhṭi thāy chhe.

भोपयोगतामजहत् बहुशः पुण्यं बध्नाति, न खलु सकलकर्मक्षयमारभते । ततः सर्वत्र रागकणिकाऽपि परिहरणीया परसमयप्रवृत्तिनिबन्धनत्वादिति ।।१६६।।
( – arhantādinī pratimā), pravachan ( – shāstra), munigaṇ ane gnān pratye bhaktisampanna jīv [ बहुशः पुण्यं बध्नाति ] ghaṇun puṇya bāndhe chhe, [ न खलु सः कर्मक्षयं करोति ] parantu te kharekhar karmano kṣhay karato nathī.
ṭīkāḥ — ahīn, pūrvokta shuddhasamprayogane 1kathañchit bandhahetupaṇun hovāthī tenun mokṣhamārgapaṇun 2nirasta karyun chhe (arthāt gnānīne vartato shuddhasamprayog nishchayathī bandhahetubhūt hovāne līdhe te mokṣhamārga nathī em ahīn darshāvyun chhe).
arhantādi pratye bhaktisampanna jīv, kathañchit 3‘shuddhasamprayogavāḷo’ hovā chhatān paṇ, 4rāgalav jīvato (vidyamān) hovāthī ‘shubhopayogīpaṇā’ne nahi chhoḍato thako, ghaṇun puṇya bāndhe chhe, parantu kharekhar sakaḷ karmano kṣhay karato nathī. tethī sarvatra rāganī kaṇikā paṇ pariharavāyogya chhe, kem ke te parasamayapravr̥uttinun kāraṇ chhe. 166.

निरुपरागशुद्धस्वरूपं स्वसमयं चेतयते । ततः स्वसमयप्रसिद्धयर्थं पिञ्जनलग्नतूलन्यासन्याय- मधिदधताऽर्हदादिविषयोऽपि क्रमेण रागरेणुरपसारणीय इति ।।१६७।।
anvayārthaḥ — [ यस्य ] jene [ परद्रव्ये ] paradravya pratye [ अणुमात्रः वा ] aṇumātra paṇ (leshamātra paṇ) [ रागः ] rāg [ हृदये विद्यते ] hr̥udayamān varte chhe [ सः ] te, [ सर्वागमधरः अपि ] bhale sarvaāgamadhar hoy topaṇ, [ स्वकस्य समयं न विजानाति ] svakīy samayane jāṇato ( – anubhavato) nathī.
ṭīkāḥ — ahīn, svasamayanī upalabdhinā abhāvano, rāg ek hetu chhe em prakāshyun chhe (arthāt svasamayanī prāptinā abhāvanun rāg ja ek kāraṇ chhe em ahīn darshāvyun chhe).
jene rāgareṇunī kaṇikā paṇ hr̥udayamān jīvatī chhe te, bhale samasta siddhāntasāgarano pāraṅgat hoy topaṇ, 1niruparāg-shuddhasvarūp svasamayane kharekhar chetato ( – anubhavato) nathī. māṭe, ‘2pīñjaṇane choṇṭel rū’no nyāy lāgu paḍato hovāthī, jīve svasamayanī prasiddhi arthe arhantādiviṣhayak paṇ rāgareṇu ( – arhantādi pratyenī paṇ rāgaraj) krame dūr karavāyogya chhe. 167.

सत्यां बुद्धिप्रसरमन्तरेणात्मा न तं कथञ्चनापि धारयितुं शक्यते । बुद्धिप्रसरे च सति शुभस्याशुभस्य वा कर्मणो न निरोधोऽस्ति । ततो रागकलिविलासमूल एवायमनर्थसन्तान इति ।।१६८।।
anvayārthaḥ — [ यस्य ] je [ चित्तोद्भ्रामं विना तु ] (rāganā sadbhāvane līdhe) chittanā bhramaṇ vināno [ आत्मानम् ] potāne [ धर्तुम् न शक्यम् ] rākhī shakato nathī, [ तस्य ] tene [ शुभाशुभकृतस्य कर्मणः ] shubhāshubh karmano [ रोधः न विद्यते ] nirodh nathī.
ṭīkāḥ — ā, rāgalavamūlak doṣhaparamparānun nirūpaṇ chhe (arthāt alpa rāg jenun mūḷ chhe evī doṣhonī santatinun ahīn kathan chhe).
ahīn (ā lokamān) kharekhar arhantādi pratyenī bhakti paṇ rāgapariṇati vinā hotī nathī. rāgādipariṇati hotān, ātmā 1buddhiprasār vināno ( – chittanā bhramaṇathī rahit) potāne koī paṇ rīte rākhī shakato nathī; ane buddhiprasār hotān ( – chittanun bhramaṇ hotān), shubh vā ashubh karmano nirodh hoto nathī. māṭe, ā anarthasantatinun mūḷ rāgarūp kleshano vilās ja chhe.
bhāvārthaḥ — arhantādinī bhakti paṇ rāg vinā hotī nathī. rāgathī chittanun bhramaṇ thāy chhe; chittanā bhramaṇathī karmabandh thāy chhe. māṭe ā anarthonī paramparānun mūḷ kāraṇ rāg ja chhe.2 168. 1. buddhiprasār = vikalpono phelāvo; vikalpavistār; chittanun bhramaṇ; mananun bhaṭakavun te; mananī chañchaḷatā. 2. ā gāthānī shrī jayasenāchāryadevavirachit ṭīkāmān nīche pramāṇe vivaraṇ karavāmān āvyun chheḥ —

rāgādipariṇati hotān chittanun bhramaṇ thāy chhe ane chittanun bhramaṇ hotān karmabandh thāy chhe em (pūrve) kahevāmān āvyun, tethī mokṣhārthīe karmabandhanun mūḷ evun je chittanun bhramaṇ tenā mūḷabhūt rāgādipariṇatino ekānte niḥsheṣh nāsh karavāyogya chhe. teno niḥsheṣh nāsh karavāmān āvatān, jene 2niḥsaṅgatā ane 3nirmamatā prasiddha thaī chhe evo te jīv shuddhātma- 1. niḥsheṣh = sampūrṇa; jarāy bākī na rahe evo. 2. niḥsaṅg ātmatattvathī viparīt evo je bāhya-abhyantar parigrah tenāthī rahit pariṇati te

सिद्धभक्तिमनुबिभ्राणः प्रसिद्धस्वसमयप्रवृत्तिर्भवति । तेन कारणेन स एव निःशेषितकर्मबन्धः सिद्धिमवाप्नोतीति ।।१६९।।
अर्हदादिभक्तिरूपपरसमयप्रवृत्तेः साक्षान्मोक्षहेतुत्वाभावेऽपि परम्परया मोक्षहेतुत्वसद्भाव- द्योतनमेतत् । dravyamān vishrāntirūp pāramārthik siddhabhakti dharato thako 1svasamayapravr̥uttinī prasiddhivāḷo hoy chhe. te kāraṇathī te ja jīv karmabandhano niḥsheṣh nāsh karī siddhine pāme chhe. 169.
anvayārthaḥ — [ संयमतपःसम्प्रयुक्तस्य ] sanyamatapasanyukta hovā chhatān, [ सपदार्थं तीर्थकरम् ] nav padārtho tathā tīrthaṅkar pratye [ अभिगतबुद्धेः ] jenī buddhinun joḍāṇ varte chhe ane [ सूत्ररोचिनः ] sūtro pratye jene ruchi (prīti) varte chhe, te jīvane [ निर्वाणं ] nirvāṇ [ दूरतरम् ] dūratar (visheṣh dūr) chhe.
ṭīkāḥ — ahīn, arhantādinī bhaktirūp parasamayapravr̥uttimān sākṣhāt mokṣhahetupaṇāno abhāv hovā chhatān paramparāe mokṣhahetupaṇāno 2sadbhāv darshāvyo chhe. 1. svasamayapravr̥uttinī prasiddhivāḷo = jene svasamayamān pravr̥utti prasiddha thai chhe evo. [je jīv

je jīv kharekhar mokṣhane arthe udyamī chittavāḷo vartato thako, achintya sanyam- tapabhār samprāpta karyo hovā chhatān paramavairāgyabhūmikānun ārohaṇ karavāmān samartha evī 1prabhushakti utpanna karī nahi hovāthī, ‘pīñjaṇane choṇṭel rū’nā nyāye, nav padārtho tathā arhantādinī ruchirūp (prītirūp) parasamayapravr̥uttino parityāg karī shakato nathī, te jīv kharekhar sākṣhāt mokṣhane prāpta karato nathī parantu devalokādinā kaleshanī prāptirūp paramparā vaḍe tene prāpta kare chhe. 170.

je (jīv) kharekhar arhantādinī bhaktine ādhīn buddhivāḷo vartato thako 1paramasanyamapradhān atitīvra tap tape chhe, te (jīv), mātra teṭalā rāgarūp kleshathī jenun nij antaḥkaraṇ kalaṅkit ( – malin) chhe evo vartato thako, viṣhayaviṣhavr̥ukṣhanā 2āmodathī jyān antaraṅg ( – antaḥkaraṇ) mohit hoy chhe evā svargalokane — ke je sākṣhāt mokṣhane antarāyabhūt chhe tene — samprāpta karīne, suchirakāḷ paryant ( – ghaṇā lāmbā kāḷ sudhī) rāgarūpī aṅgārāothī shekāto thako andaramān santapta ( – duḥkhī, vyathit) thāy chhe. 171.

सङ्गतमग्निमिव सुरलोकादिक्लेशप्राप्त्याऽत्यन्तमन्तर्दाहाय कल्पमानमाकलय्य साक्षान्मोक्षकामो महाजनः समस्तविषयमपि रागमुत्सृज्यात्यन्तवीतरागो भूत्वा समुच्छलज्ज्वलद्दुःखसौख्यकल्लोलं कर्माग्नितप्तकलकलोदभारप्राग्भारभयङ्करं भवसागरमुत्तीर्य, शुद्धस्वरूपपरमामृतसमुद्रमध्यास्य सद्यो निर्वाति ।।
anvayārthaḥ — [ तस्मात् ] tethī [ निर्वृत्तिकामः ] mokṣhābhilāṣhī jīv [ सर्वत्र ] sarvatra [ किञ्चित् रागं ] kiñchit paṇ rāg [ मा करोतु ] na karo; [ तेन ] em karavāthī [ सः भव्यः ] te bhavya jīv [ वीतरागः ] vītarāg thaī [ भवसागरं तरति ] bhavasāgarane tare chhe.
ṭīkāḥ — ā, sākṣhātmokṣhamārganā sār-sūchan dvārā shāstratātparyarūp upasanhār chhe (arthāt ahīn sākṣhātmokṣhamārgano sār sho chhe tenā kathan dvārā shāstranun tātparya kahevārūp upasanhār karyo chhe).
sākṣhātmokṣhamārgamān agresar kharekhar vītarāgapaṇun chhe. tethī kharekhar 1arhantādigat rāgane paṇ, chandanavr̥ukṣhasaṅgat agninī māphak, devalokādinā kleshanī prāpti vaḍe atyant antardāhanun kāraṇ samajīne, sākṣhāt mokṣhano abhilāṣhī mahājan saghaḷāy pratyenā rāgane chhoḍī, atyant vītarāg thaī, jemān baḷabaḷatā duḥkhasukhanā kallolo ūchhaḷe chhe ane je karmāgni vaḍe tapta, kakaḷāṭavāḷā jaḷasamūhanī atishayatāthī bhayaṅkar chhe evā bhavasāgarane pār ūtarī, shuddhasvarūp paramāmr̥utasamudrane avagāhī, shīghra nirvāṇane pāme chhe.
