ih hi darshanamohanīyavipākakaluṣhapariṇāmatā mohaḥ. vichitrachāritramohanīyavipākapratyaye prītyaprītī rāgadveṣhau. tasyaiv mandodaye vishuddhapariṇāmatā chittaprasādapariṇāmaḥ. evamime yasya bhāve bhavanti, tasyāvashyan bhavati shubho‘shubho vā pariṇāmaḥ. tatra yatra prashastarāgashchittaprasādashcha tatra shubhaḥ pariṇāmaḥ, yatra tu mohadveṣhāvaprashastarāgashcha tatrā‘shubh iti.. 131..

suhapariṇāmo puṇṇan asuho pāvan ti havadi jīvassa.
doṇhan poggalametto bhāvo kammattaṇan

yahān̐, darshanamohanīyake vipākase jo kaluṣhit pariṇām vah moh hai; vichitra [–anek prakārake] chāritramohanīyakā vipāk jisakā āshray [–nimitta] hai aisī prīti–aprīti vah rāg–dveṣh hai; usīke [chāritramohanīyake hī] mand udayase honevāle jo vishuddha pariṇām vah 1chittaprasādapariṇām [–manakī prasannatārūp pariṇām] hai. is prakār yah [moh, rāg, dveṣh athavā chittaprasād] jisake bhāvamen hai, use avashya shubh athavā ashubh pariṇām hai. usamen, jahān̐ prashasta rāg tathā chittaprasād hai vahān̐ shubh pariṇām hai aur jahān̐ moh, dveṣh tathā aprashasta rāg hai vahān̐ ashubh pariṇām hai.. 131..

anvayārthaḥ– [jīvasya] jīvake [shubhapariṇāmaḥ] shubh pariṇām [puṇyam] puṇya hain aur [ashubhaḥ] ashubh pariṇām [pāpam iti bhavati] pāp hain; [dvayoḥ] un donoṅke dvārā [pudgalamātraḥ bhāvaḥ] pudgalamātra bhāv [karmatvan prāptaḥ] karmapaneko prāpta hote hain [arthāt jīvake puṇya–pāpabhāvake nimittase sātā–asātāvedanīyādi pudgalamātra pariṇām vyavahārase jīvakā karma kahe jāte hain]. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. prasād = prasannatā; vishuddhatā; ujjvalatā.

jīvasya kartuḥ nishchayakarmatāmāpannaḥ shubhapariṇāmo dravyapuṇyasya nimittamātratven kāraṇī– bhūtatvāttadāsravakṣhaṇādūrdhvan bhavati bhāvapuṇyam. evan jīvasya karturnishchayakarmatāmāpanno‘shubhapariṇāmo dravyapāpasya nimittamātratven kāraṇībhūtatvāttadāsravakṣhaṇādūrdhvan bhāvapāpam. pudgalasya karturnishchayakarmatāmāpanno vishiṣhṭaprakr̥ititvapariṇāmo jīvashubhapariṇāmanimitto dravyapuṇyam. pudgalasya karturnishchayakarmatāmāpanno vishiṣhṭaprakr̥ititvapariṇāmo jīvāshubhapariṇāmanimitto dravyapāpam. evan vyavahāranishchayābhyāmātmano mūrtamamūrtañcha karma pragnāpitamiti.. 132.. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

ṭīkāḥ– yah, puṇya–pāpake svarūpakā kathan hai.

jīvarūp kartāke 1nishchayakarmabhūt shubhapariṇām dravyapuṇyako nimittamātrarūpase kāraṇabhūt hai isaliye

‘dravyapuṇyāsrav’ke prasaṅgakā anusaraṇ karake [–anulakṣha karake] ve shubhapariṇām ‘bhāvapuṇya’ haĩn. [sātāvedanīyādi dravyapuṇyāsravakā jo prasaṅg banatā hai usamen jīvake shubhapariṇām nimittakāraṇ hain isaliye ‘dravyapuṇyāsrav’ prasaṅgake pīchhe–pīchhe usake nimittabhūt shubhapariṇāmako bhī ‘bhāvapuṇya’ aisā nām hai.] is prakār jīvarūp kartāke nishchayakarmabhūt ashubhapariṇām dravyapāpako nimittamātrarūpase kāraṇabhūt hain isaliye ‘dravyapāpāsrav’ke prasaṅgakā anusaraṇ karake [–anulakṣha karake] ve ashubhapariṇām ‘bhāvapāp’ haĩn.

pudgalarūp kartāke 2nishchayakarmabhūt vishiṣhṭaprakr̥itirūp pariṇām [–sātāvedanīyādi khās

prakr̥itirūp pariṇām]–ki jinamen jīvake shubhapariṇām nimitta hain ve–dravyapuṇya haĩn. pudgalarūp kartāke nishchayakarmabhūt vishiṣhṭaprakr̥itirūp pariṇām [–asātāvedanīyādi khās prakr̥itirūp pariṇām] – ki jinamen jīvake ashubhapariṇām nimitta hain ve–dravyapāp haĩn.

mūrtakarmasamarthanametat.

yato hi karmaṇān phalabhūtaḥ sukhaduḥkhahetuviṣhayo mūrto mūrtairindriyairjīven niyatan bhujyate, tataḥ karmaṇān mūrtatvamanumīyate. tathā hi–mūrtan karma, mūrtasambandhenānubhūyamānamūrtaphalatvādākhu–viṣhavaditi.. 133.. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

bhāvārthaḥ– nishchayase jīvake amūrta shubhāshubhapariṇāmarūp bhāvapuṇyapāp jīvakā karma hai. shubhāshubhapariṇām dravyapuṇyapāpakā nimittakāraṇ honake kāraṇ mūrta aise ve pudgalapariṇāmarūp [sātā– asātāvedanīyādi] dravyapuṇyapāp vyavahārase jīvakā karma kahe jāte haĩn.. 132..

gāthā 133

anvayārthaḥ– [yasmāt] kyoṅki [karmaṇaḥ phalan] karmakā phal [viṣhayaḥ] jo [mūrta] viṣhay ve [niyatam] niyamase [sparshaiḥ] [mūrta aisī] sparshanādi–indriyon dvārā [jīven] jīvase [sukhan duḥkhan] sukharūpase athavā duḥkharūpase [bhujyate] bhoge jāte hain, [tasmāt] isaliye [karmāṇi] karma [mūrtāni] mūrta haĩn.

ṭīkāḥ– yah, mūrta karmakā samarthan hai.

karmakā phal jo sukh–duḥkhake hetubhūt mūrta viṣhay ve niyamase mūrta indriyonn dvārā jīvase bhoge jāte hain, isaliye karmake mūrtapanekā anumān ho sakatā hai. vah is prakāraḥ– jis prakār mūṣhakaviṣh mūrta hai usī prakār karma mūrta hai, kyoṅki [mūṣhakaviṣhake phalakī bhān̐ti] mūrtake sambandha dvārā anubhavamen ānevālā aisā mūrta usakā phal hai. ih hi sansāriṇi jīve‘nādisantānen pravr̥uttamāste mūrtakarma. tatsparshādimattvādāgāmi

gāthā 134

anvayārthaḥ– [mūrtaḥ mūrtan spr̥ushati] mūrta mūrtako sparsha karatā hai, [mūrtaḥ mūrten] mūrta mūrtake sāth

[bandham anubhavati] bandhako prāpta hotā hai; [mūrtivirahitaḥ jīvaḥ] mūrtatvarahit jīv [tāni gāhati] mūrtakarmoṅko avagāhatā hai aur [taiḥ avagāhyate] mūrtakarma jīvako avagāhate hain [arthāt donon ekadūsaremen avagāh prāpta karate hain].

ṭīkāḥ– yah, mūrtakarmakā mūrtakarmake sāth jo bandhaprakār tathā amūrta jīvakā mūrtakarmake sāth jo bandhaprakār usakī sūchanā hai.

yahān̐ [is lokamen], sansārī jīvamen anādi santatise [–pravāhase] pravartatā huā mūrtakarma vidyamān hai. vah, sparshādivālā honeke kāraṇ, āgāmī mūrtakarmako sparsha karatā hai; isaliye mūrta aisā vah vah usake sāth, snigdhatvaguṇake vash [–apane snigdharūkṣhatvaparyāyake kāraṇ], bandhako prāpta hotā hai. yah, mūrtakarmakā mūrtakarmake sāth bandhaprakār hai. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

rāgo jassa pasattho aṇukampāsansido ya pariṇāmo.
chittamhi ṇatthi kalusan puṇṇan jīvassa āsavadi.. 135..

rāgo yasya prashasto‘nukampāsanshritashcha pariṇāmaḥ.
chitte nāsti kāluṣhyan puṇyan jīvasyāsravati.. 135..

punashcha [amūrta jīvakā mūrtakarmoṅke sāth bandhaprakār is prakār hai ki], nishchayanayase jo amūrta hai aisā jīv, anādi mūrtakarma jisakā nimitta hai aise rāgādipariṇām dvārā snigdha vartatā huā, mūrtakarmoṅko vishiṣhṭarūpase avagāhatā hai [arthāt ek–dūsareko pariṇāmamen nimittamātra hon aise sambandhavisheṣh sahit mūrtakarmoṅke kṣhetramen vyāpta hotā hai] aur us rāgādipariṇāmake nimittase jo apane [gnānāvaraṇādi] pariṇāmako prāpta hote hain aise mūrtakarma bhī jīvako vishiṣhṭarūpase avagāhate hain [arthāt jīvake pradeshoṅke sāth vishiṣhṭatāpūrvak ekakṣhetrāvagāhako prāpta hote hain]. yah, jīv aur mūrtakarmakā anyonya–avagāhasvarūp bandhaprakār hai. is prakār amūrta aise jīvakā bhī mūrta puṇyapāpakarmake sāth kathañchit [–kisī prakār] bandha virodhako prāpta nahīn hotā.. 134..

is prakār puṇya–pāpapadārthakā vyākhyān samāpta huā.

ab āsravapadārthakā vyākhyān hai.
gāthā 135

anvayārthaḥ– [yasya] jis jīvako [prashastaḥ rāgaḥ] prashasta rāg hai, [anukampāsanshritaḥ pariṇāmaḥ] anukampāyukta pariṇām haie [cha] aur [chitte kāluṣhyan na asti] chittamen kaluṣhatākā abhāv hai, [jīvasya] us jīvako [puṇyam āsravati] puṇya āsravit hotā hai. --------------------------------------------------------------------------

chhe rāgabhāv prashasta, anukampāsahit pariṇām chhe,
manamān nahīn kāluṣhya chhe, tyān puṇya–āsrav hoy chhe. 135.

anugamanamapi gurūṇān prashastarāg iti bruvanti.. 136..

anvayārthaḥ– [arhatsiddhasādhuṣhu bhaktiḥ] arhanta–siddha–sādhuoṅke prati bhakti, [dharma yā cha khalu

cheṣhṭā] dharmamen yathārthatayā cheṣhṭā [anugamanam api gurūṇām] aur guruoṅkā anugaman, [prashastarāgaḥ iti bruvanti] vah ‘prashasta rāg’ kahalātā hai. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. sātāvedanīyādi pudgalapariṇāmarūp dravyapuṇyāsravakā jo prasaṅga banatā hai usamen jīvake prashasta rāgādi shubh bhāv

arhatsiddhasādhuṣhu bhaktiḥ, dharme vyavahārachāritrānuṣhṭhāne vāsanāpradhānā cheṣhṭā, -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

ṭīkāḥ– yah, prashasta rāgake svarūpakā kathan hai.

1arhanta–siddha–sādhuoṅke prati bhakti, dharmamen–vyavahārachāritrake 2anuṣhṭhānamen– 3bhāvanāpradhān cheṣhṭā aur guruoṅkā–āchāryādikā–rasikabhāvase 4anugaman, yah ‘prashasta rāg’ hai kyoṅki usakā viṣhay prashasta hai. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. arhanta–siddha–sādhuommen arhanta, siddha, āchārya, upādhyāy aur sādhu pān̐choṅkā samāvesh ho jātā hai kyoṅki

‘sādhuon’men āchārya, upādhyāy aur sādhu tīnakā samāvesh hotā hai.

[nirdoṣh paramātmāse pratipakṣhabhūt aise ārta–raudradhyānon dvārā upārjit jo gnānāvaraṇādi prakr̥itiyān̐ unakā,
rāgādivikalparahit dharma–shukladhyānon dvārā vināsh karake, jo kṣhudhādi aṭhārah doṣh rahit aur kevalagnānādi
ananta chatuṣhṭay sahit hue, ve arhanta kahalāte haĩn.

laukik añjanasiddha ādise vilakṣhaṇ aise jo gnānāvaraṇādi–aṣhṭakarmake abhāvase samyaktvādi–aṣhṭaguṇātmak
hain aur lokāgramen basate hain, ve siddha haĩn.

vishuddha gnānadarshan jisakā svabhāv hai aise ātmatattvakī nishchayaruchi, vaisī hī gnapti, vaisī hī nishchal–
anubhūti, paradravyakī ichchhāke parihārapūrvak usī ātmadravyamen pratapan arthāt tapashcharaṇ aur svashaktiko gope
binā vaisā hī anuṣhṭhān–aise nishchayapañchāchārako tathā usake sādhak vyavahārapañchāchārako–ki jisakī vidhi
āchārādishāstrommen kahī hai usee–arthāt ubhay āchārako jo svayam ācharate hai aur dūsaroṅko usakā ācharaṇ
karāte hain, ve āchārya haĩn.

pān̐ch astikāyommen jīvāstikāyako, chhah dravyommen shuddhajīvadravyako, sāt tattvomen shuddhajīvatattvako aur nav
padārthommen shuddhajīvapadāthakoe jo nishchayanayase upādey kahate hain tathā bhedābhedaratnatrayasvarūp mokṣhamārgakī prarūpaṇā
karate hain aur svayam bhāte [–anubhav karate ] hain, ve upādhyāy haĩn.

nishchay–chaturvidh–ārādhanā dvārā jo shuddha ātmasvarūpakī sādhanā karate hain, ve sādhu haĩn.] 2. anuṣhṭhān = ācharaṇ; ācharanā; amalamen lānā. 3. bhāvanāpradhān cheṣhṭā = bhāvapradhān pravr̥utti; shubhabhāvapradhān vyāpāra. 4. anugaman = anusaraṇ; āgnāṅkitapanā; anukūl vartana. tisidan va bhukkhidan vā duhidan daṭṭhūṇ jo du duhidamaṇo.
paḍivajjadi tan kivayā tassesā hodi
aṇukampā.. 137..

tr̥uṣhitan bubhukṣhitan vā duḥkhitan draṣhṭavā yastu duḥkhitamanāḥ.
pratipadyate tan kr̥upayā tasyaiṣhā bhavatyanukampā.. 137..

agnānīko hotā hai; uchcha bhūmikāmen [–uparake guṇasthānommen] sthiti prāpta na kī ho tab, 2asthānakā rāg rokaneke hetu athavā tīvra rāgajvar haṭhāneke hetu, kadāchit gnānīko bhī hotā hai.. 136..

gāthā 137

anvayārthaḥ– [tr̥uṣhitan] tr̥uṣhātur, [bubhukṣhitan] kṣhudhātur [vā] athavā [duḥkhitan] duḥkhīko [draṣhṭavā]

dekhakar [yaḥ tu] jo jīv [duḥkhitamanāḥ] manamen duḥkh pātā huā [tan kr̥upayā pratipadyate] usake prati karuṇāse vartatā hai, [tasya eṣhā anukampā bhavati] usakā vah bhāv anukampā hai.

ṭīkāḥ– yah, anukampāke svarūpakā kathan hai.

kisī tr̥uṣhādiduḥkhase pīṛit prāṇīko dekhakar karuṇāke kāraṇ usakā pratikār [–upāy] karane kī ichchhāse chittamen ākulatā honā vah agnānīkī anukampā hai. gnānīkī anukampā to, nīchalī bhūmikāmen viharate hue [–svayam nīchale guṇasthānommen vartatā ho tab], janmārṇavamen nimagna jagatake ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. agnānīkā lakṣhya [–dhyey] sthūl hotā hai isaliye use keval bhaktikī hī pradhānatā hotī hai. 2. asthānakā = ayogya sthānakā, ayogya viṣhayakī orakā ; ayogya padārthoṅkā avalamban lene vālā.

anvayārthaḥ– [yadā] jab [krodhaḥ vā] krodh, [mānaḥ] mān, [māyā] māyā [vā] athavā [lobhaḥ] lobh [chittam āsādya] chittakā āshray pākar [jīvasya] jīvako [kṣhobhan karoti] kṣhobh karate haiain, tab [tan] use [budhāḥ] gnānī [kāluṣhyam iti cha bruvanti] ‘kaluṣhatā’ kahate haĩn.

ṭīkāḥ– pāpake anantar honesee, pāpake hī samvarakā yah kathan hai [arthāt pāpake kathanake pashchāt turanta honesee, yahān̐ pāpake hī samvarakā kathan kiyā gayā hai].

mārga vāstavamen samvar hai; usake nimittase [–usake liye] indriyon, kaṣhāyon tathā sañgnāoṅkā jitane anshamen athavā jitane kāl nigrah kiyā jātā hai, utane anshamen athavā utane kāl pāpāsravadvārā bandha hotā hai.

ṭīkāḥ– yah, visheṣharūpase samvarakā svarūpakā kathan hai.

jis yogīko, virat arthāt sarvathā nivr̥utta vartate hue, yogamen–vachan, man aur kāyasambandhī kriyāmenn–shubhapariṇāmarūp puṇya aur ashubhapariṇāmarūp pāp jab nahīn hote, tab use shubhāshubhabhāvakr̥ut dravyakarmakā [–shubhāshubhabhāv jisakā nimitta hotā hai aise dravyakarmakā], svakāraṇake abhāvake kāraṇ samvar hotā hai. isaliye yahān̐ [is gāthāmen] shubhāshubh pariṇāmakā nirodh–bhāvapuṇyapāpasamvar– dravyapuṇyapāpasamvarakā pradhān hetu avadhāranā [–samajhanā].. 143..

is prakār samvarapadārthakā vyākhyān samāpta huā. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- pradhān hetu = mukhya nimitta. [dravyasamvaramen ‘mukhya nimitta’ jīvake shubhāshubh pariṇāmakā nirodh hai. yogakā nirodh nahīn hai. [ yahān̐ yah dhyān rakhane yogya hai ki dravyasamvarakā upādān kāraṇ– nishchay kāraṇ to pudgal svayam hī hai.]

jīv [bahuvidhaiḥ tapobhiḥ cheṣhṭate] bahuvidh tapon sahit pravartatā hai, [saḥ] vah [niyatam] niyamase [bahukānām karmaṇām] anek karmoṅkī [nirjaraṇan karoti] nirjarā karatā hai.

ṭīkāḥ– yah, nirjarāke svarūpakā kathan hai.

samvar arthāt shubhāshubh pariṇāmakā nirodh, aur yog arthāt shuddhopayog; unase [–samvar aur yogase] yukta aisā jo [puruṣh], anashan, avamaudarya, vr̥uttiparisaṅkhyān, rasaparityāg, viviktashayyāsan tathā kāyakleshādi bhedomvāle bahiraṅg tapon sahit aur prāyashchitta, vinay, vaiyāvr̥uttya, svādhyāy, vyutsarga aur dhyān aise bhedomvāle antaraṅg tapon sahit–is prakār bahuvidh 1tapon sahit -------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. jis jīvako sahajashuddhasvarūpake pratapanarūp nishchay–tap ho us jīvake, haṭh rahit vartate hue anashanādisambandhī bhāvoṅko tap kahā jātā hai.
usamen vartatā huā shuddhirūp ansh vah nishchay–tap hai aur
shubhapanerūp anshako vyavahār–tap kahā jātā hai. [mithyādraṣhṭiko nishchay–
tap nahīn hai isaliye usake anashanādisambandhī shubh bhāvoṅko vyavahār–tap bhī nahīn kahā jātā ; kyoṅki jahān̐
yathārtha tapakā sadbhāv hī nahīn hai, vahān̐ un shubh bhāvommen ārop kisakā kiyā jāve?]

je yog–samvarayukta jīv bahuvidh tapo sah pariṇame,

yaḥ samvareṇ yuktaḥ ātmārthaprasādhako hyātmānam.
gnātvā dhyāyati niyatan gnānan sa sandhunoti karmarajaḥ.. 145..

bhān̐ti–pūrvopārjit karmarajako khirā detī hai. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. vyāvr̥utta honā = nivartanā; nivr̥utta honā; vimukh honā. 2. man = mati; buddhi; bhāv; pariṇāma. 3. udyat honā = tatpar honā ; laganā; udyamavant honā ; muṛạnā; ḍhalanā. 4. guṇī aur guṇamen vastu–apekṣhāse abhed hai isaliye ātmā kaho yā gnān kaho–donon ek hī haĩn. upar jisakā

‘ātmā’ shabdase kathan kiyā thā usīkā yahān̐ ‘gnān’shabdase kathan kiyā hai. us gnānamen–nijātmāmen–
nijātmā dvārā nishchal pariṇati karake usakā sañchetan–samvedan–anubhavan karanā so dhyān hai.

5. niḥsneh = sneh rahit; moharāgadveṣh rahita. 6. sneh = tel; chikanā padārtha; snigdhatā; chikanāpana.

dhyānasvarūpābhidhānametat.

shuddhasvarūpe‘vichalitachaitanyavr̥uttirhi dhyānam. athāsyātmalābhavidhirabhidhīyate. yadā khalu yogī darshanachāritramohanīyavipākan pudgalakarmatvāt karmasu sanhr̥utya, tadanuvr̥utteḥ vyāvr̥uttyopayogam– muhyantamarajyantamadviṣhantan chātyantashuddha evātmani niṣhkampan -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

isase [–is gāthāse] aisā darshāyā ki nirjarākā mukhya hetu 1dhyān hai.. 145..

anvayārthaḥ– [yasya] jise [mohaḥ rāgaḥ dveṣhaḥ] moh aur rāgadveṣh [na vidyate] nahīn hai [vā] tathā [yogaparikarma] yogoṅkā sevan nahīn hai [arthāt man–vachan–kāyāke prati upekṣhā hai], [tasya] use [shubhāshubhadahanaḥ] shubhāshubhako jalānevālī [dhyānamayaḥ agniḥ] dhyānamay agni [jāyate] pragaṭ hotī hai.

ṭīkāḥ– yah, dhyānake svarūpakā kathan hai.

shuddha svarūpamen avichalit chaitanyapariṇati so vāstavamen dhyān hai. vah dhyān pragaṭ honekī vidhi ab kahī jātī hai; jab vāstavamen yogī, darshanamohanīy aur chāritramohanīyakā vipāk pudgalakarma honese us vipākako [apanese bhinna aise achetan] karmommen sameṭakar, tadanusār pariṇatise upayogako vyavr̥utta karake [–us vipākake anurūp pariṇamanamense upayogakā nivartan karake], mohī, rāgī aur dveṣhī na honevāle aise us upayogako atyanta shuddha ātmāmen hī niṣhkamparūpase līn karatā ------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. yah dhyān shuddhabhāvarūp hai.

nahi rāgadveṣhavimoh ne nahi yogasevan jehane,

niveshayati, tadāsya niṣhkriyachaitanyarūpasvarūpavishrāntasya vāṅmanaḥkāyānabhāvayataḥ svakarmasva– vyāpārayataḥ sakalashubhāshubhakarmendhanadahanasamarthatvāt agnikalpan paramapuruṣhārthasiddhayupāyabhūtan dhyānan jāyate iti. tathā choktam– ‘‘ajja vi tirayaṇasuddhā appā jhāevi lahai indattan. loyantiyadevattan tattha chuā ṇivvudin janti’’.. ‘‘anto ṇatthi suīṇan kālo thoo vayan cha dummehā. taṇṇavari sikkhiyavvan jan jaramaraṇan khayan kuṇaī’’.. 146.. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- hai, tab us yogīko– jo ki apane niṣhkriy chaitanyarūp svarūpamen vishrānta hai, vachan–man–kāyāko nahīn 1bhātā aur svakarmomen 2vyāpār nahīn karatā use– sakal shubhāshubh karmarūp īndhanako jalānemen samartha honese agnisamān aisā, 3paramapuruṣhārthasiddhike upāyabhūt dhyān pragaṭ hotā hai.

phir kahā hai ki –
‘ajja vi tirayaṇasuddhā appā jhāevi lahai indatan.
loyantiyadevattan tattha chuā ṇivvr̥urdi janti..
‘anto ṇatthi suīṇan kālo thoo vayan cha dummehā.
taṇṇavari sikkhiyavvan jan jaramaraṇan khayan kuṇai..

[arthaḥ– is samay bhī triratnashuddha jīv [– is kāl bhī samyagdarshanagnānachāritrarūp tīn ratnonse shuddha aise muni] ātmākā dhyān karake indrapanā tathā laukāntik–devapanā prāpta karate hain aur vahān̐ se chay kar [manuṣhyabhav prāpta karake] nirvāṇako prāpta karate haĩn.

shrutioṅkā anta nahīn hai [–shāstroṅkā pār nahīn hai], kāl alpa hai aur ham 1durmedh hain;

isaliye vahī keval sīkhane yogya hai ki jo jarā–maraṇakā kṣhay kare.] ------------------------------------------------------------------------- in do uddhavat gāthāommense pahalī gāthā shrīmadbhagavatkundakundāchāryadevapraṇīt mokṣhaprābhr̥utakī hai. 1. bhānā = chintavan karanā; dhyānā; anubhav karanā. 2. vyāpār = pravr̥utti [svarūpavishrānta yogīko apane pūrvopārjit karmommen pravartan nahīn hai, kyoṅki vah mohanīyakarmake
