
śrutajñānamev kuśrutajñānam, mithyādarśanodayasahacaritamavadhijñānamev vibhaṅgajñānamiti svarūpābhidhānam.
itthaṁ matijñānādijñānopayogāṣṭakaṁ vyākhyātam.. 41..
ābhinibodhikajñān hī kumatijñān hai, [7] mithyādarśanake udayake sāthakā śrutajñān hī kuśrutajñān hai,
[8] mithyādarśanake udayake sāthakā avadhijñān hī vibhaṁgajñān hai. – is prakār [jñānopayogake
bhedoṁke] svarūpakā kathan hai.
niścayanayase akhaṇḍa–ek–viśuddhajñānamay aisā yah ātmā vyavahāranayase saṁsārāvasthāmeṁ karmāvr̥tta
vikalparūpase jo jānatā hai vah matijñān hai. vah tīn prakārakā haiḥ upalabdhirūp, bhāvanārūp aur
upayogarūpa. matijñānāvaraṇake kṣayopaśamase janit arthagrahaṇaśakti [–padārthako jānanekī śakti] vah
upalabdhi hai, jāne hue padārthakā punaḥ punaḥ ciṁtan vah bhāvanā hai aur ‘yah kālā hai,’ ‘yah pīlā hai
’ ityādirūpase arthagrahaṇavyāpār [–padārthako jānanekā vyāpār] vah upayog hai. usī prakār vah
[matijñān] avagrah, īhā, avāy aur dhāraṇārūp bhedoṁ dvārā athavā koṣṭhabuddhi, bījabuddhi,
padānusārībuddhi tathā saṁbhinnaśrotr̥tābuddhi aise bhedoṁ dvārā cār prakārakā hai. [yahān̐, aisā tātparya grahaṇ
karanā cāhiye ki nirvikār śuddha anubhūtike prati abhimukh jo matijñān vahī upādeyabhūt ananta
sukhakā sādhak honese niścayase upādey hai, usake sādhanabhūt bahiraṁg matijñān to vyavahārase upādey
hai.]
