
tatra jīvāḥ pudgalāḥ dharmādharmau ākāśamiti teṣāṁ viśeṣasaṁjñā anvarthāḥ pratyeyāḥ.
vasthitatvādavaseyam. astitve niyatānāmapi na teṣāmanyamayatvam, yataste sarvadaivānanya–mayā
ātmanirvr̥ttāḥ. ananyamayatve‘pi teṣāmastitvaniyatatvaṁ nayaprayogāt. dvau hi nayau bhagavatā praṇītau–
dravyārthikaḥ paryāyārthikaśca. tatra na khalvekanayāyattādeśanā kintu tadubhayāyatā. tataḥ
paryāyārthādeśādastitve svataḥ kathaṁcidbhinna‘pi vyavasthitāḥ dravyārthādeśātsvayamev santaḥ sato‘nanyamayā
bhavantīti. kāyatvamapi teṣāmaṇumahattvāt. aṇavo‘tra pradeśā mūrto‘mūrtāśca nirvibhāgāṁśāstaiḥ
mahānto‘ṇumahāntaḥ pradeśapracayātmakā iti siddhaṁ teṣāṁ kāyatvam. aṇubhyāṁ. mahānta itiḥ vyatpattyā
ṭīkāḥ– yahān̐ [is gāthāmeṁ] pān̐c astikāyoṁkī viśeṣasaṁjñā, sāmānya viśeṣ–astitva tathā
[jisaprakār bartanameṁ rahanevālā ghī bartanase anyamay hai usīprakār] astitvase anyamay nahīṁ hai;
kyoṁki ve sadaiv apanese niṣpanna [arthāt apanese sat] honeke kāraṇ [astitvase] ananyamay hai
[jisaprakār agni uṣṇatāse ananyamay hai usīprakār]. ‘astitvase ananyamay’ hone par bhī unakā
‘astitvameṁ niyatapanā’ nayaprayogase hai. bhagavānane do nay kahe hai – dravyārthik aur paryāyārthika. vahān̐
kathan ek nayake ādhīn nahīṁ hotā kintu un donoṁ nayoṁke ādhīn hotā hai. isaliye ve
paryāyārthik kathanase jo apanese kathaṁcit bhinna bhī hai aise astitvameṁ vyavasthit [niścit sthit] haiṁ
aur dravyārthik kathanase svayamev sat [–vidyamān] honeke kāraṇ astitvase ananyamay haiṁ.
