bhāvārthaḥ– jīvako dhrauvya apekṣhāse satkā vināsh aur asatkā utpād nahīn hai. ‘manuṣhya maratā hai aur dev janmatā hai’ –aisā jo kahā jātā hai vah bāt bhī uparyukta vivaraṇake sāth virodhako prāpta nahīn hotī. jisaprakār ek baḍẹ bān̐sakī anek poren apane–apane sthānommen vidyamān hain aur dūsarī poroṅke sthānommen avidyamān hain tathā bān̐s to sarva poroṅke sthānommen anvayarūpase vidyamān hone par bhī prathamādi porake rūpamen dvitīyādi poramen na honese avidyamān bhī kahā jātā hai; usīprakār trikāl–avasthāyī ek jīvakī naranārakādi anek paryāyen apane–apane kālamen vidyamān hain aur dūsarī paryāyoṅke kālamen avidyamān hain tathā jīv to sarva paryāyommen anvayarūpase vidyamān hone par bhī manuṣhyādiparyāyarūpase devādiparyāyamen na honese avidyamān bhī kahā jātā hai.. 19..
anvayārthaḥ– [gnānāvaraṇādyāḥ bhāvāḥ] gnānāvaraṇādi bhāv [jīven] jīvake sāth [suṣhṭhu] bhalī bhān̐ti [anubaddhāḥ] anubaddha hai; [teṣhām abhāvan kr̥utvā] unakā abhāv karake vah [abhūtapūrvaḥ siddhaḥ] abhūtapūrva siddha [bhavati] hotā hai.
ṭīkāḥ– yahān̐ siddhako atyanta asat–utpādakā niṣhedh kiyā hai. [arthāt siddhatva honese sarvathā asatkā utpād nahīn hotā aisā kahā hai].
