chandranī andar rāhu āve chhe ane te ek ek divase ek ek kaḷāne roke chhe; vaḷī chandra vādaḷothī āchchhādit thāy chhe. bhagavān ātmāmān tene rokavāvāḷo koī rāhu chhe nahi, tathā te koīthī āchchhādit thato nathī. māṭe chandramānī upamā tene lāgu paḍatī nathī.
vaḷī, ‘समन्तात् ज्वलतु’ kahyun chhe te sarva kṣhetre tathā sarva kāḷe prakāsh karavānun jaṇāve chhe; chandramā āvo nathī.
ahā! traṇ kāḷ traṇ lokane jāṇe evo ātmāno prakāsh chhe; jyāre chandrano prakāsh to thoḍo kāḷ ane thoḍā kṣhetramān ja hoy chhe. ā pramāṇe chandra sāthe bhagavān ātmānī upamā lāgu paḍatī nathī.
ā kāvyamān ṭīkākār āchāryadeve ‘amr̥utachandra’ evun potānun nām paṇ jaṇāvyun chhe. samās palaṭīne artha karatān ‘amr̥utachandra’nā ane ‘amr̥utachandrajyoti’nā anek artho thāy chhe te yathāsambhav jāṇavā.
have shrīmān amr̥utachandra āchāryadev be kāvyo kahīne ā samayasārashāstranī ātmakhyāti nāmanī ṭīkā pūrṇa kare chhe.
‘agnānadashāmān ātmā svarūpane bhūlīne rāgadveṣhamān vartato hato, paradravyanī kriyāno kartā thato hato,– kriyānā phaḷano bhoktā thato hato,–ityādi bhāvo karato hato; parantu have gnānadashāmān te bhāvo kāni ja nathī ja em anubhavāy chhe.’–āvā arthanun kāvya pratham kahe chheḥ–
रागद्वेषपरिग्रहे सति यतो जातं क्रियाकारकैः।
भुञ्जाना च यतोऽनुभूतिरखिलं खिन्ना क्रियायाः फलं
shlokārthaḥ– [यस्मात्] jenāthī (arthāt je parasanyogarūp bandhaparyāyajanit agnānathī) [पुरा] pratham [स्व–परयोः द्वैतम् अभूत्] potānun ane paranun dvait thayun (arthāt potānā ane paranā bheḷaseḷapaṇārūp bhāv thayo), [यतः अत्र अन्तरं भूतं] dvaitapaṇun thatān jenāthī svarūpamān antar paḍayun (arthāt bandhaparyāy ja potārūp jaṇāyo, [यतः राग–द्वेष–परिग्रहे सति] svarūpamān antar paḍatān jenāthī rāgadveṣhanun grahaṇ thayun, [क्रिया–कारकैः जातं] rāgadveṣhanun grahaṇ thatān jenāthī kriyānā kārako utpanna thayā (arthāt kriyāno ane kartā–karma ādi kārakono bhed paḍayo), [यतः च अनुभूतिः क्रियायाः अखिलं फलं भुञ्जाना खिन्ना] kārako utpanna thatān jenāthī anubhūti kriyānā samasta phaḷane bhogavatī thakī khinna thaī (–khed pāmī), [तत् विज्ञान–घन–ओघ–मग्नम्] te agnān have vignānaghananā oghamān magna thayun (arthāt gnānarūpe pariṇamyun) [अधुना किल किञ्चित् न किञ्चित्] tethī have te badhun kharekhar kāī ja nathī.
bhāvārthaḥ– parasanyogathī gnān ja agnānarūpe pariṇamyun hatun, agnān kāī judī vastu nahotī; māṭe have jyān te gnānarūpe pariṇamyun tyān te (agnān) kāī ja na rahyun, agnānanā nimitte rāg, dveṣh, kriyānun kartāpaṇun, kriyānā phaḷanun (–sukhaduḥkhanun) bhoktāpaṇun ityādi bhāvo thatā hatā te paṇ vilay pāmyā; ek gnān ja rahī gayun. māṭe have ātmā sva–paranā traṇakāḷavartī bhāvone gnātā–draṣhṭā thaīne jāṇyā–dekhyā ja karo. 277.
