vijjadi tassev puṇo ṭhidisaṁbhavaṇāsasamavāo ..17.. kevalajñānotpattiprastāve yato bhinnakārakaṁ nāpekṣate tataḥ svayaṁbhūrbhavatīti bhāvārthaḥ ..16.. evaṁ sarvajñamukhyatven prathamagāthā . svayaṁbhūmukhyatven dvitīyā ceti prathamasthale gāthādvayaṁ gatam .. athāsya bhagavato dravyārthikanayen nityatve‘pi paryāyārthikanayenānityatvamupadiśati — bhaṁgavihūṇo ya bhavo bhaṅga- vihīnaśca bhavaḥ jīvitamaraṇādisamatābhāvalakṣaṇaparamopekṣāsaṁyamarūpaśuddhopayogenotpanno yo‘sau bhavaḥ kevalajñānotpādaḥ . sa kiṁviśiṣṭaḥ . bhaṅgavihino vināśarahitaḥ . saṁbhavaparivajjido viṇāso tti saṁbhavaparivarjito vināś iti . yo‘sau mithyātvarāgādisaṁsaraṇarūpasaṁsāraparyāyasya vināśaḥ . sa sahāyatā nahīṁ kar sakatī . isaliye kevalajñān prāptike icchuk ātmāko bāhya sāmagrīkī apekṣā rakhakar parataṁtra honā nirarthak hai . śuddhopayogameṁ līn ātmā svayaṁ hī chah kārakarūp hokar kevalajñān prāpta karatā hai . vah ātmā svayaṁ anantaśaktivān jñāyakasvabhāvase svatantra hai isalie svayaṁ hī kartā hai; svayaṁ anantaśaktivāle kevalajñānako prāpta karanese kevalajñān karma hai, athavā kevalajñānase svayaṁ abhinna honese ātmā svayaṁ hī karma hai; apane ananta śaktivāle pariṇaman svabhāvarūp utkr̥ṣṭa sādhanase kevalajñānako pragaṭ karatā hai, isaliye ātmā svayaṁ hī karaṇ hai; apaneko hī kevalajñān detā hai, isaliye ātmā svayaṁ hī sampradān hai; apanemeṁse mati śrutādi apūrṇa jñān dūr karake kevalajñān pragaṭ karatā hai, isaliye aur svayaṁ sahaj jñān svabhāvake dvārā dhruv rahatā hai isaliye svayaṁ hī apādān hai, apanemeṁ hī arthāt apane hī ādhārase kevalajñān pragaṭ karatā hai, isaliye svayaṁ hī adhikaraṇ hai . isaprakār svayaṁ chah kārakarūp hotā hai, isaliye vah ‘svayaṁbhū’ kahalātā hai . athavā, anādikālase ati dr̥rḥ ban̐dhe hue (jñānāvaraṇ, darśanāvaraṇ, mohanīy aur aṁtarāyarūp) dravya tathā bhāv ghātikarmoṁko naṣṭa karake svayamev āvirbhūt huā arthāt kisīkī sahāyatāke binā apane āp hī svayaṁ pragaṭ huā isaliye ‘svayaṁbhū’ kahalātā hai ..16..
ab is svayaṁbhūke śuddhātmasvabhāvakī prāptike atyanta avināśīpanā aur kathaṁcit (koī prakārase) utpād -vyay -dhrauvyayuktatākā vicār karate haiṁ : –

anvayārtha : — [bhaṅgavihinaḥ ca bhavaḥ ] usake (śuddhātmasvabhāvako prāpta ātmāke) vināś rahit utpād hai, aur [saṁbhavaparivarjitaḥ vināśaḥ hi ] utpād rahit vināś hai . [tasya ev punaḥ ] usake hī phi ra [sthitisaṁbhavanāśasamavāyaḥ vidyate ] sthiti, utpād aur vināśakā samavāy milāp, ekatrapanā vidyamān hai ..17..
ṭīkā : — vāstavameṁ is (śuddhātmasvabhāvako prāpta) ātmāke śuddhopayogake prasādase huā jo śuddhātmasvabhāvase (śuddhātmasvabhāvarūpase) utpād hai vah, punaḥ usarūpase pralayakā abhāv honese vināś rahit hai; aur (us ātmāke śuddhopayogake prasādase huā) jo aśuddhātmasvabhāvase vināś hai vah punaḥ utpattikā abhāv honese, utpād rahit hai . isase (yah kahā hai ki) us ātmāke siddharūpase avināśīpan hai . aisā hone par bhī ātmāke utpād, vyay aur dhrauvyakā samavāy virodhako prāpta nahīṁ hotā, kyoṁki vah vināś rahit utpādake sāth, utpād rahit vināśake sāth aur un donoṁke ādhārabhūt dravyake sāth samavet (tanmayatāse yukta -ekamek) hai .
bhāvārtha : — svayaṁbhū sarvajña bhagavānake jo śuddhātma svabhāv utpanna huā vah kabhī naṣṭa nahīṁ hotā, isaliye unake vināśarahit utpād hai; aur anādi avidyā janit vibhāv pariṇām ek bār sarvathā nāśako prāpta honeke bād phi ra kabhī utpanna nahīṁ hote, isaliye unake utpād rahit vināś hai . isaprakār yahān̐ yah kahā hai ki ve siddharūpase avināśī hai . isaprakār avināśī honepar bhī ve utpād -vyay -dhrauvyayukta haiṁ; kyoṁki śuddha paryāyakī apekṣāse unake utpād hai, aśuddha paryāyakī apekṣāse vyay hai aur un donoṁke ādhārabhūt ātmatvakī apekṣāse dhrauvya hai ..17..

ab, utpād ādi tīnoṁ (utpād, vyay aur dhrauvya) sarva dravyoṁke sādhāraṇ hai isaliye śuddha ātmā (kevalī bhagavān aur siddha bhagavān) ke bhī 1avaśyambhāvī hai aisā vyakta karate haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : — [utpādaḥ ] kisī paryāyase utpād [vināśaḥ ca ] aur kisī paryāyase vināś [sarvasya ] sarva [arthajātasya ] padārthamātrake [vidyate ] hotā hai; [ken api paryāyeṇ tu ] aur kisī paryāyase [arthaḥ ] padārtha [sadbhūtaḥ khalu bhavati ] vāstavameṁ dhruv hai ..18..

paryāyase donoṁmeṁ (bājūbanda aur an̐gūṭhī meṁ) utpatti -vināśako prāpta na honese dhrauvyatva dikhāī detā hai . isaprakār sarva dravyoṁke kisī paryāyase utpād, kisī paryāyase vināś aur kisī paryāyase dhrauvya hotā hai, aisā jānanā cāhie . isase (yah kahā gayā hai ki) śuddha ātmāke bhī dravyakā lakṣaṇabhūt utpād, vyay, dhrauvyarūp astitva avaśyambhāvī hai .
bhāvārtha : — dravyakā lakṣaṇ astitva hai aur astitva utpād -vyay -dhrauvyarūp hai . isaliye kisī paryāyase utpād, kisī paryāyase vināś aur kisī paryāyase dhrauvyatva pratyek padārthake hotā hai .
praśna : — ‘dravyakā astitva utpādādik tīnoṁse kyoṁ kahā hai ? ekamātra dhrauvyase hī kahanā cāhiye; kyoṁki jo dhruv rahatā hai vah sadā banā rah sakatā hai ?’
uttar : — yadi padārtha dhruv hī ho to miṭṭī, sonā, dūdh ityādi samasta padārtha ek hī sāmānya ākārase rahanā cāhiye; aur ghaṛā, kuṁḍal, dahī ityādi bhed kabhī na honā cāhiye . kintu aisā nahīṁ hotā arthāt bhed to avaśya dikhāī dete haiṁ . isaliye padārtha sarvathā dhruv na rahakar kisī paryāyase utpanna aur kisī paryāyase naṣṭa bhī hote haiṁ . yadi aisā na mānā jāye to saṁsārakā hī lop ho jāye .
1. aisī jo jo gāthāyeṁ śrī amr̥tacaṁdrācāryaviracit tattvapradīpikā ṭīkāmeṁ nahīṁ lekin śrī jayasenācāryadev viracit tātparyavr̥tti ṭīkāmeṁ hai un gāthāoṁke aṁtameṁ (“) karake un gāthāoṁko alag naṁbar diye hai.

jādo adiṁdio so ṇāṇaṁ sokkhaṁ ca pariṇamadi ..19.. nirdoṣiparamātmaśraddhānānmokṣo bhavatīti kathanarūpeṇ tr̥tīyasthale gāthā gatā .. athāsyātmano nirvikārasvasaṁvedanalakṣaṇaśuddhopayogaprabhāvātsarvajñatve satīndriyairvinā kathaṁ jñānānandāviti pr̥ṣṭe pratyuttaraṁ dadāti — pakkhīṇaghādikammo jñānādyanantacatuṣṭayasvarūpaparamātmadravyabhāvanālakṣaṇaśuddhopayogabalen prakṣīṇ- ghātikarmā san . aṇaṁtavaravīrio anantavaravīryaḥ . punarapi kiṁviśiṣṭaḥ . ahiyatejo adhikatejāḥ . atra tejaḥ śabden kevalajñānadarśanadvayaṁ grāhyam . jādo so sa pūrvoktalakṣaṇ ātmā jātaḥ saṁjātaḥ . kathaṁbhūtaḥ . aṇiṁdiyo anindriy indriyaviṣayavyāpārarahitaḥ . anindriyaḥ san kiṁ karoti . ṇāṇaṁ sokkhaṁ ca pariṇamadi kevalajñānamanantasaukhyaṁ ca pariṇamatīti . tathāhi — anen vyākhyānen kimuktaṁ bhavati . ātmā
isaprakār pratyek dravya utpād -vyay -dhrauvyamay hai, isaliye mukta ātmāke bhī utpād -vyay -dhrauvya avaśya hote haiṁ . yadi sthūlatāse dekhā jāye to siddha paryāyakā utpād aur saṁsār paryāyakā vyay huā tathā ātmatva dhruv banā rahā . is apekṣāse mukta ātmāke bhī utpād -vyay -dhrauvya hotā hai . athavā mukta ātmākā jñān jñey padārthoṁke ākārarūp huā karatā hai isaliye samasta jñey padārthomeṁ jis jis prakārase utpādādik hotā hai us -us prakārase jñānameṁ utpādādik hotā rahatā hai, isaliye mukta ātmāke samay samay par utpād -vyay -dhrauvya hotā hai . athavā adhik sūkṣmatāse dekhā jāye to, agurulaghuguṇameṁ honevālī ṣaṭagunī hānī vr̥ddhike kāraṇ mukta ātmāko samay samay par utpād -vyay -dhrauvyamay vartatā hai . yahān̐ jaise siddhabhagavānake utpādādi kahe haiṁ usīprakār kevalī bhagavānake bhī yathāyogya samajh lenā cāhiye ..18..
ab, śuddhopayogake prabhāvase svayaṁbhū hue is (pūrvokta) ātmāke indriyoṁke binā jñān aur ānanda kaise hotā hai ? aise saṁdehakā nivāraṇ karate haiṁ : —
prakṣīṇaghātikarma, anahadavīrya, adhikaprakāś ne indriy -atīt thayel ātmā jñānasaukhye pariṇame.19.

ayaṁ khalvātmā śuddhopayogasāmarthyāt prakṣīṇaghātikarmā, kṣāyopaśamikajñān- darśanāsaṁpr̥ktatvādatīndriyo bhūtaḥ sannikhilāntarāyakṣayādanantavaravīryaḥ, kr̥tsnajñānadarśanāvaraṇ- pralayādadhik ke valajñānadarśanābhidhānatejāḥ, samastamohanīyābhāvādatyantanirvikāraśuddhacaitanya- svabhāvamātmānamāsādayan svayamev svaparaprakāśakatvalakṣaṇaṁ jñānamanāku latvalakṣaṇaṁ saukhyaṁ ca bhūtvā pariṇamate . evamātmano jñānānandau svabhāv ev . svabhāvasya tu parānapekṣatvādindriyai- rvināpyātmano jñānānandau saṁbhavataḥ ..19.. tāvanniścayenānantajñānasukhasvabhāvo‘pi vyavahāreṇ saṁsārāvasthāyāṁ karmapracchāditajñānasukhaḥ san paścādindriyādhāreṇ kimapyalpajñānaṁ sukhaṁ ca pariṇamati . yadā punarnirvikalpasvasaṁvittibalen karmābhāvo bhavati tadā kṣayopaśamābhāvādindriyāṇi na santi svakīyātīndriyajñānaṁ sukhaṁ cānubhavati . tataḥ sthitaṁ indriyābhāve‘pi svakīyānantajñānaṁ sukhaṁ cānubhavati . tadapi kasmāt . svabhāvasya parāpekṣā nāstītyabhiprāyaḥ ..19.. athātīndriyatvādev kevalinaḥ śarīrādhārodbhūtaṁ bhojanādisukhaṁ kṣudhādiduḥkhaṁ ca nāstīti vicārayati — sokkhaṁ vā puṇ dukkhaṁ kevalaṇāṇissa ṇatthi sukhaṁ vā punarduḥkhaṁ vā kevalajñānino
anvayārtha : — [prakṣīṇaghātikarmā ] jisake ghātikarma kṣay ho cuke haiṁ, [atīndriyaḥ jātaḥ ] jo atīndriy ho gayā hai, [anantavaravīryaḥ ] ananta jisakā uttam vīrya hai aur [adhikatejāḥ ] 1adhik jisakā (kevalajñān aur kevaladarśanarūp) tej hai [saḥ ] aisā vah (svayaṁbhū ātmā) [jñānaṁ saukhyaṁ ca ] jñān aur sukharūp [pariṇamati ] pariṇaman karatā hai ..19..
ṭīkā : — śuddhopayogake sāmarthyase jisake ghātikarma kṣayako prāpta hue haiṁ, kṣāyopaśamik jñān -darśanake sāth asaṁpr̥kta (saṁparka rahit) honese jo atīndriy ho gayā hai, samasta antarāyakā kṣay honese ananta jisakā uttam vīrya hai, samasta jñānāvaraṇ aur darśanāvaraṇakā pralay ho jānese adhik jisakā kevalajñān aur kevaladarśan nāmak tej hai — aisā yah (svayaṁbhū) ātmā, samasta mohanīyake abhāvake kāraṇ atyaṁt nirvikār śuddha caitanya svabhāvavāle ātmākā (atyanta nirvikār śuddha caitanya jisakā svabhāv hai aise ātmākā ) anubhav karatā huā svayamev svaparaprakāśakatā lakṣaṇ jñān aur anākulatā lakṣaṇ sukh hokar pariṇamit hotā hai . is prakār ātmākā, jñān aur ānanda svabhāv hī hai . aur svabhāv parase પ્ર. ૫
2anapekṣa honeke kāraṇ indriyoṁke binā bhī ātmāke jñān aur ānanda hotā hai .

jamhā adiṁdiyattaṁ jādaṁ tamhā du taṁ ṇeyaṁ ..20.. nāsti . kathaṁbhūtam . dehagadaṁ dehagataṁ dehādhārajihvendriyādisamutpannaṁ kavalāhārādisukham, asātodayajanitaṁ kṣudhādiduḥkhaṁ ca . kasmānnāsti . jamhā adiṁdiyattaṁ jādaṁ yasmānmohādighātikarmābhāve pañcendriy- viṣayavyāpārarahitatvaṁ jātam . tamhā du taṁ ṇeyaṁ tasmādatīndriyatvāddhetoratīndriyamev tajjñānaṁ sukhaṁ ca jñeyamiti . tadyathā — lohapiṇḍasaṁsargābhāvādagniryathā ghanaghātapiṭṭanaṁ na labhate tathāyamātmāpi lohapiṇḍa- sthānīyendriyagrāmābhāvāt sāṁsārikasukhaduḥkhaṁ nānubhavatītyarthaḥ . kaścidāh – kevalināṁ bhuktirasti, audārikaśarīrasadbhāvāt . asadvedyakarmodayasadbhāvādvā . asmadādivat . parihāramāh — tadbhagavataḥ śarīr- maudārikaṁ na bhavati kiṁtu paramaudārikam . tathā coktaṁ – ‘‘śuddhaspha ṭikasaṁkāśaṁ tejomūrtimayaṁ vapuḥ . jāyate kṣīṇadoṣasya saptadhātuvivarjitam’’ .. yaccoktamasadvedyodayasadbhāvāttatra parihāramāh — yathā vrīhyādibījaṁ jalasahakārikāraṇasahitamaṅkakakakakuuuuurādikāryaṁ janayati tathaivāsadvedyakarma mohanīyasahakārikāraṇasahitaṁ kṣudhādi- kāryamutpādayati . ka smāt . ‘mohassa baleṇ ghādade jīvaṁ’ iti vacanāt . yadi punarmohābhāve‘pi kṣudhādiparīṣahaṁ janayati tarhi vadharogādiparīṣahamapi janayatu, na ca tathā . tadapi kasmāt . ‘bhuktyupasargābhāvāt’ iti vacanāt . anyadapi dūṣaṇamasti . yadi kṣudhābādhāsti tarhi kṣudhākṣīṇaśakteranantavīryaṁ nāsti . tathaiv kṣudhāduḥkhitasyānantasukhamapi nāsti . jihvendriyaparicchitti- rūpamatijñānapariṇatasya kevalajñānamapi na saṁbhavati . athavā anyadapi kāraṇamasti . asadvedyodayāpekṣayā sadvedyodayo‘nantaguṇo‘sti . tataḥ kāraṇāt śarkarārāśimadhye nimbakaṇikāvadasadvedyodayo vidyamāno‘pi na jñāyate . tathaivānyadapi bādhakamasti — yathā pramattasaṁyatāditapodhanānāṁ vedodaye vidyamāne‘pi mandamohodayatvādakhaṇḍabrahmacāriṇāṁ strīparīṣahabādhā nāsti, yathaiv ca navagraiveyakādyahamindradevānāṁ
bhāvārtha : — ātmāko jñān aur sukharūp pariṇamit honemeṁ indriyādik par nimittoṁkī āvaśyak tā nahīṁ hai; kyoṁki jisakā lakṣaṇ arthāt svarūp svaparaprakāśakatā hai aisā jñān aur jisakā lakṣaṇ anākulatā hai aisā sukh ātmākā svabhāv hī hai ..19..
ab atīndriyatāke kāraṇ hī śuddha ātmāke (kevalī bhagavānake) śārīrik sukh duḥkh nahīṁ hai yah vyakta karate haiṁ : —
kan̐ī dehagat nathī sukh ke nathī duḥkh kevaḷajñānīne, jethī atīndriyatā thaī te kāraṇe e jāṇaje.20.

so ṇev te vijāṇadi uggahapuvvāhiṁ kiriyāhiṁ ..21.. cādhyātmagranthatvānnocyanta iti . ayamatra bhāvārthaḥ — idaṁ vastusvarūpamev jñātavyamatrāgraho na kartavyaḥ . kasmāt . durāgrahe sati rāgadveṣotpattirbhavati tataśca nirvikāracidānandaikasvabhāvaparamātmabhāvanāvighāto bhavatīti ..20.. evamanantajñānasukhasthāpane prathamagāthā kevalibhuktinirākaraṇe dvitīyā ceti gāthādvayaṁ gatam . iti saptagāthābhiḥ sthalacatuṣṭayen sāmānyen sarvajñasiddhināmā dvitīyo‘ntarādhikāraḥ samāptaḥ .. ath jñānaprapañcābhidhānāntarādhikāre trayastriṁśadgāthā bhavanti . tatrāṣṭau sthalāni . teṣvādau
ṭīkā : – jaise agniko lohapiṇḍake tapta pudgaloṁkā samasta vilās nahīṁ hai (arthāt agni loheke goleke pudgaloṁke vilāsase — unakī kriyāse — bhinna hai) usīprakār śuddha ātmāke (arthāt kevalajñānī bhagavānake) indriy -samūh nahīṁ hai; isīliye jaise agniko ghanake ghor āghātoṁkī paramparā nahīṁ hai (loheke goleke saṁsargakā abhāv hone par ghanake lagātār āghātoṁ kī bhayaṁkar mār agnipar nahīṁ paṛatī) isīprakār śuddha ātmāke śarīr sambandhī sukh duḥkh nahīṁ haiṁ .
bhāvārtha : — kevalī bhagavānake śarīr sambandhī kṣudhādikā duḥkh yā bhojanādikā sukh nahīṁ hotā isaliye unake kavalāhār nahīṁ hotā ..20..

ṭīkā : — kevalībhagavān indriyoṁke ālambanase avagrah -īhā -avāy pūrvak kramase nahīṁ jānate, (kintu) svayamev samasta āvaraṇake kṣayake kṣaṇ hī, anādi ananta, ahetuk aur asādhāraṇ jñānasvabhāvako hī kāraṇarūp grahaṇ karanese tatkāl hī pragaṭ honevāle kevalajñānopayogarūp hokar pariṇamit hote haiṁ; isaliye unake samasta dravya, kṣetra, kāl aur bhāvakā akramik grahaṇ honese samakṣa saṁvedanakī ( – pratyakṣa jñānakī) ālambanabhūt samasta dravya -paryāyeṁ pratyakṣa hī haiṁ .

ab atīndriy jñānarūp pariṇamit honese hī in bhagavānako kuch bhī parokṣa nahīṁ hai, aisā abhiprāy pragaṭ karate haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : — [sadā akṣātītasya ] jo sadā indriyātīt haiṁ, [samantataḥ sarvākṣaguṇ- samr̥ddhasya ] jo sarva orase ( – sarva ātmapradeśoṁse) sarva indriy guṇoṁse samr̥ddha haiṁ [svayamev hi jñānajātasya ] aur jo svayamev jñānarūp hue haiṁ, un kevalī bhagavānako [kiṁcit api ] kuch bhī [parokṣaṁ nāsti ] parokṣa nahīṁ hai ..22..
na parokṣa kan̐ī paṇ sarvataḥ sarvākṣaguṇ samr̥ddhane, indriy -atīt sadaiv ne svayamev jñān thayelane.22.

ṭīkā : — samasta āvaraṇake kṣayake kṣaṇ hī jo (bhagavān) sāṁsārik jñānako utpanna karaneke balako kāryarūp denemeṁ hetubhūt aisī apane apane niścit viṣayoṁko grahaṇ karanevālī indriyoṁse atīt hue haiṁ, jo sparśa, ras, gaṁdh, varṇa aur śabdake jñānarūp sarva indriy – guṇoṁke dvārā sarva orase samarasarūpase samr̥ddha haiṁ (arthāt jo bhagavān sparśa, ras, gaṁdh, varṇa tathā śabdako sarva ātmapradeśoṁse samānarūpase jānate haiṁ) aur jo svayamev samastarūpase svaparakā prakāśan karanemeṁ samartha avināśī lokottar jñānarūp hue haiṁ, aise in (kevalī) bhagavānako samasta dravya- kṣetra -kāl -bhāvakā akramik grahaṇ honese kuch bhī parokṣa nahīṁ hai .
bhāvārtha : — indriyakā guṇ to sparśādik ek -ek guṇako hī jānanā hai jaise cakṣuindriyakā guṇ rūpako hī jānanā hai arthāt rūpako hī jānanemeṁ nimitta honā hai . aur indriyajñān kramik hai . kevalībhagavān indriyoṁke nimittake binā samasta ātmapradeśoṁse sparśādi sarva viṣayoṁko jānate haiṁ, aur jo samastarūpase sva -par prakāśak hai aise lokottar jñānarūp ( – laukikajñānase bhinna kevalajñānarūp) svayamev pariṇamit huā karate haiṁ; isaliye samasta dravya -kṣetra -kāl aur bhāvako avagrahādi kram rahit jānate haiṁ isaliye kevalī bhagavānake kuch bhī parokṣa nahīṁ hai ..22..

ātmā hi ‘samaguṇaparyāyaṁ dravyam’ iti vacanāt jñānen sah hīnādhikatvarahitatven pariṇatatvāttatparimāṇaḥ, jñānaṁ tu jñeyaniṣṭhatvāddāhyaniṣṭhadahanavattatparimāṇaṁ; jñeyaṁ tu lokālokavibhāgavibhaktānantaparyāyamālikālīḍhasvarūpasūcitā vicchedotpādadhrauvyā ṣaḍdravyī vyavahāreṇ sarvagatamityupadiśati — ādā ṇāṇapamāṇaṁ jñānen sah hīnādhikatvābhāvādātmā jñānapramāṇo bhavati . tathāhi — ‘samaguṇaparyāyaṁ dravyaṁ bhavati’ iti vacanādvartamānamanuṣyabhave vartamānamanuṣya- paryāyapramāṇaḥ, tathaiv manuṣyaparyāyapradeśavartijñānaguṇapramāṇaśca pratyakṣeṇ dr̥śyate yathāyamātmā, tathā niścayataḥ sarvadaivāvyābādhākṣayasukhādyanantaguṇādhārabhūto yo‘sau kevalajñānaguṇastatpramāṇo‘yamātmā . ṇāṇaṁ ṇeyappamāṇamuddiṭṭhaṁ dāhyaniṣṭhadahanavat jñānaṁ jñeyapramāṇamuddiṣṭaṁ kathitam . ṇeyaṁ loyāloyaṁ jñeyaṁ lokā- ab, ātmākā jñānapramāṇapanā aur jñānakā sarvagatapanā udyot karate haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : — [ātmā ] ātmā [jñānapramāṇaṁ ] jñān pramāṇ hai; [jñānaṁ ] jñān [jñeyapramāṇaṁ ] jñey pramāṇ [uddiṣṭaṁ ] kahā gayā hai . [jñeyaṁ lokālokaṁ ] jñey lokālok hai [tasmāt ] isaliye [jñānaṁ tu ] jñān [sarvagataṁ ] sarvagat – sarva vyāpak hai ..23..
ṭīkā : — ‘samaguṇaparyāyaṁ dravyaṁ (guṇ -paryāyeṁ arthāt yugapad sarvaguṇ aur paryāyeṁ hī dravya hai)’ is vacanake anusār ātmā jñānase hīnādhikatārahitarūpase pariṇamit honeke kāraṇ jñānapramāṇ hai, aur jñān 1jñeyaniṣṭha honese, dāhyaniṣṭha 2 dahanakī bhān̐ti, jñey pramāṇ hai . jñey to lok aur alokake vibhāgase 3vibhakta, 4ananta paryāyamālāse āliṁgit svarūpase sūcit ( – pragaṭ, jñān), nāśavān dikhāī detā huā bhī dhruv aisā ṣaṭdravya -samūh, arthāt sab kuch hai .
jīvadravya jñānapramāṇ bhākhyuṁ, jñān jñeyapramāṇ che; ne jñey lokālok, tethī sarvagat e jñān che.23.
1. jñeyaniṣṭha = jñeyoṁkā avalamban karanevālā; jñeyomeṁ tatpar . 2. dahan = jalānā; agni .

lokaṁ bhavati . śuddhabuddhaikasvabhāvasarvaprakāropādeyabhūtaparamātmadravyādiṣaḍdravyātmako lokaḥ, lokādbahi- rbhāge śuddhākāśamalokaḥ, tacca lokālokadvayaṁ svakīyasvakīyānantaparyāyapariṇatirūpeṇānityamapi dravyārthikanayen nityam . tamhā ṇāṇaṁ tu savvagayaṁ yasmānniścayaratnatrayātmakaśuddhopayogabhāvanābalenotpannaṁ yatkevalajñānaṁ taṭṭaṅkotkīrṇākāranyāyen nirantaraṁ pūrvoktajñeyaṁ jānāti, tasmādvayavahāreṇ tu jñānaṁ sarvagataṁ bhaṇyate . tataḥ sthitametadātmā jñānapramāṇaṁ jñānaṁ sarvagatamiti ..23.. athātmānaṁ jñānapramāṇaṁ ye na manyante tatra hīnādhikatve dūṣaṇaṁ dadāti — ṇāṇappamāṇamādā ṇa havadi jasseh jñānapramāṇamātmā na bhavati (jñey chahoṁ dravyoṁkā samūh arthāt sab kuch hai) isaliye niḥśeṣ āvaraṇake kṣayake samay hī lok aur alokake vibhāgase vibhakta samasta vastuoṁke ākāroṁke pārako prāpta karake isīprakār acyutarūp rahane se jñān sarvagat hai .
bhāvārtha : — guṇ -paryāyase dravya ananya hai isaliye ātmā jñānase hīnādhik na honese jñān jitanā hī hai; aur jaise dāhya (jalane yogya padārtha) kā avalamban karanevālā dahan dāhyake barābar hī hai usī prakār jñeyakā avalamban karanevālā jñān jñeyake barābar hī hai . jñey to samasta lokālok arthāt sab hī hai . isaliye, sarva āvaraṇakā kṣay hote hī (jñān) sabako jānatā hai aur phi ra kabhī bhī sabake jānanese cyut nahīṁ hotā isaliye jñān sarvavyāpak hai ..23..
ab ātmāko jñān pramāṇ na mānanemeṁ do pakṣa upasthit karake doṣ batalāte haiṁ : — jīvadravya jñānapramāṇ nahi — e mānyatā che jehane, tenā mate jīv jñānathī hīn ke adhik avaśya che.24. jo hīn ātmā hoy, nav jāṇe acetan jñān e, ne adhik jñānathī hoy to vaṇ jñān kyam jāṇe are ?25.

bhāvārtha : — ātmākā kṣetra jñānake kṣetrase kam mānā jāye to ātmāke kṣetrase bāhar vartanevālā jñān cetanadravyake sāth sambandha na honese acetan guṇ jaisā hī hogā, isaliye vah jānanekā kām nahīṁ kar sakegā, jaise ki varṇa, gaṁdh, ras, sparśa ityādi acetan guṇ jānanekā kām nahīṁ kar sakate . yadi ātmākā kṣetra jñānake kṣetra se adhik mānā jāye to jñānake kṣetrase bāhar vartanevālā jñānaśūnya ātmā jñānake binā jānanekā kām nahīṁ ka ra sakegā, jaise jñānaśūnya ghaṭ, paṭ ityādi padārtha jānanekā kām nahīṁ kar sakate . isaliye ātmā na to jñānase hīn hai aur na adhik hai, kintu jñān jitanā hī hai ..24 -25..
ab, jñānakī bhān̐ti ātmākā bhī sarvagatatva nyāyasiddha hai aisā kahate haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : — [jinavr̥ṣabhaḥ ] jinavar [sarvagataḥ ] sarvagat haiṁ [ca ] aur [jagati ] jagatake [sarve api arthāḥ ] sarva padārtha [tadgatāḥ ] jinavaragat (jinavarameṁ prāpta) haiṁ; [jinaḥ jñānamayatvāt ] kyoṁki jin jñānamay haiṁ [ca ] aur [te ] ve sab padārtha [viṣayatvāt ] jñānake viṣay honese [tasya ] jinake viṣay [bhaṇitāḥ ] kahe gaye haiṁ ..26..
che sarvagat jinavar ane sau artha jinavaraprāpta che, jin jñānamay ne sarva artho viṣay jinanā hoine.26.

ṭīkā : — kyoṁki śeṣ samasta cetan tathā acetan vastuoṁke sāth 1samavāyasambandha nahīṁ hai, isaliye jisake sāth anādi ananta svabhāvasiddha samavāyasambandha hai aise ek ātmākā ati nikaṭatayā (abhinna pradeśarūpase) avalamban karake pravartamān honese jñān ātmāke binā apanā astitva nahīṁ rakh sakatā; isaliye jñān ātmā hī hai . aur ātmā to ananta dharmoṁkā adhiṣṭhān (-ādhār) honese jñānadharmake dvārā jñān hai aur anya dharmake dvārā anya bhī hai .
aur phi ra, isake atirikta (viśeṣ samajhanā ki) yahān̐ anekānta balavān hai . yadi yah mānā jāy ki ekāntase jñān ātmā hai to, (jñānaguṇ ātmadravya ho jānese) jñānakā abhāv ho jāyegā, (aur jñānaguṇakā abhāv honese) ātmāke acetanatā ā jāyegī athavā viśeṣaguṇakā abhāv honese ātmākā abhāv ho jāyegā . yadi yah mānā jāye ki sarvathā ātmā jñān hai to, (ātmadravya ek jñānaguṇarūp ho jānepar jñānakā koī ādhārabhūt dravya nahīṁ rahanese) nirāśrayatāke kāraṇ jñānakā abhāv ho jāyegā athavā (ātmadravyake ek jñānaguṇarūp ho jānese) ātmākī śeṣ paryāyoṁkā ( – sukh, vīryādi guṇoṁkā) abhāv ho jāyegā aur unake

anvayārtha : — [jñānī ] ātmā [jñānasvabhāvaḥ ] jñān svabhāv hai [arthāḥ hi ] aur padārtha [jñāninaḥ ] ātmāke [jñeyātmakāḥ ] jñey svarūp haiṁ, [rūpāṇi iv cakṣuṣoḥ ] jaise ki rūp (rūpī padārtha) netroṁkā jñey hai vaise [anyonyeṣu ] ve ek -dūsare meṁ [na ev vartante ] nahīṁ vartate ..28..
ṭīkā : — ātmā aur padārtha svalakṣaṇabhūt pr̥thaktvake kāraṇ ek dūsaremeṁ nahīṁ vartate parantu unake mātra netra aur rūpī padārthakī bhān̐ti jñānajñeyasvabhāv -sambandhase honevālī ek dūsaremeṁ pravr̥tti pāī jātī hai . (pratyek dravyakā lakṣaṇ anya dravyoṁse bhinnatva honese ātmā aur padārtha ek dūsaremeṁ nahīṁ vartate, kintu ātmākā jñānasvabhāv hai aur padārthoṁkā jñey svabhāv hai, aise jñānajñeyabhāvarūp sambandhake kāraṇ hī mātra unakā ek dūsaremeṁ honā netra
che ‘jñānī’ jñānasvabhāv, artho jñeyarūp che ‘jñānī’nā, jyam rūp che netro taṇāṁ, nahi vartatā anyonyamāṁ.28.
