indriyasukhabhājaneṣu hi pradhānā divaukasaḥ . teṣāmapi svābhāvikaṁ na khalu sukhamasti,
pratyut teṣāṁ svābhāvikaṁ duḥkhamevāvalokyate, yataste paṁcendriyātmakaśarīrapiśācapīḍayā paravaśā
bhr̥guprapātasthānīyān manojñaviṣayānabhipatanti ..71..
athaivamindriyasukhasya duḥkhatāyāṁ yuktyāvatāritāyāmindriyasukhasādhanībhūtapuṇyanirvartak-
śubhopayogasya duḥkhasādhanībhūtapāpanirvartakāśubhopayogaviśeṣādaviśeṣatvamavatārayati —
ṇaraṇārayatiriyasurā bhajaṁti jadi dehasaṁbhavaṁ dukkhaṁ .
kih so suho va asuho uvaogo havadi jīvāṇaṁ ..72..
naranārakatiryaksurā bhajanti yadi dehasaṁbhavaṁ duḥkham .
kathaṁ sa śubho vā‘śubh upayogo bhavati jīvānām ..72..
lobhasthānīyasarpacatuṣkaprasāritavadane dehasthānīyamahāndhakūpe patitaḥ san kaścit puruṣaviśeṣaḥ, saṁsār-
sthānīyamahāraṇye mithyātvādikumārge naṣṭaḥ san mr̥tyusthānīyahastibhayenāyuṣkarmasthānīye sāṭikaviśeṣe
śuklakr̥ṣṇapakṣasthānīyaśuklakr̥ṣṇamūṣakadvayachedyamānamūle vyādhisthānīyamadhumakṣikāveṣṭite lagnastenaiv
1. bhr̥guprapāt = atyaṁt duḥkhase ghabarākar ātmaghāt karaneke liye parvatake nirādhār ucca śikharase giranā .
(bhr̥gu = parvatakā nirādhār uccasthān – śikhar; prapāt = giranā)
tiryaṁc -nārak -sur -naro jo dehagat duḥkh anubhave,

nahīṁ hai, ulaṭā unake svābhāvik duḥkh hī dekhā jātā hai; kyoṁki ve paṁcendriyātmak śarīrarūpī
piśācakī pīṛāse paravaś honese 1bhr̥guprapātake samān manojña viṣayoṁkī or dauṁṛate hai ..71..
isaprakār yuktipūrvak indriyasukhako duḥkharūp pragaṭ karake, ab indriyasukhake
sādhanabhūt puṇyako utpanna karanevāle śubhopayogakī, duḥkhake sādhanabhūt pāpako utpanna karanevāle
aśubhopayogase aviśeṣatā pragaṭ karate haiṁ : —
anvayārtha : – [naranārakatiryaksurāḥ ] manuṣya, nārakī, tiryaṁc aur dev ( – sabhī)
[yadi ] yadi [dehasaṁbhavaṁ ] dehotpanna [duḥkhaṁ ] duḥkhako [bhajaṁti ] anubhav karate haiṁ, [jīvānāṁ ]
to jīvoṁkā [saḥ upayogaḥ ] vah (śuddhopayogase vilakṣaṇ -aśuddha) upayog [śubhaḥ vā
aśubhaḥ ] śubh aur aśubh — do prakārakā [kathaṁ bhavati ] kaise hai ? (arthāt nahīṁ hai )..72..
